<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>The microstructure of twin roll cast and warm rolled ZK60 alloy sheet was investigated using OM and TEM technique after annealing treatment at the temperature ranging from 300°C to 400°C. Tensile test at room temperature was performed to show the influence of annealing treatment on mechanical properties. Static recrystallization (SRX) was observed during annealing treatment of ZK60 alloy sheet at and above 300°C. Shear bands, dislocations and twins play an important role during static recrystallization and serve as nucleation sites. Disc-shaped precipitates could be found in annealed ZK60 alloy sheet. Higher temperature annealing treatment resulted in higher density precipitates, and at this condition the dispersion strengthening particles improved the ability of resistance to softening at elevated temperature. Annealing treatment at 375°C for 10<SUP>3</SUP>s can be considered to be the optimum annealing treatment, and under this condition the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are 388MPa, 301MPa and 22.9%, respectively.</P>

Sibutramine enantiomers were separated successfully by capillary zone electrophoresis using substituted cyclodextrins as chiral selectors. The effects of cyclodextrin concentration, pH, voltage, buffer type, and electrolyte concentration on the migration time and resolution of enantiomers were examined. Separation of sibutramine enantiomers on an unmodified fused silica capillary (total length, 54 cm; effective length, 45 cm) was achieved using a mixed buffer of 20 mM phosphate/10 mM citrate containing either 5 mM methyl-${\beta}$-cyclodextrin (pH 4.3) or 5 mM carboxymethyl-${\beta}$-cyclodextrin (pH 6.5). Samples were injected with a pressure of 50 mbar for 5 s and were detected at a wavelength of 223 nm. The established method showed good precision and accuracy, with intra- and inter-day variations of less than 2.9 and 4.7%, respectively, and recoveries of 95.7 - 103.8%. The stability constants of (R)- and (S)-sibutramine demonstrated that the resolution of sibutramine enantiomers was attributable primarily to the difference in stability constants. When this optimized method was applied to the determination of sibutramine enantiomers in commercial drug formulations, it proved to be economical and convenient, affording sufficient accuracy, precision, and reproducibility as well as sensitivity and selectivity.
Fabrication, Densification and Thermionic Emission Property of Lanthanum Hexaboride

An effective way to improve sintering densification of LaB6was proposed and confirmed experimentally. Firstly, LaB6nanopowders with a cube-like shape of ~ 94.7 nm were fabricated by molten salt synthesis route at 800 °C for 1 h. Then,LaB6bulk material of 98% density was prepared by hot pressing sintering of as-synthesized LaB6nanopowders under1800 °C/50 MPa/30 min. The acquired LaB6bulk material had a work function of 2.87 eV and exhibited an excellentthermionic emission property. The saturation emission current density at 1500 and 1600 °C reached 37.4 and 44.3 A/cm2,respectively.

Clinical practice guidelines in Traditional Chinese Medicine (CPG-TCM) is the recommendation that aims to provide the best service to users by identifying and summarizing the rules of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and regression of diseases based on systematic reviews of evidence and balancing the advantages and disadvantages of different interventions for clinical questions of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over the past 30 years, the concept and methods of evidence-based medicine have had a significant impact on the development of clinical practice guidelines in Western Medicine (CPG-WM), and their standardized guideline development methods are being adapted and used in the development of CPG-TCM. However, the quality of CPG-TCM is far from CPG-WM, and the methodological system for developing CPG-TCM is not yet fully established. Therefore, this study aims to explore the methodological differences between CPG-TCM and CPG-WM and to inform the development of high-quality CPGTCM.
A Study on Blended Inlet Body Design for a High Supersonic Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

The design process of blended inlet body (BIB) for the preliminary design of a near-space high supersonic unmanned aerial vehicle (HSUAV) is presented. The mass flow rate and cowl area of inlet at a design point are obtained according to the cruise condition of the HSUAV. A mixed-compression axisymmetric supersonic inlet section with a fixed geometry reasonably matching the high supersonic cruise state is created by using the inviscid theory of aerodynamics. The inlet section is optimized and used as a baseline section for the BIB design. Three BIB concepts for the HSUAV are proposed, and their internal aerodynamic characteristics of inlet are evaluated using Euler computational fluid dynamics (Euler CFD) solver. The preferred concept is identified, in which the straight leading edge of the baseline HSUAV configuration is modified into the convex leading edge to accommodate the inlet and meet the requirements of the cowl area to capture the sufficient air flow. The total recovery of inlet for the preferred BIB concept and the aerodynamic characteristics of the modified HSUAV configuration are verified using Navier-Stokes computational fluid dynamics (NS CFD) solver. The validation indicates that the preferred BIB concept can meet both the requirements of the inlet and aerodynamic performance of the HSUAV.
H2 Metabolism revealed by metagenomic analysis of subglacial sediment from East Antarctica

Subglacial ecosystems harbor diverse chemoautotrophic microbial communities in areas with limited organic carbon, and lithological H2 produced during glacial erosion has been considered an important energy source in these ecosystems. To verify the H2-utilizing potential there and to identify the related energy-converting metabolic mechanisms of these communities, we performed metagenomic analysis on subglacial sediment samples from East Antarctica with and without H2 supplementation. Genes coding for several [NiFe]- hydrogenases were identified in raw sediment and were enriched after H2 incubation. All genes in the dissimilatory nitrate reduction and denitrification pathways were detected in the subglacial community, and the genes coding for these pathways became enriched after H2 was supplied. Similarly, genes transcribing key enzymes in the Calvin cycle were detected in raw sediment and were also enriched. Moreover, key genes involved in H2 oxidization, nitrate reduction, oxidative phosphorylation, and the Calvin cycle were identified within one metagenome-assembled genome belonging to a Polaromonas sp. As suggested by our results, the microbial community in the subglacial environment we investigated consisted of chemoautotrophic populations supported by H2 oxidation. These results further confirm the importance of H2 in the cryosphere.

Two biosorbents were prepared using bamboo powder modified with mercaptoacetic acid and carbondisulfide, which exhibits strong adsorption properties for Cu2+ and Ni2+. The obtained materials were characterized byFTIR. Maximum adsorption for both metals was found to occur around pH 5.0-6.5. The kinetic data followed thepseudo-second-order model. The maximum adsorption capacities of Cu2+ and Ni2+ on mercaptoacetic acid modifiedbamboo powder determined from Langmuir isotherm were 103.97mg g−1 and 61.35mg g−1, respectively. While oncarbon disulfide modified bamboo powder were 128.21mg g−1 and 56.82mg g−1, respectively. The adsorption mechanismanalysis revealed that the most possible adsorption mode of Cu2+ was coordination, and Ni2+ was ion exchange. The obtained adsorbents could effectively remove Cu2+ and Ni2+ from industrial electroplating wastewater and could beused repeatedly for more than five cycles.
