        This study is to investigate the influence of the manufacturing company and fineness of cement on bleeding of concrete. According to the results, as fineness of comment increases, slump and air content of fresh concrete decrease, and setting time is shortened. The amount of bleeding abates with an increase of fineness, and it is confirmed that bleeding does not occur especially in the case of B8000. it is confirmed that bleeding does not occur. Bleeding speed is higher in the case of OPC A than in the case OPC B, and grows low with an increase of fineness. It also becomes highest at about 60 minutes, and shows slow tendency in W/C of 45% in comparison with W/C of 50%. And It is confirmed that relativity between fineness of cement and the final amount of bleeding is very favorable. As the properties of hardened concrete, compressive strength do not make much difference between OPC A and B is little, and increases with an increase of fineness.

        This study is to investigate the influence of contents of mineral admixture on bleeding of concrete. According to the results, as W/B increases, bleeding occurs rapidly at early age regardless of replacement of mineral admixture, and when slump and air content are kept equal, the amount of bleeding decreases proportionately with an increase of replacing ratio of fly ash and blast furnace slag powder. Bleeding speed is highest at 60 minutes after placing concrete, and grow slower after 180 minutes. Bleeding speed also grows high with an increase of W/B, and is lower in the case of fly ash than in the case of blast furnace slag powder.

        벼 이앙재배에서 유기질 복합비료 시용이 잡초억제와 벼 생육환경에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 유기질 복합비료가 벼 재배 논에서 잡초 및 벼 생육에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실내 검정 시험에서 유기질 복합비료를 125-250㎏ 10a-1 처리시 이앙벼는 지상부가 10.3~27.2% 증가하였고, 피는 50.3-89.2%의 출현이 억제되었으며, 사마귀풀은 낮은 처리량에서도 높은 감수성을 보였다, 유기질 복합비료는 피, 물달개비, 사마귀풀에 대하여 담수심(1-5㎝)이 깊을수록 높게 억제하였으나, 올방개와 같은 사초과 잡초에 대해서는 억제 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 또 20-35℃의 비교적 높은 온도에서 피와 물달개비는 각각 75.4~92.2%, 49.5~81.6%의 높은 출현억제율을 나타냈다. 유기질 복합비료 시용 10일 후 낙수 시 피와 물달개비는 각각 33.7%, 23.0%의 출현억제율을 나타내었다. 포장시험에서 시험 후 토양의 유기물은 관행구애서 유기질 복합비료 시용구보다 약간 낮게 나타났다. 벼의 생육은 초장 및 경수가 관행구 대비 적었으며 그 차이는 생육후기에 더 많이 나타났고, 벼의 수량은 관행구 대비 4% 감소하였다. 논잡초 억제 효과는 유기질 복합비료 시용구에서 60.5%로 관행구 보다 낮게 나타났다. The effects of organic-compound fertilizer on weed control and rice growth in the transplanting rice cultivation were researched in this article. The results showed that the growth of transplanted rice was promoted (the increased rate was 10.3 - 27.2 %), but the plant number for Echinochloa crus-galli was controlled (the inhibition rate was 50.3~89.2%), besides, small amount of organic-compound fertilizer in controlling Aneilema keisak was highly effective when the transplanted rice was treated with 125~250 ㎏ 10a-1 organic-compound fertilizer. Moreover, E. crus-galli, Monochoria vaginalis and A. keisak were inhibited largely by increasing the water depth (1~5 ㎝), whereas Eleocharis kuroguwai and other sedges weeds were not effected by water depth. Compared with the temperature of 20~35℃, the plant occurrence of E. crus-galli and M. vaginalis at high temperature was inhibited (the inhibition rate were 75.4 -92.2% and 49.5% - 81.6%, respectively). When the transplanted rice was treated with the above organic-compound fertilizer after 10day, the inhibition rate of plant occurrence for E. crus-galli and M. vaginalis was 33.7% and 23.3%, respectively. Similarly, in the later period of rice growth, the plant height and the numbers of tiller grew slowly in conventional soil in comparison with the soil treated with organic-compound fertilizer. It has been found that the rice yield in experimental soil was decreased by 4%. This result in the field experiment showed that organic material contents in conventional soil were lower than that in soil which used the organic-compound fertilizer. Weed control in experimental soil showed 60.5% lower effects than that in conventional soil.

        Study on the Seismic Optimization Scheme of Steel Bundled-Tube Structure with Vertical Setback

        In order to improve the seismic performance of vertical setback steel bundled-tube structure and meet the dynamic multi-objective requirements of seismic performance-based design, the optimization effects under rare earthquakes on the zone of fortification intensity 7 and 8 in China are researched by improving members stiffness and adding dampers in the weak parts of structure, based on dynamic elastic-plastic analysis. The results show that: 1) Under rare earthquakes on the zone of fortification intensity 7, increasing the stiffness of weak skirt beam can improve the seismic performance of spiral and symmetrical setback structure; 2) For the spiral setback structure, under rare earthquakes on the zone of fortification intensity 7, the damper can only be arranged at the junction of the first layer of the setback frame unit and the frame unit without setback. However, under rare earthquakes on the zone of fortification intensity 8, it is not advisable to install dampers at the weak areas; 3) After incorporating dampers at the weak areas of symmetrical setback structure, the optimized members experienced a reduction in stress levels, significantly decreased the inter-layer displacement angles with a maximum reduction of 43%, and the optimization effect is significant.

        MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous non-coding genes that participate in post-transcription regulation by either degrading mRNA or blocking its translation. It is considered to be very important in regulating insect development and metamorphosis. Insects are the largest group of animals and are extremely valuable in biological and agriculture research. Insects are also important pests to human health and agriculture, and efforts are necessary protect both humans and plants from disease and damage. Despite their importance, insects lag behind mammals, nematodes, and plants in miRNA research. At present, only 279 insect miRNAs have been identified from Drosophila melanogaster, Anopheles gambiae, Apis mellifera, Bombyx mori, and D. pseudoobscura in miRBase, and most of these miRNAs were computationally predicted without experimental validation. Functional analysis of insect miRNAs has only been conducted in D. melanogaster.

      • Regulatory Network of MicroRNAs, Target Genes, Transcription Factors and Host Genes in Endometrial Cancer

        Genes and microRNAs (miRNAs) have important roles in human oncology. However, most of the biological factors are reported in disperse form which makes it hard to discover the pathology. In this study, genes and miRNAs involved in human endometrial cancer(EC) were collected and formed into regulatory networks following their interactive relations, including miRNAs targeting genes, transcription factors (TFs) regulating miRNAs and miRNAs included in their host genes. Networks are constructed hierarchically at three levels: differentially expressed, related and global. Among the three, the differentially expressed network is the most important and fundamental network that contains the key genes and miRNAs in EC. The target genes, TFs and miRNAs are differentially expressed in EC so that any mutation in them may impact on EC development. Some key pathways in networks were highlighted to analyze how they interactively influence other factors and carcinogenesis. Upstream and downstream pathways of the differentially expressed genes and miRNAs were compared and analyzed. The purpose of this study was to partially reveal the deep regulatory mechanisms in EC using a new method that combines comprehensive genes and miRNAs together with their relationships. It may contribute to cancer prevention and gene therapy of EC.

        Mobile-Based Relay Selection Schemes for Multi-Hop Cellular Networks

        Multi-hop cellular networks (MCNs), which reduce the transmit power, mitigate the inter-cell interference, and improve the system performance, have been widely studied nowadays. The relay selection scheme is a key technique that achieves these advantages,and inappropriate relay selection causes frequent relay switchings, which deteriorates the overall performance. In this study, we analyze the conditions for relay switching in MCNs and obtain the expressions for the relay switching rate and relay activation time. Two mobile-based relay selection schemes are proposed on the basis of this analysis. These schemes select the relay node with the longest relay activation time and minimal relay switching rate throughmobility prediction of themobile node requiring relay and available relay nodes. We compare the system performances via simulation and analyze the impact of various parameters on the system performance. The results show that the two proposed schemes can obtain a lower relay switching rate and longer relay activation time when there is no reduction in the system throughput as compared with the existing schemes.

        Subdivision of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Patients with Bone-Only Metastasis at Diagnosis for Prediction of Survival and Treatment Guidance

        Purpose The purpose of this study was to subdivide M1 stage nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients with bone-only metastases for prognosis prediction while identifying the treatment effect of locoregional radiotherapy (LRRT) and metastasis radiotherapy (MRT) among patients with different risk. Materials and Methods From November 2006 to October 2016, a total of 226 patients with bone-only metastasic NPC were retrospectively enrolled. All patients developed distant lesions before receiving treatment. All potential prognostic factors were considered and the correlation of the M1 subdivisions with overall survival (OS) was determined by Cox regression hazards model. Kaplan-Meier curves were used to appraise survival condition and log-rank testing was used to compare the differences. Results The median follow-up time was 33.9 months (range, 3 to 126 months). According to multivariate Cox proportional hazard analysis, the number of metastatic lesions and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) DNA status after palliative chemotherapy (PCT) were independent prognostic factors for OS. Thus, we subdivided patients into three risk groups according to these two factors. Systemic chemotherapy combined with LRRT may benefit patients in low- and intermediate-risk groups but not in the high-risk group. Further aggressive MRT based on systemic chemotherapy showed no survival benefit in any risk group. Conclusion The stratification of NPC patients with bone-only metastasis based on EBV DNA after PCT and the number of metastatic lesions provided promising prognostic value and could aid clinicians in person-specific treatment.
