A Berry-Esseen type bound of regression estimator based on linear process errors
Han-Ying Liang,Yu-Yu Li 대한수학회 2008 대한수학회지 Vol.45 No.6
Consider the nonparametric regression model Yni = g(xni)+ ∈ni (1 ≤ i ≤ n), where g(·) is an unknown regression function, xni are known fixed design points, and the correlated errors {∈ni, 1 ≤ i ≤ n} have the same distribution as {Vi, 1 ≤ i ≤ n}, here Vt = [수식] with [수식] and {et} are negatively associated random variables. Under appropriate conditions, we derive a Berry-Esseen type bound for the estimator of g(·). As corollary, by choice of the weights, the Berry- Esseen type bound can attain O(n−¹/⁴(log n)³/⁴). Convergence of weighted sums for dependent random variables
Han-Ying Liang,Dong-Xia Zhang,Jong-Il Baek 대한수학회 2004 대한수학회지 Vol.41 No.5
We discuss in this paper the strong convergence for weighted sums of negative associated (in abbreviation: NA) arrays. Meanwhile, the central limit theorem for weighted sums of NA variables and linear process based on NA variables is also considered. As corollary, we get the results on iid of Li et al. ([10]) in NA setting.
A BERRY-ESSEEN TYPE BOUND OF REGRESSION ESTIMATOR BASED ON LINEAR PROCESS ERRORS
Liang, Han-Ying,Li, Yu-Yu Korean Mathematical Society 2008 대한수학회지 Vol.45 No.6
Consider the nonparametric regression model $Y_{ni}\;=\;g(x_{ni})+{\epsilon}_{ni}$ ($1\;{\leq}\;i\;{\leq}\;n$), where g($\cdot$) is an unknown regression function, $x_{ni}$ are known fixed design points, and the correlated errors {${\epsilon}_{ni}$, $1\;{\leq}\;i\;{\leq}\;n$} have the same distribution as {$V_i$, $1\;{\leq}\;i\;{\leq}\;n$}, here $V_t\;=\;{\sum}^{\infty}_{j=-{\infty}}\;{\psi}_je_{t-j}$ with ${\sum}^{\infty}_{j=-{\infty}}\;|{\psi}_j|$ < $\infty$ and {$e_t$} are negatively associated random variables. Under appropriate conditions, we derive a Berry-Esseen type bound for the estimator of g($\cdot$). As corollary, by choice of the weights, the Berry-Esseen type bound can attain O($n^{-1/4}({\log}\;n)^{3/4}$).
ASYMPTOTIC NORMALITY OF WAVELET ESTIMATOR OF REGRESSION FUNCTION UNDER NA ASSUMPTIONS
Liang, Han-Ying,Qi, Yan-Yan Korean Mathematical Society 2007 대한수학회보 Vol.44 No.2
Consider the heteroscedastic regression model $Y_i=g(x_i)+{\sigma}_i\;{\epsilon}_i=(1{\leq}i{\leq}n)$, where ${\sigma}^2_i=f(u_i)$, the design points $(x_i,\;u_i)$ are known and nonrandom, and g and f are unknown functions defined on closed interval [0, 1]. Under the random errors $\epsilon_i$ form a sequence of NA random variables, we study the asymptotic normality of wavelet estimators of g when f is a known or unknown function.

The capacity and equivalent switching frequency of parallel interleaved inverters can be increased, but there are problems with neutral point potential balance and parallel bridge circulating current. This paper regards the parallel three-level inverter as a five-level inverter and five-level space vector integrated modulation is applied. On this basis, a neutral-point potential control strategy based on the mid-point charge to calculate the adjustment factor k is proposed. By further meticulously partitioning specific sector regions, the selection method of redundant vectors in the switching sequence is optimized without increasing the switching times, and the midpoint voltage ripple is reduced. Then, the redundant state allocation in the process of splitting the five-level into three-level is used as a new degree of freedom to suppress the circulating current of the parallel bridge, therefore realizing the control of voltage and current sharing. Finally, simulation and experiments verify the correctness and effectiveness of the method.
Migration and Energy Aware Network Traffic Prediction Method Based on LSTM in NFV Environment
Ying Hu,Liang Zhu,Jianwei Zhang,Zengyu Cai,Jihui Han 한국인터넷정보학회 2023 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.17 No.3
The network function virtualization (NFV) uses virtualization technology to separate software from hardware. One of the most important challenges of NFV is the resource management of virtual network functions (VNFs). According to the dynamic nature of NFV, the resource allocation of VNFs must be changed to adapt to the variations of incoming network traffic. However, the significant delay may be happened because of the reallocation of resources. In order to balance the performance between delay and quality of service, this paper firstly made a compromise between VNF migration and energy consumption. Then, the long short-term memory (LSTM) was utilized to forecast network traffic. Also, the asymmetric loss function for LSTM (LO-LSTM) was proposed to increase the predicted value to a certain extent. Finally, an experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance of LO-LSTM. The results demonstrated that the proposed LO-LSTM can not only reduce migration times, but also make the energy consumption increment within an acceptable range.
Height-thickness ratio on axial behavior of composite wall with truss connector
Ying Qin,Gan-Ping Shu,Xiong-Liang Zhou,Jian-Hong Han,Yun-Fei He 국제구조공학회 2019 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.30 No.4
Double skin composite walls offer structural and economic merits over conventional reinforced concrete counterparts in terms of higher capacity, greater stiffness, and better ductility. This paper investigated the axial behavior of double skin composite walls with steel truss connectors. Full-scaled tests were conducted on three specimens with different height-to-thickness ratios. Test results were evaluated in terms of failure mode, load-axial displacement response, buckling loading, axial stiffness, ductility, strength index, load-lateral deflection, and strain distribution. The test data were compared with AISC 360 and Eurocode 4 and it was found that both codes provided conservative predictions on the safe side.

By applying a magnetic field perpendicular to GaAs/AlGaAs two-dimensional electron systems (2DESs), we study the low-field Landau quantization when the thermal damping is reduced with decreasing temperature. Magneto-oscillations following the Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) formula are observed even when their amplitudes are so large that the deviation to such a formula is expected. Our experimental results show the importance of the positive magneto-resistance to the extension of the SdH formula under the damping induced by the disorder.
Empirical likelihood inference for semiparametric model with linear process errors
Guo-Liang Fan,Han-Ying Liang 한국통계학회 2010 Journal of the Korean Statistical Society Vol.39 No.1
The purpose of this article is to use the empirical likelihood method to study the confidence regions construction for the parameters of interest in semiparametric model with linear process errors under martingale difference. It is shown that the adjusted empirical loglikelihood ratio at the true parameters is asymptotically chi-squared. A simulation study indicates that the adjusted empirical likelihood works better than a normal approximationbased approach.
