Purpose : To help nursing students understand flight nursing by checking the level of awareness of nursing students about flight nurses, and to provide data that is the basis for future nursing education program development. Method : This study is a descriptive research study, and data were collected from April 4 to April 10, 2022 from 214 students from the first to fourth grades of nursing department in Seoul and Gangwon. Results : As a result of analyzing the meaning of nursing students by applying the content analysis method, a total of 5 areas, 20 categories, and 99 meaningful statements were derived. Conclusion : The results of this study will be helpful in understanding the degree of awareness of flight nurses perceived by nursing students, and will serve as basic data for developing and expanding nursing students’ training programs for flight nurses and enhancing the effectiveness of education.
Vol.2022 No.2
Types of Parenting of Fathers during Early Childhood: A Q Methodological Approach
박선정,Eun-Young Choi,Ga-Yeon Ko,Bock-Soon Park,Byung-Jun Park 한국아동간호학회 2019 Child Health Nursing Research Vol.25 No.3
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine types of parenting among fathers. The characteristics of parenting each type in early childhood were identified by systematically analyzing and classifying father’s perceptions of parenting using the Q-methodology, which places importance on the perspective of the performer. Methods: The Q-method, which is effective for measuring individual subjectivity was used. The subjects in this study were 50 fathers with young children (2~36 months). Results: Four parenting types were identified analyzing the subjective perceptions of fathers with young children about parenting. One type was centered on character development. Another was centered on social development. A third was centered on physical health and development. The fourth was centered on building values. Conclusion: Parenting education programs should be developed based on type-specific characteristics and further research should investigate the effects of father’s parenting type.

Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common inflammatory skin disease characterized by a complex, heterogeneous pathogenesis including skin barrier dysfunction, immunology, and pruritus. Although epidermal growth factor (EGF) is essential for epithelial homeostasis and wound healing, the effect of EGF on AD remains to be explored. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of EGF on AD and propose a mechanism by which EGF regulate allergic inflammation using the mouse model. Methods: In total, 40 male NC/Nga mice were randomly divided into 5 groups of 8 mice each: healthy control, AD-induced control, AD-induced treated with 0.1% protopic, 1ppm EGF and 2ppm EGF respectively. AD-like skin lesions were induced by 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB). Protopic and EGF was applied once a day for 2 weeks. Visual examination, skin biopsy, special staining, immunohistochemistry, immunoblot and RT- PCR were performed to evaluate the effect of EGF in each group. Results: EGF treatment improved ear thickness, epidermal hyperplasia, mast cell infiltration, serum total immunoglobulin E level, and transepidermal water loss in NC/Nga mice with DCNB-induced AD. In addition, levels of skin barrier-related proteins were increased by EGF treatment. Conclusion: The results of our study suggest that EGF may potentially protect against AD lesional skin via regulation of skin barrier function and immune response.
