This paper proposes a new BIC(Built-in Current sensor) for the internal current test in CMOS logic circuits. Our BIC is composed of current sensor, level shifter, comparator, and reference voltage circuit. The current sensor parallel connected with one diode and one nMOS device can convert the current of CUT(Circuit Under Test) to voltage. A single phase clock is employed in the BIC reduce the control circuitry of it and to perform a self-testing for a faulty current. The proposed BIC is verified by using the HSPICE simulator and fabricated in 0.8 ㎛ twin-tub process. The CUT is 4 bit full adder with bridging faults. The realized BIC successfully detects all bridging faults in CUT.
TEM investigation of hydrogen-implanted and annealed single-crystal SrTiO3

In this study, the structural properties of single-crystal SrTiO3 implanted with H+ have been investigated by transmission electronmicrocopy (TEM). The investigation was carried out on an as-implanted sample and samples after annealing at 500.C and 700 .Cfrom the implanted energy similar to the process in the case of silicon. The as-implanted sample shows large out-of-plane strain alsosimilar to the report in silicon. The microcavities are lled with amorphous material as the result of complicated interaction of the defectsduring the annealing.

The objective of this study was to characterize the litter sizes in Huanghuai goats with high prolificacy (HP, five or more kids born per litter on at least one occasion), and to compare their peripheral blood concentrations of progesterone and estradiol with those of goats with poor prolificacy (PP, up to three kids born per litter on any occasion). The circulating concentrations of progesterone and estradiol were measured by radioimmunoassay from daily blood samples taken during natural estrus cycles and at 1-5 days after ovariectomy. Estrus was synchronized using two doses of a prostaglandin analog. Litter size for the HP goats increased up to a parity of five and decreased thereafter. The percentage of goats with litter sizes of $\geq$4 from parities 3 to 6 ranged from 44.5% to 58.3%. Although small differences in litter size were obtained for goats of parities three, four and six relative to five, parity five does had the highest mean litter size. Progesterone concentrations began to rise earlier and were higher in the HP than in the PP goats on most days of the luteal phase, but not during the follicular phase of the cycle or after ovariectomy. There was a significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05) in the magnitude of the progesterone plateau. Mean estradiol concentrations in the HP group remained significantly higher than in the PP group (p<0.05) during the estrus cycle. There were two estradiol peaks in the HP goats during the early luteal phase, but only one in the PP group. Measurements of individual corpora lutea (CL) in vitro showed that there was a greater prevalence of small CL (<6 mm in diameter) in the HP group than in the PP group (p<0.05). After ovariectomy, the estradiol level on day 1 was significantly higher than at the nadir during the estrus cycle in both the HP (p<0.01) and PP (p<0.05) goats, while levels decreased by 12.3% and 26.2% respectively compared with the mid-luteal period in HP and PP goats (p<0.05). The overall mean estradiol concentrations in HP goats were lower than in the PP group, but no significant differences were found between groups at 1-5 days after ovariectomy.

This paper is concerned with analyzing the role of Northeast Asia intercity networks in Northeast Asia in creating regional networks. For the purpose of this paper, we have followed Choe`s (1996) definition of Northeast Asia which includes the Russian Far East, the Northeast region of China, South Korea, North Korea and Japan. The central hypothesis of the paper is that the geopolitical conditions of Northeast Asia compared for example with Southeast Asia, favor bilateral rather than multilateral linkages between nation states. In these circumstances, it is our hypothesis that cities will play an important role in developing a "local image" of regio-nalism and intercity networks. In order to analyze this hypothesis, the paper is divided into three parts. Part A analyzes the emerging urban system of the Northeast Asia region using Choe`s concept of the BESETO corridor and updating his data from the late 1980s to the mid 1990s just prior to the financial crisis. This analysis is further supported by the analysis of economic and transportation linkages within the urban system of the region with some discussion of emerging urban nodes. Part B looks at the specific case studies of the region including the Bohai Sea region, the Japan Sea and case studies of Sapporo, Pusan and Shandong province cities. Part C summarizes this preceding analysis and argues that the development of regionalism and servicing urban nodes is more likely to emerge from a myriad of linkages developed between the regions cities than from a supra-regional role of nation states. This finding has important implications for regional policy formation suggesting that there should be considerate national support for international linkages between cities.
Insulation design of HTS transformer with the use of continuous transposed conductor

Important key technologies of a high-temperature superconducting (HTS) transformer may include the HTS wire technology, cooling, AC loss reduction, large current technology, and cryogenic temperature insulation. Among them, the cryogenic temperature insulation technology will be specifically a core technology for ensuring reliability for the smaller size, stability, economic efficiency of a HTS transformer. In this paper, we have simulated a HTS transformer applied with continuous transposed conductor, which has been studied as a way of reducing AC loss. Also, we analyzed the insulation composition and considered various characteristics of insulation breakdown in liquid nitrogen. Insulation design was realized in a way of calculating breakdown voltage of 0.1% with Weibull statistical treatment of the obtained experimental results and calculating insulation distance meeting basic impulse insulation level (BIL) 750kV, a target voltage.
