Davarpanah, Seyed Mohammad,Omidvar, Mohsen Erfanian,Moradi, Hamid Reza The Kangwon-Kyungki Mathematical Society 2018 한국수학논문집 Vol.26 No.4
In this paper, we extend the concept of double centralizer to triple centralizer and we show that, the triple centralizer is a $C^*$-algebra. Some algebraic properties are investigated.
Intelligent Precision Improvement on Robot Assisted Minimally Invasive Direct Coronary Artery Bypass
Hossein Davarpanah,Farzin Piltan,Somayeh Jowkar,Mohammad Beheshti,Saman Rahbar 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Bio-Science and Bio-Techn Vol.7 No.3
Robot-assisted MIDCAB and Endoscopic coronary artery bypass (TECAB) operations are being performed with the DaVinci system. In this paper, we propose an adaptive feedback linearization control scheme (AFC) for continuous-time,multiple input-multipleoutput (MIMO) linear time-varying uncertain robotic system. The AFC consists of a fuzzy controller with adaptivemechanism to reconstruct the system states using the trackingerror and to make the state error reach the equilibrium point ina finite time period quickly. The sliding surface is first employedto represent the state error to reach the equilibrium point ina finite time period using adaptive theory. Then, a fuzzy controller usingsliding surface is developed to achieve the feedback linearization control performanceand the state tracking errors performance quickly. The reachingmode of the uncertain system using the proposed fuzzy sliding surface adaptive feedback linearization controller is guaranteed. Moreover, thechatteringaround the slidingsurface for the proposedcontrolcan bereduced. This method has an acceptable accuracy regarding to three nonlinear method; sliding surface technique, fuzzy logic and feedback linearization method. Therefore it can guarantee the performance of multi degrees of freedom joint in robot-assisted MIDCAB.

Polystyrene resin was functionalized by diethanolamine for the efficient removal of p-toluenesulfonicacid (p-TSA) from aqueous solution. Functionalized adsorbent (DEA-PS) was characterized by elementalanalysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, point of zero charge measurement and field-emissionscanning electron microscopy. According to the results, maximum removal of p-TSA was observed at thepH range of 2.5–5. The adsorption kinetics of p-TSA onto DEA-PS was represented by pseudo-first-ordermodel and the equilibrium data followed Langmuir model well. The adsorption process wasendothermic and spontaneous, along with the positive change of entropy. The regeneration of DEAPSwas also conducted by 1 M NaOH solution.
Stable expression of a fungal laccase protein using transplastomic tobacco

Laccase catalyzes the oxidation of various phenolic compounds that can be used in a wide range of industrial applications such as waste detoxification and the textile industry. In the present study, we generated transplastomic tobacco plants to develop a reliable commercial source of laccase production. The stability of the laccase protein in the transgenic plants was increased by using the enhancer sequence from green fluorescent protein, resulting in three independent lines with high levels of laccase accumulation (up to 2 % of total protein); significant laccase activity, however, was not detected. Interestingly, the transplastomic lines showed slightly retarded vegetative growth, with a light green leaf color in comparison with the control, which may be attributable to copper deficiency induced by ligand chelation by abundantly produced laccase. These results suggest that the tobacco chloroplast is an efficient system for the mass production of laccase protein, but further studies are needed to obtain active enzyme.
Stable Plastid Transformation in Nicotiana benthamiana
Seyed Javad Davarpanah,정서희,Yaw Joo Kim,박연일,민성란,유장렬,정원중 한국식물학회 2009 Journal of Plant Biology Vol.52 No.3
Plastids from Nicotiana benthamiana were transformed with the vector for dicistronic expression of two genes—aminoglycoside 3'-adenyltransferase (aadA) and green fluorescent protein (gfp)—in the plastids of Nicotiana tabacum. Transplastomic shoots exhibited green fluorescence under UV light. Transformation efficiencies were similar between species. Although the border sequence (trnI and trnA) for homologous recombination to transform the plastid genome of N. benthamiana was identical to that sequence of N. tabacum, the exception was a 9-bp addition in the intron of trnI. This indicated that the N. tabacum sequence used as a border region for recombination was sufficient to insert the foreign gene into the target site between the trnI and trnA of N. benthamiana with similar efficiency. Southern blot analysis detected the presence of aadA and gfp between trnI and trnA in the plastid genome of N. benthamiana. Northern and western blot analyses revealed high expression of gfp in the plastids from petals and leaves. Our results suggest that the plastid transformation system established here is applicable to investigations of the interactions between plastid and nucleus in N. benthamiana.
An episomal vector system for plastid transformation in higher plants
민성란,Seyed Javad Davarpanah,정서희,박연일,유장렬,정원중 한국식물생명공학회 2015 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.9 No.6
We developed a new plastid transformation vector system using the putative replication origin of a minicircular chromosome from the marine dinoflagellate Heterocapsa triquetra. Transplastomic tobacco plants generated with this vector properly expressed the green fluorescent protein (GFP) gene without incorporating it into the plastid genome. To construct the episomal vector, a 610-bp DNA fragment containing the putative replication origin was fused to a dicistronic expression cassette encoding the aminoglycoside 3’-adenyltransferase (aadA) and gfp genes under control of the plastid rrn promoter. The vector was delivered to plastids of tobacco leaf explants by biolistic bombardment. After 8 weeks of bombardment, episomal transformant shoots were generated from leaf explants cultured on selection media containing 500 mg/L spectinomycin. Fluorescence microscopy and northern blot analysis demonstrated GFP expression in episomal transformant plants. PCR, Southern blot analysis, recovery of episomes, and sequencing analysis showed the vector to be maintained as self-replicating extrachromosomal circular DNA molecules for at least 6 months. Using a single construct for all plants, our episomal vector system may offer an advantage over the conventional plastid vector systems, which require species-specific constructs.
형질전환 토마토에서 Cytosine Methylation에 의한 유전자발현 억제
정원중,정서희,민성란,이수영,박지영,S Javad Davarpanah,정화지,전재흥,유장렬 한국식물생명공학회 2007 JOURNAL OF PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY Vol.34 No.4
Transgene expression was analyzed in tomato plants. Four lines of neomycin phosphotransferase II gene (NPTII) and the trehalose biosynthetic fusion gene (TPSP) transformed T0 plants showed kanamycin resistance on selection medium. However, the analysis of phenotype (kanamycin resistance) and mRNA expression in T1 plants indicated that the expression of the NPTII and TPSP transgenes was down-regulated to an undetectable level in two independent lines 1 and 11. Southern analysis demonstrated that the lines 1 and 11 had multicopies of the transgenes, whereas the typical transgenic lines 2 and 10 had 1 or 2 copies. DNA methylation analysis using methylation sensitive enzyme detected accumulated CpG DNA methylation on TPSP coding region and CaMV35S promoter region in the line 11, but not the typical transgenic line 2. These results suggest that multicopy transgene in plants is attributed to down-regulation of the transgene expression via transcriptional gene silencing.
