      • Decision-making Method in Emergency Rescue Based on Cloud Model

Dan ZHOU,An CHEN 위기관리 이론과 실천 2016 위기관리 이론과 실천 세미나발표논문집 Vol.2016 No.-

Emergency incident makes a high request for timeliness of emergency rescue. How to make scientific and reasonable schemes and reduce the influence of subjectivity is the key to rescue in order. According to situations in disaster, three issues of environmental limits, objective attributes and subjective judgments need to consider in decision-making. A method combing cloud model and interval number was put forward. An optimal scheme was obtained by comparing the rescue scheme evaluation cloud with the standard cloud. The results showed that the cloud model decision-making method can overcome the subjectivity of decision and the conclusion was clear and easy to sort. With this method the decision scheme can be more direct and vivid.

A Novel Role of Hyaluronic Acid and Proteoglycan Link Protein 1 (HAPLN1) in Delaying Vascular Endothelial Cell Senescence

        Zhou Dan,Jang Ji Min,Yang Goowon,Ha Hae Chan,Fu Zhicheng,Kim Dae Kyong 한국응용약물학회 2023 Biomolecules & Therapeutics(구 응용약물학회지) Vol.31 No.6

Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the most common cardiovascular system disorders. Cellular senescence is a key mechanism associated with dysfunction of aged vascular endothelium. Hyaluronic acid and proteoglycan link protein 1 (HAPLN1) has been known to non-covalently link hyaluronic acid (HA) and proteoglycans (PGs), and forms and stabilizes HAPLN1-containing aggregates as a major component of extracellular matrix. Our previous study showed that serum levels of HAPLN1 decrease with aging. Here, we found that the HAPLN1 gene expression was reduced in senescent human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Moreover, a recombinant human HAPLN1 (rhHAPLN1) decreased the activity of senescence-associated β-gal and inhibited the production of senescence-associated secretory phenotypes, including IL-1β, CCL2, and IL-6. rhHAPLN1 also downregulated IL-17A levels, which is known to play a key role in vascular endothelial senescence. In addition, rhHAPLN1 protected senescent HUVECs from oxidative stress by reducing cellular reactive oxygen species levels, thus promoting the function and survival of HUVECs and leading to cellular proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. We also found that rhHAPLN1 not only increases the sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) levels, but also reduces the cellular senescence markers levels, such as p53, p21, and p16. Taken together, our data indicate that rhHAPLN1 delays or inhibits the endothelial senescence induced by various aging factors, such as replicative, IL-17A, and oxidative stress-induced senescence, thus suggesting that rhHAPLN1 may be a promising therapeutic for CVD and atherosclerosis.

      • Homicidal Poisoning of Heroin and Estazolam : Autopsy and Pathological Findings, Toxicological Analysis

        Dan Liu,Shangxun Li,Xiangtao Ma,Jinxue Gao,Liang Xu,Jun He,Yuhong Li,Dan Yan,Yiwu Zhou,Qingming Wu 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.4

We reported an unusual homicidal case in which a 40-year-old woman was deceived into drinking a cup of milk that had 72 tablets of estazolam (2mg/tablet) dissolved in, and then being injected heroin aqueous solution on the right deltoid region by the criminal. At autopsy, pinpoint pupils and a new injection site on the right deltoid region were found. The pathologic pictures showed multiple patchy hemorrhages and considerable amounts of foreign amorphous substance with yellow appearance at the injection site. Some double refracting crystals with the forms of Maltese cross, acicular, rhomb or irregular were found by polarizing microscope, which may result from the diluent in heroin such as starch. Toxicological qualitative analysis by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) demonstrated the presence of benzodiazepine and morphine in blood and urine, and heroin in the injector left at scene. Quantitative analysis was also performed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), providing the data on distribution of 6-monoacetylmorphine, morphine and estazolam in the woman’s body. And the cause of death was determined to polydrug heroin-related deaths due to the combined poisoning of heroin and estazolam. It taught a lesson that the determination of other drugs, particularly central nervous system depressants in heroin poisoning were quite important in forensic expertise.

Nondestructive Surface Threshold Definition for Remanufacturing Disassembly of Interference Fit

        Dan Zhou,Sen Lan,Xin Gao,Haihong Huang,Guang-Fu Liu 한국정밀공학회 2018 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.19 No.11

The disassembly of interference fit is a difficult process for remanufacturing engineering, which frequently causes multiple types of friction damage, such as scratches, furrow, and adhesion on the surface of parts. The form and size of surface damage directly affect the cost of remanufacturing repair. If the damage is less than a threshold, the part can be directly used for assembly without repairing. This condition represents a nondestructive disassembly, which is the goal of remanufacturing disassembly for interference fit. In this study, varying degrees of disassembly surface damage of interference fit are obtained by experiment and detected by TRIMOS-CL3 3D surface profilometer. Six surface evaluation parameters Sv, Sp, Sq, Str, Vmp, and Sa, are selected from ISO 25178 as indexes for entropy analysis to evaluate the damage comprehensively. According to the interface state, a comprehensive evaluation threshold of nondestructive disassembly is proposed. The rationality of the threshold is verified by the load-carrying capacity experiment of the interference fit.

Impact of Cu2O doping on high dielectric properties of CuO ceramics

        Dan-Dan Wang,Feng-Zi Zhou,Jing-Xiao Cao,Li-Ben Li,Guo-Ling Li 한국물리학회 2017 Current Applied Physics Vol.17 No.5

Single-phase CuO ceramic samples were prepared with the starting nano powders of CuO þ xCu2O (x ¼ 0, 1, 3, 7% in mole ratio) via solid state reaction method, and characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman scattering and scanning electron microscopy. For all the samples, the temperature dependences of dielectric constants and losses were measured at the frequencies of 102, 103, 104, 105 and 106 Hz, respectively. With increasing doping content of Cu2O, a strong correlation is demonstrated at given temperature and frequency between the measured dielectric constants and the unit-cell volumes of CuO. The strong correlation is argued in terms of the change in densities of Cu]O defects (e.g. Cu/O vacancies and/or interstitial Cu impurities) due to Cu2O doping, which is supported by the formation energies of Cu]O defects and the corresponding unit-cell volume from first-principles calculations. The high dielectric constant (~103e105) of CuO ceramic is therefore attributed to the reduction in resistance due to Cu/O defects in the grain by Maxwell-Wagner mechanism.

GPR78 promotes lung cancer cell migration and metastasis by activation of Gαq-Rho GTPase pathway

        ( Dan-dan Dong ),( Hui Zhou ),( Gao Li ) 생화학분자생물학회(구 한국생화학분자생물학회) 2016 BMB Reports Vol.49 No.11

GPR78 is an orphan G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) that is predominantly expressed in human brain tissues. Currently, the function of GPR78 is unknown. This study revealed that GPR78 was expressed in lung cancer cells and functioned as a novel regulator of lung cancer cell migration and metastasis. We found that knockdown of GPR78 in lung cancer cells suppressed cell migration. Moreover, GPR78 modulated the formation of actin stress fibers in A549 cells, in a RhoA- and Rac1-dependent manner. At the molecular level, GPR78 regulated cell motility through the activation of Gαq-RhoA/ Rac1 pathway. We further demonstrated that in vivo, the knockdown of GPR78 inhibited lung cancer cell metastasis. These findings suggest that GPR78 is a novel regulator for lung cancer metastasis and may serve as a potential drug target against metastatic human lung cancer. [BMB Reports 2016; 49(11): 623-628]

The K&Q Effect and Optimization Theory in Emergency Rescue

Dan Zhou,An Chen 위기관리 이론과 실천 2016 Journal of Safety and Crisis Management Vol.6 No.2

“Effects” in the fields of academics, business and social life reflect their inherent laws. A new concept of “the K&Q Effect” is proposed. The K&Q Effect is a phenomenon with causal relationship which gives up the less valuable parts and obtains the more valuable parts to achieve holistic goals by comparing and evaluating comprehensively, limited by time, resources and capacity. The K&Q Effect rooted in Chinese chess and exists in game theory, trade war tactics, elections and management decision-making nowadays. However, the K&Q Effect is more obvious and complicated in emergency management. This paper introduces the sources of the K&Q Effect as well as its definition and essence. The existence of the K&Q Effect in emergency rescue is demonstrated and the possibility to achieve its optimization is discussed.
