In this study, the behavior of water or nanofluid droplets impacting upon a hot surface was investigated by visualization of impacting phenomena with time-delayed photographic technique. Changing the mass ratio of nanofluid and the temperature of the heated surface, the characteristics of the spreading behavior and the diameter of spreading liquid film was compared between water and nanofluid droplets. The impacting droplet spreaded as a liquid film after impact and nanofluid droplets spreaded more widely than water droplets. After reaching the maximum diameter, water droplets shrinked more than nanof- luid droplets. Based on this, the heat transfer area from a hot surface to impacting nanofluid droplets would be wider than that of impacting water droplets. Considering individual impacting droplet only, spray cooling using nanofluid would be better than using water.

60 Patients of the congenital anomalies of the hand were operated at the Dept. of Plastic surgery in Kyung Hee Medical Center during the last 9 years from Oct., 1972 to Sept., 1980. These patients were clinically reviewed and the results were as follows : 1. Male was more frequent than female, of the ratio in 1. 3 : 1. 2. The most common type of hand anomalies was polydactyly, and the incidence of each anomalies was as follows : polydactyly in 23 cases (38.3%), Trigger finger in 17 cases(28.3%), syndactyly in 16 cases(26.6%), Cleft hand in 1 case (1.6%), Floating thumb in 1 case (1.6%), Ring constriction band in 2 cases(3.2%). 3. Radial side extra thumb was the most common form of the polydactly and the left, of the ratio in 2. 3 : 1. The unilateral polydactyly was also more frequent than the bilateral, of the ratio in 6. 6 : 1. The most frequent type of polydactyly the duplicated distal phalangeal type. 4. In syndactyly, the left syndactyly was more frequent than the right, of the ratio in 1. 7 : 1 and the incidence of unilateral and bilateral syndactyly was not different. The most common affected site of syndactyly was 3rd web spaces, The most common type of syndactyly was single partial simple. 5. Average age of the time of operation was 4. 5 years old in polydactyly, 10. 9 years old in syndactyly. 6. Postoperative results were favorable as follows : 87.0% in polydactyly, 90.5% in syndactyly.
From Compliance to Context - Advancing Assistive Technology Capabilities for Medication Management
CD Nugent,P Fiorini,DD Finlay,RJ Davies,MD Mulvenna,ND Black 한국과학기술원 인간친화 복지 로봇 시스템 연구센터 2005 International Journal of Assistive Robotics and Me Vol.6 No.4
It is a well known fact that patients do not always comply with their prescribed medication regimes. This may be partly attributed to the complexity surrounding the compliance issue itself. Issues relating to compliance involve a number of stakeholders in the supply-to-intake chain of medication and in addition are complicated further by the manner in which the medication is prescribed, delivered and taken. This paper presents an innovative electromechanical compliance aid which can be used within a person"s home and can be monitored remotely via Internet based technologies. The technology developed has been evaluated in 4 pilot sites and initial results have shown its usage to improve patient compliance levels and also to reduce the workload of stakeholders involved in home based support of medication management. The paper concludes with a vision of consolidating the proposed technical solution with advances in context prediction to further improve home based medication management services.

저자들은 1993년 3월 29세 초산부에서 자궁내 태아사망을 초래한 제대협착 1례를 경험하였 기에 문헌적 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Umbilical cord structure is a very rare complications of cord abnormalitis. An extreme focal deficieney in whartons jelly, torsion external circumferrential pressure, excessive fetal motion, and postmortem artifact due to autolysis beginning at the fetal end of the cord were suggested as underlying causes predisposing the the cord stricture. We were experienced one case of the intrauterine fetal death secondary to stricture of the umbilical cord in a 29-years primigravida, and this case was presented with brief review of the literatures.
