      • 濟州道 食品 수요豫測을 위한 調査硏究

        In this survey we tried to find out how habit, income, and the price of foodstuffs affected the eating habits of the people in Je Ju Do so that the most economical and efficient plan of foodstuffs distribution could be carried out. The results are as follows : 1) The rate of consumption of several foodstuffs (banana, dried persimon, canned fish, canned meat etc. ) decreased markedly when their price doubled. But the rate of consumption of other foodstuffs (soy sauce, bean paste, hot bean paste etc. ) only decreased slightly when their price doubled. 2) when we asked what foodstuffs the people would eat if their food budget was increased 50%, the highest percentage responded that they would eat more rice cakes. Others mentioned rice, barley, wheat flaur, broad, apple, mandarin oranges, pears, eggs, milk, etc. But the increase of these foodstuffs was only slight. The consumption of wine was reduced. 3) The frequency of consumption for some foodstuffs was small while for others it was large.

      • Broiler생산에 있어서 Energy와 Protein 要求量 決定에 관한 硏究(第1報) : 同一 CP 比率에서의 Energy와 Protein 水準이 Broiler生産에 미치는 效果 Effect of Energy and Level with the Iso Calorie-Protein Ratio on Broiler Production

        부로일라 생산에 있어서 에너지와 蛋白質水準을 왕겨로 대치하여 저하시키고 에너지와 단백질비율(C/P 比率)은 일정하게 유지했을 때 부로일라의 增體量, 飼料要求率, 에너지및 蛋白質 效率을 검토하기 위하여 Abacre육용 부로일라 종 200수로서 本 試驗을 實施하였는데 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 부로일라 後期에 있어서 증체량은 A,B,C구가 各各 375.5g, 375.5g, 374.7g이고 D,E구가 333.4g, 302.6g으로 D,E구는 A,B,C구에 비해 유의적으로 (p<0.05) 증체량이 낮았으나 A,B,C구간에는 아무 차이가 없었다. 2, 飼料攝取率은 후기에 있어 B,C구는 A구에 比하여 有意的으로 (p<0.05) 섭취량이 높았으며 D,E구는 A,B,C 5구에 比하여 훨씬 많이 (p<0.05) 섭취하였다. 飼料要求量은 전기에는 各處理間別 差異가 없었으나 후기에는 D,E區가 3.1과 3.5로서 A,B,C구의 2.4∼2.5에 비하여 유의적으로 (p<0.05) 높았다. 3. 단위체중 증가당 에너지 要求量은 前期에 있어서는 에너지와 蛋白質水準이 낮은 區일수록 낮았으나 後期에 있어서는 前期와 相反된 傾向이었다. 蛋白質效率도 前期에는 A區의 2.41에 比하여 E區는 2.81로서 蛋白質水準이 낮을수록 높은 傾向이 었으나 後期에 있어서는 前期와 反對의 傾向이었다. The experiment was conducted to study the effect of energy and protein level with the same calorie-protein ratio of replaced rice hull on the weight gain, feed requirement, energy and protein efficiency ratio with 200 chicks of Abacre strain. The treatments consisted of control (A), Co?rice hull 5% (B), Co?rice hull 10% (C), Co?rice hull 15% (D) and Co?rice hull 20% (E). The results obteined are summarized as follows. 1. The body weight gain of D and E group was significantly lower (P<0.05) than that of A,B and C groups. However, no significant difference was convinced between weight gain of A,B and C groups, 2. The chicks of B and C group consumed significantly more feed (P<0.05)than those of A group where the feed consumption of D and E group was significantly (P<0.05) than that of A, B and C group during finisher period. No statistical difference of feed requirement during starter period was convinced between treatment, however and feed requirement of D,E groups was significantly (P<0.05) higher than that of A,B,C groups. 3. Energy requirement per 1kg weight gain during starter period decreased as the energy and protein level decreased, however and the results was on the contrary during finisher period. Protein efficiecy ratio (PER) increased as the calorie and protein level decreased during starter period and the lower PER was found for groups of lower calorie and protein levels during finisher period.

      • 전복의 근육단백질에 관한 연구

        Protein composition and Sugar qualitative tests were carried out for the selected 4 species of Abalone(Haliotis gigantea GMELIN, Haliotis sieboldii REEVE, Haliotis discus REEVE, Haliotis discus Hannai INO), the results are Summarized as follows : 1. The differences of moisture and fat contents among species were not significantly recognized, but the differences among body parts of an individual were shown. 2. The contents of the total nitrogen was differ also to body parts, but the protein nitrogen was much more in contents than non protein nitrogen. 3. Concerning the protein composition of Abalone muscle, it was analized that the sarcoplasmic protein be 6-28%, the myofibrillar protein 19-38%, the residual intracellular protein 1.5-8%, and stroma 30-70%. 4. The Sugar qualitative test reveals that abalone muscle contains a lot of free sugar and amino-Sugar.

      • 組大豆 Lecithin의 飼料化에 관한 硏究

        The Research was conducted to study the feeding value of crude lecithin produced as by product of soybean oil manufacturing. The results obtined were as follows. 1. The chemical composition, mineral composition vitamin contents, gross energy and metabolizable energy values of crude lecithin were determined. 2. No significant difference was observed for the body weight gain of chicks between control and lecithin groups of 3%, 6%,9% and 12% addition. 3. Significant difference(p<0.05) was observed for feed intake between lecithin 12% and lecithin 6% and 9% group. However, No significant difference was found among control, lecithin 3%.6% and 9% groups. 4. No difference was found for feed requirement between treatments. However, the lowest figure was 2.32 for lecithin 9% treatment, followed by 2.40 of lecithin 6% and 2.41 of lecithin 3%, orderly. 5. No difference was found between treatments for RBC, WBC, hemoglobin and hematocrit value. 6. The composition of moisture, crude protein and ether extract of chicks ranged from 71.2 to 72.15%, from 15.93 to 16.45%, and from 6.19 to 7.05%, respectively. 7. The weight of abdominal fat and liver fat of chicks ranged from 42.4 to 63.7gm. and from 2.2 to 2.4gm, respectively, showing insignificant difference. 8. Total of 9 feed manufacturers used lecithin as energy source for poultry ration and each manufacturer employed somewhat different mixing method. 9. The patented bleaching reagents of crude lecithin were hydrogen peroxide and dibenzoyl peroxide. The bleaching facilities of crude lecithin with the capacity of 2M/T per day was calculated to amount to 3,650,000won.

        모터구동 밸브 주기적 안전성 확인을 위한 중요도 분류

        Safety-related motor operated valve(MOV) safety significance for Ulchin Unit 3 was categorized. The safety evaluation of MOV of domestic power plants affects the generic data used for the quantification of MOV common cause failure(CCF) events in Ulchin Units 3&4 PSA> Therefore, in this paper, MGL(multiple greek letter) parameter β, used for the evaluation of MOV CCF probabilities in Ulchin Units 3&4 probabilistic safety assessment(PSA), was re-estimated and the MOV safety significance was categorized. The re-estimation results of MGL parameter show that the value of(is decreased by 30% compared with the current value used in Ulchin Unit 3&4 PSA. The categorization results of MOV safety significance using the changed value of MGL parameter(show that the number of HSSCs(high safety significant components) is decreased by 54.5% compared with those using the current value of it used in Ulchin Units 3&4 PSA>

      • In vitro 方法에 의한 尿素 分解 速度에 관한 硏究

        反芻 家畜의 蛋白質 代用 飼料인 尿素의 分解 速度를 Jackbean urease와 人工 反芻胃內醱酵에 의하여 測定하였으며 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. Lineweaver-Burk의 方法으로 測定한 Jackbean urease의 Michaelis 상수(Km)는 ?? mole이었으며 最大 速度(V??)는 1.52μmol/ml/min였다. 2. phosphate buffer에서 urease로 培養했을 때 尿素態 窒素로 부터 NH₃-N의 放出速度는培養 10分에 30.2%, 20分에 66.4%, 30分에 87.2%, 60分에 93.6%, 120分에 95.6%였다. 3. 人工 反芻胃 醱酵法에 의한 尿素로 부터의 NH₃-N의 放出速度는 Jackbean urease에 의한 速度보다 낮았으며 NH₃-N의 濃度는 培養後 1時間에 最高에 到達하였다. 尿素 分解에 最的 pH는 7이었으며 pH5 일때는 尿素의 分解量이 10~20%에 불과하였다. 4. 人工反芻胃 方법에 의한 培養시 에너지源으로서 cellulose를 使用했을때가 glucose보다 NH₃-N의 濃度가 높았으나 에너지원의 量에 의하여는 NH₃-N의 濃度에 別差異가 없었다. The rate of urea degradation was measured by Jackbean urease and rumen fermentation and the following results were obtained. 1. Michaelis constant(Km) value of ?? mole and the maximum velocity ?? of Jackbean Urease solution of 1.52μmol/min was obtained by the double reciprocal plot of Lineweaver and Burk. 2. The rate of NH₃-N release from urea-N in a buffered urease solution were approximately 30.2%, 66.4%, 87.2%, and 95.6% at 10, 20, 30 and 60 min utes of the incubation time, respectively. 3. Release of NH₃-N from urea by rumen fermentation was lower than that by Jackbean urease. The concentration of NH₃-N reached peak at 1 hour of incubation and the optimum pH for urea-N was released as NH₃-N. 4. The concentration of NH₃-N from urea was higher for cellulose than glucose when it was used as energy feed in rumen fermentation. However no great difference of NH₃-N concentration was observed when the different amount of energy feed were used.

        항균성 펩타이드인 Mastoparan B의 살조효과

        Mastoparan B (MPB)는 벌독으로부터 정제된 양친매성α-helical 구조를 취하면서 14개의 아미노산 잔기로 구성된 염기성 항균성 펩타이드로서 여러 가지 생물막과 작용한다. 본 연구에서는 우리 나라 연안의 적조 (HABs, harmful algal blooms)를 일으키는 4종의 적조생물 (Alexandrium tamarense, Chattonella catenatum)에 대한 MPB의 살조효과를 조사하였다. MPB의 4종의 적조생물에 대한 살조효과는 31.3㎍/㎖에서 세포의 lysis또는 ecdysis와 같은 형태로 현미경으로 관찰할 수 있었다. 또한 MPB는 C. marina 및 C. polykridorides에 대해서 A. tamarense와 G. catenatum보다 더욱 강한 살조효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 MPB의 HABs에 대한 살조효과연구는 새로운 살조물질을 개발하기 위한 자료가 될 것으로 생각된다. Mastoparan B (MPB), an antimicrobial cationic peptide isolated from the venom of the hornet Vespa basalis, is a basic amphipathic a-helical peptide composed of fourteen amino acid residues. In this study, we have investigated the algicidal effect of MPB against hatmful algae blooms (HABs) casative Alexandrium tamarense, Chattonella marina, Cochlodinium polykrikoides and Gymnodinium catenatum. The algicidal effect of MPB showed in the concentration of 31.3 ㎍/㎖ to 500 ㎍/㎖ against 4 HAB species and observed cell lysis or cell ecdysis by microscopy. MPB reacted more sensitive to C. marina and C.polykrikoides than A. tamarense and G. catenatum. The algicidal study of MPB against HABs will provides much insight into development of new algicidal substances.

      • Broiler生産에 있어서 Energy와 Protein 要求量決定에 관한 硏究(第三報) : Iso-protein水準에서 Energy水準이 Broiler生産에 미치는 영향 Effect of Iso-protein and Different Energy Level on Broiler Production

        The experiment was conducted to study the effect of different energy level on weight gain, feed intake, the efficiency of feed, energy and protein with 200 birds of Abor Acre male broiler chicks for 8 weeks. In order to decrease the energy level, the basal diet was replaced by soybean meal-rice hull mixture by the ratio of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The results obtained were as follows. 1. The weekly body weight gain was reduced from 182.5gm. for control diet(3200 Kcal) to 170.8gm. for Diet B (2780 Kcal) in starter period and from 375.5gm. for control to 345.2gm. for Diet C (2620 Kcal) in finisher period. 2. The weekly feed intake for control, Diet C, A, D and B in starter period were 315, 311, 307, 298 and 275gm. in order and the intake for Diet C, B, A, D and control in finisher period were 1029, 1024, 983, 943 and 890gm., respectively. 3. The feed conversion ratio had a increasing tendency for the diet including higher ratio of soybean meal-rice hull mixture. 4. As the energy level of diet decreased, the energy efficiency ratio tended to increase in starter period and had no regular tendency in finisher period. 5. The decreased energy level of diets had a tendency to decrease the protein efficiency ratio except for Diet A in starter period and in finisher period concurrently.

      • 자궁내막증의 임상적 고찰

        Objective : Between 1991 and 1993 data were collected to evaluate risk factors for endometriosis. Design : A case-control study was conducted on 54 cases with laparotomically confirmed pelvic endometriosis consecutively admitted to CNUH. The control group consisted of 60 women admitted to hospital for benigh gynecologic disease. Results : No relation emerged with marital status, age at marriage, marital life, level of education, socio-economic status, age at menarche, menstrual regularity, number of spontaneous abortion, duration after last delivery, height and weight. But compared to control group, longer menstrual period, larger menstrual amount, severe menstrual pain, less number of parity, and less number of induced abortion signifcantly increased risk of endometriosis Conclusions : This study showed that frequent menstrual cycles and long period of menstruation with frequent and large amount of retrograde menstrual flow increased the risk of endometriosis.

      • 화학적으로 활성화된 GroupⅢ와 GroupⅣ구심성 근신경의 Gamma Motoneuron에 대한 반사효과

        In decerebrated cats the effects of fine muscle afferents (groups Ⅲ and Ⅳ) upon gamma motoneurons were studied. The efferent activity was exracellularly recorded from small filaments of ventral roots or from filaments of musole nerves. Fine muscle afferents were selectively activated by bradykinin, potassium and serotonin. For comparison, succinylcholine was administrated to activated muscle spindle afferents. Forty gastrocnemius-soleus gamma motoneurons were recorded. Thirty-six (90%) of them had a tonic background discharge in the absence of intentional stimulation. A high susceptibility to an increased activity in fine muscle efferents was found for the gamma motoneurons. Practically all neurons both to homonymous extensor and antagonistic flexor muscles responded with an excitation to at least one of the algesic substances applied. Only two out of fifteen gamma motoneurons responded to succinylcholine. Thus indicationg a weak convergence from muscle spindle afferents. Control experiments demonstrated that the responses to bradykinin and potassium are entirely due to the nervorus outflow from the gastrocnemius-soleus muscle. In contrast, serotonin influencing the gamma motoneurons has unknown additional sites of action. The results indicate that muscular group Ⅲ and/or group Ⅳ units activated by algesic substances evoke excitatory effects upon gamma motoneurons.
