      • 내향성 발톱 교정에 관한 사례 고찰 연구

        본 연구는 ‘내향성 발톱 교정에 관한 사례 고찰 연구’로서 보다 효과적인 내향성 발톱 교정 방안을 제안하고자 함에 있다. 고찰하여 분석한 결과 배민규, 윤천성(2022)은 내향성 발톱 예방 및 개선⋅교정을 목적으로 활용한 레진 젤(크랄레젤)을 활용한 내향성 발톱 교정 방법이 제품 활용 편리성, 문제점 등에서 다른 연구자들의 연구방법에 따른 문제점 등과 비교했을 때 활용 가치가 있을 것으로 판단했다. 다만 기존 다른 연구자들의 아크릴 스캅춰, Brace System, 실크, 와이어 등 제품들에 비해 교정 효과가 비교적 낮아 김경환(2022) 연구자가 내향성 발톱 교정 효과성 검증을 위해 활용했던 견인기를 함께 활용하기를 제안한다. 내향성 발톱 예방 및 재발 방지를 목적으로 배민규, 윤천성(2022) 연구자가 제안한 크랄레젤 리커버 1회 적용을 제안하고, 내향성 발톱 개선 및 교정을 목적으로 김경환(2022) 연구자가 활용한 견인기를 활용하여 발톱을 펴준 후, 배민규, 윤천성(2022) 연구자가 제안한 크랄레젤 리커버를 목적에 맞게 2~5회 적용하여 활용하기를 제안한다. 본 연구 자료가 내향성 발톱 질환으로부터 건강한 삶을 영위하기 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대해 본다. As “a case study on the correction of ingrowing nail”, this study aims to suggest more effective measures for the correction of ingrowing nail. In the results of considering and analyzing it, the correction of ingrowing nail using the Resin Gel(Kralle Gel) which was used by researchers Min-Gyu Bae & Chun-Sung Youn(2022) for the purpose of preventing, improving, and correcting the ingrowing nail, seemed to be more useful than other methods used by other researchers in the aspect of convenience of product use and problem. However, compared to the products like Acrylic Sculpture, Brace System, Silk, and Wire used by other researchers, the effect on correction was relatively lower, so it is proposed to be used together with the Retractor that was used by Kyeong-Hwan Kim(2022) for verifying the effectiveness on the correction of ingrowing nail. This study suggests applying Kralle Gel Recover one time suggested by Min-Gyu Bae & Chun-Sung Youn(2002) for the purpose of prevention & recurrence prevention of ingrowing nail, unbending the nail by using the Retractor used by a researcher Kyeong-Hwan Kim(2022) for the purpose of improving/correcting the ingrowing nail, and then applying Kralle Gel Recover 2-5 times suitable for the purpose, suggested by researchers Min-Gyu Bae & Chun-Sung Youn(2022). The results of this study are expected to be utilized as the data for enjoying a healthy life from ingrowing nail disease.

        대장내시경검사의 전처치로서 항콜린제 사용에 관한 연구 : 전향적, 이중맹검법으로

        Background: Use of antispasmodic medication prior to colonoscopy is controversial but someone believes antispasmodic may improve visualization of colonic mucosa and ease colonoscope insertion. So, we designed a study to assess the effect of premedication with the antispasmodic, hyoscine-N-butyl bromide(Buscopan') on the performance of colonoscopy. Methods: This study was prospective, double blinded, randomized, controlled study, One hundred three consecutive patients were randomized to receive intravenous buscopan lml(n=52) or placebo(n=51) combined with our standard initial medication(me- peridine 50 mg and midazolam 2 mg). Insertion of colonoscopy was timed, and 100 mm visual analogue scales (VAS) were used for asscssing difficulty of procedure, colonic motility, frequency of positional change, frequency of external compression, difficulty of assistance and degree of discomfort experienced by the patients. Results: There were no significant differences of intubation time between buscopan group(mean time, 7.23 min., range 2~15) and placebo group(7.07 min., range 3-25), (p=0.83) and withdrawal time between buscopan group (6.46 min., range 2-22) and placebo group(6.76 min., range 2 25), (p=0.69). Also, there was no significant differences in intubation time between males and females(buscopan; males 7.00 min., females 7.60 min., p=0.34, placebo; males 7.0~5 min., females 7.08 min., p 0.44). The VAS scores checked by endoscopist(p=0.29), assistant(p=0.32) and patient (p=0.15) were not significantly different in both groups. There were no significant differences in intubation time, VAS scores nf endoscopist, assistant, and patients. Conclusion: Premedication with intravenous bu.opan has no advantage on colonoscopy procedure. Use of antispasmodic medication prior to colonoscopy was not considered as recommendable agent.

        Conditioned Media of ASC-17D Sertoli Cells Induce G1-Growth Arrest of DU145 Human Prostate Cancer Cells

        We studied the effects of ASC-17D rat Sertoli cell-conditioned media (rSCCM) on the proliferation of the DU145 prostate cancer cells. rSCCM was prepared from ASC-17D cells cultured in DMEM/F-12 serum-free media at a nonpermissive temperature of 40℃, which is the condition for the high expression of clusterin. We found that rSCCM could inhibit the proliferation of DU145 cells by arresting the cell cycle in the G1 phase in a dose-dependent manner. This growth arresting activity was abolished by boiling rSCCM for 5 min. The G1 growth-inhibiting activity of rSCCM was also detected in other prostate-originated cancer cells examined (ie., LNCaP and PC-3) but not in other cells (ASC-17D, HepG2, SK-N-SH, and NIH3T3). Western blot analysis of partially purified growth inhibiting fractions with the clusterin antibody showed that the cytostatic factor in rSCCM was not clusterin. This cytostatic factor was semipurified by DEAE-Sepharose, ammonium sulfate precipitation, and Phenyl-Sepharose column chromatography, and was estimated to have a molecular weight of 88 kDa by Sephacryl S-300 gel filtration.

        C -11 및 F - 18 표지 콜린의 합성과 체내동태에 관한 연구

        Objectives: Recently, [methyl-(11)^C]-(β-Hydroxyethyl)trimethylammonium ([(11)^C]choline) has been discovered to be a very effective tracer in imaging various human tumors using positron emission tomography. Because of the short half-life of C-11, it is very difficult to use in a routine imaging procedure and needs a frequent synthesis of [(11)^]choline. This can be supplemented by the substitution of [(11)^Ccholine with [methyS-18]fluorocholine. Here, we would like to report cell uptake and biodistribution of [(11)^Ccholine and [(18)^F]fluorocholine as a basic study. Methods [(11)^C]Choline was prepared by the treatment of [(11)^C]CHzI with N,N-dimethylaminoethanol and [18F]fluorocholine was synthesized from reaction of CHzBr[18F]F with N,N-dimethylaminoethanol. The radiochemical purity was checked by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The biodistribution of [(11)^C]choline and [(18)^F]fluorocholine was determined in balb/c mouse at 5 min, 20 min, 40 min and 80 min. The cell uptake wa measured using glioma (9L) and colon adeocarcinoma (SW620). Results: The radiochemical purity was more than 98% after purification. In the liver, uptake did not change over time the uptake was 20/ID/g for [C]choline and 13%ID/g for [(18)^F]fluorocholine. In the kidney, radioactivity decreased over tirne the uptake was 15%1D/g for [(11)^Ccholine and 20%ID/g for [(18)^F]fluorocholine, 80 min post-injection. The cell uptake of [(11)^Ccholine was 4.93% for glioma (9L) and 18.69F for colon adenocarcinoma (SW620). For [(18)^F]fluorocholine, 1.77% for glioma (9L) and 2.77% for colon adenocarcinoma (SW620). Conclusion: [(11)^CCholine and [(18)^F]fluorocholine showed a different cell uptake tendency, depending on cancer cell line. (Korean J Nucl Med 200135:185-191)

        ‘맞춤형화장품 제도’가 2020년 3월 14일자로 첫 시행되었다. 맞춤형화장품 제도는 화장품 혼합 및 소분 등 다양한 소비자의 기호 반영과 맞춤형화장품 조제 관리사와 같은 전문 일자리 창출효과와 화장품 산업 활성화를 기대할 수 있다. 급변하는 경제성장의 21세기 현대사회는 단순하게 최신 유행 추구보다는 본인의 만족감을 충족시키는 소비트렌드 중심으로 개인별 취향과 특별함을 강조하는 퍼스널 형태의 맞춤형 제품 관심이 점차 확대되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 맞춤형화장품에 대하여 맞춤형화장품과 맞춤형화장품조제관리사, 맞춤형화장품의 시장현황에 대하여 알아보고 맞춤형화장품을 적용한 분야의 연구들을 살펴보았다. 아름다움에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 현대인들의 삶의 질과 생활수준 향상은 외모관리가 자기표현의 수단으로 외모는 자기 인식과 함께 인간관계에서도 중요한 요소일 것이다(김민정, 2018). 외모에 대한 관심도가 갈수록 높아지면서 소비자들은 전문가에게 지속적인 관리를 받는 것이 일상이 되어가고 있다(김지윤, 전미정, 2020). 소비자들은 자신의 외모관리를 위한 수단으로 화장품을 구매하고 사용하는데 있어서 유행을 따르기보다는 자신에게 맞는 화장품을 선호하며 맞춤형화장품에 대한 인식은 소비자의 피부상태에 맞추어 즉석에서 만드는 화장품으로 인식하고 있다. 본 연구가 미용분야에서 맞춤형화장품이 피부미용관리 프로그램에 다양하게 활용되며 기초를 다지는 데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다. Customized Cosmetics Systems’ came into effect on 14 March 2020. With the customized cosmetics system, it is possible to reflect consumers’ various preferences to the mixture and subdivision of cosmetic ingredients, to create jobs like customized cosmetics technical managers, and to promote the cosmetics industry. In today’s society with rapid economic growth, more consumers have been interested in customized products reflecting individuals’ tastes and speciality in the consumption trend for self-satisfaction, rather than the pursuit of the latest fashion. This study tried to find customized cosmetics, customized cosmetics technical managers, and the market state of customized cosmetics, and to look into other studies on customized cosmetics. As people pay more attention to beauty along with the improved quality of life and standard of living, their care for looks is the means of self-expression. Therefore, appearance together with self-awareness is a critical factor in human relationship (Kim Min-jeong, 2018). The more consumers are interested in their looks, the more they receive professional care in everyday life (Jeong Mi-jeong, 2020). When buying and using cosmetic products as the means for appearance management, consumers prefer the cosmetics suitable for themselves, rather than follow a fashion and think of customized cosmetics as the cosmetic products made instantly in consideration of their skin conditions. It is expected that this study contributes to applying customized cosmetics much to skin care programs and laying the foundation for them.

        Development of in-situ electro-generated chlorine leaching and its application to the leaching of platinum

        An in-situ electro-generated chlorine leaching with a closed recycling unit of unconsumed gas was developed for precious metal dissolution and applied to the leaching of platinum from a spent automotive catalyst containing 0.13 wt% Pt. Cathodic current in a cathodic compartment of the chlorine generation cell reduces the unconsumed chlorine gas into chloride ions for further chlorine generation. The electro-reduction efficiency was 99.4% in alkaline 2 M NaCl solution, whereas 80.8% in 35% HCl solution at 0.62 mmol min−1 supply rate of unconsumed chlorine gas. The 98.3% platinum from the spent automotive catalyst leached without discharging the unconsumed chlorine gas into the air at 100 g L−1 solid/liquid ratio and 80°C in a 7 M HCl solution. Increasing the solid/liquid ratio to 400 g L−1 drastically decreased the leaching percentage to 16.5% in 90 minutes by possible adsorption of leached Pt to the porous surface of the automotive catalyst carrier.

        H9c2 심근 세포주에서 외인성 nitric oxide가 허혈에 의한 세포 독성에 미치는 영향

        Background: Nitric oxide(NO) is known to have protective effects on an ischemic heart and to exert triggering effects on ischemic preconditioning. However, the effects of NO during the ischemic period have not been investigated. To investigate the role of exogenous nitric oxide in a model of ischemic heart cell death, we studied the effects of ischemic preconditioning and ischemia in a normal and an ischemic buffer. Methods: Rat cardiac myoblast cells(H9c2) were cultured in a normal and an ischemic buffered medium. For the ischemic culture of heart cells, the cells were cultured in a dessicator with GasPak for 5 hrs. In ischemic preconditioning, the cells were pretreated with ischemic buffer for 5 min and then perfused with normal medium for 30 min. For the measurement of the cytotoxicity, a MTT(3-4-Sdimethylthiazol-2-yl-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay was performed. A DAPI(4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole dihydrochloride) staining procedure and a flow cytometry analysis were performed to confirm apoptotic cell death by ischemia. Results: Cell viability, as determined by using a MTT assay, showed that the preconditioned group treated with NO showed more cell death than with the not-preconditioned groups in both normal and ischemic buffers. But, In normal medium and not-preconditioned groups, NO showed protective effect according to the concentrations(100,1000μM) . No treatment with NO produced the different results. In normal medium, the protective effect of ischemic preconditioning was demonstrated, but no protective effect of ischemic preconditioning could be seen in the case of the ischemic buffer. The DAPI staining and flow cytometry analysis of heart cells showed characteristic apoptotic features. Conclusion: NO added in the ischemic phase had deterious effects on heart cells. Ischemic preconditioning was more harmful than ischemia alone. The toxicity of the cells was characteristic apoptosis.

        Effects of Ethanol Addition on the Efficiency of Subcritical Water Extraction of Proteins and Amino Acids from Porcine Placenta

        In a previous study, hydrolysates of porcine placenta were obtained and the extraction efficiency for proteins and amino acids was compared between sub- and super-critical water extraction systems; optimum efficiency was found to be achieved using subcritical water ($170^{\circ}C$, 10 bar). In this study, the effects of adding ethanol to the subcritical water system were investigated. The lowest-molecular-weight extraction product detected weighed 434 Da, and the efficiency of extraction for low-molecular-weight products was increased when either the concentration of ethanol was decreased, or the extraction time was lengthened from 10 min to 30 min. The highest concentration of free amino acids (approximately 8 mM) was observed following 30 min extraction using pure distilled water. The concentration of free amino acids was significantly lower when ethanol was added or a shorter extraction time was used (p<0.05). Color change of the solution following extraction was measured. There were no significant differences in color between lysates produced with different extraction times when using distilled water (p>0.05); however, using different extraction times produced significant differences in color when using 20% or 50% ethanol solution for subcritical extraction (p<0.05). The range of pH for the hydrolysate solutions was 6.4-7.5. In conclusion, the investigated extraction system was successful in the extraction of $\leq$ 500 Da hydrolysates from porcine placenta, but addition of ethanol did not yield higher production of low-molecular-weight hydrolysates than that achieved by DW alone.

        Conversion of chalcopyrite to copper oxide in hypochlorite solution for selective leaching of copper in dilute sulfuric acid solution

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In the present study, development of a novel oxidation route to convert chalcopyrite to tenorite for leaching of copper has been described. Initially chalcopyrite was converted into tenorite/copper oxide (CuO) under alkaline region using electro-generated chlorine as an oxidant. Various process parameters such as chlorine sparging rate, temperature, and reaction time were investigated. It was found that 93.8% chalcopyrite converted to tenorite at 60 °C in 300 min when chlorine sparging rate was 0.69 mmol min<SUP>−1</SUP> while, maintaining the pulp density of 10 g/L and pH of the solution between 11−12.7 using dilute sodium hydroxide solution. The oxidized sample containing tenorite phase was leached in dilute sulfuric acid solution at 30 °C and 10 g/L pulp density for 60 min. It was observed that pH of the solution plays a crucial role to enhance the selective recovery of copper. Almost 88% of copper along with 43.1% iron were leached out when pH of the leaching solution was varied between 0.9−1.2. However, negligible dissolution of iron with almost same percentage of copper leaching (88.2%) was observed with the solution having pH 2.7−3.2. Enhanced copper leaching efficiency of up to 99.3% was achieved in the same pH range (2.7−3.2) at 60 °C within 30 min.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Conversion of chalcopyrite to tenorite in alkaline medium was investigated. </LI> <LI> Electro-generated chlorine was used as an oxidant to assist the phase transformation. </LI> <LI> Subsequent leaching of tenorite yielding a selective recovery of copper. </LI> <LI> Linear relationship between degree of conversion to leaching efficiency was established. </LI> </UL> </P>

        AISI1045 기계구조용 탄소강의 질화 가스분위기에 따른 화합물층의 형성 및 조직변화

        Compound layers developed at 520 ℃ during gaseous nitriding of AISI 1045 steels were investigated. The nitriding potential (Kn) of a gas atmosphere of dissociating ammonia gas was checked by observation of the partial pressure of hydrogen gas. The microstructural evolution of the compound layer was studied by using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. It was observed that the surface hardness was about 600 Hv after the nitriding treatment and the case depth was about 0.5mm after a nitriding treatment of 1440 min. The compound layer was composed of  ′(Fe4N) and ε(Fe2-3N). The thickness of the compound layer was simultaneously increased to 16 μm during the nitriding treatment of 1440 min. The kinetics of the compound layer growth were discussed with a modified Lehrer diagram of AISI 1045 steels, which was obtained from the thermodynamic calculation. †(Received January 15, 2016; Accepted March 2, 2016)
