연구목적: 충북대학교병원에서 임상시험 및 연구를 지원하는 기반구조(이하, 임상시험기반)에 대한 수 요가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 요구가 발생하는 주요인은 연구비지원의 경향이 최근에 변하고 있는 것과 오송 첨단의료복합단지의 완공을 들 수 있으며, 여기에 대응하기 위하여 충북대학교병원의 연구역량 강 화가 절실히 필요하며, 임상시험기반을 구축하기 위한 전략을 준비하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 대상 및 방법: 충북대학교병원에서 수행중인 임상시험 및 연구과제의 연구비 현황을 연구유형에 따라 분석하였다. 임상시험 및 연구를 지원하는 조직 및 서비스는 다음 자료를 검토하여 조사하였다: (1) 미국의 NIH 연구비 수혜액수 최고 순위 다섯 연구기관의 홈페이지, (2) 한국의 지역임상시험센터 홈 페이지, (3) 세 미국 연구기관의 전략계획서. 이렇게 하여 추출된 임상시험기반 항목을 다섯 가지 영 역(연구 인력, 지원 서비스, 공용 시설 및 장비, 정보기술, 기타 자원)으로 분류하였다. 그리고 이들 항목의 우선순위를 충북대학교병원 임상교수를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 평가하였다. 결과: 임상시험기반의 각 영역에서 상위 우선순위로 나타난 항목은, (1) 연구인력 영역에서 연구 간호 사, 연구 교수, 생통계학자; (2) 지원서비스 영역에서 연구계획서의 과학적 검토, 연구설계를 위한 통 계지원, 피험자 모집 및 추적관리; (3) 공용시설 및 장비 영역에서 인체조직은행, 인체유래시료 은행, 영상의학 지원; (4) 정보기술 영역에서 연구자용 임상연구 관리시스템과 데이터베이스 관리시스템; (5) 기타 자원 영역에서 기관윤리심의 위원회 심사신청 및 서류작성 지원, 연구계획서 작성지원, 연구 를 위한 부서간 업무인증 및 조정, 임상연구관련 서식이었다. 결론: 충북대학교병원 교수들의 수요와 오송 첨단의료복합단지와의 협력을 고려하여, 임상시험기반 확 보를 위한 장단기 전략이 제시되었다.

Background: Selective inhibitors of cycloosygenase (COX)-2 are commonly used analgesics in various pain conditions. Although their actions are largely thought to be mediated by the blockade of prostaglandin (PG) biosynthesis, evidences suggesting endogenous opioid peptide link in spinal antinociception of COX inhibitor have been reported. We investigated the roles of opioid receptor subtypes in the spinal antionociception of selective COX-2 inhibitor. Methods: To examine the antionociception of a selective COX-2 inhibitor, DUP-697 was delivered through an intrathecal catheter, 10 minutes before the formalin test in male Sprague-Dawley rats. Then, the effect of intrathecal pretreatment with CTOP, naltrindole and GNTI, which are ${\mu}$, $\delta$, and k opioid receptor antagonist, respectively, on the analgesia induced by DUP-697 was assessed. Results: Intrathecal DUP-697 reduced the flinching response evoked by formalin injection during phase 1 and 2 Naltrindole and GNTI attenuated the antinociceptive effect of intrathecal DUP-697 during both phases of the formalin test, CTOP reversed the antinociception of DUP-697 during phase 2, but not during phase 1, Conclusions: Intrathecal DUP-697, a selective COX-2 inhibitor, effectively relieved inflammatory pain in rats. The $\delta$ and $\kappa$ opioid receptors are involved in the activity of COX-2 inhibitor on the facilitated state as well as acute pain at the spinal level, whereas the ${\mu}$ opioid receptor is related only to facilitated pain.

Plasma chlorpromazine level and some aspects of the clinical significane were studied with 20 schizophrenics. The results were as follows; The (so-called) steady state of plasma chlorpromanzine level was arrived at about 12th day of the drug administration in a dose of 300mg/day on a fixed maintenane regimen. Thereafter the level tended to decline slightly. After arriving at the steady state, a significant positive correlation was observed between the plasma level and the dose of the drug, both in intra-and interpatient comparisons (r=+0.5855, p<0.025). On a fixed chlopromazine dosage, the plasma levels showed marked interpatient differences both before and after the initial day of the steady state, though the differences were more marked before the period of steady state. No significant positive correlation could be identified between the plasma level and the drug side reaction, though 78% of the observed side reactions were positively related with the plasma level of 1.5 mcg/ml or above. And again, significant positive correlation was not observed between the plasma level and the clinical improvement. So-called 'therapeutic window' was considerably wide ranging between 0.5 to 2.45 mcg/ml of the plasma level.

The study was carried out to investigate the water balance and losses of nutrients from paddy fields during cropping period. The size of paddy fields was 95 ha and the fields were irrigated from a pumping station. The runoff loading was the highest in June because of the high concentrations of nutrients due to applied fertilizer. When the runoff losses of nutrients were compared to applied chemical fertilizer, it was found that 39.1 % to 42.5 % of nitrogen lost via runoff while runoff losses of phosphorus account for 6.3 % to 8.0 % of the total applied amount during cropping period. When the ratio was calculated between nutrients losses by infiltration and the applied of chemical fertilizer, two year results showed 9.1 % to 10.7 % for nitrogen and 0.2 % for phosphorus, respectively.
A new record of Lyssa zampa (Butler) from Korea

An Uraniidae moth, Lyssa zampa (Butler, 1869) is newly discovered from southern Korea. One male specimen was collected at a valley of south aspect of Mt. Hallasan, Jejudo in July, 2014. This species is briefly described and illustrated here. DNA barcoding sequence (Genbank KU160388) for the species was provided for species identification.
