        야뇨증 환아들의 심리사회적 특성에 대한 다기관 연구 : 행동 및 정서 문제를 중심으로

        Objectives : The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral and emotional problems associated with nocturnal enuresis in Korean children. Methods : Three hundred eighteen children with nocturnal enuresis, together with their parents, completed the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Disruptive Behavior Disorder Scale according to DSM-IV (DBDS), Children's Depression Inventory (CDI), State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC), and Piers-Harris Children's Self-Concept Scale (PHCSC). Ninety-three normal students were selected as the control group. Results : Compared to the normal control group, the mean scores with regard to the withdrawn, social problems, attention problems, delinquent behavior, aggressive behavior, externalizing problems and total problems profiles were significantly higher in the nocturnal enuresis group according to the CBCL results. The nocturnal enuresis group also scored significantly higher in the ADHD and ODD profiles of the DBDS. The nocturnal enuresis group was more depressed and anxious than the control group according to the results of the CDI and STAI. The mean score of the PHCSC was significantly lower in the nocturnal enuresis group when compared to the normal control group. Conclusion : The results of this study suggest that children with nocturnal enuresis in Korea have clinically relevant behavioral and emotional problems. The findings support the link between nocturnal enuresis and psychopathology in Korean children.

      • Isoflavone을 급여한 흰쥐 혈청 콜레스테롤 농도

        콩과 식물에는 isoflavone의 유도체로서 comestrol, biochanin-A 등이 존재하고, leaf protein 제조때 一部 移行하는 것이 알려져 있기 때문에 isoflavones를 rat에 급여 血淸콜레스테롤 농도에 대하여 영향을 검토하였다. 콜레스테롤 무첨가 식이에 coumestrol 50 ppm, 콜레스테롤 첨가 식이에 coumestrol 50 ppm 및 100 ppm, biochanin-A, 0.075, 0.150%를 혼합하여, 7주령의 Wistar계 수컷 rat에 21일간 급여하여, 혈청지질을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 어느 경우도 isoflavones첨가군 및 대조군 간에는 血淸 총콜레스테롤, HDL-콜레스테롤 LDL- 콜레스테롤, triglyceride는 差가 인정되지 않았다. Isoflavones are widely distributed in legumes. It had been reported that isoflavones exhibited hypocholesterolemic activity in rats. I have undertaken a study of these isoflavones with regard to their effect on the rat. In this study, the effects of coumestrol and biochanin-A on the serum cholesterol level in rats fed with cholesterol free and cholesterol enriched diets were examed. The commercially available isoflavones were purchased in the experiment. Coumestrol were incoporated in the diet at a level of 0.50 ppm without cholesterol free diet and 0, 50, 100 ppm with cholesterol enriched diet. biochanin-A were incoporated 0, 0.075 and 0.150 % with cholesterol enriched diets. These diets were fed for 3 weeks to male wistar strain rats with a body weight of 90∼100g. It was found no significant changes in serum lipids level in the isoflavone fed rats in both cholesterol free and cholesterol-enriched diet.

      • 해외에서 유입된 정상 면역 성인의 Varicella 폐렴 1예

        Varicella-zoster virus, an unusual pathogen of community acquired pneumonia in adult, may causes respiratory distress and death. Since the first description by Waring et al. in 1942, the disease has been recognized by roentgenography, pathologic study, and virus studies as a special syndrome of the varicella virus. Immunocompromized conditions such as leukemia, malignant lymphoma and corticosteroid therapy predispose patients to varicella pneumonia. It occurs rarely in immunocompetent patients. The clinical manifestations of varicella zoster pneumonia exhibit a wide spectrum of disease from asymptomatic to death. Acyclovir is the recommended treatment and corticosteroid can be used in severe varicella pneumonia. We report a case of varicella pneumonia developed in a immunocompetent patient.

        汎植物凝集素 Phascolus vulgaris L.와 Caragana Chamlagu Lam.의 사람 혈청에 의한 凝集沮止能의 比較硏究

        A comparative hemagglutination inhibition study to human RBC was carried out in 100 human sera to determine the relationships of hemagglutination inhibition activities between the two phytagglutinins, P.vulgaris L. and C.Chamlagu Lam., by the human sera. The results could be summarized as follows: 1. Each of the phytagglutinins, P.vulgaris L. and C.Chamlagu Lam., was reacted as a panphytagglutinin to the human RBS. 2. In 100 human, sera, the agglutination inhibition group by P.vulgaris L. was 64 cases (PVI: 64%) and the non-inhibition group was 36 cases (PVN: 36%), while the agglutination inhibition group by C.Chamlagu Lam. was 35 cases (CCI: 35%) and the non-inhibition group was 65 cases (CCN: 65%). 3. The hemagglutination inhibitions of the two phytagglutinins, P. vulgaris L.and C.Chamlagu Lam., by the human sera showed statistically close relationship.

        P.B.Shelley의 Adonais에 나타난 초월론적 회의주의

        Adonais is generally criticzed as a subtle and complex poem. So there has continued to be disagreement about several critical interpretations. Moreover the unity of this poem is still at issue. In this poem, the structure and various images are inseparable because of their mixture into a great one. Thus the method of its study must be focused on the whole forms of Shelley's works. Above all, skepticism which is one of main streams of literary manifestation is thought not to be ruled out. The reason is that skepticism is at once a consistent literal philosophy and a method of poetic writing all through his works. Next, 1 will summarize the contents of Adonais from the skeptical point of view. Shelley, though a romantic, uniquely wrote a traditionally elegiac Adonais. But this poem shows his consistent world of works such as absurdity between reality and ideal. Alastor consists of pessimistic skepticism on life throughout, whil Adonais contains Platonic immortality and reality in the imaginative world. Shelley has a skeptical attitude toward the transcendence and immortality, the phenomenal illusion of which is based on Dream of Life principle. Moreover the ambivalence between the lamentation and silence of Keats's death deepens his skeptical inclination. He is thought to acquire the immortality in the operation of loss and recompensation. His acquirement of the transcendental life can be said to be attributable to his skepticism. He made a delegate- Hour mourn Keats's death, which evades a double death and gives animation to this poem. Though he feels betrayal of difference between man's evanescence and the mutabiltiy of nature in the cyclical nature, he can unify phenomenal world with ontological reality. Through the self- portrait of man's frail form he is convinced that a physical destruction can accomplish a mental world and has acquired a creative poetic inspiration within the form and essence of nature.

        Shelley의 Alastor에 나타난 Psyche-epipsyche에 관한 연구

        Shelley's Alastor is attempting to settle a conflict between what might be called the law for nature and the law for love- that is between the material world and psychological world. But we may consider this poem to be the material world, and put emphasis on the philosophical viewpoint because of its quest towards inner being. In the process of searching for inner being, he uses variously invisible symbols beyond visible realities. He is far from being satisfied with external phenomena such as social systems, conventions, but eagerly longs for the ideal beauty beyond them. However, he is unable to cope with these environments effectively unless he is able to establish a connection with some epipsychological counterpart through whom he accomplishes his ideal beauty towards perfection. Thus he creates a Narrator, a poet as his other self through whom he intends to attain this goal. His thought can be said to be derived from Plato's threefold division of the soul. Thus Shelley's conception of soul in this poem is alleged to be divided as follows: (1) an immortal spirit, which controls the other two parts, is a dream-symbol. (2) a higher moral or rational soul is expressed as boat-journey and narcissim. (3) a desiring part, which guides the appetites, leads to the Poet's death because of distorted emotion. Consequently in this poem the separation of epipsyche from psyche produces death, whether actual or symbolic. And the Psyche-Epipsyche theme can be the prototype of his late poems.

        상아질 접착제의 미세누출과 변연부 혼화층

        The purpose of this study was to compare microleakage and marginal hybrid layer in class V restorations using two one-bottle adhesives and one self-etching adhesive. Class V cavity preparations with occlusal margins in enamel and gingival margins in dentin were prepared on buccal and lingual surfaces of 30 extracted human molar teeth. Prepared teeth were randomly divided into there treatment groups (n=30) and restored with three adhesives and composites: Single Bond/Filtek Z-250 (Group 1), Prime&BondNT/EsthetㆍX(Group 2), Unifil Bond/Unifil F (Group 3). For microleakage, samples were stored in room temperature water for 24 hours, thermocycled, stained with 2% methylene blue dye, sectioned into halves, scored and analysed using Mann-whitney test and Wilcoxon singed rank sum test. For marginal hybrid layer, samples were sectioned into halves with 10% phosphoric acid for 5 seconds, stored in 5% NaOCL solution for 24 hours, dried and gold coated. Occlusal and gingival margins of each sample were inspected under SEM. The results of this study were as follows; 1. Microleakage at the occlusal margins was not evident in group 1 and group 2, but it showed in group 3(p<0.05). 2. Microleakage in group 1 and group 3 was significantly lower than in group 2 at gingival margins (p<0.05). 3. Microleakage at gingival margins was greater than at occlusal margins in group 1 and group 2, but microleakage at occlusal margins was greater than at gingival margins in group 3 (p<0.05). 4. In group 1 and group 2, no gaps at occlusal margins showed. But gaps showed in group 3. Occlusal margins were free from a hybrid layer in all groups. 5. The thickness of the marginal hybrid layers was 2.5~5㎛ thick in group 5㎛ thick in group 2 and 1.5㎛ thick in group 3. 6. There was no corelation between microleakage and thickness of marginal hybrid layer. In coclusion, the effect of dentin adhesives on microleakge in class V composite restorations was excellent when one-bottle adhesives were applied on enamel margin, and it was good when a self-etching adhesive was applied on dentinal margin. There was no corelation between microleakage and thickness of marginal hybrid layer.

        Rat Brain cDNA Library로부터 SNAP-25 유전자의 클로닝

        SNAP-25는 presynaptic plasma membrane에 위치하는 단백질로서 synaptic vesicle의 docking과 fusion에 있어서 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 생쥐 SNAP-25 유전자와 99%의 높은 homology를 갖고 있는 Z2 cDNA를 probe로 사용하여 쥐의 뇌 cDNA library에서 SNAP-25 유전자를 screening 하였다. 그 결과 6개의 양성 클론을 분리해 냈으며, 이들 각각을 S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6으로 명명하였다. 이중에서 생쥐 SNAP-25와 가장 높은 homology를 보여 주고 있는 S5 클론을 선택하여 염기서열을 분석하였다. 2,100 bp의 염기서열로 구성된 쥐 SNAP-25 cDNA는 206개의 아미노산을 coding하는 618 bp의 open reading frame을 가지고 있으며, ORF는 209∼211 bp에 위치하는 AUG codon에서 시작하여 827∼829 bp에 위치 하는 stop codon TAA에서 끝난다. 3' untranslated region에서는 28과 19개의 CA 반복 염기서열을 보여주고 있었으며, SNAP-25 peptide sequence에서 4개의 cystein residues는 84∼91에 위치하고 있었으며, amino terminus부분에서 amphipathic α-helix를 형성하고 있는 것을 볼 수 있었다. 사람과 쥐의 SNAP-25 유전자는 88%, 생쥐와 쥐의 경 우는 97%의 homology를 보여 주고 있었다. 그리고 사람과 쥐의 ORF에서 염기서열은 94%, 생쥐와 쥐의 ORF에서 염기서열은 100%의 homology를 보여주고 있었으며 사람, 생쥐, 그리고 쥐 의 ORF에서 아미노산 서열은 100%의 homology를 보여 주고 있었다. SNAP-25 was first investigated as a neuron-specific protein preferentially expressed in CA3 pyramidal neurons of mouse hippocampus. It is a presynaptic plasma membrane protein in the nerve cell and plays an important role in the synaptic vesicle membrane docking and fusion pathway. We have recently isolated SNAP-25 cDNA from a rat brain cDNA library using a probe of Z2 cDNA. It consisted of 2,101 bp and an open reading frame (ORF) was identified between nucleotides (nt) 209 and 827. The AUG codon (nt 209∼211) was surrounded by CTACCATGG, which corresponded to the consensus sequence of ribosomal binding site. The ORF was terminated by TAA (nt 827∼829) to encode a polypeptide of 206 amino acid residues. The 3'-untranslated region contained two extensive stretches of repeated (CA)28 and (CA)19 at positions 925∼980 and 1645∼1682. It is noteworthy that cysteine residues were clustered in the span of amino acid residues 84∼91 : Cys-Gly-Leu-Cys-Val-Cys-Pro-Cys. Rat SNAP-25 showed 88% and 97% identity in nucleotide sequences to that of human and mouse, respectively. Amino acid sequence of rat SNAP-25 showed 100% identity to that of mouse and human SNAP-25.

      • √s 침하예측기법을 이용한 현장침하량 예측

        Prediction of consolidation settlement and time must be always erroneous because of soil media, errors associated with the measurement of soil parameters, drawback of consolidation theories and so on. When Oiling on compressible soils, the observational method is a useful means in pratice to evaluate the final consolidation settlement and time. However, the ousted observational procedures include some disadvantages which are difficulty of finding the linearity in the settlement curves, which a personal error seems to be unavoidable and so on. A new observational procedure(√s method) is suggested here to perform the consolidation analysis in field. As the results of applying the √s method with another methods to two field data, the final settlement predicted by the √s method as well as by the Asaoka's method agreed well with the measured value. However, one by the hyperbolic method(Tan, 1991) was overestimated, and there happened many cases not to predicted by the Hoshino's method. In the settlement curve from the √s method, the linearity between 60 and 90% of the average degree of consolidation is showed, and then the possibility of happening a personal error seems to be unusual. The final consolidation time(at 0.95s_(f)) predicted by the √s method agreed well with the measured one, but one by Asaoka and Tan(1996) methods was very much underestimated or overestimated. The big errors by the two methods seem to be the cause unconsidered the effect of step loading.

        단상 혐기성 소화공정에서의 동력학적 연구

        Kinetic data for the acid phase anaerobic digestion were presented in this study and the constants were determined with acid production rate and gas production rate. Process models based on continuous culture theory were used to describe the characteristics of the acid forming microorganisms and to enable further development toward utilization of the process in a more rational manner. Acid phase digestion can be separated with appropriate manipulation of hydraulic retention time in anaerobic digestion. Kinetic analysis of data from the various hydraulic retention times using a phase specific model obtained from the acid phase indicated maximum specific growth rate of 0.40/h, saturation constant of 2,000㎎COD/ℓ, yield coefficient of 0.35 ㎎VSS/㎎COD utilized and decay constant of 0.04/h for the acid production rate. Similar analysis of data for the gas production rate indicated maximum specific growth rate of 0.003/h, saturation constant of 2,200㎎COD/ℓ, yield coefficient of 0.0035 ㎎VSS/㎎COD utilized and decay constant of 0.06/h.
