      • 대만의 지능장애와 감각장애 특수학교 교장 전형 리더십에 대한 연구

        최근 몇 년 회귀 주류와의 융합 교육 정책 하에 대만의 특수 교육 학교는 예전과 다른 큰 변화에 직면해 있다. 완전 융합 이념의 실시 또 심신장애학생을 주류교육으로 회귀해야 한다는 것을 제창함으로, 특수교육학교는 인원이 감소하게 됐다. 특수교육 학교는 신입생 모집이 부족한 상황에서 학교 교사들의 관점이 교장의 지도에 대해 보는 관점이 어떻게 다른가? 그에 대한 요구도 다른가? 본 연구는 두 인자 변의 수 분석이 대만 지능 장애와 감각 장애 종류의 특수 교육 학교 교장전형 리더십에 대한 연구이다. 실험 대상자는 8개 지능 장애종류 특수교육 학교와 5개 감각 장애종류 특수 교육 학교의 259명의 교사이고 그들이 특수교육학교 교장 리더에 대한 건의를 제출했다. In recent years, the domestic special education schools have faced with huge changes under the mainstream and inclusive education policies for the implementation of the full-inclusive and the mainstream education for the students with impairment. That causes the special education schools to reduce classes. Under this situation, what are the teachers?fdifferent views about the principal? What are their needs? The study was undertaken through two-way ANOVA to explore principals?ftransformational leadership between the schools for the mentally retarded and for the sensory impaired. 259 teachers were selected from 8 schools for the mentally retarded and 5 sensory impairment special education schools. Based upon the findings, the implications for practice were proposed.

        This paper attempts to draw the application of sports science technology in health-related fitness in the teaching of physical education, sports and physical activities in schools in particular. Discussions and illustrations of relevant issues are provided with respect to: (a) application and integration of sports science disciplines such as exercise physiology, sports nutrition, sports psychology and sports biomechanics in relation to physical education and health-related fitness, and (b) the new state-of-the-art Human Performance Laboratory, Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, the Hong Kong Institute of Education an innovative model for school health-related fitness with application of sports sceince technology.

        Prevalence and impacts of male urinary incontinence on quality of life, mental health, work limitation, and health care seeking in China, Taiwan, and South Korea (LUTS Asia): Results from a cross-sectional, population-based study

        Purpose: Male urinary incontinence (UI) is a global health issue associated with bothersome symptoms which affect daily life. This study aims to evaluate the prevalence of male UI in China, Taiwan, and South Korea and to determine if UI is an independent risk factor affecting the health-related quality of life (HRQoL), mental health, work limitations, and healthcare seeking behavior. Materials and Methods: A post-hoc analysis was conducted on the LUTS Asia database which was collated from a cross-sectional, population-based internet survey in China, Taiwan, and South Korea. Prevalence of male UI was assessed, and the effect on HRQoL, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) depression and anxiety scores, work performance, and healthcare seeking behaviors was determined using univariate and multivariate analyses. Results: A total of 4,076 male participants were surveyed. Prevalence of male UI was 17.3%. UI adversely affected the HRQoL in both physical and mental domains. Both multivariate and univariate analyses showed that male UI could be correlated with a negative effect on the HADS anxiety and depression scores. Multivariate analysis suggested that work difficulties were correlated to the presence of UI. Up to 28% of participants who reported urge UI only did not adopt any management measures. Conclusions: UI is common in men over 40 years and adversely impacts HRQoL. It is an independent risk factor for anxiety and depression and may cause significant work limitations. Despite these negative effects, many men still do not seek any intervention.

        심상훈련이 아시아 여자 운동선수의 특수한 생리학적 지표에 미치는 영향

        심상훈련이 아시아 여자 운동선수의 특수한 생리학적 지표에 미치는 영향, 운동과학, 제8권 제2호, 283-298, 1999. 탁구, 조정, 그리고 펜싱을 하는 8명의 홍콩 여자 선수들은 개별화된 심상훈련 프로그램에 8개월동안 참가했다. 이 프로그램은 상담과 이미지 트레이닝을 포함하고 있다. 이 프로그램의 효과를 테스트하기 위해 Procomp Computer Biofeedback System과 생리학적 지수들이 사용되어졌다. 그리고 이 프로그램은 eletromyography(EMG) of forehead, 손가락의 skin conductance(SC), 손바닥 중앙의 skin temperature(ST), 손가락의 blood volume pressure(BVP), 그리고 심박수(HR)를 포함하고 있다. 이러한 결과는 실험이후에 가장 낮은 이마쪽 EMG나 HR(b/min) 값은 이완(p <.05)상태에서 실험 이전의 값보다 낮았다. 실험 이후 가장 높은 이마쪽 EMG와 HR(b/min)는 심상상태에서 실험이전의 값보다 더 높았다. 이완 상태에서의 가장 낮은 EMG와 심상 상태에서의 가장 높은 EMG사이에 실험이후 차이값은 33.6V로써 이는 실험전 8.22V보다 높은 것이었다. 이완상태에서의 가장 낮은 HR과 심상시 가장 높은 HR간의 실험후 차이값은 39.2b/min까지 기록되었는데, 이는 실험전의 24.2b/min보다 훨씬 높은 것이었다(p<.01). 이완 상태에서의 가장 낮은 SC와 심상시의 가장 높은 SC 사이의 실험후 차이간은 1.81V를 기록하였는데, 이는 실험전 0.41V보다 훨씬 높은 것이었다(p<.01). ST(C)와 BVP(%)는 같은 경향을 보였으나 그 차이는 통계적으로 유의한 값을 나타내지 않았다. 이러한 변화는 심상훈련 이후에 심리적 기능의 향상을 제시하였다. EMG, SC값과 HR값은 이완 상태에서 낮거나 일정하였고, 심상을 하고 있는 상황에서는 유의하게 증가를 하였는데 이것은 뇌를 자극하는 두 가지 변화를 나타내었다. EMG, SC 그리고 HR 이 세가지의 지표는 정신 훈련을 하는 동안 동시에 변하였으며, 특히 시청각 자극이 주어졌을 때는 더욱 많이 변하였다. 이 연구는 EMG, SC, 그리고 HR이 선수들의 정신상태 및 정신 훈련의 효과를 검증하는데 있어서 ST나 BVP보다 더욱 효과적이라는 것을 제시하여 주었다. Eight elite female athletes from Hong Kong in the sports of table tennis, rowing and fencing participated in an 8-month mental training program which was quite individualized. The program included consultation talk and relaxation-imagery training. A Procomp Computer Biofeedback System and 6 physiological indices were used to test the effects of the program, including electromyography (EMG) of forehead, skin conductance (SC) of finger, skin temperature (ST) of center of palm, blood volume pressure (BVP) of finger and heart rate (HR). The results showed Vat the lowest values of forehead EMG (v) and HR (b/min) during the post-experiment were lower than those of pre-experiment in the condition of relaxation (p<.05). The highest values of forehead EMG (v) and HR (b/min) of the post-experiment were higher than those of pre-experiment in the condition of imagery (p<.05). The difference value of post-experiment between the lowest EMG during relaxation and the highest EMG during imagery reached 33.6v, which was much higher than 8.22v of pre-experiment (p<.05). The difference value d post-experiment between the lowest HR during relaxation and the highest HR during imagery reached 39.2 b/min, which was much higher than 24.2 b/min of pre-experiment (p<.01). The difference value of post-experiment between the lowest SC during relaxation and the highest SC during imagery reached 1.81v, which was much higher than 0.41v of pre-experiment (p<.01). The ST (C) and BVP (%/) showed the same trends, but the difference did not reach statistical significance. These changes suggested the improvement of psychological skill after mental training. The values for EMG, SC and HR were lower and stable in the condition of relaxation and significantly increased in the condition of imagery, which indicated two-way changes of arousal in the brain. Three indices of EMG, SC and HR changed synchronously during mental training practice, especially when audio and visual stimuli were given. This study suggested that EMG, SC and HR were more effective than ST and BVP in terms of evaluating athletes' mental state and testing effects of mental training.

      • Design of A Semi-spherical Microphone Array Based Sound Localization System

        This paper proposes a semi-spherical microphone array based sound localization system for a service robot. The hardware of the proposed system basically contains 12 capacitor microphones disposed in two layers on the semi-sphere of 19 cm diameter. It aims to estimate the degree relationship between the main speaker and the robot and provides the robot useful information for more effective human-robot interactions. The proposed system can determine the location of the voice according to energy information between the main speaker and robot not only in normal environment but also in blatant and/or reverberative spaces. The experimental results show that the proposed system has obtained satisfactory recognition efficiency, moreover, raised the robotic friendliness and adaptability.

        The Integration and Implication of Sports Science in Competitive Sports and Physical Activity in China and Hong Kong

        중국과 홍콩의 경쟁적 스포츠와 체육활동에서의 스포츠과학의 통합과 함축. 운동과학, 제7권 제2호, 147-158, 1998. 스포츠의 발전은 과학과 기술의 진보에 의존한다. 1994년 국가 스포츠 위원회는 중국의 경쟁적 스포츠와 대중 건강 시스템의 개혁을 위해 올림픽 영예 프로그램과 생활체육 프로그램을 도입했다. 이 두 프로그램은 1995년부터 2000년까지의 중국 스포츠 발전의 청사진이다. 올림픽 영예 프로그램의 주요 과제는 2000년 전에 7개 주요 국제경기와 단일 세계대회를 준비하는 것이다. 이는 또한 21세기를 위해 스포츠에 재능이 있는 선수 발굴을 목표로 한다. 사회 경제상태 발전, 생활수준 향상, 여가시간 증가 등이 중국의 생활체육 프로그램 수행하는 주요 원동력이다. 그러나 생활체육 프로그램은 12억 중국인의 체력상태와 삶의 질향상을 포함하는 커다란 체계적 계획이다. 이 프로그램이 효력을 발휘하기 위해서는 효과적 조직과 적용 절차뿐만 아니라 시간과 과정이 필요하다. 반면 홍콩의 경우 HKSI에서 이루어지는 스포츠 과학은 각 분야의 우수한 남녀 선수에게 도움을 주기 위해 노력하는 다양한 학문분야의 스포츠 과학자간의 긴밀한 협조를 보여주는 좋은 예이다. The purpose of this study was to review sports science system in China and Hong Kong. In 1994, the national sports commission introduced the Olympic Honor program and Fitness For All Program to reform the competitive sports and community health system in China. These two programs are the blueprint of Chinas sports development from 1995 to 2000. It is targeted for the development of sports talents for the next century. The development of social-economic status, improvement in living standards, and greater spare time are the major driving forces set to carry out the FAP in China. In Hong Kong, sports science services at the HKSI is a fine example demonstrations a close cooperation between sports scientists of various disciplines working together for the benefit of top sportsmen and sports women in the region.

        Investigation of Interleukin-10 Promoter Polymorphisms and Interleukin-10 Levels in Children with Irritable Bowel Syndrome

        Background/Aims: The aim of this study was to investigate whether genetic variations at positions -1082, -819, and 592 in the interleukin (IL)-10 promoter affect IL-10 production in children with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Methods: Ninety-four children with IBS and 102 children as healthy controls (HCs) were enrolled. Genomic DNA was extracted, and IL-10 -1082, -819, and -592 polymorphisms were detected by direct sequencing from all participants. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from 46 IBS children and 38 HCs were isolated and cultured with and without 5 ng/mL Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide (LPS). IL-10 levels in the culture supernatants were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: There were no significant differences in the distribution of IL-10 -1082, -819, and -592 polymorphisms or in the allele and haplotype frequencies between IBS children and HCs. PBMCs from children with IBS had significantly lower IL-10 levels after LPS stimulation than PBMCs from HCs (p=0.011); however, LPS-induced IL-10 levels in PBMCs with different genotypes of -819 and 592 polymorphisms were not significantly different between IBS patients and HCs. Conclusions: Although significantly lower LPS-induced IL-10 production by PBMCs was noted, it is unlikely that IL-10 production was fully genetically determined in our IBS children.         Changes in 3-MCPD esters, glycidyl esters, bioactive compounds and oxidation indexes during kenaf seed oil refining

        An optimized refining process for kenaf seed oil was conducted. The 3-monochloro-1,2-propanediol (3- MCPD) contents, triacylglycerol composition, fatty acids composition, bioactive compounds, phosphorus contents, and oxidation indexes of the kenaf seed oil during each stage of the refining process were determined. The results showed that there was no detected 3-MCPD ester in kenaf seed oil throughout the refining process. Deodorization had slightly increased the 2-MCPD ester (9.0 lg/kg) and glycidyl ester (54.8 lg/kg). Oleic (36.53%) and linoleic acids (36.52%) were presented in the largest amount in the refined kenaf seed oil, and triacylglycerols contributed to 99.96% in the oil. There was a removal of 31.6% of phytosterol content and 17.1% of tocopherol and tocotrienol contents in kenaf seed oil after refining. The refining process was totally removed the hydroperoxides, 93% of free fatty acids and 98.8% of phosphorus content in kenaf seed oil.

        Effect of a vertical guide plate on the wind loading of an inclined flat plate

        Wind tunnel experiments were performed to study the wind loads on an inclined flat plate with and without a guide plate. Highly turbulent flow, which corresponded to free-stream turbulence intensity on the flat roof of low-rise buildings, was produced by a turbulence generation grid at the inlet of the test section. The test model could represent a typical solar collector panel of a solar water heater. There are up-stream movements of the separation bubble and side-edge vortices, more intense fluctuating pressure and a higher bending moment in the turbulent flow. A guide plate would result in higher lift coefficient, particularly with an increased projected area ratio of a guide plate to an inclined flat plate. The value of lift coefficient is considerably lower with increased free-stream turbulent intensity.
