      • 적층구조를 가진 이중공진 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나의 설계

        동축급전을 가지는 적층구조를 이용하여 차세대 이동통신인 IMT-2000 주파수 대역용 마이크로스트립 안테나를 설계 및 제작하였다. 협소한 대역폭 문제를 해결하고자 이중 공진을 일으키는 적층 구조의 안테나를 설계하였다. 적층구조 특성을 이용하여 협소한 대역폭 문제를 해결하고, 송·수신의 동작대역이 서로 다른 IMT-2000 주파수대역에 맞추기 위해 이중공진의 특성을 이용하였다. 전송라인 모델을 이용하여 아래 패치의 크기를 설계한 다음 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 최대전력 전달을 위해 최적의 급전위치를 찾았으며 상층기판의 유전율 및 두께를 최적화시켰다. 또한 공기층을 삽입하여 제작의 정밀성과 안테나의 효율을 증가시키고자 하였다. 설계한 안테나의 주파수대역은 1.885GHz∼2.025GHz, 2.11GHz∼2.2GHz의 동작대역을 포함하고 230MHz 이상의 대역폭을 가지도록 설계되었고 측정결과는 하향 1.8745GHz, 상향 2.2GHz에서 공진이 발생하였으며 각각 10.2%와 7.8%의 대역폭을 가지는 결과를 얻었다. Stacked square microstrip antenna was designed and manufactured and tested to apply in next generation mobile communication, on IMT-2000 system(up link: 1.885GHz∼2.025GHz, down link: 2.11GHz∼2.2GHz), which has dual-frequency, broadband and high-gain characteristics. To increase bandwidth we presented dual band stacked microstrip patch antenna with one probe feed using a technology that is stacked patches in which a parastitic element is place above a lower patch. Lower patch was designed by transmission line model and impedance matching point is determined by using simulator. Second, We considered variations of return loss by simulator when dielectric constant and thickness in higher dielectric substrate is varied. Third, to settled distance between lower substrate and higher substrate, we placed to air-gap above lower substrate. Therefore we expected that the efficiency of antenna and exactness of manufacture can be improved by this way. Finally we determined parameters of the antenna through above optimization procedure. With the parameters, We manufactured stack square microstrip patch antenna and measured with HP 8510c network analyzer. The pleasured results are as follows: resonant frequency of 1.8745GHz and 2.2GHz, bandwidth of up to 10.2% and 7.8%, gain of 8dB∼10dB.

      • 兩眠 시각 시스템에서 頭部 및 眠球의 운동 보상법

        본 논문에서는 회전 및 병진의 외란이 가해진 경우 시각 이외의 자율운동 보상법에 관해서 고찰하였다. 양안시에 의한 주시점까지의 시차 및 방향의 측정과 계속적으로 주시하기 위한 VOR의 이득을 쉽게 계산할 수 있었다. 두부의 회전 각속도 및 회전 각도는 gyro 센서에 의해 얻어지더라도 gyro 센서의 값은 화상정보와는 무관하며, 대단히 짧은 시간내(약 1 ms)에 데이터를 샘플링할 수 있기 때문에, VOR의 이득을 1로 하여 남은 오차를 보간함으로써 화상정보를 보다 쉽게 주시할 수 있었다. When external noise of rotation and lateral are imposed to binocular vision system, self-regulation moving compensation method except sight is examined in this treatise. We could measure both binocular disparity and direction by binocular vision until visual point and calculate easily VOR's gains to stare continuously. Even if cephalic rotating angular velocity and rotating angle are obtained by gyro sensor, the value of gyro sensor is unrelated with image information, and we could stare a image information more eisily, deciding VOR's gains by 1 do and modifing the remained error because we can do sampling the data in short time(about 1ms).

        골절단을 이용한 급속 치아이동 후 치수 및 치주조직 변화

        본 연구는 골절단을 이용한 치아-치조골 분절의 급속 치아이동 후 치수, 치주인대 및 치조골의 변화를 유성견에서 평가하고자 하였다. 하악 제4소구치의 근심, 원심, 치근단 부위에서 피질골을 절단하여 치아-골 분절을 형성하고 하악 제3소구치를 발거하면서 협측, 설측 부위의 피질골을 삭제하였다. 1주 휴지기 부여에 따라 휴지기군과 비휴지기군으로 나누어 치아의존형 견인장치로 6일 동안 견인하고 강화기를 거친 후 0주, 1주, 2주, 4주, 6주, 8주에 희생시켜 치수, 치주인대 및 치조골의 조직 변화를 임상적, 방사선적, 조직학적 및 면역화학적으로 평가하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 치아이동 양과 강화기 동안의 조직 치유 양상에서 휴지기 유무에 따른 차이는 없었다. 2. 견인측에서 골형성은 강화기 8주까지 계속되었는데 강화기 1-2주에 가장 활발하였으며 6-8주간의 변화는 적었다. 3. 비휴지기군의 강화기 1주에서 치조골 흡수 및 파골세포 출현, 염증세포 침윤이 가장 많았으며, 특징적으로 파상아세포가 압박측의 치주인대와 치수 내에 나타났다. 4. TGF-β는 치조골의 골기질 및 골모세포, 파골세포, 치수 내 파상아세포에서 강양성 발현을 보인 반면 치수, 백악모세포, 무세포성 백악질에서 경미한 양성 발현을 나타내는 부위 특이성이 있었다. 5. TGF-β는 견인측 치주인대의 치조골에 인접한 혈관 및 치주인대세포, 골모세포에서 강화기 초기 1-2주에 주로 발현되었으며 6주 이후에는 발현이 크게 감소하였다. The movement of tooth-bone segments by osteotomy can simultaneously shift tooth and surrounding alveolar bone in a relatively short period. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the tissue changes in pulp, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone in rapid tooth bone movement with osteotomy. The mandibular 3rd premolar of a dog was extracted and cortical bones of the buccal and lingual area were eliminated, and then cortical bones around the mesial and distal area of root, and below the root apex of the mandibular 4th premolar were osteotomized. After a one week latency period, a tooth-borne distraction device was activated for 6 days. And pulp, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone were evaluated clinically, radiologically, histologically and immunohistochemically at 0, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks of the consolidation period and conclusions were reached as follows. 1. Latency period didn't affect total amount of tooth movement and healing process of tissue during consolidation period. 2. Bone formation continued through 8 weeks of consolidation in distracted side, with a high peak at 1-2 weeks, and the lowest at 6-8 weeks of consolidation. 3. At 1 week of consolidation, alveolar bone resorption, osteoclast appearance and inflammatory cell infiltration were the most active, and dentinoclasts characteristically appeared on the pulp and pressure side of the periodontal ligament. 4. The expression of TGF-β was area-specific, as it was strong-positive at bone matrix, osteoblast, osteoclast of alveolar bone, and dentinoclast inside pulp, but weak in pulp, cementoblast and acellular cementum. 5. The expression of TGF-β was generally observed at the initial 1-2 weeks of consolidation at vessels, periodontal ligament cells, and osteoblast near alveolar bone on the distraction side of the periodontal ligament, and was significantly decreased after 6 weeks of consolidation.

      • 아동이 지각한 감성 상태와 과학 학습과의 관계

        To investigate the relationship between emotional states of children and science learning, we analyzed the memories of school science with regard to the emotional states of them. Seventy seven sixth graders' memories on the science instruction which they have received so far were discerned through a questionaire and interviews. The emotional states of the children were divided into two, that is, the positive and negative states. The children's responses were categorized into the amount of memory, content and learning methods, and the reasons why them perceived as positive or negative. The results as follows. First, in the quantitative aspect, it was found that the science learning experiences perceived as positive sere much more effective than those of perceived as negative. In the qualitative aspects, more science concepts were formed from the learning at the positive emotional states than those at the negative states, furthermore, it was found that in associating their learning with the processes they performed, the former was more effective. Second, for the reasons why they perceived the science learning experience as positive, the factors associated with processes of learning were most typical, and in those of perceived as negative the factors related to the learning materials were most prominent. For both of positive and negative emotional states, personal factors showed to get a second priority. Finally, for the characteristic ways of science learning in both of emotional states, Experimentation was typical method which provided children the joyfulness of physical activities and new curiosity, also it was shown to be most preferred activity by the children. While, the learning method which most probably perceived as negative emotional states by children was Observation. The reasons for the method contained the learning materials they dislike and the limitation of time. In general, the learning activities performed alone, static activities, and activities felt as routine or meaningless to children were all significantly contributed to the negative emotional states of learners. These findings provide a basis for understanding the roles of emotion in learning science. The results also highlight the need for teachers to provide experiences and to create environments which encourage the positive emotional states of learners when teach science subjects.

      • 부산지역 모 공단 및 인근지역 사업체의 산업보건 실태에 관한 조사연구

        부산지역 공단 및 인근지역 사업체의 산업보건실태를 파악하기 위하여 205개 사업체의 보건담당자를 대상으로 1990년도의 보건실태에 관한 설문조사를 하였다. 조사내용을 일반사항, 보건관리실태에 관한 사항, 작업장 유해환경 및 보호구 지급사항, 건강관련 사항 및 근무조건에 관한 사항 등으로 대별하여 분석ㆍ관찰하였다. In order to obtain the fundamental data for developing more effective and acceptable programs of public health manegement in an industrial complex, 205 health manager in the plants answered the questionaire of the status of industrial health during 1990. The questionaire consisted of general charateristics, health care status, environmental problems, health problems, and others. 72.4% of 205 plants had less than 100 workers. Fabricated metal manufacture was 32.4%. Although Footwear manufacture was 6.4%, the percentage of workers was 33.1% of total workers. The percentage(56.2) of retired women was higher than that(38.2) of men. 51.9% of total plants has recieving group health care services. 85.4% of plants was exposed to noise, 66.5% was exposed to dust. Ear plug and mask were given to prevent noise and dust in 69.2% and 68.6%, respectively. Among 22,299 workers, 618(2.8%) were diagnosed as suspected non-occupatinal disease. 85.9% of them worked on continuously and had their disease treated. The cases suspected for occupational disease was 100 workers. 82.5% of them changed their post. 45% had the compensation for their occuaptional disease. The rate of working: accidents was 2.3%.

      • 말초혈액에서 Tg mRNA에 대한 역전사 중합효소 연쇄 반응법의 갑상선 재발암의 분자생물학적 진단

        연구배경: 갑상선암은 다른 조직에 발생한 암에 비해 비교적 천천히 자라므로 대부분 예후가 양호하지만, 일부에서는 주위 조직으로 침윤하거나 혹은 원격 전이로 인하여 치명적인 결과를 초래할 수 있다. 갑상선전절제술 및 131^I 제거술 후 경과 관찰시 갑상선암의 재발과 전이의 진단에 있어 131^I 스캔과 혈청 Tg의 측정이 현재 임상에서 가장 많이 이용되고 있으나 이 방법에는 여러 가지의 결점이 있다. 최근 Tg mRNA에 대한 RT-PCR법을 이용한 여러 연구결과는 131^I 스캔과 혈청 Tg 측정의 결점을 보완할 수 있는 좋은 보조적인 진단법으로 이용할 수 있을 가능성을 제시하였다. 이에 말초혈액에서 측정한 Tg mRNA에 대한 RT-PCR법이 갑상선 절제술 및 방사성요드 치료 후 갑상선암의 재발 및 전이 유무의 진단에 유용한가를 알아보고자 이 연구 시행하였다. 방법: 분화된 갑상선암으로 진단된 후 갑상선전절제술을 시행받고 방사성요드 치료를 받은 환자 중 현재까지 한차례에 이상 추적 방사성요드 전신 스캔을 시행하고 추적관찰이 가능했던 유두선암 35예, 여포선암 5예를 대상으로 연구를 시행하였다. 대상군은 131^I 스캔 소견상 음성인 군(Group Ⅰ), 잔여조직이 있는 군(Group Ⅱ), 국소전이가 있는 군(Group Ⅲ), 및 원격전이 군(Group Ⅳ)으로 구분하였다. 정상 대조군은 갑상선질환이 없는 10예의 건강인으로 하였다. 대상환자의 말초혈액을 이용한 Tg mRNA에 대해 특이적인 primer를 이용하여 RT-PCR 및 nested RT-PCR을 시행하였다. 결과: 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 131^I 스캔 소견상 음성인 군 21예 중 1예에서 Tg가 양성소견을 보였다. Anti Tg Ab가 양성인 4예 모두 Tg가 음성을 보였다. 잔여조직이 있거나 국소전이 및 원격전이를 보인 군 19예 중 Tg가 양성인 경우는 4예였으나, Tg mRNA는 전예에서 양성이었다. 2) 131^I 스캔에서 국소 및 원격전이 소견을 보인 8예 중 4예에서 Tg가 음성으로 131^I 스캔과 혈청 Tg 사이에 불일치 소견을 보였다. 3) 말초혈액에서 특이적인 primer를 이용하여 RT-PCR 및 nested RT-PCR을 시행한 결과 대상군 40예 및 정상 대조군 10예 모두에서 Tg mRNA가 양성을 보였다. 결론: 본 연구에서 갑상선 절제술 및 방사성요드 치료 후 갑상선암의 재발 및 전이 유무를 평가함에 있어 역전사 중합효소 연쇄 반응법을 이용한 Tg mRNA 측정의 의의는 재평가되어야 한다고 생각된다. Background: Differentiated thyroid cancer is the most common endocrine malignancy. Despite advances in the treatment of thyroid cancer, disease recurrence and metastasis may occur in as many as 20% of patients, and so continues to pose major problems in its clinical management. Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) measurements, by immunoassay, are used to detect residual or recurrent thyroid cancer following thyriod ablation. However, the usefulness of immunoassay is limited by both the requirement for thyroid hormone withdrawal, to attain optimal test sensitivity, and interference by the antithyroglobulin antibody (Anti-Tg Ab). Recent studies have reported the clinical usefulness of reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) detection of Tg mRNA in the peripheral blood of patients with differentiated thyroid carcinomas. We performed this study to evaluated the usefulness RT-PCR of Tg mRNA in peripheral blood of patients with thyroid carcinoma following a total thyroidectomy and radioiodine ablation therapy. Methods: Forty cases that underwent a total thyroidectomy and radioiodine ablation therapy were included in this study. Of the 40 patients, 35 were papillary carcinomas and 5 were follicular carcinomas. Ten normal control subjects were also studied. Tg mRNA was extracted. Then RT-PCR and nested RT-PCR, were run with specific Tg primers. Concurrently, DNA sequencing of the isolates was carried out to prove the isolates were identical to the nucleotide sequence of the Tg. Results: The Tg was detected in 4 of 19 patients, with either a residual thyroid bed, or metastasis, on a 131^I whole body scan and in 1 of 21 patients with a negative radioiodine scan. Surprisingly, the Tg mRNA was detected in all the patients and normal controls. Conclusion: From our results we can not recommend Tg mRNA, detected by RT-PCR in peripheral blood, as a tumor marker superior to that of the Tg serum level. We consider an intensive re-evaluation of the method is required before considering its clinical applications (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 17:501∼513, 2002).

        Trismus as an Orofacial Manifestation of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

        Leukemia is a malignant disease characterized by uncontrolled clonal proliferation of white blood cells. It is classified depending on clinical course of disease (acute or chronic) and the primary hematopoietic cell line affected (myeloid or lymphoid). Leukemia is often associated with orofacial manifestations, such as oral bleeding, petechiae, oral ulceration, gingival enlargement, mucosal pallor and mental nerve neuropathy. However, trismus has been rarely reported as a sign of leukemia. We present a case of trismus caused by acute lymphoblastic leukemia and emphasize the importance of orofacial manifestations in the early diagnosis of leukemia.

        Chromosomal Localization of Korean Cattle (Hanwoo) BAC Clones via BAC end Sequence Analysis

        In this study, a Korean native cattle strain (Hanwoo) evidencing high performance in terms of both meat quality and quantity was employed in the generation of 150,000 BAC clones with an average insert size of 140 kb, and corresponding to about a 6X coverage of bovine chromosomal DNA. The BAC clones were pooled in a mini-scale via three rounds of a pooling protocol, and the efficiency of this pooling protocol was evaluated by testing the accuracy of accessibility to the positive clones, via a PCR-based screening method. Two sets of primers designed from each of two known genes were tested, and each yielded 2 or 3 positive clones for each gene, thereby indicating that the BAC library pooling system was appropriate with regard to the accession of the target BAC clones. Analyses of $3.3{\times}10^6$ base pairs obtained from the 7,090 BAC end sequence (BES) showed that 34.88% of the DNA sequence harbored the repetition sequence. Analysis of the 7,090 BES to the $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ generation radiation hybrid map of the cattle genome, using the COMPASS program designed for the construction of a cattle-human comparative mapping, resulted in the localization of a total of 1,374 clones proximal to 339 $1^{st}$ generation markers, and 1,721 clones proximal to 664 $2^{nd}$ generation markers. Collectively, the BAC library and pooling system of the BAC clones from the Korean cattle, coupled with the chromosome-localized BAC clones, will provide us with novel tools for the excavation of desired clones for genome mapping and sequencing, and will also furnish us with additional information regarding breed differences in cattle.
