        黃連湯이 CCl4로 유도된 간중독 흰쥐에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of Hwanglyuntang on serum reactions of CCI₄ treated rats. In this study the experimental rats were divided five groups(Normal, Control, Sample A, Sample B and Sample C). Under the same condition Normal group was fed basal diet and water, the Control group was injected with carbon tetrachloride(CCI₄, 0.5㎖/㎏) and fed a basal diet for 2 weeks, the Sample A group was injected with carbon tetrachloride(CCI₄, 0.5㎖/㎏) and fed the Hwanglyuntang extract(10㎖/㎏) for 2 weeks, the Sample B group was fed the Hwanglyuntang extract(10㎖/㎏) for 2 weeks and injected with carbon tetrachloride(CCI₄, 0.5㎖/㎏), the Sample C group was fed on the Hwanglyuntang extract(10㎖/㎏) for 2 weeks. The change in GOT, GPT, γ-GPT, ALP, LDH activity and Bilirubin level in blood serum were preasured. The obtained results are summarized as follows : It was found that GOT, GPT, γ-GPT, ALP LDH activity and Bilirubin levels in the blood serum of the sample groups, as compared with control group, sample group was significantly decreased.

        Most concrete is recently made of an aggregate which is properly absorbed, and carried in it in order to do capability at every fields. We have been close to demand new capability of high flowing and enduring for specific concretes. That is difficult to cope with claiming the efficiency on deterioration from lack of a high quality aggregate. Therefore, For solving the problems we apply to a packing method for using dried materials. That is to say it is a kind of making into an instant. In this study, There is a purpose to present fundamental data, comparing and analyzing a phenomenon about aggregate's absorption following the rate of adding water, for using existing materials.

      • 蜂毒藥鍼이 脊髓內 痛症關聯 神經細胞의 活性에 미치는 影響

        In spite of the use of Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture in the clinics, the scientific evaluation of effects is not enough. Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture is used according to the stimulation of acupuncture point and the chemical effects of Bee Venom. The aims of this study is to investigate the analgegic effects of the Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture, through the change of writhing reflex and the change of c-fos in secondary neurons in the spinal cord. Materials and Methods : Pain animal model was used acetic acid method. The changes of writhing reflex of the mice which were derived pain by injecting acetic acid into the abdomen, after stimulating Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture on Chungwan(CV12) were measured. We used Fos immunohistochemical technique to study the neuronal activity in the spinal cord. Results : 1.Expression of c-fos in superficial dosal horn(SDH), nucleus proprius(NP) and neck of dorsal horn(N) on 6~9th thoracic spine decreased significantly at 2.5×10-4g/kg Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture, compared with saline-acetic acid group. 2.The numeral change of Fos-LI neurons on the NP, N, and ventral gray(V) on 6~9th thoracic spine, SDH on 9~11th thoracic spine, and SDH and V on 11~13th thoracic spine decreased significantly at Chungwan(CV12) Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture, compared with saline-acetic acid group. 3.The correlation between the numbers of writhing reflex and Fos-LI neurons in T6-13 segment was statistically statistically significant at Chungwan(CV12) Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture. Conclusion : This study shows that the Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture on Chungwan(CV12) decreases the numbers of Fos-LI neurons. As the analgegic effects of Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture is recognized. Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture treatment is expected for pain modulation. In order to use it in many ways. more researches are needed for the dose and stability of Bee Venom aqua-acupuncture.

        Higher incidence of sperm granuloma in the epididymis of C57BL/6N mice

        C57BL/6N mice are inbred strains widely used in biomedical research. Hence, a large amount of basic data has been accumulated. However, in the field of histopathology, spontaneous data for relatively younger mice that are used more frequently are not yet abundant, in contrast to data for older mice and their neoplastic lesions. To acquire the essential background data required by various research and toxicological assessments, 120 mice of the C57BL/6N strain (10 and 13 weeks of age) were collected from two institutions (From Korea and Japan) and subjected to histopathological analyses of the major organs (liver, spleen, kidney, thymus, heart, testis, epididymis). The results showed significantly higher incidence of sperm granulomas in the epididymides (10-56%) of these mice, compared with that in other strains or species of lab animals. Upon closer inspection, oligospermia/clear cell hyperplasia, cellular debris, and tubular vacuolation were also observed in the epididymides with sperm granulomas. Moreover, diseased organs were significantly heavier than healthy ones. Immunohistochemical staining showed a significant increase in the chromatic figures of cysteine-dependent aspartate-directed proteases-3 (caspase-3) and cleaved-poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (c-PARP), and damages to the tubule due to spontaneous apoptosis, which may have led to the sperms leaking out of the tubule, causing the granuloma. To conclude, spontaneous sperm granuloma can occur in 10- and 13-week-old C57BL/6N mice and may thus affect the results of various studies using these mice. Therefore, sperm granuloma in epididymis needs to be carefully considered as an important factor when design the study using C57BL/6N.

        근세 일본의 재해사자와 사원 : 1657년의 대화재와 에코인(回向院)

        본 연구는 근래 점점 주목을 받고 있는 재해 연구사 흐름 속에서 근세 일본 재해사에 대한 새로운 관점으로서 ‘재해사자의 처리와 위령’이라는 문제를 제기한 것이다. 그리고 그 구체적인 사례로 살펴보는 것이 1657년의 메이레키 대화재이다. 메이레키 대화재는 에도 시가지의 60%를 태웠고 이후 에도 도시 구조를 크게 개편하는 계기가 되었다는 지적이 있었지만 재해사자의 문제는 ‘10만’이라는 숫자가 제시되었을 뿐 대량의 신원 불명 사자를 누가 어떻게 처리했고 매장했으며 살아남은 이들은 죽은 이들을 어떻게 위령하고 기억했는지에 대해서는 명확히 밝혀진 것이 없었다. 본 연구는 막부의 기록 등 당시 상황을 기록한 다양한 자료를 바탕으로 4대 쇼군 이에쓰나의 보좌역 역할을 하고 있던 호시나 마사유키가 재해사자의 처리에 깊게 관여했음을 밝히며 히닌(非人)들에게 사자의 운반과 매장을 담당케 했음을 지적했다. 재해사자들의 집단매장지로 선택된 곳은 당시 에도의 변두리 지역인 우시지마였는데 이 집단매장지에 막부는 ‘에코인’이라는 사원을 세워 재해사자를 위령토록 했다. 재해사자의 집단매장지에 위령을 위해 탄생한 이 사원의 처음의 명칭은 ‘쇼슈산 무엔지 에코인(諸宗山無緣寺廻向院)’이었다. 이 명칭과 초기 기록의 불명확함 때문에 에코인은 처음에 여러 불교 종파의 승려들이 참가하는 위령 의례가 이루어지는 초종파적인 사원으로 인식되었고 에도 시대, 근대, 현대를 거쳐 오늘날까지도 그러한 인식이 남아있다. 하지만 당시 사원신축과정과 위령 의례의 모습, 이후 정토종 사원으로 기록되고 산호가 ‘고쿠호잔(國豊山)’으로 변경된 점을 보건대 에코인은 처음부터 정토종의 사원으로 건립되었다고 판단할 수 있다. 오히려 처음의 사원 명칭은 ‘여러 종파(諸宗)에 속한 신원 불명 사자 즉 무연(無緣)의 재해사자가 극락왕생하기를 비는(回向) 사원’의 의미로 해석하는 것이 더 적절할 것이다. 에코인은 이후 에도 시대를 통해 메이레키 대화재의 재해사자를 위령하는 공간뿐만이 아니라 에도 시대의 지진, 기근, 화산분화의 재해사자의 위령의 공간, 이상사자와 동물의 위령공간으로까지 위령의 대상을 확대해나간다. 에코인이라는 사원은 막부의 명령과 비용부담에 의해 막부의 보리사의 주도에 의해 건립되었다는 점에서 근세 일본의 대표적인 공공적 위령 공간으로 평가하는 시각도 존재하나 ‘유일한 국가 위령 공간’이라는 시각에는 신중할 필요가 있다. 메이레키 대화재에 관해서는 독점적인 위령 공간으로서의 위치였지만 이후 에도 시대의 다른 재해사자 위령에서는 정토종을 대표하는 사원으로 다른 종파의 사원들과 함께 위령에 참가했기 때문이다. This paper analyzes through a case study of disaster deaths of early modern Japan, how disaster victims were treated and memorialized. The Great Fire of Meireki began at Honmyōji in Edo on the eighteenth day of January in 1657. The fire lasted for three days and destroyed more than sixty percent of Edo, the capital of Tokugawa causing a hundred thousand deaths. Analyzing various types of public and private records about the fire revealed that Hoshina Masayuki, the adviser to the 4th shogun, had suggested to the Shogun and Rōjū to build a mass burial of the dead at a single site. Usizima was chosen as the site of the mass burial and the temple for the dead. The Jisha-bugyō, supervisor of shrines and temples, went to Zōzōji and ordered the abbot to build a temple for memorial services. This was called Shoshūsan Muenji Ekōin, where memorial services began to be held. One of the interpretations of the name Shoshūsan Muenji Ekōin was the Ekōin was built as a trans-sectarian temple and it became a branch temple of Zōzōji, the great main temple of Pure Land Buddhism. However, this study argues that Ekōin was originally a Pure land Buddhism temple, and the name of temple was derived from consideration for disaster victims. The name Shoshūsan Muenji Ekōin means that the place for commemorating unidentified disaster victims of various Buddhist sects. Thereafter, Ekōin became a representative temple for disaster victims of Edo period, for disasters such as the Great Eruption of Mount Asamayama in 1783, the Great fire of Bunka in 1806, and the Ansei Edo Earthquake in 1855. Throughout the history of Ekōin in early modern Japan, it appeared that Ekōin was the exclusive national memorial temple for disaster victims. However, it was not the only temple for disaster victims funded by nation but one of temples among various Buddhist sects in many disaster cases.

        활동 궤양성 대장염 환자에서 발생한 폐혈전색전증 1예

        Inflammatory bowel disease often involves extra-intestinal organs. Cerebral thrombosis, portal vein thrombosis and pulmonary thrombosis have been reported. Deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary thromboembolism are significant causes of mortality in patients with inflammatory bowel disease. A 48-year-old woman was diagnosed as inflammatory bowel disease on colonoscopy and histology. We used hydrocortisone and mesalazine for the treatment of disease. Nineteen days later, she complained of abrupt dyspnea. Pulmonary CT angiography revealed a thromboembolism in right pulmonary arteries. After the treatment of heparin therapy, follow-up pulmonary CT angiography showed significant improvement of previously thrombosed pulmonary arteries. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2009;53:48-52)
