Fin-tube type(Fin-type) heat exchanger has been tested in order to replace the heat exchanger of parallel flow type(P.F-type) which is now widly used in automobile air conditioning system. The following conclusions are drawn by the comparison of the characteristics of the heat exchangers. Evaporator and condenser capacities and COP(Coefficience of performance) were varied as with the compressor speed, outdoor air temperature and air flow rate changed, which much influenced on the characteristics of the air conditioning system. Evaporator and condenser capacities were increased with increasing compressor speed and outdoor air temperature. Evaporator and condenser pressures of Fin- type were decreased by 7% and 5% respectively compared with those of P.F-type. The COP of Fin-type was decreased with increasing outdoor air temperature and compressor speed. The COP of P.F-type was decreased by 14% compared with that of Fin-type.

The bio-micro pin has been usually used for the biochemistry analysis. The manufacturing capability of the micro-pin and the their array with the effective and low-cost way is very important and it gives great economical benefits to developers. The micro-pin is composed of the sample channel for holding the liquid with the fixed volume, the flat tip which determines the printing quality and the pin head for preventing the rotation of the pin in the holder. In this study, we have manufactured newly designed micro-pins by the wire-EDM process with special jigs, and analyzed liquid holding and printing characteristics with respect to the variation of the shape and the tip size of the micro-pin.

Water softening is a very promising field for membranes and especially ultra low pressure membranes. Nanofiltration membranes based on pore-filling technology was prepared by using a new technique: the in-situ cross-linking. This route involves introducing a pre-formed polymer into the pores of a host membrane and then locking the polymer in the pores by in-situ cross-linking with an appropriate reagent. By this way, it is possible to make robust and competitive, pore-filled, anion-exchange membranes with excellent control over the properties of the incorporated gel without affecting the host membrane. In this paper, the possibilities of tuning such membranes for ultra low pressure water softening was examined by altering pore-filling chemistry (by changing cross-linking and aminating reagents). The results showed that tuning the chemistry of the pore-filling has important effects. In particularly, it had been shown that the correct selection of cross-linking reagent was not only essential to get pore-filled membranes but it could control their properties. Moreover, the aminating reagent could improve membrane performance. It was found that an increase in hydrophobicity could improve the Darcy permeability.

<P>This paper presents the latest results in the use of soluble materials, such as organic semiconductors (OSCs) and gate-dielectrics, for simplified processing of organic thin film transistors (OTFTs). In this work, the fabrication of a solution-processed OTFT, with 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene (TIPS-pentacene) and TIPS-pentacene mixed with poly(4-vinylbiphenyl) (PVBP) as the OSC, and propyleneglycolmonomethyletheracetate (PGMEA) as the gate-dielectric, is described. From electrical measurements, we observed exemplary I-V characteristics for these TFTs. Device performance characteristics have been obtained, including the charge carrier mobility (micro) of 1.47 x 10(-2) cm2Ns, threshold voltage (V(T)) of -11.36 V, current on/off ratio (I(ON/OFF)) of 1.08 x 10(4), sub-threshold swing (SS) of 2.13 V/decade for an OTFT with PVBP blended TIPS-pentacene and micro of 1.39 x 10(-4) cm2/Vs, V(T) of 0.7 V, I(ON/OFF) of 1.64 x 10(3), SS of 4.21 V/decade for an OTFT without polymer binder, individually.</P>

여름철에 고온 스트레스로 인하여 산란계의 산란율이 다른 계절에 비하여 현저히 낮다. 따라서 본 연구는 여름철 기후조건에서 산란율과 계사 내 1일 최고온도 사이의 관계, 산란율과 음수량 사이의 관계, 산란율과 사료섭취량 사이의 관계 등을 구명하기 위하여 수행되었으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 산란계사 내의 1일 최고온도가 33℃ 이상이 되었을 때 산란율이 현저히 저하되었고, 음수량과 사료섭취량이 각각 490 mL bird-1 day-1, 240 g bird-1 day-1까지 증가함에 따라 산란율이 급격히 증가하였으나 그 이상에서는 거의 증가하지 않았다. 이상의 연구결과를 고려해 볼 때, 여름철에 산란계의 산란율을 향상시키기 위해서는 지붕을 충분히 단열처리하고, 만약 지붕이 단열처리 되지 않았다면 차광막을 설치하며, 하루 중에 최고 온도가 되는 오후 2시경을 전·후로 지붕에 시원한 물을 살수하며, 15℃ 정도의 시원한 물을 제공하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to determine the effect of heat stress on laying hen performance during summer. A total of 180 Hyline-brown layers, 98 days of age, were housed in a enclosed house. The daily maximum temperature in the house was ranged 26~36℃. The egg production was markedly fallen than other days when daily maximum temperature in the layer house became more than 33℃. As water intake and feed intake increased to 490 mL bird-1 day-1 and 240 g bird-1 day-1, the egg production soared. But it was hardly increased more than them. Based on these results, layer house roof should be amply insulated to improve the egg production of layers. If not insulated, the shade curtain should be installed above roof and cool water sprayed before and after 2 p.m. And layers should be provided cool drinking water of about 15℃ in the day time.
한국 성인을 대상으로 한 전산화 신경인지기능검사 Cognitrone의 표준화 예비연구

연구목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 전산화 신경인지기능 검사집 Vienna Test System에 포함된 Cognitrone 검사의 한국인 성인 표준자료를 확립하는 것이다. Cognitrone 검사는 시지각 분석능력의 평가를 위주로 하며. 지속적 주의력. 시각적 즉각기억력, 정보처리 속도 등을 반영하는 복합적 과제이다. 방 법: 18세 이상의 남녀 정상인 자원자 353명을 대상으로 Cognitrone 검사를 시행하였다. 채점 항목은 전체 정반응 수, 있음으로 대답한 정반응 수, 없음으로 대답한 정반응 수. 있음으로 대답한 정반응의 평균 반응시간. 얼음으로 대답한 정반응의 평균 반응시간 등 5개 항목으로 하였다. 전체 대상군을 성별. 연령및 학력에 근거하여 여러 개의 소집단으로 구분한 후. 성적인 유사한 집단들은 서로 합쳐서 표준자료를 산출하였으며, 충분한 사례수가 확보되지 않은 집단은 산출 대상에서 제외하였다. 결과: 정반응수와 관련된 3개 변수에 대해서는 18∼50세 고졸이상남녀 대상군 240명에 대한 단일 표준자료가 산출되었다 두 가지 반응시간 변수에 대해서는 고졸이상의 남녀 대상군을 18∼30세, 31∼50세의 두 집단으로 나누어 각각에 대한 표준자료가 산출되었다. 결 론: 전산화 신경인지기능 검사인 Cognitrone 검사의 한국인 성인 표준자료가 제시되었다. 이를 토대로 향후 국내 임상과 연구에서 Cognitrone 검사가 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Objectives : Cognitrone Test is one of the computerized neurocognitive tests included in Vienna Test System. It assesses the ability of visuo-perceptual analysis, continuous attention and the speed of information-processing. The present study aims at presenting the normative data of Korean adults for Cognitrone Test. Methods : Cognitrone Test was administered to 353 healthy Korean volunteers aged 18 years and over. Number of correct responses, number of correct Yes-responses, number of correct No-responses, mean time of correct Yes-responses, and mean time of correct No-responses were measured in each individual. Initially the subjects were subgrouped by sex, age and educational level. And the subgroups showing similar levels of functioning were put together and analyzed as a larger unitary group. The subgroups without enough number of cases were excluded from the analysis. Results : Summary scores for five variables of Cognitrone Test were given in the form of percentile and T-score distribution. for three variables representing the correctness of responses, normative data of unitary group(aged 18 to 50 years & educated more than 12 years) were presented. For two variables representing the speed of information processing, normative data of two groups(one ; aged 18 to 30 years & educated more than 12 years, the other : aged 31 to 50 years & educated more than 12 years) were presented. Conclusions: The normative data of Cognitrone Test presented would be very useful in both clinical practics and research.
