        In situ analysis of chemical components induced by steaming between fresh ginseng, steamed ginseng, and red ginseng

        Background: The chemical constituents of Panax ginseng are changed by processing methods such as steaming or sun drying. In the present study, the chemical change of Panax ginseng induced by steaming was monitored in situ. Methods: Samples were separated from the same ginseng root by incision during the steaming process, for in situ monitoring. Sampling was sequentially performed in three stages; FG (fresh ginseng) / SG (steamed ginseng) / RG (red ginseng) and 60 samples were prepared and freeze dried. The samples were then analyzed to determine 43 constituents among three stages of P. ginseng. Results: The results showed that six malonyl-ginsenoside (Rg1, Rb1, Rb3, Rc, Rd, Rb2) and 15 amino acids were decreased in concentration during the steaming process. In contrast, ginsenoside-Rh1, 20(S)-Rg2, 20(S, R)-Rg3 and Maillard reaction product such as AF (arginine-fructose), AFG (arginine-fructoseglucose), and maltol were newly generated or their concentrations were increased. Conclusion: This study elucidates the dynamic changes in the chemical components of P. ginseng when the steaming process was induced. These results are thought to be helpful for quality control and standardization of herbal drugs using P. ginseng and they also provide a scientific basis for pharmacological research of processed ginseng (Red ginseng).

        From feasibility or design phase of construction project, it is very important to estimate project cost accurately. In the early stage of construction project, there is not enough time and information of design, quantity and cost data, and it is very difficult to make accurate cost estimate. In order to predict accurate project cost without enough project information, historical cost database and quick calculation method to quantify the size and quantity of current project design are required. Currently, BIM(Building Information Modeling) can be useful to estimate them. however, it is required to do preliminary cost estimate in early stage with simple model and minimum effort. In order for this, we tried to develop the prototype system of BIM based preliminary estimate using building elements combination database.

        The finishing process of die requires the processing technique of a height efficiency and precision. Because the precision of die gives the quality of goods the influence directly. However a finishing process of die depends on the experience of expert and has been composed of the manual. Research about the automation of a finishing process which uses the construction machine have been processed. By the way, it is difficult to do finishing automatically with machine at parts which is hard to cut, so finishing process is still worked by the experts. The hydro-static polishing device employs the hydro-static axis and is able to polish the structure of complex picture under the constant pressure. Besides, inexperienced persons can easily produce the tool path with HMI technique which is mixed teaching of the robot and NC numerical control. The polishing is a process finely cut workpiece by relative motion of abrasive grain which is positioned between tool and workpiece. In the hydro-static polishing, polishing characteristic needs to be considered by relative motion of abrasive grain. Because the surface quality of workpiece depends on polishing pattern which relates to motion of abrasive grain. In this paper, in order to polish precision sculptured surface, polishing characteristic is estimated by polishing conditions which are size of abrasive, material of tools, and polishing patterns.

      • 소형궤도열차 시스템 설계

        본 논문에서는 교통 분야의 새로운 미래 성장동력분야 창출로 Global Standard도출하여 세계시장 선점 및 진출하자는 거대한 목표에 따라 IT기반의 네트워크 운행제어 시스템을 바탕으로 차량, 전력, 분기, 선로 구축물 등의 하부시스템의 각종방식을 비교 및 검토하여 열차 시스템에 부합되게 선정하는 시스템설계를 수행하였다. 본 소형궤도열차시스템은 전세계적으로 영업운행 중인 노선이 없고, 운영 및 설계개념, 시스템 구성 등도 나라마다 상이하여 시스템의 개념정립을 통한 개발목표 사양(안)을 결정하는데 크게 참고가 될 만한 해외시스템이 많지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이와 같이 제한된 창고자료와 경량전철시스템 기술개발사업에서 축적된 시스템엔지니어링 기술을 활용하여 첨단성, 친환경성, 경제성을 갖춘 소형궤도열차 시스템의 설계를 수행하였고 시스템을 구성하는 하부시스템을 정의하였다.

      • 아라키돈산이 풍부한 곰팡이 추출 기름(ARASCO)의 도포가 쥐의 피부 화상 회복에 미치는 영향

        Mortierella alpina, a common soil fungus, is the most efficient organism to produce an arachdonic acid. Since arachidonic acid are important in cell membrane structure as phospholipids components, it was undertaken the healing effect of spreading at burned skin as an ointment. Arachidonic acid rich oil derived from Mortierella alpina (the name of Martek, ARASCO) was subjected to establish for the treatment of burned skin. This study was searched the healing effect in burned tissues of ARASCO by spreading skin once a day over all experiment duration, 32 days. Male Sprague-Dawley rats (±330g n=30) received experimental treatments 3 groups. Comparing group was treated soybean oil (linoleic acid rich) in burned skin for the role of essential fatty acid (n-6). No-treated group was set as control. There was no statistical difference in weight gain during experimental period. With the observation by naked eye, the healing velocity was fast in ARASCO treat at 3rd week of recovery wound. At the 4th week, soybean oil treated group followed up the recovery velocity. With the observation by microscope after sacrifice, numbers of hair follicles were more in oil treated groups than control, but there was no difference between groups in the length of epidermis, dermis and numbers of hair follicles. The length of hypodermis, where placed lipid and deep vascular structure layer with the function of support nutrition, ARASCO treated group had longest than others. Burned skin-healing need to treat any of oil; ARASCO was more effect than soybean oil. Further analyses would be needed to search cell membrane structure and treat arachidonic acid, with Mortierella Alpina extracted oil.

        도심 공간의 활용 극대화, 택시 수준의 편의성, 환경친화성을 가진 미래형 대중교통 시스템에 대한 검토와 더불어 양질의 교통 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 새로운 미래형 교통수단 확보로 국민 삶의 질 향상 도모하고 소형궤도열차시스템에 대한 Global Standard를 창출하여 세계기술 선도 및 세계시장 진출기반 확보하는 측면에서와 승객의 쾌적성, 프라이버시 보장 등의 측면에서 타 시스템에 비해 높은 편익의 발생과 교통약자 및 서비스 낙후지역에 대중교통의 door to door 서비스 제공이 가능한 시스템의 개발이 필요함에 따라 최상위 개발시스템을 정의하여 시스템 요구사항 및 목표사양을 도출하였으며 이를 토대로 개발전략을 수립하였다.

        지진하중을 받는 강뼈대구조물의 표준단면에 대한 다목적 최적설계

        본 논문에서는 지진하중을 받는 강뼈대구조물의 표준단면에 대한 다목적 최적설계 정식화 방법을 제안하였다. 다목적 최적화 문제는 강재중량, 변형에너지, 안전성을 목적함수로 구성하였다. 표준단면제원을 이용한 다목적 최적설계 문제를 효율적으로 해결하기 위하여 전역기준법(Global Criterion Method)을 이용하였다. 실제적인 대형구조물의 다목적 최적설계 문제를 효율적으로 해결하기 위해 전체 구조계와 구조 요소계로 나누는 다단계 알고리즘을 적용하였고 자동미분을 이용하여 매개변수에 대한 민감도해석을 이용한 근사재해석 기법을 사용하였다. 또한 전체 구조계와 구조 요소계의 연결을 위해 표준단면을 이용하여 단면 2차 모멘트와 단면적, 단면상수와의 관계를 희귀분석 하였다. 수치해석 결과 안정성을 고려한 강 뼈대 구조물의 최적설계 방법은 기존의 방법보다 합리적인 설계를 유도할 것으로 기대된다. An improved formulation for multi-objective optimization was proposed. This formulation was applied to steel seismic loads. The multi-objective optimization problem was formulated with minimum structural weight, maximum strstability. The global criterion method was employed to find a rational solution closest to the ideal solution for the optimization problem using standard steel profile, To efficiently solve the optimization problem, the decomposition meth both system-level and element-level was used. In addition, various techniques including efficient reanalysis technique intermediate variables and sensitivity analysis using an automatic differentiation(AD) were incorporated. Moreover the reamong section properties fitted to the section profile used in order to link the system level and the element level. From numerical investigation, it could be stated that the proposed method will lead to the more rational design compared with one.

        Small Rapid Transit System(SRTS) will be defined fully automated urban transit system providing a rapid and personalized door to door transport service. Conventional forms of public transit require passengers to collect in groups until a large vehicle is scheduled to travel on predetermined routes. In contrast, SRTS offers personal transport with no waiting, and takes passengers non-stop to their chosen destination. This is a transport system which is as convenient as, or in congested environments more convenient than, the car, but with minimal environmental impact. Accordingly the foundation study of choice system size for development of SRTS.
