        Investigation of One-dimensional Consolidation of Fractional Derivative Model for Viscoelastic Saturated Soils Caused by the Groundwater Level Change

        The Fractional calculus theory is introduced into the Merchant model to study the mechanical characteristics of saturated soils. Laplace transform is applied to the 1D consolidation and the fractional derivative Merchant model constitutive equations of saturated soils. In the transform domain, the analytical solutions of effective stress and settlement are obtained by solving the simultaneous equation. The Crump’s method is used to the numerical inversion of Laplace transform, and the semi-analytical solution of the one-dimensional consolidation is obtained. A series of parameters, such as the fractional order, compression modulus, coefficient of viscosity, permeability coefficient and the variation models of groundwater level, are studied. Considering the continuity conditions, the 1D consolidation equation of single-layer saturated soil is generalized to multi-layer soils, and then the influence of different boundaries on several kinds of consolidation behavior was analyzed.

        Flow ripple reduction of an axial piston pump by a combination of cross-angle and pressure relief grooves: Analysis and optimization

        This paper investigates the potential of flow ripple reduction of an axial piston pump by a combination of cross-angle and pressure relief grooves. A dynamic model is developed to analyze the pumping dynamics of the pump and validated by experimental results. The effects of cross-angle on the flow ripples in the outlet and inlet ports, and the piston chamber pressure are investigated. The effects of pressure relief grooves on the optimal solutions obtained by a multi-objective optimization method are identified. A sensitivity analysis is performed to investigate the sensitivity of cross-angle to different working conditions. The results reveal that the flow ripples from the optimal solutions are smaller using the cross-angle and pressure relief grooves than those using the cross-angle and ordinary precompression and decompression angles and the cross-angle can be smaller. In addition, when the optimal design is used, the outlet flow ripples sensitivity can be reduced significantly.

        Inward and Outward Starburst Feedbacks and Growth of Supermassive Black Holes

        Based on the major merger scenario we propose a simple model to investigate the relation between the starburst and the central active galactic nuclei (AGN). We argue that the momentum feedback from the starburst rather than from the central black hole (BH) plays the most important role in the main growth stage of both the BH and the bulge. We suggest that for small scale, the momentum feedback from the starburst may exist in two directions. The outward starburst feedback can blow some gas away to halt the star formation activity, and the growth of the BH is regulated by the inward starburst feedback. The final BH mass is directly related to the maximum star formation rate based on this scenario, and such a relation can be used to derive the MBH. and MBH.Mbulge relations, which are consistent with recent observations and simulations. Our result suggests that the BH undergoes its main growth in an obscured environment, which may be just the “pre-quasar” phase, as some authors previously argued.

        Using the $quot;bang-bang$quot;control the system can obtain the optimal time. But there have the chatter and the bad robustness after considering the practical factors. If we use the chang structure principle, the chatter will be diminated and the system will get the strong robustness. This paper adopted this two kinds of the principles to design the satellite attitute control system and the satisfied results were received.

        Active mass driver control system for suppressing wind-induced vibration of the Canton Tower

        In order to suppress the wind-induced vibrations of the Canton Tower, a pair of active mass driver (AMD) systems has been installed on the top of the main structure. The structural principal directions in which the bending modes of the structure are uncoupled are proposed and verified based on the orthogonal projection approach. For the vibration control design in the principal X direction, the simplified model of the structure is developed based on the finite element model and modified according to the field measurements under wind excitations. The AMD system driven by permanent magnet synchronous linear motors are adopted. The dynamical models of the AMD subsystems are determined according to the open-loop test results by using nonlinear least square fitting method. The continuous variable gain feedback (VGF) control strategy is adopted to make the AMD system adaptive to the variation in the intensity of wind excitations. Finally, the field tests of free vibration control are carried out. The field test results of AMD control show that the damping ratio of the first vibration mode increases up to 11 times of the original value without control.

      • Association Between the Ku70-1310C/G Promoter Polymorphism and Cancer Risk: a Meta-analysis

        Ku70 plays an important role in DNA double-strand break repair. Studies revealing conflicting results on the role of the Ku70-1310C/G promoter polymorphism on cancer risk led us to perform a meta-analysis to investigate this relationship. Ten case-control studies with 2566 cases and 3058 controls were identified. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to assess the strength of associations. The overall results suggested no association between the Ku70-1310C/G promoter polymorphism and total cancer risk. However, on stratified analysis, significantly increased risks were observed among the Asian population (GG vs. CC: OR=1.50, 95%CI=1.10-2.06; GG vs. CC/CG: OR=1.47, 95%CI=1.07-2.01) and population-based case-control studies (GG vs. CC: OR=1.57, 95%CI=1.12-2.22; CG vs. CC: OR=1.35, 95%CI=1.11-1.64; CG/GG vs. CC: OR=1.37, 95%CI=1.14-1.65). Additionally, variant genotypes were associated with a significantly increased breast cancer risk (GG vs. CC: OR=1.80, 95%CI=1.26-2.56; GG vs. CC/CG: OR=1.40, 95%CI=1.01-1.95).

        论中国朝鲜族非物质文化遗产的法律保护

        延边朝鲜族自治州是中国朝鲜族主要聚居地。中国朝鲜族非物质文化遗产的保护取得了很大的成绩。从2005年开始,延边州全面开展了非物质文化遗产普查工作。2006年以朝鲜族象帽舞为首的17个项目被列入国家级非遗名录。同时,许多中国朝鲜族非物质文化遗产也濒临消亡。目前中国朝鲜族非物质文化遗产保护的法律体系主要由宪法、民族区域自治法、非物质文化保护法等法律以及行政法规、部门规章、单行条例等。要提高公民非物质文化遗产保护的法律意识,严格依法保护,使得中国朝鲜族非物质文化遗产能得到传承和发展。 Yanbian Korean-Chinese autonomous prefecture is the main settlement of the Korean-Chinese ethnic minority in China. The Korean-Chinese intangible cultural heritage protection has made great achievements. Since 2005, non-material cultural heritage census work has been conducting in full swing in the Yanbian Korean-Chinese autonomous prefecture. In 2006, led by Korean ‘elephant hat’ dance, 17 projects have been included in the national level intangible list. At the same time, many Chinese Korean non - material cultural heritage is also on the verge of extinction. At present, the legal system of the protection of Korean intangible cultural heritage is mainly composed of the constitution, the law of national regional autonomy, the law of intangible cultural protection, and other administrative laws, regulations and regulations. We should enhance the citizens’ legal awareness of the protection of intangible cultural heritage and strictly protect them in accordance with the law, so that the intangible cultural heritage of Korean-Chinese ethnic minority can be inherited and developed.

      • Systematic Analysis of Icotinib Treatment for Patients with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

        Purpose: This analysis was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of icotinib based regimens in treating patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Clinical studies evaluating the efficacy and safety of icotinib-based regimens with regard to response and safety for patients with NSCLC were identified using a predefined search strategy. Pooled response rates of treatment were calculated. Results: With icotinib-based regimens, 7 clinical studies which including 5,985 Chinese patients with NSCLC were considered eligible for inclusion. The pooled analysis suggested that, in all patients, the positive reponse rate was 30.1% (1,803/5,985) with icotinib-based regimens. Mild skin itching, rashes and diarrhea were the main side effects. No grade III or IV renal or liver toxicity was observed. No treatment-related death occurred in patients treated with icotinib-based regimens. Conclusions: This evidence based analysis suggests that icotinib based regimens are associated with mild response rate and acceptable toxicity for treating Chinese patients with NSCLC.

        The role and mechanism of lncRNA NEAT1 in the fibrosis of pulmonary epithelial cell

        Background Pulmonary fibrosis is a serious clinical fatal disease. Epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and lncRNA NEAT1 have been implied in its development and progression. Objective To study the role of lncRNA NEAT1 in the progression of fibrosis in human pulmonary epithelial cells (BEAS- 2B). Specifically, BEAS-2B was transfected with NEAT1 and miR-29c, EMT and cell proliferation were measured and the expression level of relevant genes was determined by Western blot. Result Results showed that NEAT1 promotes fibrosis and proliferation of BEAS-2B cells via the up-regulation of α-SMA, Vimentin, Snail and proliferation-related genes including Cyclin D1 and Cyclin E; miR-29c is a target gene of NEAT1 and through which NEAT1 regulates EMT and expression of proliferation-related genes. Conclusion This study investigated the mechanism of pulmonary fibrosis progression by elucidating the role of NEAT1/ miR-29c in the fibrosis and proliferation of BEAS-2B cells, thus providing a basis for the new therapeutic targets of pulmonary fibrosis.
