        중합방법에 따른 레진과 콤포머의 FTIR을 이용한 중합도 측정

        The degree of conversion(DC) of composite resins are closely correlated with the mechanical properties. Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR) Analysis is currently used to determine the DC for many advantages. In this study, three composite resins ; Aelitefil(AF; U.S.A.), VeridonFil-Photo(VF; Korea), Z-100(ZH; U.S.A.) and two compomers; Compoglass(CG; Lichtenstein), Dyract(DR; Germany) were used to make specimens with thickness of 0.1 ±0.02㎜. After one group of samples were light-cured for 20 second and those of the other group were Argon laser-cured with 0.23W continuous mode for 5 second, all the samples were kept dry at 37℃ for 24h. From the spectra acquired on an FTIR spectrometer(Bruker IFS 88, Germany), the aliphatic C=C absorbance peak at 1640㎝-¹ and the N-H reference peak at 3380㎝-¹ were measured using a standard baseline technique. The ratios of absorbance of C=C/N-H before polymerization to that of C=C/N-H after polymerization were used to calculate the residual C=C bonds. The results were as follows ; 1. The descending order of the degree of conversion was VF>AF>ZH, CG>DR in light cured group(p<0.05). 2. The descending order of the degree of conversion was VF>AF>CG>ZH, DR in laser cured group(p<0.05). 3. The degree of conversion of light-cured group was higher than laser-cured one only in ZH and not significantly different in other materials(p<0.05). In conclusion, the argon laser showed efficient curing capacity compared with light curing unit except ZH and the degree of conversion of compomer was inclined to be lower than that of composite resin.

        실신을 주소로 응급의학센터에 내원한 환자에 대한 임상적 연구

        Syncope is not uncommon problem that needs broad differential diagnosis. Correct diagnosis of the cause of syncope is important, because although some causes of syncope such as vasodepressor syncope have benign prognosis, others such as ventricular tachycardia may need prompt diagnosis and treatment. We present a retrospective study of the patients with episodes of syncope brought to Emergency Medical Center of Chung Ang Gil Hospital from January 1994 to October 1994 and the results were as followings. 1. The patients with episodes of syncope accounte for 0.5% of total Emergency Department visits. 2. The male to female ratio was 4 : 6 and mean age was about 54-years old. 3. The cause of syncope was identifiable in 48% of the case and not in 52%. The noncardiac cause(56%) was more common than the cardiac(44%) and cardiac, noncardiac, SUO(Syncope of Unknown Origin) ratio was 1 : 1.4 : 2.6. 4. 29% of patients were dignosed by history taking, physical examination, and electrocardiography when they visited the Emergency Department initially, and 88% of patients with identifiable causes were diagnosed through initial Emergency Department investigation and Holter monitioring. 5. The rate of correct diagnosis can be increased if initial investigation includes Holter monitoring, and the further research for more accurate, inexpensive and noninvasive diagnostic method for syncope is needed.

        A106 GrB강 용접부의 염수중 부식피로특성

        The horizontal corrosion fatigue tester has been developed for investigating environmental strength. Using this tester, we investigated about corrosion fatigue caracteristics for A106-Gr B steel weldments in 3.5% synthetic seawater and room temperature. Considered parameter is only frequency of 1, 3 and 5Hz.. and Corrosion fatigue crack length was measured by DC potential difference method. From the results, we could find that the horizontal corrosion fatigue tester could be well applied to estimation of fatigue strength. and, In case of 5Hz., corrosion fatigue crack growth path of A106-Gr B steel weldment was transgranular, and of 1 and 3Hz. showed that transgranular and intergranular was mixed. also, Material constants of corrosion fatigue crack growth estimated in each frequency were C=9.33×10^-9 and m=2.93 in 1Hz., C=9.77×10^-10 and m=3.47 in 3Hz., C=1.02×10^-10 and m=4.05 in 5Hz

        방사선학적 치근단병소의 크기와 특징에 대한 치근단낭종 및 육아종의 상관관계연구

        The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of radiographic lesion size, gender, age of patients and radiographic character to the diagnosis of periapical cyst and granuloma. The data was collected from 187 periapical lesions of 167 patients who undergone apical surgery at Department of Conservative Dentistry, Seoul National University Dental Hospital from 2003 to 2005. The lesion were surgically removed and send for biopsy to the Oral Pathology Laboratory. From the initial radiograph, lesion size was calculated using PiViweSTAR (INFINITT, Korea) program. The obtained data were statistically evaluated using SPSS (p<0.05). The result were as followings: 1. From 187 biopsy samples, the incidence of periapical cyst was 28.34% and granuloma was 65.24%. 2. There was a significant correlation between periapical cyst and the size of radiographic lesion (p<0.01). 3. There were no significant correlations between age, gender, location of lesion and the final diagnosis (p>0.05). 4. There was a significant correlation between the non-demarcation of the lesion and the incidence of periapical granuloma (p<0.01). 본 연구는 2003년부터 2005년까지 서울대학교 치과병원 보존과에 내원한 환자 중 치근단수술을 시행한 환자 167명에서 생검을 위해 적출한 187개의 치근단병소를 대상으로 하였다. 수술 후 조직검사 결과 얻은 진단명과 환자의 진단기록에서 환자의 성별, 나이, 발병 부위, 방사선 사진 상의 특징 그리고 병소의 크기와의 상관관계를 조사하였다. 초진시 방사선 사진에서 치근단병소의 크기를 PiViewSTAR (INFINITT, Korea)를 이용하여 화소를 계산함으로써 면적을 구하였다. 이를 바탕으로 통계 분석프로그램 SPSS (version 12.0K, SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA)를 이용해 방사선사진상 크기와 진단명과의 상관관계를 조사하였다. 나이와 진단명과의 상관관계는 일원배치 분산분석을 시행하고 성별, 부위, 방사선사진상의 특징과 진단명과의 상관관계는 교차분석을 통해 카이제곱검정으로 조사하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 187의 치근단병소 조직검사결과 치근단병소 중 치근단낭종의 비율은 28.34%, 육아종의 비율은 65.24%, 기타병소의 비율은 6.42%로 나타났다. 2. 방사선사진상 병소의 크기가 커질수록 치근단 낭종일 확률이 높았다(p<0.01). 3. 나이, 성별, 발병부위와 진단명사이에서 유의 한 상관관계가 없었다(p>0.05). 4. 병소의 경계가 명확하지 않은 것과 치근단육아종의 발생빈도는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다(p<0.01).

      • 복숭아 光合成能力의 時基別 變動과 品種間 差異

        복숭아 矮性台木 利用에 의한 樹形의 矮性化는 近年의 일이며 低樹高栽培의 實用化 趨勢에 副應하여 矮性台木으로서 有望視되는 Prunus Persica(壽星桃)로서 接首品種은 8年生된 白鳳과 白桃를 供試하여 6月15日, 7月15日, 8月15日과 9月15日에 걸쳐서 地上 3.5m, 2m, 50cm높이에 着生된 主枝의 側枝新梢를 採取하여 잎의 光合成 能力을 分析한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 白鳳의 部位別 新梢의 光合成 速度는 上部>中部>下部의 順으로 빠르게 進行되었고 照度가 增加할수록 光合成 速度도 빨라지는 傾向이였다. 2. 白桃의 部位別 新梢의 光合成 速度는 6月과 9月은 上部가, 7月은 下部가, 8月은 中間 部位가 각각 높았다. 3. 복숭아의 光合成 能力은 6月부터 8月까지는 점점 增加되다가 9月부터 떨어지며, 7월과 8월은 白鳳이, 8月과 9月은 白桃가 光合成 能力이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. There is a growing tendency of dwarfing fruit trees. So in this study the 8-year-old peach varieties, "Baekbong" and "Baekdo", engrafted on Prunus persica, which is promising for dwarf stock, were tried as experimental materials. The shoot sampling was done on June 15, July 15, August 15, and September 15. And the parts or smpling were 3.5m, 2m and 50cm above earth surface, respectively. The shoots were sampled from the outer parts of main branches, and the photosynthetic ability of the shoot leaves was analyzed as follows: 1. The photosynthetic rate of Backbong's shoots was highest at the top main branches; second highest at the middle ; and lowest at the lower main branches. As the light intensity increased, the photosynthetic rate became higher. 2. The Photosynthetic rate was highest at the top main branches in June and September ; in July, it was highest at the lower part ; and in August, it was highest at the middle part. 3. The photosynthetic ability of peaches increased gradually from June till August, but it decreased after September. In July and August, the photosynthetic ability of Baekbong was higher ; in August and September, that of Baekdo was higher than that of Baekbong.

        면역방사계수법을 이용한 Thyroglobulin 측정시 항 Thyroglobulin 항체의 존재가 미치는 영향

        연구배경: 혈청 thyroglobulin (Tg)은 옥소전신스캔과 함께 분화갑상선암환자에서 갑상선암 재발에 대한 추적관찰에 매우 예민하고, 중요한 표지자로 임상에서 널리 이용된다. 그러나 많은 수의 분화갑상선암환자는 Tg 항체인 항 Tg 항체를 가지고 있고, 이는 방사면역검사법 (radioimmunoassay) 및 면역방사계수 검사법(immunoradiometric assay)으로 Tg 측정시 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이에 연자들은 면역방사계수법으로 Tg를 측정할 경우, 항 Tg항체에 의하여 어떤 영향이 생길수 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 이중위치 고상법 (solid phase two-site)법을 이용하는 ELSA-hTg in vivo test (CIS international, Schering, France) 시약을 이용하여 Tg를 측정하였다. Tg과 항 Tg 항체는 검사시약에 포함된 표준용액을 사용하였으며, Tg는 두 가지 농도 (23.5 ng/mL, 62.5 ng/mL)로, 항 thyroglobulin 항체는 세 가지 농도(25U/mL, 50U/mL, 100U/mL)로 이용하였다. Tg가 높게 나타나는 환자의 혈청에 항 Tg 항체가 높게 나타나는 환자의 혈청을 혼합하여 동일한 방법으로 Tg 검사를 시행하였다. 통계학적 분석은 ANOVA와 Scheffe test 및 Quadratic regression modeling을 시행하였다. 결과: 면역방사계수법을 이용한 Tg 측정시 항 thyroglobulin 항체가 존재하는 경우 그 값이 낮게 측정되었다. Tg 농도가 23.5 ng/mL인 표준용액이 항 Tg 항체의 농도가 0, 25, 50 및 100U/mL 경우, 각각 24.5±1.1, 11.8±0.4, 7.7±0.1 및 4.5±0.4ng/mL로 측정되었으며, Tg 농도가 62.5 ng/mL인 표준용액은 각각 65.9±5.7, 36.3±2.2, 23.7±0.7, 및 14.0±1.0 ng/mL로 측정되었다(ANOVA test, p=0.000). 항 Tg 항체에 의한 Tg 측정값의 저하 정도는 항 Tg 항체의 농도에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다 (Quadratic model regression, SigT=0.000). 결론: 분화갑상선암환자에서 항 Tg 항체의 존재는 면역방사계수법을 이용한 혈청 Tg 측정으로 갑상선암 재발을 파악하는데 방해하는 인자로 작용될 수 있으며, Tg 측정시 항 Tg 항체의 측정이 꼭 필요하며, 항 Tg 항체를 가진 분화갑상선암환자에서 Tg 수치를 해석할 경우 세심한 주의가 요구된다. Background: Serum thyroglobulin (Tg) is a valuable and sensitive tool needed in the follow-up of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), but antithyroglobulin antibody (Anti-Tg), common in patients with DTC, can interfere with the assay for Tg. In this study, we evaluated the influence of Anti-Tg on the measurement of Tg using the immunoradiometric assay (IRMA). Methods: In using ELSA-hTg in vivo test (CIS international, Schering, France), a solid phase two-site IRMA was used to measure Tg (23.5 ng/mL, 62.5 ng/mL) under the absence or presence of three concentrations of Anti-Tg (25U/mL, 50U/mL, 100U/mL). We also performed Tg measurement using patients serum that was mixed with patients serum containing high Anti-Tg. ANOVA and Scheffe tests were performed to evaluate the effect of Anti-Tg on Tg IRMA, and an inverse regression was made to calculate the level of Tg from measured Tg and used Anti-Tg levels and also to assess the degree of effect of anti-Tg on Tg IRMA. Results: In measuring Tg using the standard solution, the presence of Anti-Tg resulted in a falsely suppressed Tg value. The IRMAs for 23.5ng/mL of the standard Tg solution resulted in 24.5±1.1 ng/mL under no Anti-Tg, 11.8±0.4 ng/mL under 25U/mL of Anti-Tg, 7.7±0.1 ng/mL under 50U/mL of Anti-Tg, and 4.5±0.4 ng/mL under 100U/mL of Anti-Tg. IRMAs 62.5 ng/mL of the standard Tg solution resulted in 65.9±5.7 ng/mL under no Anti-Tg, 36.3±2.2 ng/mL under 25U/mL of Anti-Tg, 23.7±0.7 ng/mL under 50U/mL of Anti-Tg, and 14.0±1.0 ng/mL under 100U/mL of Anti-Tg. (ANOVA test, p=0.000). The degree of suppression of the measured Tg value was positively correlated with the Anti-Tg level (Quadratic model regression, Sig T=0.000). The presence of Anti-Tg also resulted in a falsely suppressed Tg value for the Tg measurement using patient's serum. 2004). Conclusion: The presence of Anti-Tg could consist of the use of Tg as a tumor, therefore Anti-Tg should be measured in all patients diagnosed with DTC. The interpretation of the Tg level must be performed with extreme caution in patients with Anti-Tg (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 19:42∼47, 2004)

      • 참깨 育種을 위한 量的形質의 遺傳에 關한 硏究 : 참깨의 遺傳力 및 諸形質間의 相關에 關하여 Estimation of Heritability and Interrelationships of Some Characters in Sesame

        참깨의 育種計劃을 위해 참깨 82品種의 集團에서 8가지 形質에 대한 遺傳力 및 遺傳相關을 推定하므로서 量的形質의 效率的選拔과 形質間의 遺傳的 相互關係에 대한 有用한 情報를 얻기 위하여 本硏究를 修行하였으며 그 結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 1. 8個形質에서 開花日數, 生育日數 및 着삭部位長의 遺傳이 가장 높고 莖直徑과 節間長의 遺傳力은 가장 낮았다. 2. 가장 높은 遺傳相關을 보인 形質들은 이삭부위장과 草長間에, 生育日數와 草長間等에서 認定되었으며 遺傳相關의 값이 表現型相關 값보다 一般的으로 높았다. 3. 이삭부위장, 莖直徑 및 開花期間은 收量과 높은 正의 相關을 보였고 開花日數만은 높은 負의 相關을 보였으며 生育日數와 草長은 數量과 가장 낮은 遺傳相關을 보였다. 4. 遺傳力과 遺傳相關係數를 同時에 考慮할적에 開花日數와 이삭부위장이 收量의 主要構成形質로 보이며 增收를 위한 效率的인 選拔은 早期에 開花日에 到達하며 이삭부위장이 긴 系統을 選拔하므로서 可能하리라고 생각된다. This studies were worked out to obtain useful information on the effective selection and the genetic relationship of quantitative characters for the planning of sesame breeding by estimating the heritabilities and the genotypic correlations among 8 agronomic characters in the population of 82 sesame varieties. The results obtained are summarized as follows; 1. Heritability of days to flowering, days to maturity and length of stem with capsule were the highest, those of stem diameter and internode length were the lowest in 8 quantitative characters.(Table 3). 2. The highest positive correlations were shown between length of stem with capsule and plant height, and between days to maturity and stem diameter etc, genotypic correlations were slightly higher than the corresponding phenotypic correlations.(Table 5). 3. Length of stem with capsule, stem diamter and durations of flowering gave positive and highly significant correlation, but days to flowering gave negative correlations as the same level, days to maturity and plant height showed non-significant correlations with yield and with one another at genotypic correlation coefficients. (Table 5). 4. Taking the values of geritability and genotypic correlation into consideration, days to flowering and length of stem with capsule are important yield-contributing characters, these results suggest that effective selection for seed yield can be made by selection for lines possessing the characters to reach early flowering time and take long stem with capsule.

      • Durable Press 加工에 있어서 遊離포름알데히드의 捕捉效果

        This study was investigated on the effects of scavenger treatment for low formaldehyde release from durable press finished cotton fabrics using saturation pad method. And possibility of foam application in durable press cotton fabrics was investigated. Cotton cellulosic fabric was crosslinked with DMDHEU in the presence of magnesium chloride as a catalyst and polyhdroxy alcohols as a formaldehyde scavenger. Optimum concentration of formaldehyde scavengers on the durable press finished cotton fabrics were about 4%. Most favourable pH of the pad solution and wash water were about 5. The glycols and glycerol were the most effective formaldehyde scavenger. The glycol class of polyhydroxy alcohol is water soluble and is compatible and effective with crosslinking agent.
