Splenocyte, BMMC, eosinophil을 통해 본 단삼(丹蔘)이 천식 관련 염증세포에 미치는 영향

Objectives : Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways by many cells such as mast cells, Th2 lymphocytes and eosinophile. The present study was aimed to evaluate the effects of Salviae miltiorrhizae (SM) on T cell cytokine production, mast cells. and eosinophils, Methods : We screened 13 herbs to find compounds with potential to control Th cytokine production. using concanavalin A (con A)-activated splenocyte cultures. Con A-activated $IFN-\gamma$ and IL-4 levels in supernatants of splenocyte cultures. Bone marrow derived mast cells (BMMC) were incubated with SM and then the expressions of membrane proteins of BMMC were analyzed by fluorescence activated cell sorter (FACS). BALB/c mice sensitized to ovalbumin (OVA) were challenged with aerosolized OVA for 6 weeks. During the last weeks some mice were treated with SM. Then eosinophils in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALf) were counted and pathologic changes of lung tissue were observed with hematoxylin-eosin stain. Results : SM increased $IFN-\gamma$ level on splenocyte culture significantly. but had no significant effects on expressions of ICAM-1, CD62L, integrin $a_4$. c-kit, IL-3 receptors. CD11a, or IgE receptors of BMMC. SM treatment significantly inhibited eosinophil infiltrates in BALf and peribronchial lung inflammation. Conculusions : The present data suggested that SM may have an effect on Th cytokine secretion and eosinophils associated with asthma responses. Therefore SM might be of therapeutic value in treating asthma.
가미청상보하탕(加味淸上補下湯) 열수 및 에탄올 추출물이 천식 관련 cytokine 분비에 미치는 영향

Backgrounds and Objectives: A major goat in asthma therapy isto reduce or prevent the inflammatory response associated with bronchial hyperresponsiveness, reversible airway obstruction and airway remodelling. Many studies have shown that eosinophilic infiltration is a prominent feathure in the pathophysiology of asthma. The importance of the Presence of eosinophils in the airways of asthmatics has long been recognized, but the mechanism by which these cells are recruited and retained in the lung are only now being elucidated Production of chemotactic cytokines by bronchial epithelial cells may contribute to the local accumulation of eosinophils in Patients with bronchial asthma. This study was designed to investigate the inhibitory effect of extraction of herbal dicoction, Gamichungsangbohatang(GMCSBHT) on eosinophil chemotactic cytokines. Material and Methods:We used water and 70% ethanol extracts of GMCSBHT and pulmonary epithelial cell lines A549(human type II -like epithelial cells). We estimated cytotoxic effects of GMCSBHT, and estimated the effects of water and 70% ethanol extracts of GMCSBHT on chemokines from prestimulated A549 cells by sandwich ELISA. Results: Chemokines of eotaxin, IL-8 were inhibited by GMCSBHT in dose-dependent manner. And ethanol extract of GMCSBHT has more inhibitory effects on eotaxin, IL-8 than hot water extract. Conculusions: These findings indicate that the supression of the expression of chemokines can be accomplished by GMCSBHT treatment, so GMCSBHT may inhibit the iuflammatory process by eosinophils in asthma.

Backgrounds : Gamichungsangboha-tang extract has been known to improve pulmonary functions and quality of life within four weeks of treatment. Cessation of treatment causes recurrence of symptoms and regression of pulmonary function and poorer quality of life. Long-term herbal therapy is difficult to maintain due to economic burden and other reasons. AF-365 is made with reduced dosage of Gamichungsangboha-tang extract. This study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of AF-365 for maintenance therapy. Materials and Methods : The subjects consisted of 27 patients with asthma who had beed treated with AF-365 for four weeks. First, patients were treated with Gamichungsangboha-tang extract for four weeks. Second patients stopped herbal medicine for four weeks and after that they took AF-365. Pulmonary function test(PFT) was checked before and after four weeks of treatment. Quality of Life Questionnaire for Adult Korean Asthmatics(QLQAKA) was checked every two weeks from the beginning. The effects of AF-365 were analysed throughout the last four weeks. Results : Treatment of AF-365 for four weeks resulted in significant increase in PEFR%, QLQAKA. The QLQAKA of the step3, step4 group classified by Global initiative for asthma(GINA) showed significant improvement, and the QLQAKA of the step2 group showed no significant difference. In step3 group, PEFR% increased significantly. Conclusions : This study supports a role for AF-365 in maintenance of pulmonary function and quality of life, especially in persistent symptomatic asthmatics.
열중량분석을 이용한 열적열화가 비안전등급 케이블의 활성화에너지에 미치는 영향 분석

본 연구에서는 열적 열화기간이 피복재 및 절연재로 구성된 비안전등급 케이블의 활성화에너지에 미치는 영향에 대해 열중량 분석과 Kissinger 방법을 통해 조사하였다. 케이블을 구성하고 있는 가연성 물질인 피복재, 절연재 개별의 시편과 피복재와 절연재가 혼합된 복합시편의 열중량감소 특성을 살펴보면, 복합시편의 특성은 피복재와 절연재 모두의 특성을 포함한다. 또한, 0~40년의 열화기간에 따른 복합시편에 대한 열중량분석실험 후 활성화에너지를 계산하였고, 그 결과 열적 열화에 따른 차이가 미미함을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과는 활성화에너지 도출 및 복합재료의 열중량 분석 방법에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하고, 케이블의 열화특성 연구의 적절성을 제고하는데 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. In this study, the effect of thermal aging period on the activation energy of a non-class 1E cable consisting of sheath and insulation is investigated through a thermogravimetric analysis and Kissinger method. When comparing the thermal weight loss characteristic of each specimen of the sheath and insulation, which are combustible cable materials, with that of their combination, the results of the combined specimen contain characteristics of both sheath and insulation. In addition, activation energies with respect to the aging period in the range 0~40 are calculated after conducting a thermogravimetric analysis experiment for combined specimens. Consequently, we confirmed that there is no significant difference regarding thermal aging. These results are expected to provide basic data on the activation energy calculation method and thermogravimetric analysis method of the combined specimen, as well as improve the appropriateness of the study on the degradation characteristics of cables.
일본의 대중국 통상구조 및 전략변화 분석을 통한 중일 통상관계 연구

일본의 핵심 통상전략은 미국과의 협력을 전제로 중국과 경제관계를 강화함과 동시에 중국을 견제하는 것이었다. 그런데 최근 20년 동안 중국이 빠른 경제성장을 통해서 G2로 부상하면서 일본의 이러한 통상전략은 변화를 맞고 있다. 특히 오늘날 동아시아를 무대로 중국의 메가 FTA 확산 및 일대일로 구상이 구체화되면서 일본은 자국 중심의 세력 구축을 통해서 중국을 견제하려는 전략을 강화해 왔다. 하지만 최근 출범한 미국의 트럼프 정권 하에서는 이러한 일본의 대(對)중국 통상전략이 또 한번 큰 전환을 맞을 것으로 예상된다. 본고에서는 지난 20년 동안의 일본의 대중국 통상구조 및 전략의 변화를 분석함으로써 향후의 중일 통상관계에 대해 예측하고자 한다. The key of Japanese trade strategy was to strengthen cooperation with China and to keep in check with China at the same time, premised on the cooperation with the U.S. But in the last 20 years, China floated to G2 by rapid economic growth, it gave changes to Japanese trade strategy. Especially, as Chinese mega FTA in East Asia and the plan of ‘one belt one road’ were realized, Japan has intensified a strategy of keep in check on China through establishing the strength centered by its own country. But lately the U.S. Trump government forecasts Japan will take a high turn on trade strategy to China. This paper predicts future China-Japan relations by analyzing Japanese trade structure and strategy to China in the last 20 years. Future Japanese trade strategy will unfold to cope with China-driven East Asia trade order. Japan will press China cooperating with surrounding nations, and on the other hand Japan will act as a ‘mediator’ of trade conflicts between the U.S. and China. That way, Japan will tighten trade relations with China and enhance its own position in East Asia.
