V-groove device was fabricated for precision coupling of planar optical splitter and optical fibers. V-groove was made through select wet etching of Si wafer by using KOH solution. Etching rate and surface roughness were checked, changing KOH composition(10, 20, 30, 33, 40 wt.%) and etching temperature (50, 60, 70, $80^{\circ}C$) to fabricate V-groove device effectively. Etching rate was the fastest as $1.84\;{\mu}m/min$ in case of etching by 20 wt.% KOH on $80^{\circ}C$, surface roughness was the best in case of etching by 33 wt. % KOH on $80^{\circ}C$.

The purpose of this study was to analysis the manuscripts rejected for publication in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing Administration during the last three years six months (2012~2015 Jun). Methods: Seventy eight rejected manuscripts were analyzed focusing on manuscripts characteristics, such as rejection rates, year of submission, occupation of first author and corresponding author, number of authors, funding, thesis or dissertation, article type, study participants, number of reviews prior to rejection, and 3rd reviewer. Also reviewers`` quantitative evaluation scores and subjective comments were analyzed. Reviewers’ subjective comments were analyzed using content analysis methodology. Results: The mean rate for manuscript rejection was 28.9% and for quantitative research, qualitative research, and review papers the quantitative evaluation scores were 2.54±0.70, 2.39±0.69, and 2.39±0.69 out of 5 points, respectively. The most frequent subjective comment on rejected manuscripts was ‘lack of rationale for research need’. Conclusion: In this study the characteristics and the reasons for rejecting manuscripts were identified. These findings can be used in developing effective strategies for researchers, reviewers and editors to improve the quality of research and research reviews of nursing administration research.
간호사와 의사 간의 윤리적 딜레마 사례개발과 간호사의 의사결정 양상

This study was done to develop a realistic clinical case and investigate nurses` decision-making about nurses` ethical dilemmas with physicians in the fields of nursing practice. Methods: Case development and a hypothetical case study were used. Participants were 52 nurses. Data were collected in 2012 and 2013 using an open-ended questionnaire and interviews and analyzed using content analysis and descriptive statistics. Results: Various dilemma situations between nurses and physicians, such as violence, deathbed, medication·prescription, and physicians` incapacity·unfairness, were suggested. A clinical dilemma case about medication·prescription was developed based on nurses` experiences. Nurses` responses to the developed case situation and responses were classified into five types. Various reasons were given for making the decisions and about 56% of the nurses decided to notify their supervisor without deleting nursing records. Conclusion: In this study, a realistic clinical dilemma case was developed, and nurses` ethical decision making was identified. These findings can be used in developing effective strategies for nurses to solve ethical dilemmas and to improve ethical decision-making abilities.
수술실 간호사가 인지하는 간호사 및 의사와의 협력이 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify effects of perceived nurse-nurse collaboration and nurse-physician collaboration on nursing performance in perioperative nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was used and data were collected in September 2016. Participants were 186 perioperative nurses from three advanced general hospitals and nine general hospitals. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results: The mean scores were for nurse-nurse collaboration, 2.92±0.28 out of 4, for nurse-physician collaboration, 3.29±0.65 out of 5, and for nursing performance, 3.85±0.47 out of 5. There were statistically significant positive correlations among nurse-nurse collaboration, nurse-physician collaboration, and nursing performance. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis revealed that nurse-nurse collaboration explained an additional 29%p of nursing performance. Shared processes, conflict management, and professionalism of nurse-nurse collaboration were statistically significant predictors of nursing performance. The nurse-physician collaboration explained an additional 3%p of nursing performance. Sharing of patient information was a statistically significant predictor of nursing performance. Conclusion: Findings indicate that intervention programs that integrate and strengthen shared processes, conflict management, professionalism, and sharing of patient information are useful to enhance nursing performance.
가토 정맥에서 CT 조영제의 혈관외유출 예방을 위한 EDA 시스템의 실험적 연구

CT 검사에서 조영제 혈관외유출을 예방하기 위해 EDA 시스템을 개발하여 가토를 대상으로 실험적으로 혈관외유출의 검출 효율을 평가하였다. 7마리의 가토 IV 정맥 부위에 EDA 시스템의 스트레인게이지를 부착하여 조영제를 주입하면서 혈관외유출 검출 효율을 평가하였다. 조영제의 혈관외유출은 7건으로 혈관외유출 용량 $14{\sim}23ml$ (평균 18.86 ml), 혈관외유출 발생시간 평균 11.29초, 평균압력 109.71 psi, EDA 시스템에서 스트레인게이지의 분해능 평균 512.18, 진양성 7건, 진음성 19건, 위양성 2건이었고, 민감도 100%, 특이도 90%로 나타났다. 개발된 EDA 시스템을 가토에 실험적으로 적용하여 소량의 혈관외유출 조영제를 검출하는 효율이 있어 혈관외유출을 예방하는 효과가 있다. To assess the ability of an extravasation defection accessory (EDA) to detect the clinically important extravascular Injection of iodinated contrast material that was delivered with an automated mechanical power injector. The purpose of this study was to assess the ability of this device during clinically important episodes of extravasation. The EDA system was composed of a strain gage, an amplifier and a computer-based system. In the rabbit experimental cases, there were seven true-positive cases (range of the extravasation volumes: $14{\sim}23 ml$). The algorithm results showed seven true-positive cases (range of the extravasation volumes: $7{\sim}16ml$), nineteen true-negative cases, two false-positive cases and no false-negative cases. The EDA system had a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 90% for the detection of clinically important extravasation. The EDA system had good sensitivity for the detection of clinically important extravasation and the EDA system has the clinical potential for the early detection of extravasation of the contrast medium that is administered with power injectors.
