        열화학기상증착법을 이용한 Si 기판 위의 $SnO_2$ 나노와이어 제작 및 물성평가

        Vapor liquid solid 기구에 의한 열화학기상증착법을 이용하여 Si (001) 기판 위에 $SnO_2$ 나노와이어를 성장시켰다. Au 박막 (3 nm)을 성장을 위한 촉매로 사용하여 Si(001) 기판 이에 순수 SnO powder (purity, 99.9%)를 반응 원료로 대기압 하 $950{\sim}100^{\circ}C$ 온도 범위, $750{\sim}800\;sccm$ 아르곤 분위기에서 $SnO_2$ 나노와이어를 성장시켰다. X-ray diffraction 분석을 통해 성장한 $SnO_2$ 나노와이어가 tetragonal rutile 구조임을 확인하였고, transmission electron microscopy 분석을 통해 단일 나노와이어의 결정 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 상온 photoluminescence 분석을 통해 나노와이어 샘플로부터 600 nm 부근에서 나타나는 defect level 천이에 의한 넓은 emission band를 확인함으로써 성장한 나노와이어 $SnO_2$임을 확인하였다. Single-crystalline $SnO_2$ nanowires were successfully grown on Si(001) substrates via vapor-liquid-solid mechanism in a thermal chemical vapor deposition. Large quantity of $SnO_2$ nanowires were synthesized at temperature ranges of $950{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$ in Ar atmosphere. It was found that the grown $SnO_2$ nanowires are of a tetragonal rutile structure and single crystalline by diffraction and transmission electron microscopy measurements. Broad emission located at about 600 m from the grown nanowires was clearly observed in room temperature photoluminescence measurements, indicating that the emission band originated from defect level transition into $SnO_2$ nanowires.

        펄스 레이져 증착법으로 성장한 ZnO 박막의 마이크로 PL 특성 분석

        We described the growth of undoped ZnO thin films and their optical properties changing with a various growth temperature. The undoped ZnO thin films were grown on $c-Al_2O_3$ substrates using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) at room temperature, 200, 400, and $600^{\circ}C$, respectively. Field emission microscopy (FE-SEM) measurements showed that the grain size of undoped ZnO thin films are increasing as a increase of growth temperature. In addition, we were investigated that the structural and optical properties of undoped ZnO thin films by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescence (PL) studied. Also, we could confirmed that the exciton luminescence was strongly related to charge trap by grain boundary of the samples using micro-PL measurement.

        전립선암의 근접치료 시 금 나노입자 밀도에 따른 흡수선량평가

        국내 남성에게서 지속적으로 발생하는 전립선암을 대상으로, 근접치료 시 금 나노입자 밀도에 따른 흡수 선량을 평가하고자 하였다. 흡수선량 평가는 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 MCNPX 프로그램을 이용하 였다. 선원은 일시적 삽입선원 192 Ir과 영구적 삽입선원 103 Pd을 이용하였으며, 금 나노입자의 밀도는 0 mg, 7 mg, 18 mg, 30 mg으로 하였다. 그 결과 표적장기인 전립선은 192 Ir이 2.95E-14 Gy/e에서 4.42E-14 Gy/e로 밀도에 비례해서 증가하였으며, 103 Pd도 동일한 경향성을 보였다. 또한 주변장기에 대한 선량은 밀도에 반비례하여 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 근접치료 시 나노입자의 사용은 치료가능비를 상승시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was evaluated absorbed dose according to the gold nanoparticle density in prostate brachytherapy which was constantly occurred in Korean men. Absorbed dose evaluation was using MCNPX program which was applied Monte Carlo simulation. Source were applied 192 Ir which was temporary insertion source and 103 Pd which was permanently insertion source. And gold nanoparticle density was applied 0 mg, 7 mg, 18 mg and 30 mg. The prostate absorbed dose was increased in proportion to the density 2.95E-14 Gy/e to 4.42E-14 Gy/e in 192 Ir and showed the same tendency in 103 Pd. And surrounding organ absorbed dose was inversely proportional to the density. Therefore using nanoparticle in brachytherapy was increased therapeutic ratio.

        폐암의 정위적 체부 방사선치료 시 체적 설정과 호흡주기에 따른 선량평가

        저병기 폐암은 정위적 체부 방사선치료 방식이 높은 효과를 나타내지만, 호흡에 의한 움직임으로 인해 정확한 선량의 조사가 쉽지 않다. 이에 본 연구는 움직이는 표적을 대상으로 영상획득 방식에 따른 체적을 분석하고, 체적설정방식 및 호흡주기에 따른 선량을 유리선량계를 이용하여 평가하였다. 그 결과, 체적 획득의 경우 4D CT가 10.4㎤로 실제 체적인 12.3㎤에 가장 근접한 결과를 나타냈다. 선량평가에서는 ITV가 처방선량 10, 15, 20 Gy에서 각각 10.82, 16.88, 21.90 Gy로 가장 높은 값을 보였으며, RGRT가 좀 더 높은 값을 나타내었으나 호흡주기에 따른 결과는 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 따라서 움직이는 종양의 치료 시 4D CT를 이용하여 영상을 획득 후 ITV를 설정하여 RGRT방식으로 치료하는 것이 유리할 것으로 사료된다. Stereotactic body radiotherapy is effective technic in radiotherapy for low stage lung cancer. But lung cancer is affected by respiratory so accurately concentrate high dose to the target is very difficult. In this study, evaluated the target volume according to how to take the image. And evaluated the dose by photoluminescence glass dosimeter according to how to contour the volume and respiratory range. As a result, evaluated the 4D CT volume was 10.4 ㎤ which was closest value of real size target. And in dose case is internal target volume dose was 10.82, 16.88, 21.90 Gy when prescribed dose was 10, 15, 20 Gy and it was the highest dose. Respiratory gated radiotherapy dose was more higher than internal target volume. But it made little difference by respiratory range. Therefore, when moving cancer treatment, acquiring image by 4D CT, contouring internal target volume and respiratory gated radiotherapy technic would be the best way.

      • Optical properties of nitrogen doped ZnO thin films grown by dielectric barrier discharge plasma-assisted pulsed laser deposition

        We have grown, for the first time to our knowledge, N-doped ZnO thin films on sapphire substrate by employing novel dielectric barrier discharge in pulsed laser deposition (DBD-PLD). DBD guarantees an effective way for massive in-situ generation of N-plasma under the conventional PLD process condition. Low-temperature photoluminescence spectra of the N-doped ZnO film provided near band-edge emission after thermal annealing process. The emission peak was resolved by Gaussian fitting to find a dominant acceptor-bound exciton peak (A?X) that indicates the successful p-type doping of ZnO with N.

        휘트먼의 유토피아: 그 이상과 한계

        Walt Whitman spent his whole life to realize the ``Democratic Utopia`` in America. He always tried to show Americans his conviction of ``New World`` based on the ideas of equality that came under the influence of Quakerism and many political thinkers such as Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln etc. In his day, Americans were conflicted and troubled with each other due to their own regional and personal issues and interests. Whitman, not only a journalist but also a poet, described his ambition for the Democratic Utopia that is instinctive and equal regardless of a social stratum, difference, religion, race, sex etc. But his utopian ideal came to a deadlock in reality because of the deep-rooted selfishness of the American politicians and capitalists. With all the frustrations caused by the Civil War, Whitman continuously desired that his poems would help establish the Democratic Utopia in America and all around the world. So his utopian vision leaves a deep impression on the whole world to say nothing of Americans.

        Evaluated Absorbed Dose According to Prescribed Dose and Therapeutic Technique in Radiation Therapy

        본 논문에서는 움직이는 타깃을 대상으로 처방선량과 치료기법에 따른 흡수선량을 유리선량계를 이용하여 평가하였다. 타깃의 움직임에 따라 조사야에서 벗어나는 정도에 따른 선량을 MCNPX를 이용하여 모의 모사하였으며 그 결과 조사야에서 이격하는 거리에 비례하여 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 처방선량에 따른 흡수선량의 결과는 3D CRT의 경우 저선량에서 IMRT보다 흡수선량이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 대선량에서는 IMRT가 더 높은 비율을 보였다. 치료기법에 따른 결과는 3D CRT가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났으며, IMRT의 sliding window방식이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 3D CRT가 움직이는 타깃에 가장 높은 선량을 조사할 수 있는 기법으로 평가되었다. 하지만 정상조직의 보호효과와 환자의 상태 등을 고려한 적절한 치료기법의 선택으로 치료효과를 높일 수 있는 노력이 필요할 것이다. In this study, evaluated absorbed dose of moving target using PLD according to prescribed dose and therapeutic technique. First, result of MCNPX when target was deviated from exposure field was reduced dose in proportion to distance. According to prescribed dose, absorbed dose of 3D CRT was better than IMRT in low dose and IMRT was more better in high dose. Absorbed dose of 3D CRT was highest according to therapeutic technique. Therefore, 3D CRT was technique of irradiated highest dose to moving target. But, considered protective effect of normal tissue and patient condition that therapeutic technique was selected to maximized treatment efficiency.

        9/11 테러와 휘트먼의 유령들

        In 2001, more than three thousand innocent people in New York were killed by the terrorist attack. It's as severe as the carnage of the Civil War. The poets after 9/11 attack are like the ghosts of Whitman and their mentality is like Whitman's 'deja vu' after the Civil War. With the collapse of the World Trade Center Building, their self- esteem for the technological civilization was also crashed into Ground Zero. All the wars and terrors are products of human greed. Religious fundamentalists like al-Qaeda and arms traders associated with the military-industrial complex emphasize the political and economic interests more than Human Right. Whitman wanted everybody to be brothers and sisters with love transcending nationality, race, and hierarchy. His spirit is still strolling through the streets of Manhattan as a ghost shouting a message of love, not religious doctrine, reconciliation, not hatred, equality, nondiscrimination through the lips of modem poets of New Yark as his alter-ego.

        휘트먼의 시에 나타난 화해의 비전

        Whitman lived in the era of conflict. In the New World America, he watches a serious of confrontation between the race, region, class, gender etc. So Whitman as a poet of the body and soul, a prophet of democracy, wants to be a conciliators for our life conflict. First of all, he tries to reconcile with himself through the body because it’s very important to personal and social happiness. Secondly, he tries the social reconciliation by the comradeship based on egalitarian spirits. Third, he tries to be reconciled with death through intimations of immortality. And also he seeks immortality through the eternity of art. Whitman emphasizes that literature dominates and serves beyond all shapes the character of church and school. Therefore, he exerts his utmost to spread the spirit of “reconciliation” to destroy all the curses and hostility through his poetry. Therefore, we can regard him as a poet of reconciliation.
