        여성의 종사산업과 자연유산

        In Korea, female workforce has reached more than 40% of total working population, but the effects of work on spontaneous abortion are yet to be examined. This study as conducted to investigate the occupational effects on spontaneous abortion. Medical insurance claim data were used to examine the effects of the employment status and industry of employment on spontaneous abortion. The study population was composed of females, aged $15{\sim}44$, who were the beneficiary of medical insurance in the month of June, 1993. The working females covered by medical insurance for industrial workers, had the highest age-adjusted Spontaneous Abortion rate (SAB rate=claim frequency of spontaneous abortion/claim frequency of complication of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium), 6.65% whereas female dependants of medical insurance for industrial workers had the lowest age-adjusted SAB rate, 4.54%. Among industrial workers, the workers in manufacturing industry had the highest age-adjusted Spontaneous Abortion ratio(SAB ratio=claim frequency of spontaneous abortion/claim frequency of completly normal delivery), 43.2/100 whereas those in financing and service industry had age-adjusted SAB ratio, 16.2/100 and 20.5/100, respectively. The results of the study suggest the adverse effect of manufacturing Industry on reproduction. Work environments such as chemical exposures, overwork, awkard posture, and job stress should be further studied for their effects on reproductive functions of female.

        논문 : 비만 및 비비만 인슐린 비의존형 당뇨병환자의 영양소 섭취량 비교 분석

        This study compared the nutrient intake of obese versus non-obese non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM)patients for Diabetes Medical Nutrition Therapy. The study was conducted at medical hospitals in Gyeonggi and Seoul from April 2009 to November 2009. Fifty-six adult male NIDDM patients were enrolled and divided into two groups: 36 into an obese group (BMI ≥25) and 20 into a non-obese group (BMI<25). To conduct this study, anthropometric measurements,and daily nutrient intake of obese and non-obese NIDDM patients were measured. Daily nutrient intake was estimated by 24hr-recall and analyzed by the CAN program. In the results, anthropometric measurements of the two groups showed significant differences in weight and BMI (p<0.001). Daily nutrient intake of the two groups showed no significant differences, except for vitamin E intake (p<0.05). The total energy intake of the non-obese and obese groups were 2,669.9±964 kcal and 2,555.4±803 kcal, respectively, which were both above 113% of the recommended Dietary Reference Intakes for Korean (KDRIs). Cholesterol and sodium intake were 378.1±215.6 mg and 6,478.9±2755.1 mg,respectively for the non-obese group. Cholesterol and sodium intake were 308.1±155.6 mg and 6,306.8±2788.9 mg,respectively, for the obese group. Both groups were above 150% of the recommended levels set by the Korean Diabetes Association (KDA). However, their antioxidant nutrient intake was appropriate. Meanwhile, their fiber intake was 10.7±5.1g and 9.8±5.2 g, respectively, which was lower than 40% of the recommended intake set by the KDA. The results show that the nutritional education for obese and non-obese NIDDM male patients must aim to reduce total energy, cholesterol, and sodium intake, while increasing fiber intake. In addition, the factors related to a patient’s glycosylated hemoglobin, serum lipids, blood pressure, and weight change must be calibrated for the appropriate energy, fat, cholesterol, sodium, and dietary fiber intake.

        보도사진 이미지의 정치적 편향성

        본 연구는 보도사진 이미지의 정파성에 주목하고 언론의 정파성이 첨예하게 드러나는 대통령 선거운동 기사의 보도사진을 대상으로 평상시 언론사들이 보여주고 있는 일반적인 정치적 보도성향이 선거보도사진의 편향성과 연관이 있는지 확인해보고자 하였다. 분석은 각기 그 정치적 논조가 다양한 『조선일보』, 『중앙일보』, 『경향신문』, 『한겨레』의 4개 중앙 일간지의 제16대 대통령 선거운동 기간을 전후한 보도사진 516건을 대상으로 이루어졌다. 분석결과는 보도사진의 양적 측면에서는 신문별 논조에 따른 정치적 편향성은 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 이미지 측면의 분석결과는 전체적으로 보수적 논조의 『조선일보』는 보수 성향의 한나라당 후보에게 긍정적인 이미지의 사진을, 진보적 논조의 『한겨레』는 노무현 민주당 후보와 민주노동당의 권영길 후보에게 보다 긍정적 이미지의 사진을 게재해주고 있었다. 이러한 사진이미지의 편향성은 통계적으로 유의미한 수준으로 나타나고 있었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구 결과는 언론보도의 정치적 편향성은 가시적으로 드러나는 양적 측면보다는 비가시적인 보도사진의 이미지 속에 감춰져 있음을 말해주고 있다. The study examines newspapers' photographic coverage of presidential candidates in 2002 election in Korea(l6th presidential election). It assumes that newspaper's political stance may affect to photo coverage of specific candidate. That is, conservative newspaper may give more favorable photo coverage to conservative candidate and vice versa. Four major daily newspapers in Korea; ChoSun, CboongAng, KyungHyang, and HanGyeoRae were selected in regard to their political stance. The photographs of election coverage were collected for two months to compare the news coverage of the presidential campaign(from Nov. 20th to Dec. 19th). Total 576 cases are collected from four newspapers. Then, the frequency and the image of each candidate of news photographs were analyzed for each newspaper respectively. Analysis of image were conducted at 3 dimension; behavior, context and viewpoint The results show that there are no statistical evidence of differential preference between four newspapers in frequency of photo coverage. However, the photographic image of candidates were differ by their political stance. That is, ChoSun was more favorable for Yi-hoichang(the Grand National Parry's) while HanGyeoRae was for Roh-moohyun(the Democratic Parry) and Kyun-Youngkil. Especially HanGyeoRae gave more positive image for Rho than ChoSun did for Yi. As a conclusion, the study found that newspaper's political stance clearly related to a photo coverage of specific candidate. However, this bias was not appeared in a quantitative way, but in an invisible way on photographic image.

        유방암 환자의 식행동 수정을 위한 영양중재 효과판정

        본 연구는 유방암 환자의 식행동 수정을 위한 영양중재 효과판정을 위해 전문가 설문을 통한 통계분석으로 진행하였다. 연구의 대상은 2015년 12월부터 2016년 5월까지 강남세브란스병원에서 유방절제수술을 받은 30명의 여성 환자였다. 연구방법은 숙련된 임상영양사가 영양중재 전후 식행동 수정 및 체중 변화를 측정하였고, 운동, 음주 및 건강보조식품 복용여부에 대해서도 조사하였다. 연구결과 본 연구대상자의 평균 연령은 54.3±9.3세이었고, 월평균 체중감소율은 1.4±3.5%이었다. 영양중재 전후 식행동 수정변화 점수는 3점 척도로 측정 시 2.00±0.45 점에서 2.76±0.18 점으로 유의하게 상승하는 결과를 보였다(p<0.001). 음주를 하는 환자의 비율은 20%에서 영양중재 후 전원 금주하는 효과를 보였고, 운동수행 비율도 53%에서 영양중재 후 97%로 증가하였다. 건강보조식품의 복용 비율은 40%에서 영양중재 후 20%로 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 이상의 결과를 고려해 볼 때, 유방암환자의 영양중재 후 식행동 수정은 추후 유방암의 재발을 방지하는데 매우 중요하다고 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of nutritional intervention for modifying the dietary behavior of breast cancer patients. The study was conducted at Gangnam Severance Hospital from December 2015 to May 2016. The subjects of this study were 30 female breast cancer patients. To conduct this study, dietary behaviors and weight changes were measured, and frequency of exercise, alcohol drinking, and use of supplements were investigated. The results are summarized as follows: Average age and rate of monthly weight loss were 54.3±9.3 years and 1.4±3.5%, respectively. After nutritional intervention, dietary behavior modification score increased from 2.00±0.45 points to 2.76±0.18 points out of 3 (p<0.001). After intervention, the proportion of alcohol drinkers among patients decreased from 20% to 0%, and that of patients who exercise frequently increased from 53% to 97%. The percentage of supplement users decreased from 40% to 20%. In consideration of the above results, nutritional intervention and dietary behavior modification for breast cancer patients are very important to prevent recurrence of breast cancer.

        고등식물의 질산시그널에 의한 유전자 발현제어 관련 전사인자의 연구현황

        Nitrate is an important nutrient and signaling molecule in plants that modulates the expression of many genes and regulates plant growth. In this study, we cover the research status of transcription factors related to the control of gene expression by nitrate signaling in higher plants. Nitrate reductase is a key enzyme in nitrogen assimilation, as it catalyzes the nitrate-to-nitrite reduction process in plants. A variety of factors, including nitrate, light, metabolites, phytohormones, low temperature, and drought, modulate the expression levels of nitrate reductase genes and nitrate reductase activity, which is consistent with the physiological role if. Recently, several transcription factors controlling the expression of nitrate reductase genes have been identified in higher plants. NODULE-INCEPTION-Like Proteins (NLPs) are transcription factors responsible for the nitrate-inducible expression of nitrate reductase genes. Since NLPs also control the nitrate-inducible expression of genes encoding the nitrate transporter, nitrite transporter, and nitrite reductase, the expression levels of nitrate reduction pathway-associated genes are coordinately modulated by NLPs in response to nitrate. Understanding the function of nitrate in plants will be useful to create crops with low nitrogen use.
