        여성의 종사산업과 자연유산

        박정순,나명채,백도명,문옥륜,Park, Joung-Soon,Na, Myung-Chae,Paek, Do-Myung,Moon, Ok-Ryun 대한예방의학회 1994 Journal of Preventive Medicine and Public Health Vol.27 No.2

In Korea, female workforce has reached more than 40% of total working population, but the effects of work on spontaneous abortion are yet to be examined. This study as conducted to investigate the occupational effects on spontaneous abortion. Medical insurance claim data were used to examine the effects of the employment status and industry of employment on spontaneous abortion. The study population was composed of females, aged $15{\sim}44$, who were the beneficiary of medical insurance in the month of June, 1993. The working females covered by medical insurance for industrial workers, had the highest age-adjusted Spontaneous Abortion rate (SAB rate=claim frequency of spontaneous abortion/claim frequency of complication of pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium), 6.65% whereas female dependants of medical insurance for industrial workers had the lowest age-adjusted SAB rate, 4.54%. Among industrial workers, the workers in manufacturing industry had the highest age-adjusted Spontaneous Abortion ratio(SAB ratio=claim frequency of spontaneous abortion/claim frequency of completly normal delivery), 43.2/100 whereas those in financing and service industry had age-adjusted SAB ratio, 16.2/100 and 20.5/100, respectively. The results of the study suggest the adverse effect of manufacturing Industry on reproduction. Work environments such as chemical exposures, overwork, awkard posture, and job stress should be further studied for their effects on reproductive functions of female.

호흡기보호구에 대한 Saccharin QLFT 와 CNC QNFT 간 상관성에 관한 연구

        이상곤,한돈희,나명채 한국산업위생학회 1997 한국산업보건학회지 Vol.7 No.1

A quantitative fit test, condensation nuclei counting(Portacount 8025, TSI), was performed concurrently with a qualitative fit test, sodium saccharin(FT-10, 3M) to evaluate FF values and to determine the correlation between two methods. Two brands of full facepieces, T, S and two brands of half masks, T, S, were fit tested, respectively, on 103 wearers one time. The FF values obtained by CNC QNFT were lognormally distributed. The FF values for T brand of respirators were statistically very much higher than those for S brand of respirators. For a full facepiece wearer combination having a FF ≤ 100, as determined by CNC QNFT, the point estimate of the probability of that combination not being rejected by the saccharin QLFT was found to be 0.09 with 90% confidence that this statistic is not expected to exceed 0.25. For a half mask wearer combination having a FF ≤ 10, as determined by CNC QNFT, the point estimate of the probability of that combination not being rejected by the saccharin QLFT was found to be 0.10 with 90%, confidence that this statistic is not expected to exceed 0.23. The uncertainty associated with each estimate, however, is large due to the small number of study subjects with inadequately fitting respirators. This result indicates that saccharin QLFT may be more suitable for adequately fitting respirators than inadequately fitting respirators.

      • 일부 반면형 호흡보호구 착용시 안면크기 및 성별에 따른 밀착도 변화

        진수미,변상훈,나명채 高麗大學校 倂設 保健大學 保健科學硏究所 1997 保健科學論集 Vol.23 No.1

The fit of a respirator to the face of an individual can be determined by a qualitative fit test(QLFT) or a quantitative fit test(QNFT). A quantitative fit test, condensation nuclei counting(Portacount Plus, TSI) was performed to evaluate fit factors(EF) values. Two brands of half masks, M, S were tested on 110 wearers on time. This study was investigated how the fit factors resulting from a quantitative fit test(QNFT) depend on the movements in the six test exersize regimes. Fit factors were low when face lengthes were higher or lower than average values. And fit factors for men were higher than women for M respirator by 900. But FF values for men were higher than those for women by 100. Currant commercial respirators were situable for men than women. FF values were 4476.92 for M respirator, but FF values were 269.55 for S respirator. FF values for M respirator were showed higher values than for S respirator.

일부 반명형 호흡기 보호구에 대한 용접작업장에서의 Workplace Protection Factors(WPF) 평가

        변상훈,임호섭,김현욱,나명채 한국산업위생학회 1999 한국산업보건학회지 Vol.9 No.1

This study was conducted to evaluate workplace protection factors(WPF) for two half-facepiece respirators (HR-1, HR-2) in welding workplace and to provide data on the workplace performance of negative-pressure, half-facepiece respirators against airborne particulate contaminants. The outside iron oxide(Fe2O3) concentration of welding fume for the respirator HR-1 ranged from 0.177 to 12.508 ㎎/m with a geometric mean of 1.118 ㎎/㎥ and the HR-2 respirator showed a iron oxide range of 0.500 to 3.494 ㎎/㎥ with a geometric mean of 1.082 ㎎/㎥. But the inside oxide concentration of welding fume for the respirator HR-1 ranged from 0.002 to 0.364 ㎎/㎥ with a geometric mean of 0.019 ㎎/㎥ and the HR-2 respirator showed a iron oxide range of 0.012 to 0.639 ㎎/㎥ with a geometric mean of 0.041 ㎎/d ㎥ The iron oxide inside concentrations were significantly less than 5 ㎎/㎥(TLV) for both of respirators. The WPF were ranged from 3 to 3744 with a geometric mean of 60 for HR-1 and range from 2 to 129 a geometric mean of 26 for HR-2. And, in this study, the 5th percentile of the workplace protection factors for half-facepiece aspirators (HR-1, HR-2) were 11.2 and 7.1, respectively. The correlation relationship between the Quantative Fit Factors(QNFT) and the WPF for half-mask negative pressure respirators were 0.099 and 0.460.
