Partially BTIB Designs for Comparing Treatments with a Control

Bechhofer and Tamhane(1981) developed a theory of optimal incomplete block designs for comparing several treatments with a control. This class of designs is appropriate for comparing simultaneously $p{\geq}2$ test treatments with a control treatment (the so-called multiple comparisons with a control (MCC) problem) when the observations are taken in incomplete blocks of common size $K{\<}p+1$. In this paper we want to extend to partially BTIB designs with two associate classes for the MCC problem. We propose a new class of incomplete block designs that are partially balanced with respect to test treatments. Because the class of designs that we consider is larger than the class of designs in Bechhofer and Tamhane and provides us with designs that improve on the optimal designs in their class. We shall use the abbreviation PBTIB to refer to such designs. We study their structure and give some methods of construction. Also we describe a procedure for making exact joint confidence statements for the MCC problem in PBTIB Designs with two associate classes. We study Optimality, Admissibility considerations in PBTIB designs with two associate classes.

Bechhofer and Tamhane(1981) proposed Balanced Treatment Incomplete Block (BTIB) desings for comparing p test treatments with a control treatment in blocks of size ${\kappa}$. Notz and Tamhane(1983) solved the problem about determination of the minimal complete class for ${\kappa}=3$. However there are a number of design parameters for which BTIB designs do not exist. We suggest a new class of designs called Group Divisible Treatment Desings(GDTD's) that is a larger class including BTIB designs as a subclass. In this paper we give the minimal complete classes of generator designs for GDTD's with ${\kappa}=2,\;p{\geq}4(except\;prime\;number)\;and\;{\kappa}=3,\;p=4(2)6$.
한국 국제개발구호협력 분야에서 물리치료사의 참여 필요성과 물리치료과 학생들의 관심도 조사

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to survey the needs for joining of Korean Physical Therapists and the concerns of Physical Therapy students in the field of international development aid cooperation. Method : we conducted a survey of students whose major is Physical Therapy and employees and volunteers who participated in the international aid business of KOICA. Results : The results of this study were as follow. 1) Employees and volunteers who participated in the international aid business of KOICA recognized that there was the needs for joining of 1 to 3 or more than 3 Physical Therapist as a member of overseas volunteers programs. 2) Even though Physical Therapy students have a great interest in volunteering in the field of international development aid cooperation, they have few information. Conclusion : Firstly, there are needs to extend the participation of Physical Therapist to 1~3 or more than 3 in the KOICA project in the field of international development aid cooperation. Secondly, we should be able to give a lot of information and to make a plan for Physical Therapist students to be a member of oversees volunteers to enhance their understanding and recognition about international collaboration. Finally we could examined the needs for joining of Korean Physical Therapists and the concerns of Physical Therapy students in the field of international development aid cooperation.
A-optimal Designs in the Class of Group Divisible Treatment Designs

We deal with the problem of comparing a standard treatment with v test treatments in blocks of size k. For k = 2,3 and v = 4,6 we give tables with A-optimal designs in the class of group divisible treatment designs (GDTD`s) for any number of blocks not exceeding a specified number. Rules are provided to obtain highly efficient GDTD`s for larger values of the number of blocks.
유채(Brassica napus)화분에 대한 감마선 조사가 미생물 제어 및 화분의 품질특성에 미치는 영향

유채화분에 대한 일반성분 및 이화학적 변화를 최소화 시키면서 효과적으로 미생물을 제어할 수 있는 감마선 조사의 적정 선량을 확인하고자 유채화분에 0 kGy, 5 kGy, 10 kGy, 15 kGy로 감마선 조사를 실시하였다. 품질 특성 및 미생물 실험결과 조사선량에 따른 차이는 나타내었지만 전체적인 유채화분의 일반성분에 큰 차이는 없었으며 미생물의 경우 곰팡이 및 대장균군은 5 kGy 조사로 총균 및 효모는 10 kGy 조사로 검출되지 않았다(<10<SUP>2</SUP> CFU/g). 환원당 함량은 조사선량 증가에 따른 유의차를 보이지 않았다. 명도, 적색도, 황색도는 조사선량이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며 지질산화는 조사선량이 증가할수록 증가하는 경향을 나타낸 반면 휘발성 염기태 질소의 함량은 감마선 조사에 의해 영향을 받지 않았다. 따라서 감마선 조사에 대한 일반성분 및 이화학적 변화를 최소화하면서 화분에서 독소를 생성하는 곰팡이를 효과적으로 제어할 수 있는 감마선 조사선량은 5 kGy인 것으로 사료된다. This study is carried out to sanitize rape (Brassica napus) pollen by gamma irradiation. Rape pollens were treated with 0, 5, 10 and 15 kGy gamma irradiations, and then analyzed for the following: general composition, microbial population, reducing sugar, Hunter color values, TBARS (2-thiobarbituric acid reactive substances) values, and VBN (volatile basic nitrogen). Mold and coliform bacteria were not detected in the samples irradiated at 5 kGy or more. Yeasts and total aerobic bacteria were not detected in the samples irradiated at 10 kGy or more (<10<SUP>2</SUP> CFU/g). Moisture, ash, crude protein, crude fat, carbohydrate, reducing sugar and the contents of volatile basic nitrogen in the irradiated pollen did not show any significant changes by irradiation. Hunter color values, L<SUP>*</SUP>, a<SUP>*</SUP> and b<SUP>*</SUP> values were decreased with increment of irradiation dose. TBARS values were increased with an increment of irradiation dose. In conclusion, gamma irradiation at 5 kGy was considered to be an effective treatment to control for mycotoxin producing fungi in rape pollen to minimize changes of general composition and physicochemical properties. Further studies should be investigated to reduce the detrimental effects induced by irradiation.

본 논문에서는 좀비 PC에 대한 조기방역에 중점을 두고 있으며 감염된 PC에서의 악성코드 수집 및 대응 방법과 중앙에서의 악성코드 수집 및 분석 방법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 백신보다 빠른 조기방역으로 악성코드 분석이 끝나자마자 PC의 커널레벨에서의 접근통제를 이용하여 악성코드를 격리시키고 백신에서 치료 패턴이 업데이트되면 후처리하는 구조를 제안하였다. 본 연구를 통해 점차적으로 지능화되고 있는 악성 봇넷에 대한 대응 체계를 구축하여 좀비 PC로의 감염을 사전에 차단하고 조기에 대응함으로써 국제적으로 열악한 국내 보안 환경을 강화하고 악성 봇넷으로 인해 발생하는 금전적인 피해를 최소화 시킬 수 있다. 또한 악성 봇넷의 미래 발전 방향을 조사하고 예측하여 사전에 대비하고 국내외 악성 봇넷 대응에 대한 선도적인 위치를 확립할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
