Docetaxel is a new taxoid antineoplastic drug widely used for advanced breast cancer, ovarian cancer. Skin and nail toxicity are one of the more frequent nonhematologic adverse reactions. Especially, nail changes include dark pigmentation, subungual hemorrahage, acute paronychia, onycholysis, Beau's line etc. We have observed a striking example of multiple Beau`s lines from all fingernails and toenails in a man receiving a docetaxel infusion for treatment of metastatic cancer with unknown-origin.
스큐구조 영구자석 회전자를 갖는 2상 BLDC 전동기의 코깅토크 저감 최적설계에 관한 연구

본 논문은 2상 BLDC 전동기익 코깅토크의 저감을 위한 최적화 설계를 수행하였다. 코깅토크의 저감을 위하여 고정자치 형상에 관한 설계변수를 선정하여 최적설계 모델을 산출하였다. 또한 추가적인 코깅토크의 저감을 위하여 회전자 영구자석에 스큐착자 방식을 적용한 최적모델 설계를 수행하였으며 특성을 분석하였다. 최적화 과정으로는 Latin Hypercube Sampling(LHS)를 이용하여 Sampling point를 추출하였으며, Radial Basis Function(RBF)를 사용하여 근사화 모델을 생성하였으며, Genetic Algorithm(GA)를 이용하여 최적점을 찾았으며 이를 통하여 최적화 모델을 설계 하였다. 회전자 영구자석이 스큐착자 구조를 갖는 2상 BLDC 전동기의 최적설계모델은 시간차분 3D 유한요소 해석을 통하여 추가석인 코깅토크 특성을 분석하였고 코깅토크의 개선여부를 확인하였으며, 이를 통하여 제안한 설계방법의 적합성을 입증하였다.
피로내구 시험용 전자기식 선형 액추에이터의 추력 및 체적 최적화 연구

This paper introduces the optimal design process to effectively increase the thrust and decrease the volume in electro-magnetic linear actuator for fatigue and durability test machine. Finite element method is used to dynamic response analysis the thrust, velocity and displacement, and optimal model results are compared with initial model results. In order to increase the trust and decrease the volume in electro-magnetic linear actuator for fatigue and durability test machine, adjust the inner and outer radius of electro-magnetic linear actuator stator yoke. In optimal design process, the sampling points are chosen by Latin Hypercube Sarnpling(LHS) and from the results, the approximation modeling is made by Radial Basis Function(RBF) and then the optimization results are obtained by Genetic Algorithm(GA). The optimization results are verified by using finite element analysis.

풍력을 이용한 풍력발전기의 전력변환 시스템을 개발하기 위해서는 바람의 특성을 정확히 분석하고 이를 대치할 수 있는 모의시험 장치인 시뮬레이터가 필수적이다. 모의시험 장치는 풍향 풍속등의 인자들을 입력받아 회전자 블레이드의 토오크를 전동기가 대신해서 발전기에 공급하게 된다 본 논문에서는 풍력발전 모의시험 장치를 이용하여 750-kW gearless형 풍력발전기의 축소모델인 20-kW 모델 발전기와 고효율의 전력변환 장치 설계 및 인버터 특성을 위한 시험용 지그에서의 시험한 결과를 보이고자 한다.
십이지장의 악성 선암 및 폐색을 동반한 Peutz-Jeghers syndrome 1예

Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is a rare autosomal dominant disorder defined by harmatomatous polyps of the gastrointestinal tracts and the occurrence of melanin spots on the lips(oral mucosa), hands and feet. This syndrome is associated with a variety of gastrointestinal and extraintestinal neoplasms, both benign and malignant. A 28-year old male was admitted to our hospital with abdominal pain and nausea for two months. He had melanin spots involving his lips, buccal mucosa, hands and feet. A small bowel series showed luminal obstruction at the forth portion of the duodenum. And abdominal CT scan showed target-like mass suggesting intussusception on the small bowel. On laparotomy, there was an annular constricting mass adherent to retroperitoneum with metastasis to preaortic lymph nodes. Palliative duodeno-jejunostomy was performed. The histologic finding disclosed signet-ring cell type adenocarcinoma.

A Bacillus subtilis strain was isolated from the intestine of Sebastiscus marmoratus (scorpion fish) that was identified as Bacillus subtilis CH2 by morphological, biochemical, and genetic analyses. The chitosanase of Bacillus subtilis CH2 was best induced by fructose and not induced with chitosan, unlike other chitosanases. The strain was incubated in LB broth, and the chitosanase secreted into the medium was concentrated with ammonium sulfate precipitation and purified by gel permeation chromatography. The molecular mass of the purified chitosanase was detected as 29 kDa. The optimum pH and temperature of the purified chitosanase were 5.5 and 60℃, respectively. The purified chitosanase was continuously thermostable at 40℃. The specific acitivity of the purified chitosanase was 161 units/mg. The N-terminal amino acid sequence was analyzed for future study.

An agar-degrading Agarivorans sp. AG17 strain was isolated from the red seaweed Grateloupia filicina collected from Jeju Island. A beta-agarase gene from Agarivorans sp. AG17 was cloned and designated as agrA. agrA has a 2,985 bp coding region encoding 995 amino acids and was classified into the glycoside hydrolase family (GHF)-50. Predicted molecular mass of the mature protein was 105 kDa. His-tagged agrA was overexpressed in Escherichia coli and purified as a fusion protein. The enzyme showed 158.8 unit/mg specific activity (optimum temperature at $65^{\circ}C$ and pH 5.5 in acetate buffer) with unique biochemical properties (high thermal and pH stabilities). Enzyme produced neoagarohexaose, neoagarotetraose and neoagarobiose by degrading agar, and hydrolyzed neoagaro-oligosaccharides were biologically active. Hence the purified enzyme has potential for use in industrial applications such as the development of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability of 6-axis model surgery simulator (6AMSS) for orthognathic surgery. A rectangular parallelepiped plastic block was assembled to model-mounting plate of 6AMSS. Left-right (X), anterior-posterior (Y), up-down (Z) translation and pitching(∅X), rolling (∅Y) and yawing (∅Z) rotation was planned and performed using 6AMSS. The actual translation and rotation were measured with dial gauge and precisional protractor, respectively. Comparison between the planned and actual movements of plastic block for each variable were made using paired t- test. Statistical analysis for X, Y, Z, ∅X, ∅Y and ∅Z movement have shown no significant differences between planned and actual movement (P > 0.05). This indicate that model surgery performed with the aid of the 6AMSS is accurate in 3D translation and rotation. The 6AMSS is practically useful for accurate fabrication of surgical splint for orthognathic surgery.

The crystal structure of an enantiomeric compound di-(2-picolyl)sulfur dichloro zinc(II), $C_{12}H_{12}N_2SCl_2Zn$, could be elucidated with two space groups $P4_12_12\;and\;P4_32_12$. However, its absolute configuration with the space group $P4_12_12$ was confirmed by means of the effect of anomalous dispersion. 거울상 이성질체인 di-(2-picolyl) sulfur dichloro Zinc(II), $C_{12}H_{12}N_2SCl_2Zn$의 결정구조가 두 개의 공간군 $P4_12_12\;과\;P4_32_12$로 밝혀질 수 있었다. 그러나 공간군 $P4_12_12$를 갖는 그의 absolute configuration이 anomalous dispersion의 효과에 의하여 확인되었다.
