As a new type of messenger, emoticons have become visual marks and emotional words by making use of various characters. In this 21st century we live in, smartphones have been widely popularized, people are more and more willing to use emoticons rather than the traditional texts, because the former can better express and convey people’s emotional meanings. In this study, some emoticons which are based on their own real-life “Korean Wave” characters will be chosen from all WeChat emoticons for doing analysis. These “Korean Wave” characters include actors and actresses in Korean dramas and films, K-Pop stars, and idols from Korean entertainment shows. In this paper, the phenomenon of the fusion of society, language and culture, which is embedded beneath the using of those chosen emoticons, will be investigated Based on this question and idea.

인터넷 통신 언어 `우(牛)N` 구문 기제 형성 연구

This thesis aims to elucidate mechanism formation of 牛N structure, one of the communication languages, by analysing syntactic and semantic characteristics. For this objective, this thesis introduces the syntactic and semantic characteristics of various 牛 N structure, such as “牛X, 牛X的N, 牛人 and 牛(Ø)”; it also suggests analysis on the formation of 牛N structure in lexical semantics`, cognitive linguistics` and sociolinguistics` point of view. It is expected for this study to contribute to deep understanding on variation, changing, and development of 21st communication languages; and also, to be of help to comprehend general characteristics of communication languages.

시판 정유의 성분 분석과 다약제 내성균에 대한 항균활성 및 항산화 효능 평가

본 연구에서는 국내 시판 중인 정유의 화학적 구성, 항균 및 항산화 효과를 조사하였다. 정유의 성분 분석은 GC-MS법을 이용하였다. 정유는 그람음성, 양성 및 다약제 내성균에 대하여 광범위한 항균 범위를 보여주었다. 정유 5종의 항균활성은 40개 병원성 세균에 대한 MIC로 측정하였다. Lemongrass와 manuka는 0.0625-0.5% (v/w), tea tree는 0.03125-1.0% (v/w), thyme 0.0625-1.0% (v/w) 및 ravensara는 1-4% (v/w)의 MIC 수치를 나타내었다. 정유의 항산화 활성은 환원력 및 DPPH법으로 평가하였다. 5종의 정유 모두 농도 의존적으로 DPPH free radical 저해 및 환원력을 가지고 있었으며, thyme이 대조군인 ascorbic acid와 비교 시 가장 높은 항 산화능을 보였다. 5종의 정유 모두 고른 항균 및 항산화능을 가지고 있으며, 이중 thyme이 가장 높은 항균활성 및 항산화능을 가지고 있어 천연 항균 항산화제로써의 가치가 있다고 생각되었다. 본 연구진은 국내 시판중인 정유 5종의 성분분석, 항균 및 항산화 활성을 처음으로 비교 분석하여 보고하였다. In the present study, the chemical compositions and antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of commercially available essential oils in Korea were investigated. The essential oils were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The results demonstrated that they exhibit a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activities against gram positive, gram negative, and multidrug resistant (MDR) strains. The antimicrobial activity of five of the essential oils against 40 organisms was assessed using the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). The MIC values were in the ranges of 0.0625-0.5% (v/w) for lemongrass and manuka, 0.03125-1.0% (v/w) for tea tree, 0.0625-1.0% (v/w) for thyme, and 1-4% (v/w) for ravensara, depending on the pathogens studied. This study revealed that, among the essential oils tested, lemongrass and thyme oil showed broad antimicrobial activity against infectious bacteria. The antioxidant activities and the reducing power of the essential oils were determined with a 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay. Thyme oil exhibited the strongest antioxidant activity comparing with ascorbic acid. This is the first report on the chemical compositions and antimicrobial activities of commercially available essential oils against infectious bacteria and MDR strains acquired from Korean hospitals.

Chinese phonology is called ``juexue(絶學)`` in Chinese linguistics field. For this, students of in Chinese universities as well as college students in Korea is unwilling to learn it. Chinese character phonetic is a very valuable resource in Sino-China comparative study as well as the Chinese phonology area. This study was attempt to develop the content model on education of Chinese phonology, such as Middle Chinese, old Chinese, using close the data of Chinese character phonetic for students of Korea. In addition, I also make it known that contents of this paper is not a new discovery or analysis but recycling research of existing.

인터넷 e-book을 활용한 대학 고급중국어회화 수업의 플립드 러닝 모형 설계

This study will analyze the problems of the backward (obsolete) textbook contents and the stereotyped (imprisoned) teaching methods in classroom implemented by the Korean universities who teach advanced Mandarin conversation lesson in this digital era, and then put forward one possible solution called the model of "Flipped Learning"("Flipped Classroom" is also included), which could teach advanced Mandarin conversation lesson by flexibly using Internet E-books. The existing education's paradigm is discarded by teachers and students, and the textbooks' role is changing rapidly and dramatically along with the education spread and knowledge diffusion via Internet. Through the flexible usage of the latest Internet E-books, not only the politics, economics, cultures, media and press of Chinese modern society could be known, but also our young generation (post 90s, post 00s)'s thought and vision. In a "Flipped Classroom" which gives conversation lesson, it could be expected that weak study will and motivation could be stimulated; uninterested and dull lessons could be inverted into spirit-lifting ones which contain endless lively activities; and those students who used to learn passively could maximize their ability to solve problems all by themselves in their learning process.

중국 SNS 위챗 교수공동체 공식계정을 통한 대학 중국어 말하기 평가 실행연구

이 연구는 대학 중국어 말하기 수업의 평가방안을 마련하기 위하여 작성된 실행연구이다. 이 목표를 위하여 본 연구는 재한중국교수회(在韓中國敎授會) 학회의 공식계정과 메신저 채팅방에서 평가의 구성요소와 관련된 제반 설문조사와 토론 및 심층 자문활동을 실시하였다. 그리고 K대학의 <고급중국어회화> 수업과 접목하여 평가의 실험활동을 통하여 실제 적용 가능한 평가 요소를 제안하였다. 교육 전문가들의 실시간 연구와 실천적 참여가 있는 위챗 온라인 공간을 통하여 진행된 본 연구는 수업과 평가 연구의 연속성을 유지할 수 있었고, 새로운 해석 및 다층위의 분석결과를 지속적으로 창출할 수 있는 여건을 조성할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 얻은 연구 결과가 교육에의 직접적인 선순환을 높이기를 기대한다. This practical research aimed to prepare the evaluation scheme of college oral mandarin courses. To achieve this goal, plenty of questionnaire surveys, discussion, and in-depth consultation about the component elements of evaluation are implemented in the public account of the “Chinese Professors’ Association in Korea” and the messenger chatting room in this study. Furthermore, by doing some evaluation experimental activities, which are combined with K-University’s “Advanced Oral Mandarin” course, some feasible and applicable evaluation elements could be proposed. By taking advantage of the professional educators’ real-time research and participation in WeChat’s online space, this study may not only maintain the continuity of the courses and evaluation research but may also continuously create conditions for new interpretation and multidimensional analysis results. It is expected that the research results from this paper will enhance the direct virtuous cycle in education.

마인드맵 활동이 사고력에 미치는 영향 연구 ― K대학 교양중국어 수업 사례를 중심으로

이 연구는 K대학의 교양 중국어 교실 수업 과정에서 이루진 통합형 마인드맵 과제 수행이 인지적·창의적 사고력 신장과 지속가능발전한 학습 방법에 어떤 영향 관계가 실제적으로 있는가를 알아보는 데 목적을 두었다. 과제 활동에 참여한 결과물 분석을 통하여 아래와 같이 유의미한 결과를 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 마인드맵 활동은 기존의 교사 주도식 수업방식에 비해 자기 주도적으로 기억하고 조직하고 체계화하는 사고력 향상에 효과가 있다. 둘째, 마인드맵 활동은 학년이나 성별, 초보자나 유경험자나 다양한 전공 학습자가 보편적으로 즐겁고 흥미 있게 참여할 수 있으며 창의력 신장과 학업 성취도 향상 및 지속가능한 학습방법으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to find out how the integrated mind map task performance in the general Chinese classroom instruction of K University actually affects cognitive and creative thinking skills and sustainably developed learning methods. A total of 168 students participated in the homework activities in six courses during the two semesters, The results indicated that this group presented meaningful improvement in thinking skills. First, mind map activities are effective in improving thinking skill to remember, organize, and systemize self-directedly compared to teacher-based teaching methods. Second, mind map activities are a learning method that can enhance creativity and be used sustainably for learners of various majors regardless of beginners or experienced students.
