Especially, Stator Slot Discharge, Endwinding Discharge, DSS(Daily Start Stop) and WSS(Week1y Start Stop) have a harmful effect on the life of generator. This study and test make a experiment on EL-CID, Wedge compressed state check, PI test, AC Current test, Tan δ test, and PD test in BUKCHEJU Thermal Power Plant No.1 Generator, which have used in seventeen years. We can use the above methods to improve life cycle and efficient management of Generator.

Aging stabilities of the operating frequency of piezoelectric devices such as filter, oscillator and discriminator are very important. In this study it was studied aging stabilities of the length-extensional vibration mode of Pb(Zr$\^$y/O$_3$+ x[wt%]Cr$_2$Co$_3$ ceramics. PZT ceramics in morphotropic phase boundary have higher aging rates of k$\_$31/ and resonance frequency than those in tetragonal phase or rhombohedral phase. Thermal aging moves the composition with maximum aging rate to Zr-rich side in Cr$_2$O$_3$ not added PZT system. In the PZT system, aging rates of k$\_$31/ and resonance frequency for first 30 days are bigger than those for the following 90 days. Thermal aging decrease those for first 30 days. Aging rate of resonance frequency of the ceramics with x=0.1, y=0.53 and x=0.3, y=0.53 increased by thermal aging.

An 1 MW PV plant constructed at the Ara campus of Jeju National University in May 2012, which was the biggest roof-top PV plant in Korea and the biggest PV plant in Jeju Island at the time. In this paper the generation characteristics of the plant was analyzed on the basis of the data obtained during 2 years. The amount of electrical energy generated by the plant in July was less than those by the PV plants of the other regions except Jeju Island in Korea, which might be due to the long rainy season started in June earlier than the other regions. But those generated by the plant during summer season was more than those during autumn, which was different trend from the other regions in Korea. And the yearly capacity factor of the pant was 12.7% which is low relatively in Korea. The loss of the transformer in the plant, as expected, was shown to increase according to increasing the electrical energy generated by the plant. Summer"s transformer loss was greater than spring"s one in spite of summer"s generated electrical energy less than spring"s one, which tells that the transformer have the need to strengthen its cooling in summer.

The Jeju Special Self-Government Provincial Government has made the plan penetrating gradually electric vehicles(EVs) in the Jeju Special Self-Government Province(Jejudo). However the effects of EVs penetration on the electrical grid of the Jejudo is not reported. In this paper the yearly electric energy consumed by the EVs was calculated and the effects of the EV penetration on the peak power of the grid were analyzed in the Jejudo for the future 10 years, and we hope that our study results will help the governors realize the EVs penetration plan in the Jejudo . The calculation results show that the rate of the electric energy used by the EVs will become to 2.9% at its maximum at the 2017 year when the penetration rate of EVs in passenger cars becomes 10%, and the rate of the electric energy consumed by the EVs will become to 9.4% at its maximum at the 2020 year when the penetration rate of EVs in passenger cars becomes 30%. The concepts of smart-charging capacity and 100%-valley-filling charging capacity of the grid were defined and calculated for the Jeju Grid, and the grid was analyzed to have the sufficient EV charging capacity until the 2022 year.

발전사업자로 하여금 자신들의 발전량의 일정 비율을 신재생에너지로 발전하게 하는 RPS(Renewable Portfolio Standard) 제도가 국내에 도입된 이후로 큰 규모의 태양광 발전소가 전국에 걸쳐 많이 건설되었다. 본 연구에서는 전국에 산재해 있는 MW급 태양광발전소의 발전특성을 비교하고자 한다. 전국에 걸쳐 건설된 태양광발전소를 샘플링하여 연간 이용률, 계절별 이용률 등을 조사하여 비교한다.

풍력발전과 태양광발전 등의 신재생에너지원에 의한 발전은 전력소비가 증가할 때 전력공급자가 요청한다고 발전을 할 수 있는 것은 아니다. 전력소비가 피크에 있을 때 신재생에너지원에 의한 발전소가 어느정도 출력을 내는 지는 중요한 요소이다. 우리나라의 경우 태양광발전소는 하계 전력피크타임에 가동률이 높기 때문에 다른 신재생에너지원에 의한 발전보다 하계피크전력 공급에 기여도가 크다. 본 연구에서는 제주도에 건설되어 있는 1MW급 태양광발전소의 전국과 제주지역 하계 전력피크타임 일에 전력공급 기여도를 분석하고, 한국전력(주)에서 제공하는 전기요금제의 계절별 시간대별 구분표의 구분에 따른 전력공급 기여도를 분석하고자 한다.
