Can Coupon Holding Duration and Message Framing Increase the Effect of Push Notifications on Mobile Coupon Redemption? Evidence from A Randomized Field Experiment

We propose a mobile coupon strategy designed to increase the effect of push notifications on redemption. The proposed strategy recommends that firms deliver mobile coupons with distant expiration dates and remind them through push notifications framed negatively once these expiration dates become imminent, rather than frequently sending coupons with near expiration dates. We test the effectiveness of the proposed strategy using data collected through a randomized field experiment. The findings indicate that push notifications enhance coupon redemption rates for coupons that are held longer by customers than those that are recently received. Additionally, we found that sending negatively framed push notification messages to remind customers of imminent coupon expiration dates further resulted in higher coupon redemption rates. The findings can be employed to offer useful guidance on how to effectively design mobile coupons for achieving higher redemption rates.

It has been rapidly given to the importance of the embodiment of the efficient computer systems in university education. Since the recent trend of the adoption of the openess policy in university education systems significantly affects on the realization of the embodiment of the efficient computer systems which is very essential to promote the international competition in many areas of university education. So it is greatly needed that our Soonchunhyang university must have the following principles for the embodiment of the efficient computer systems. (1) It is required that the appropriate computer education and the good quality of research environment must be given. (2) The establishment of the synthetic computer network system for efficient the university administrations is needed. (3) It is needed to establish the computer system for the consideration of the future performance. (4) It is also needed to improve the organization and the administration systems of the university computer center. (5) It is required on the establishment of the local area network(LAN) systems in the Soonchunhyang university, and the LAN must be connected to other outer national and international computer systems. And we propose the following requirement for the establishment of the convienent computer systems in our university and we have been greatly though about the significant change of the environment in university computer system. [1] The subject of the basic computer must become as the required subject for the all students in the curriulum. [2] The new computer systems both in hardware and software must be introduced. [3] It is needed to the change of the present name of the university computer center into the university information and computer center. And its organizations must be furthur developed [4] The training center for the university emploee is also needed. [5] The establishment of the database systems for the automtion of the university administation is needed. [6] It is strongly required on the establishment of the local area network system in the Soonchunhang university to connect the Bitnet and the Internet through the Hankook communication. [7] The computerization for the central library is needed. The indepent local area network system for the library is also needed to establish the own database system. Finally we hope that the LAN will be connected to the national wide library computer system.

지역보건의료 거버넌스 구축방안

한국 베이비붐 세대의 자산보유 및 공적연금

한국의 베이비붐 세대는 한국전쟁이 끝난 뒤인 1955년부터 1963년까지의 9년간에 걸쳐 출생한 세대가 이에 해당되는데 그 규모는 약 713만명으로 총인구의 14.6%에 이르고 있다. 이들은 그 동안 우리 사회에서 소비와 생산의 중추적인 역할을 담당했던 사람들이다. 베이비붐 세대 중 취업자는 약 532만명 정도이며 이 중에서 자영업자와 무급종사자를 제외한 임금근로자는 약 312만명에 이른다고 한다. 이들 임금근로자들이 2010년부터 55년생이 은퇴하기 시작해서 2018년까지 9년에 걸쳐 대부분 은퇴할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 2007년에 시작된 일본 베이비 붐 세대의 은퇴충격이 총인구 5%에 의한 것임을 감안하면 단순히 현재 일본이 겪고 있는 것과 비교해도 약3배 정도의 충격이 우리 사회에 가해질 것이라는 것이 예상된 된다는 점에서 베이비붐 세대에 대한 관심이 증폭되고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 베이비붐 세대에 대해서 제대로 된 은퇴설계가 이뤄지지 않고 있는 게 우리 현실이다. 특히, 이들 세대는 부모 및 자녀부양 책임의식이 강하여 상대적으로 자신의 노후준비를 소홀히 한경향이 있다는 점에서 베이비붐 세대의 노후빈곤 우려가 발생할 수 있다는 점에 주목할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 고령사회의 주축이 되고 또한 곧 노인에 편입될 베이비붐 세대를 중심으로 이들의 자산상태 및 노후준비 상태와 공적연금의 역할에 대해 살펴보았으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 베이비붐 세대의 80%는 노후준비를 하고 있으며, 이중 38.5%를 국민연금과 같은 공적연금을 가장 많이 이용하고 있으며 그 다음으로 예금 및 적금(24.3%), 사적연금(19.5%), 기타(7.1%)순으로 나타났다. 또한 장래의 자신의 소득이 증가할 것이라고 생각하는 사람보다 감소하거나 동일할 것으로 생각하는 사람이 2배 이상 많은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전반적으로 10년의 기간 동안 경제성장 등으로 인해 개인측면에서도 절대적인 부의 증가는 있었지만, 축적된 자산이 은퇴 후 상당히 빠른 속도로 감소할 수 있고, 동산 자산에 의존하는 경우 유동성 문제로 인해 노후 빈곤에 처할 우려가 있다. 특히, 베이비붐 세대가 고령화를 이끄는 주요세대인 점을 고려한다면, 베이비붐 세대의 보유 자산에 대한 생애주기적 관리가 필요한 시점으로 판단된다. 둘째, 베이비붐 세대는 국민연금 도입 초기세대 이므로 제도 초기의 특징이 높은 소득대체율에 대한 이익은 향유하고 있지만, 제도 도입 시점에 이미 40대 전후 인 점을 감안하면 가입기간 효과로 인해 발생하는 이익은 적은 것으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 제도 도입시점에서 대부분 낮은 소득수준으로 신청한 경향이 있기 때문에 급여수준의 적절성 측면에서는 다소 문제가 될 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. 셋째, 베이비붐 세대를 위해 공적연금은 일하는 은퇴자에 연금혜택을 강화하기 위한 제도개선과 정년 및 납부기간 연장을 통한 사각지대 완화와 급여수준 향상을 도모할 필요가 있다. 또한 저소득층 보험료지원 제도 도입 및 베이비 붐 세대에 대한 한시적 특별 지원방안고려와 임의가입 및 추납 활성화를 통해수급권을 확보하도록 하는 것도 중요하다. 이외에 부부가입기간합산제도(가칭)를 도입함으로써 연금수급권을 확대 보장하고 선진국형 다층소득보장체계를 내실화가 필요하며, 기초노령연금제도와 기초생활보장제도의 재정비를 통한 노인세대에 대한 실질적인 노후대비마련이 필요하다. 그리고 현재 저소득층을 중심으로 정부에서 추진하고 있는 희망키움통장 적용대상을 연금수급권을 획득하지 못할 우려가 있는 베이비붐 세대에게 까지 확대적용함으로써 이를 통해 축적된 금융자산을 연금보험료로 납부할 기회를 보장할 수 있도록 검토해볼 필요가 있다 The Baby Boomer in Korea is the generation known to be born 1955-1963, 46-54 years old, and they will reach the age limit between the years of 2012 and 2020 assuming they retire at the age of 57. The number of Baby Boomer Generation amounts to 7.13 million, 14.7% of 48.45 million, the total population (estimated in 2009) very large in number. The Baby Boomer Generation play a pivotal role in consumption and production in Korean society until now. The number of employed person of Baby Boomer Generation is about 5.32 million people and wage workers except both self-employed and unpaid workers are about 3.12 million people. This wage workers are expected to retire from 2010 to 2018. It is expected to the Korean society will be taken about three times shock than that of Japan, compared to the Japanese society got the very big shock as the Baby Boomer Generation who has a 5% share in Japanese population is retired in the Japanese society. On the other hand, the Baby Boomer Generation is and will be influencing on so much aspects of social life such as economic demand and supply, consumption, leisure, culture, and social welfare. So, The Korean Baby Boomer Generation will soon leave from their workforce as they reach the retirement age and many people are interested in the Baby Boomer Generation retirement. Meanwhile, fertility rate is decreasing rapidly as a result of change of social environment, such as women``s high educational level achievement and participation in economic activities, late marriage in life and transformation of women``s life style. Since the mid-1990s, Korea has recorded low population growth rate. Based on the data provided by the Statistical Korea, Korea may be even confronted with decreasing trends in the total population at the end of 2010s. In addition, Korea may experience the hyper-aged society in the mid-2020s and Korean society is becoming the most rapidly aging society in the world. This coupled with the low fertility rate, many cause a serious social problem as well as the social welfare issues among the Korean population. In the future, Korean population will be rapidly aging while producing population declines. As a result, lots of unpredicted events would take place, and it is too sure that this changing of population structure may affect our economy and asset market. Especially the Baby Boomer Generation is facing the limitation of preparation for old age. Generally the generation of parents of the Baby Boomer Generation believed that devotion to family was the greatest value. They also generally believed that they can be dependent upon their children when they are old. However, the Baby Boomer Generation cannot take it for granted that their children will support them, due to the changed attitude toward supporting. They need to prepare for their aged life themselves, and the preparation should start as early as possible. But retirement planning of the Baby Boomer Generation is long way to go in Korea society until now. This paper explore provision and asset of the Baby Boomer Generation for later life for elderly and role of public pension for later life around the Baby Boomer Generation who incorporated into elderly and played a key role in ageing society of Korea. The findings in this paper indicate that first, 80% of the Baby Boomer Generation is preparing for elderly and 38.5%among them is the most using public pension like National Pension, followed by deposits (24.3%), private pension (19.5%), others (7.1%). The number that person who think their income will be increase in future is more than twice the number that person who think their income will be decrease or same in future. The property will continue to decline in future and there are worries it won``t be able to provide for retirement. Especially, the Baby Boomer Generation needs life cycle management for their assets, considering the Baby Boomer Generation leads the ageing society. Second, the Baby Boomer Generation joined the national pension early has been enjoyed the benefit of high profit from high retiree income replacement rate due to feature of early national pension system. But actually the benefit is not big because when the age of the Baby Boomer Generation is about 40 years old, they joined the national pension system. Also, I think that as they fixed the low salary level when they had joined the national pension system, they will get the problem in respect of the cash flow. Third, public pension like nation pension system needs to change system for benefit of the Baby Boomer Generation - ease blind spots, improve salary level, secure pension rights, invigorate people in voluntary national pension, consider special assistance and introduce a system of premium assistance for low-income communities of subscribers. It is important that enlarge pension rights through pension period subject to permit(tentatively named). Public pension needs to build multilayer retirement income security system and raise a substantial retirement fund for household of old age through basic old-age pension system and basic livelihood security system reorganization. It is necessary to examine guarantee for opportunity to pay premiums in the form of financial assets from ``Cultivating Hope Hooper`` low-income subjects applied to low-income groups who worry about pension rights.

In recent years, using a connected platform, companies have built and implemented a mobile viral marketing strategy to attract new customers and to have long-term relationships with existing customers. The emergence of interactive Web 2.0 has led to an explosive increase in customer engagement, and practitioners have become interested in connected platform to build close relationships with their customers. However, the study on the effectiveness of various customer influx methods using the connected platform that companies utilize for an increase of customer participation is insufficient. Based on the theoretical study of Sashi (2012), this study analyzes the actual mobile viral promotion of company A's open market shopping mall for the purpose of bringing new customers and having a long-term relationship with the new customers[1]. By analyzing the customer engagement type, the implications for the effectiveness of mobile viral promotion are suggested. First, as a result of the immediate effect of online viral promotion, promotions are partially effective in attracting new customers. Second, as a result of examining the change of customer engagement type in order to find out the long - term effect of online viral promotion, it was found that in most cases, new customers were not become satisfied customers and, Laggard Effect, which takes time to become a satisfied customer, has been confirmed. 최근에 기업은 신규 고객을 유입시키고, 신규 고객 및 기존 고객과 장기적인 관계를 갖기 위해 연결 플랫폼을 이용한 모바일 바이럴 마케팅 전략을 세우고 실행한다. 상호작용성을 가진 웹 2.0의 출현은 고객 참여의 폭발적 증가를 가져왔고, 실무자들은 고객과 가까운 관계를 구축하는데 도움이 되는 연결 플랫폼에 관심을 갖게 되었다. 그러나 기업에서 활용하는 연결 플랫폼을 이용한 다양한 고객 유입 방법들이 고객 참여 수준을 실제로 높이는지에 대한 효과성 연구는 부족하며, 따라서 이에 대한 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구는 Sashi(2012)의 이론적 연구에 기반하여 신규 고객을 유입시키고, 유입된 신규 고객과 장기적인 관계를 갖기 위한 목적으로 시행된 A사 오픈 마켓 쇼핑몰의 실제 모바일 바이럴 프로모션을 분석하였다[1]. 고객 참여 유형을 분석함으로 모바일 바이럴 프로모션의 효과성에 대한 시사점을 제안한다. 첫째, 온라인 바이럴 프로모션의 즉각적인 효과를 본 결과, 프로모션은 신규 고객 유입에 있어 부분적으로 효과적이다. 둘째, 온라인 바이럴 프로모션의 장기적 효과를 보기 위해 고객의 참여 유형 변화를 살펴 본 결과, 대부분의 경우 유입된 신규 고객은 만족한 고객이 되지 못하였으며, 만족한 고객이 되기까지 시간이 걸리는 지체 현상이 확인됐다.

Recently people have increased to climb mountain. Owing to developing IT technology, the number of people using smart phone have increased remarkably as well. In this context, the Korea Forest Service has implemented the project of Mountain Climbing Information Public Service(MCIPS). The purpose of the MCIPS is to support climbing safely based on a trail map of spatial data of GIS(geographic information system). The customer will be able to access the MCIPS through n-screen(IP-TV, Web Site, Smart phone, Galaxy tab) provided a broadcasting and telecommunication convergence service. In addition, the MCIPS would support two-way communication through connecting to Twitter and Youtube. The MCIPS will make the customer fun using Augmented Reality(AR) of Smart phone(Android) and contribute to protecting people from mountain accidents.
