학교 밖 청소년을 위한 지속가능발전교육 프로그램 개발

본 연구의 목적은 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 지속가능발전교육 프로그램을 개발하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 우선 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 교육프로그램과 관련된 선행 연구를 검토하고, 실제 프로그램 운영 현황을 파악하며, 다음으로 학교 밖 청소년 기관 전문가 의견 조사를 통해 프로그램에 대한 수요를 파악하였다. 이러한 절차를 거쳐 전체 5개의 모듈, 총 20시간으로 구성된 프로그램을 1차로 개발하였으며, 전문가 자문 의견을 바탕으로 수정한 후 학교 밖 청소년을 대상으로 시범 적용되었다. 프로그램의 주제는 “내 물건으로 보는 세상”, “동네 한 바퀴”, “편의점의 가치”, “모두를 위한 DIY”, “미래를 위한 경매”이다. 이후 프로그램 적용 결과 및 만족도 조사 결과를 반영하여 프로그램을 최종 수정하고, 활용도를 높이기 위해 도움자료 및 교구를 함께 개발하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서는 향후 학교 밖 청소년을 위한 ESD 프로그램의 확산 방안 등에 대해 논의하였다. The aim of this study is to develop an education for sustainable development (ESD) program for youth school dropouts. To do so, we conducted a literature review on the educational programs for dropped-out youth in the context of current policy in Korea, and then identified educational demands through interviews with experts in related fields. Through these steps, we developed an initial version of the program consisting of five modules and twenty hours. This version was then revised by reflecting an external expert review, and the revised program was piloted with youth school dropouts. The program consists of five modules, a total of twenty hours including “The world through my eyes,” “Strolling in my neighborhood”, “Values of the convenience store,” “Do-It-Yourself for All,” and “Auction for the future.” Based on the pilot study and participants’ surveys, a finalized program was developed along with teaching materials and aids. Finally, the study discussed ways of expanding ESD programs for youth school dropouts.

학술지“환경교육”논문 분석을 통한 학교 환경교육 연구 동향 고찰

The purpose of this study was to review the research trends in school environmental education. We analyzed 383 research papers that specifically focused on the school context which were 66% of the total number (N=577) published in this journal between 1990~2011. We defined the characteristics of review and developed a review method by examining previous review studies in this area. The review framework for school environmental education research was devised in terms of seven research areas: 1) Theories and objectives of school environmental education, 2) Environmental awareness, attitude and behavior, 3) Current issues in environmental education in the school context, 4) Instructions and programs, 5) National Curriculum, 6) Environmental education contents, and 7) Teacher professionalism. In this paper, we present dominant features within each category with focus on the overall trends of research methods and themes. Finally, we discuss research issues emerging out of the empirical analysis for considering the value of research for enhancing the quality of environmental education in schools.

지속가능역량의 관점에서 뉴욕시 청소년 프로그램의 의미 탐색

본 연구에서는 지역사회를 기반으로 한 청소년 프로그램 사례를 통해, 지속가능한 지역사회를 위한 청소년의 역할과 참여의 의미를 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 지역사회 기반 공동체 운동과 다양한 실험이 이루어지고 있는 뉴욕 시를 중심으로 이스트뉴욕팜 인턴십 프로그램, 그린썸 청소년리더십위원회, Y-PLAN 등, 청소년 프로그램에 대한 질적 분석을 시도하였다. 사례 분석을 위해 본 연구에서는 환경교육 및 지속가능발전교육, 청소년학, 최근 유네스코의 SDGs 역량 등, 지속가능발전의 주체로서 청소년을 바라보기 위한 관점으로서 청소년 지속가능 역량 개념을 제시하였다. 사례 분석은 이들 청소년 프로그램에서 나타나는 청소년 지속가능 역량의 주요 요소를 살펴보고, 지속가능한 지역사회를 만들기 위한 청소년 참여의 의미와 기제를 밝히는데 초점을 두었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 향후 마을 만들기 등 지역사회 지속가능발전 과정에서 청소년 참여를 강조하였으며, 지역사회 기반 청소년 프로그램 개발과 운영과 관련되는 이론적, 정책적 시사점을 논의하였다. The aim of this study was to explore the role of the youth and the significance of youth participation in the sustainable community building process through case studies. To this end, the study conducted qualitative case studies including East New York Farm Internship Program, GreenThumb Youth Leadership Council, Y-PLAN in New York City where community-based movements and experiments actively take place. The study presented the concept of youth sustainable competency as an angle with which to consider youth as a significant player of sustainable development, based on the literature review of environmental education, education for sustainable development, youth studies and UNESCO SDGs competencies. The case studies focused on elucidating the main components of youth sustainable competency that each case aimed to foster, and explore the significance of youth participation into the building of sustainable community and mechanisms thereof. Based on the study’s result, it is stressed that youth participation should be considered a meaningful process of a community’s sustainable development and theoretical and policy-related discussions are necessary to develop and execute community-based youth programs.

봉사에서 협력으로, 전달에서 학습으로 -과학교사의 국제개발협력사업 참여를 통한 상호문화주의 학습 경험 해석-

본 연구에서는 과학교육 분야에서 국제협력 담론을 개발하는데 있어 상호문화주의의 가치를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 개발도상국에서 과학교육 교수 경험이 있는 네 교사를 대상으로 면담을 실시하였고, 상호문화주의와 대화적 관점에서 교사의 경험과 인식을 분석하였다. 교사 내러티브 분석 결과는 봉사와 전달에서 협력과 학습으로 교사의 관점이 변화하고 있음을 보여준다. 봉사에서 협력으로의 전환은 교사들이 현지에서 이방인으로 살아가면서 타인을 만나는 방법을 배우는 과정에서 나타났다. 개입과 충돌을 경험하면서 교사들은 자신의 정체성을 재규정해 나갈 수 있었다. 또한 그들이 경험한 과학 교수실제는 과학교육의 보편적인 또는 이상적인 가치와 현지 과학교육의 문화적, 특정한 상황으로 발생하는 이질성 간의 협상 경험으로 이해할 수 있었다. 이러한 경험을 통해 교사들은 문화적으로 적정한 방식으로 과학교육의 수요를 파악하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 이해할 수 있었다. 분석 결과를 통해 본 연구에서는 개발도상국 과학교육 실제의 다양성과 복합성, 교사 전문성, 문화적정교수법, 지속가능한 정책의 측면에서 상호문화주의에 입각한 과학교육협력의 담론을 제안하였다. In this article, we explored the value of interculturalism in developing the discourses of international cooperation in science education. By doing so, we interviewed four teachers who had an experience in teaching science in developing countries, and analyzed their experiences and perceptions in the lens of interculturalism and dialogue. Our analysis of teacher narratives shows the transition in the teachers’ perspectives from volunteering and transmission to collaboration and learning. The transition from volunteering to collaboration occurred as the teachers learned how to meet ‘the others’ as themselves being strangers in the foreign context. Through intervening and colliding, teachers were able to reposition their identities as teachers. Furthermore, their science teaching practices show how the teachers tried to negotiate between the universal or idealistic value of science education and the heterogeneities formed by the country’s cultural and specific situation of science education. Through these experiences, the teachers began to understand the importance of the culturally specific ‘need’ for science education. In conclusion, we proposed a discourse of science education collaboration based on interculturalism in terms of the diversity and complexity of science education practices in developing countries, teacher professionalism, culturally relevant pedagogy and sustainable policy.

개발 전주기 사이버보안 관점에서의 해상 사이버보안 형식 승인과 RMF 비교 연구

With the advancement of cyber threats and the development of hacking technologies, cyber security is being emphasized in various fields such as automobiles and ships. According to this trend, various industrial fields are demanding cybersecurity, and related certifications. In this paper, cybersecurity type approval is compared with the RMF stage under the premise that there are common elements with RMF in that cybersecurity elements must be reflected in the entire system development cycle. For comparison, type approval of maritime cyber security of the Korean Register of Shipping was selected. In conclusion, although type approval of maritime cyber security acquisition procedure is not divided by development stage like the RMF, there are the commonalities in the procedure to apply the cybersecurity element to the System development lifecycle like the RMF. Accordingly, the possibility of determining that the cybersecurity element was applied to the entire development cycle was confirmed.

환경교육 용어 사전 편찬 기획 연구

이 연구는 2009년에 실시된 기초 연구를 바탕으로 한국 환경교육 용어 사전의 편찬을 위한 실행 계획을 마련하고자 수행되었다. 이 프로젝트는 1) 기초 연구에 대한 검토와 보완, 2) 용어 목록 업데이트, 3) 유사 사전 검토, 4) 의견 수렴과 결과 반영, 5) 견본 원고 작성과 검토 및 절차 계획 및 시범 진행, 6) 용어 사전 집필 요령과 편찬 절차 계획 작성 및 제안 등으로 구성되었다. 우선 2009년 기획연구(2009)의 원칙들을 재확인하고, 이 연구에서는 의견 수렴과 용어 목록 업데이트에 초점을 두고자 하였다. 최근 환경교육 분야 연구물에 대한 검토를 기반으로 143개의 키워드를 추출하였으며, 의견 수렴 결과를 반영하여 128개의 목록을 제시하였다. 이 논문은 각 과정에 대한 소개와 결과를 기술하고, 각 단계에서 제시된 여러 쟁점에 대하여 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to design an action plan for the Korean environmental education lexicon, based on previous work conducted in 2009. The project proceeded as follows: (1) a baseline study of the list of key words and principles for writing, (2) an update of the list of key words, (3) an actual opinion-gathering process, (4) a review of the opinions and a revision based on the review, (5) samples of writing, and (6) a final decision regarding the procedures for publication and dissemination. In the process, the principles suggested by the previous study for Korean EE lexicon were reaffirmed, and the current project focused on opinion-gathering and an updated list of the key words. Initially, 143 key words were included as a result of the review, then the number was reduced to 128 after expert consultation. The current paper reports these processes in detail and seeks the consultation of the scholarship in this field.
