고강도 혼합분쇄 처리에 의한 인운모로부터 리튬의 수 침출 특성

중액선별(HMS, heavy medium separation)을 통해 회수된 인운모(lepidolite) 정광(Li: 2.3%)으로부터 리튬을 수 침출하기 위해 황산칼슘 반수화염(CSH, calcium sulfate hemihydrate, $CaSO_4{\cdot}1/2H_2O$)과 혼합분쇄하여 기계화학적 효과를 연구하였다. 인운모를 CSH와 함께 고강도 분쇄한 결과, 리튬의 침출율이 4.48%에서 93.5%로 급격히 증가하였다. 이는 고강도 혼합분쇄 과정 중 발생되는 기계화학적 효과로 인해 결정구조가 파괴되면서 인운모와 CSH의 혼합물이 새로운 화합물로 형성되어 나타난 결과로 판단된다. 결과적으로 인운모로부터 상온에서 리튬의 수 침출이 가능함을 확인하였다. The concentrate of lepidolite, being treated by heavy medium separation (HMS), was ground with calcium sulphate hemihydrate (CSH, $CaSO_4{\cdot}1/2H_2O$) to investigate the mechanochemical effect for the Li leachability in water. This leachability increased, dramatically through the intensive grinding for the mixture, concentrate and CSH. The leachability of Li was improved from 4.48% to 93.5%. The grinding of the mixture destructed the crystal structure of the concentrate, and it might be formed to new compounds. As the result, Li in the concentrate can be extracted by water leaching at room temperature.
급성 신우신염을 가진 여성 환자에서 균혈증을 예측하기 위한 초기 혈장 프로칼시토닌, 젖산 및 C-반응성 단백질의 진단 성능 비교

Objective: The purpose of the present study was to compare the diagnostic performance of initial procalcitonin, lactate, and high-sensitive C-reactive protein (hsCRP) for predicting bacteremia in female patients with acute pyelonephritis (APN). Methods: We conducted a retrospective study of female APN patients who visited the emergency department (ED) at the studied hospital between January 2015 and December 2016. The main outcome was bacteremia, which was reported via the first blood culture at ED. The patient demographics, co-morbidities, physiologies, and laboratory variables including initial procalcitonin, lactate, and hsCRP levels, were collected and analyzed to identify associations with the presence of bacteremia. The area under the receiver operating curve (AUROC) and sensitivity (SE)/specificity (SP) were calculated for each variable. Results: During the study period, 282 patients were enrolled. A total of 105 (37.2%) patients had bacteremia. Escherichia coli was the most frequent pathogen. The AUROC was 0.70 (0.63-0.76), 0.70 (0.63-0.76), and 0.56 (0.49- 0.63) for the procalcitonin, lactate, and hsCRP, respectively. At a cut-off value of 0.163 ng/mL, the procalcitonin level predicted bacteremia, with a SE /SP of 95.2%/22.6%, respectively. At a cut-off value of 0.7 mmol/L, the lactate level predicted bacteremia with a SE/SP of 96.2%/20.9%, respectively. The combination of a procalcitonin level >0.447 ng/mL or a lactate level >0.7 mmo/L was chosen, as they showed 100% SE and a 100% negative predictive value. Conclusion: The initial serum procalcitonin and lactate levels showed similar and fair discriminative performance for predicting bacteremia in female APN patients, while the hsCRP level showed poor performance. The combination of procalcitonin and lactate (procalcitonin level≤0.447 ng/mL and lactate≤0.7 mmol/L) can be used to identify patients at low risk of bacteremia.
Results of Iliac Bone Graft with Kirschner Wire Fixation for Scaphoid Nonunions

Purpose: To determine clinical and radiographic results of iliac bone grafting with Kirschner wire fixation for treatment of scaphoid nonunions. Methods: A total of 13 patients who had scaphoid nonunion treated with iliac bone grafting and Kirschner wire fixation between October 2007 and January 2016 were enrolled as subjects of this study. Their clinical results were evaluated, including range of motion of the wrist joint and modified Mayo wrist score. Radiographic results including lateral intrascaphoid angle and scapholunate angle were also assessed. Results: Bony union was achieved in 11 (84.6%) of 13 cases. Modified Mayo wrist score was improved from 64.0 preoperatively to 87.5 postoperatively. Average intrascaphoid angle was improved from 39.5° preoperatively to 27.2° postoperatively while scapholunate angle was improved from 66.0° preoperatively to 55.1° postoperatively. Conclusion: Iliac bone graft with Kirschner wire fixation provided good clinical and radiographic results. Therefore, iliac bone graft with Kirschner wire fixation can be considered as a good treatment option for scaphoid nonunion.
기판온도 및 스퍼터가스에 따른 ZnO 박막의 우선배향성, 화학조성, 물리적특성 변화

ZnO thin films were prepared by rf-magnetron sputter at various conditions. Crystallinity, microstructure, chemical composition, and optical composition, and optical properties of the films were investigated as functions of substrate temperature (R. T.-50$0^{\circ}C$) an sputter gas (O2/Ar=0-50%). ZnO thin films grown at 50$0^{\circ}C$ with sputter gas of pure argon as well as at R. T. with sputter gas of a mixture of argon & oxygen(O2/Ar=2%) exhibit a strong tendency of (002) preferred orientation, compared with a considerable random orientation at the other conditions. The thin films with (002) preferred orientation has a chemical stoichiometry of Zn/O-1.01, a band gap of 3.3eV, and a packing density of 98% respectively.
An Efficient Microvascular Anastomosis Training Model Based on Chicken Wings and Simple Instruments

Objective:The aim of this study is to introduce a microvascular training model based on use of materials that can be easily obtained from the daily surroundings. Methods:Simple microinstruments and a medical school laboratory microscope were used for anastomosis training. Chicken blood vessels were used as a material for this study. A long segment of blood vessel from the proximal brachial artery to the distal radial artery was used for training. End-to-side anastomosis was practiced first, and the training continued with end-to-end anastomosis of the appropriate segments. Results:The instruments used for setting up this model were simple and easy to use; therefore, the time required for preparation of the materials and dissection of the chicken wings was only approximately five to ten minutes. The characteristics of 20 chicken wings were analyzed. The length of the brachial artery to the radial artery was 8 - 10 cm. The average diameter of the brachial artery was 1.3 mm ± 0.2 mm and that of the radial artery was 1.0 mm ± 0.2 mm. Taking advantage of these characteristics, the proximal brachial artery was grafted to the radial artery for practice of end-to-side anastomosis. Conclusions:This study suggests an effective and feasible method for microvascular anastomosis training using chicken wing arteries and simple microinstruments. This model may simulate the conditions of a superficial temporal artery to middle cerebral artery anastomosis surgery.
우경화하는 현대 일본과 메이지유신에 관한 표상: 고바야시 요시노리 ≪대동아론≫을 중심으로

“The grassroots conservative movement” of the 1990s and the recent “NET-UYOKU” are actively accepting the conservatives, right-wing rhetoric and narrative associated with subculture as the driving forces of social movements. Yoshinori Kobayashi has successfully visualized the feelings and views of the right by using cartoons. Kobayashi focuses on the problems revealed in the diplomatic direction of Korea, China, and Japan and the public sentiment today, and seeks to find a clue for the settlement in Toyama and Gen'yōsha after Meiji Restoration through the Daitoaron. Since the Sensōron, Kobayashi’s problem consciousness has always been in the question of “loss of public concern”, so his work that leads to Daitoaron is consistent. In other words, he pointed out that the excessive emphasis on individual in the space of post-war democracy brought about a lack of “public concern” in his previous work, symbolizing the Kamikaze Special Forces during the Second World War II. At a time when NET-UYOKU and conservative media are talking about national interests and anti-Japanese activities, analysis of the situation in his work shows that the “nation” is destroying the “public”. Kobayashi, in his book Daitoaron, demonstrated the link between the realization of an Asian royal statesmanship, Pan-Asianism and the Civil Rights Movement, with the focus on Gen'yōsha. This is a reaction to the anti-foreignist trend that appears in the political groups and NET-UYOKU that currently lead Japan. And it intends to spread the forgotten history of the recent debate on constitutional amendment to the public. Both the pre-war Meiji Constitution and the post-war Constitution of Japan share the limitations of the constitution, which has been granted by the Top. He wanted to highlight the people with sovereignty by portraying the Japanese people in the early Meiji period who wanted to actively participate in the constitutional amendment.
