LG AdvanSure TB/NTM Real-Time PCR Kit의 항산균 진단 수행 능력 평가

Background: The AdvanSure TB/NTM real-time PCR kit (AdvanSure) was newly developed in Korea to detect Mycobacterium tuberculosis and nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) utilizing a specific primer and TaqMan probe targeting the IS6110 and rpoB genes which are unique to these species. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the clinical utility of AdvanSure by comparing the results of acid-fast staining, mycobacteria culture, COBAS Amplicor MTB PCR (Amplicor), and AdvanSure. Methods: A total of 182 specimens (105 respiratory and 77 nonrespiratory specimens) were obtained from 165 patients, and acid fast bacilli (AFB) staining, mycobacteria culture, and Amplicor were performed on all specimens. AdvanSure was also performed on the above specimens using the SLAN real-time PCR detection system. The sensitivity and specificity of AdvanSure were analyzed using AFB staining and culture. Results: Of the 182 specimens, M. tuberculosis was detected in 43 specimens and NTM was detected in 12 specimens according to PCR and/or culture. The sensitivity and specificity of the AdvanSure based on AFB culture were 97.3% (36/37) and 95.5% (127/133) in M. tuberculosis and 75.0% (9/12) and 100% (0/133) in NTM, respectively. Conclusion: AdvanSure could be useful for detecting M. tuberculosis and NTM in the clinical laboratory with high sensitivity and specificity.

Pasteurella dagmatis is an oxidase and catalase positive, facultative anaerobic, gram-negative coccobacillus classified as a member of the family Pasteurellaceae. Pasteurella species are commonly colonizing the oropharynx of healthy domestic and wild animals including cats and dogs. These are usually pathogenic to domestic animals, but rarely to human beings. Pasteurella infection of human causes pneumonia, empyema, meningitis, peritonitis, bone and joint infection and septicemia. Recently, we experienced a case of dog-bite wounds from which Pasteurella dagmatis was isolated in a 39-year-old woman. To our knowledge, this is the first report of Pasteurella dagmatis isolated from dog-bite wounds in Korea.

Specialists who are related to the decision-making process are various. Thus, diversified methodologies are introduced to identify the decision-making group's opinion synthetically. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is utilized in several fields as a method not only to collect individual decision-makers' opinion but also to produce those of decision-making group's opinion. However, due to differences among groups in their measures, evaluation results were distorted and it even leads us not to emphasize evaluation itself. Specifically, in case of taking into effect of certain policy, it has a limit in generating the solution just for summing the results of each groups. Operation of policy must be mainly emphasized not for identifying the priority of the problem but for relieving the complications among groups. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate current status of inter-city transportation policy by adopting Analytic Hierarchy Process, and identify gap that implicitly reside in the conventional evaluation process. 의사결정시 관계되는 전문가는 점점 더 다양해져 가고 있으며, 이러한 의사결정그룹의 의견을 종합적으로 수렴하기 위해 다양한 방법론들이 소개되고 있다. 계층분석법(AHP : analytic hierarchy process)은 의사결정그룹의 종합의견을 산출하기 위해 단위의사결정자들의 평가를 종합하는 방법으로 여러 분야에서 활용되고 있다. 하지만, 그룹간 상대적 평가차이가 존재하는 평가항목에 대한 근원적인 검토가 이루어지지 않아 평가항목에 따라 평가결과에서 왜곡이 심화되기도 하며, 문제의 근원을 간과하게 되는 경우가 발생할 것으로 판단된다. 특히, 정책입안을 하여 집행하는 경우, 문제의 중요성을 단순히 그룹간 평가를 통해 종합하는 방법으로는 문제해결에 한계성을 가질 것으로 판단된다. 왜냐하면, 정책을 입안하고 집행하는 것은 문제의 중요도를 평가하고 순위에 따라 집행하는 것에 목적이 있는 것이 아니라 다양한 그룹간의 갈등을 완화하는데 목적이 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 일반적으로 적용되고 있는 계층분석법을 통해 광역교통체계의 문제점을 평가하고, 그 평가결과 이면에 드러나지 않는 상대적 평가차이를 확인하였다. 결정된 정책우선순위에서 그룹간 상대적 의견 차이를 줄이기 위해서는 그룹 상호간의 이해를 통해 상대적 의견 차이를 줄여야 할 것이며, 향후 상대적 평가를 반영하는 연구가 필요할 것이다.
밭작물 필요수량 및 공급량을 고려한 가뭄의 시계열 분석

Recently, the frequency and intensity of disasters such as droughts and floods have been increasing due to climate change. It isnecessary to prepare by grasping the current status of time and space to reduce the damage of such a disaster. In this study, to minimizethe damage of drought, field drought areas were graded in consideration of the amount of water required and the amount of watersupplied for each region, and a monthly comparison identified the period of drought vulnerability. 25 out of 148 regions were selectednationwide, divided into Drought-safe areas (I), Drought-safe areas (II), Drought-concerned areas, and Drought-prone areas. An analysiswas conducted on the amount of water supplied compared to the monthly required water in this region. Soybeans were selected amongcultivated crops to calculate the amount of water required. The amount of water supplied was obtained by analyzing public and privatetube well, and water supply data. In spring, the amount of water supply compared to the amount of water required was 1,281.5%,667.6%, 729.5%, and 316.3% in drought-safe areas (I), drought-safe areas (II), drought-concerned areas, and drought-prone areas, andin autumn, 436.0%, 212.8%, 213.9%, 105.3% respectively, which was analyzed to be sufficient. However, in summer, 82.4%, 40.6%,42.6%, and 20.0%, respectively, which was insufficient. Between May and September, the soybean cultivation period, the amount ofwater supplied to tube wells (public + private) was analyzed to be insufficient in most regions. Based on this analysis, it is judgedthat a plan to secure water will be necessary during the cultivation period when water shortages occur. 최근 기후변화로 가뭄, 홍수 등 재해의 빈도와 강도가 높아지고 있다. 이러한 재해의 피해를 줄이기 위해서는 시공간적 현황 파악을 통한 대비가필요하다. 본 연구에서는 가뭄의 피해를 최소화하고자 지역별 밭작물의 필요수량과 공급량을 고려하여 밭가뭄 지역 등급화 실시하였고, 월별 비교를통해 가뭄 취약 시기를 파악하였다. 전국 148개 지역 중 안전지역(Ⅰ), 안전지역(Ⅱ), 우려지역, 상습지역으로 구분한 25개 지역을 선정하였으며,이 지역의 월별 필요수량 대비 공급량 분석을 하였다. 필요수량 산정의 재배작물은 콩으로 선정하였으며, 공급량은 공공관정, 민간관정, 상수도자료를 분석하였다. 필요수량 대비 공급량이 봄철은 안전지역(Ⅰ), 안전지역(Ⅱ), 우려지역, 상습지역에서 각 1,281.5%, 667.6%, 729.5%, 316.3%,가을철에는 각 436.0%, 212.8%, 213.9%, 105.3%로 공급이 충분할 것으로 분석되었으나 여름철에는 각 82.4%, 40.6%, 42.6%, 20.0%로 용수공급이 부족한 것으로 분석되었다. 콩의 재배 기간인 5~9월에 관정(공공+민간)으로의 공급량은 대부분 지역에서 부족한 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한분석을 통해 용수 부족이 발생하는 재배기간 동안 용수확보 방안이 필요하다
