낙상 및 굴러감 사고를 예방하기 위한 유모차의 자동 브레이크 시스템

본 논문에서는 보호자의 부주의에 의해 발생하는 사고를 방지하기 위한 유모차 자동 브레이크를 제안 및 구현한다. 시스템은 평지 및 경사로에서 보호자의 제어가 사라졌을 시 자동으로 브레이크를 작동하여 위기 대처 능력이 없는 유모차 속 영유아를 보호한다. 유모차의 손잡이에 압력센서를 부착하여 보호자의 제어 여부를 감지한다. 또한, 손잡이에 적외선 거리측정 센서를 부착하여 보호자의 유무를 감지하고, 안전벨트에 리드 스위치 모듈을 부착하여안전벨트 착용 여부를 감지함으로써 브레이크의 작동이 제어된다. 구현한 시스템을 실험한결과, 다양한 조건의 지면에서 브레이크의 안전성을 확인하였다

자살생각을 한 경험이 있는 대학생의 취업스트레스와 사회적 지지가 자살생각 수준에 미치는 영향

The present study examined the effect of job-seeking stress and social support on suicidal ideation in senior college students and investigated whether one’s social support moderated the relations between job-seeking stress and suicidal ideation. The participants of this study were 218 senior college students(70 men, 148 women), who were seeking a job and had ever thought about suicide at least once, from five universities located in Seoul. To measure the level of suicidal ideation, the Adult Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire (Reynolds, 1991a) was used. The level of job-seeking stress was measured by the Job-Seeking Stress Scale (Kim, 2010). To measure the level of social support, the Scale of Social Support (Park, 1985) transformed by Yoon (1993) was used. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and hierarchical regressions. The moderating effect of social support was analyzed by using the procedures proposed by Baron and Kenny (1986). The results of this research indicated that the level of job-seeking stress increased suicidal ideation whereas the level of social support decreased suicidal ideation. However, the moderating effect of social support on the relation between job-seeking stress and suicidal ideation was not significant. 본 연구는 자살생각 경험이 있는 대학생의 취업 스트레스와 사회적 지지가 자살생각에 미치는 영향과 취업 스트레스와 자살생각 간의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 완충효과를 확 인하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울시 소재의 다섯 개 대학 4학년 재학생 중 취업을 준 비 중이며, 자살생각을 한 경험이 있는 대학생 218명(남 70명, 여 148명)이었다. 연구문 제 검증을 위하여 취업 스트레스와 사회적 지지가 자살생각에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 기초분석으로 적률상관계수를 산출한 후 중다회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 취업 스트 레스와 자살생각의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 완충효과를 검증하기 위하여 상호작용항을 투입하여 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 취업 스트레스를 많이 받을수록 자살생각을 자주 하는 경향이 있었으며, 사회적 지지를 많이 받는다고 지각할수록 자살 생각을 할 가능성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 취업 스트레스가 자살생각에 미치는 영향에 대한 사회적 지지의 완충효과를 검증한 결과, 취업 스트레스가 자살생각에 미치 는 영향은 사회적 지지의 수준에 따라 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바 탕으로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점을 논의하였다.

초등학교 영어교육 활성화를 위한 영어도서관 활용 방안에 관한 조사연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of parents, teachers, and students on what is needed to operate and use English libraries in elementary schools. To achieve this goal, questionnaires were collected from 710 students, 590 parents, and 288 teachers nationwide. The survey consisted of ten questions in four categories: the necessity of English libraries in schools, material resources and human resources in English libraries, types of activity programs, and suggestions on the efficient use of English libraries. The results of the survey were analyzed on a 100-point scale to show the preference of the three groups of respondents. The results of the survey were as follows: first, all three groups considered English libraries in schools helpful for elementary school English education. Second, English libraries in schools should not only be a place for reading books, but also a place for activity-based learning. Third, parents and teachers agreed that English libraries in schools can be successful when there is a consistent supply of materials and human and financial support. Finally, English libraries in schools need to be operated by well-trained experts to help learners use the facilities more effectively. 본 연구는 영어 친화적 환경 조성의 일환으로 최근 추진되고 있는 학교 영어도서관 구축과 관련하여 그 활용성과 효용성을 제고하고자 학생,교사,학부모의 인식에 대한 설문 조사를 목적으로 이루어졌다. 설문은 전국적으로 학생 710명,학부모 590명,교사 288명을 대상으로 실시하였으며,영어도서관이 영어교육에 도움을 주기 위해서 어떻게 구축되어야 하는지에 대해 10개 문항으로 질문하였다. 조사내용을 분석한 결과,설문 참여 집단 모두 영어도서관이 영어교육에 도움이 된다고 응답하였고,집단별로 약간 차이는 있었지만 상당수의 설문 참여자는 영어도서관이 기존의 다른 시설과 별도로 구축되는 것이 바람직하며,영어도서관에서 다양한 활동이 이루어져야 한다는 데에 동의하지만 집단별로 선호하는 활동은 약간씩 달랐다. 이러한 연구 결과를 볼 때,영어도서관은 도서는 물론 다양한 활동을 경험할 수 있는 시설과 프로그램을 갖춘 별도의 공간으로 만들어지는 것이 바람직하다.

현직 영어 교사연수 효과에 관한 혼합 연구

Teachers’ in-service training is a basic management practice in running the national curriculum which requires English teachers to keep up with changes within the English educational paradigm. In this vein the in-service English teacher training has been provided, but the discussions on the effects are mixed. Specifically, the teaching method, language proficiency, and affective attitudes are positive, on the other hand, the applicability of the training is negative. This paper investigated the effects of in-service English teacher training in areas of teaching method, English proficiency and affective attitudes. A mixed method approach explored 29 papers (13 applying a quantitative approach and 16 a qualitative approach) for their meta-analytic comparison. The CMA (comprehensive meta analysis) and Nvivo were used for quantitative meta analysis and qualitative data thematic discovery separately. The result shows that teachers’ teaching proficiency, language proficiency and affective attitudes had improved, but the sustainability of the initial effects are questioned in English classes. The suggestion is made to narrow the gap between the content of training and the school setting.

영어과 원격 교사연수의 세방화(glocalization)를 위한 국내외 원격 교사연수 비교 분석

The purpose of this study is to examine online in-service language teacher training programs domestic and abroad in attempt to find out implications for developing glocalized version of online in-service English teacher training program. For this purpose, the study analyzed six Korean online in-service English teacher training programs(KOTTP) and one Canadian in-service language teacher training program(Online Teacher Training, OTT) in terms of framework, contents, teaching and learning strategies, interaction, technical aspects and evaluation. The study also analyzed post-training free descriptions of 97 trainees who participated in the programs to find out their needs and satisfaction about online in-service teacher training programs. The results of the study showed that : 1) OTT emphasized on trainees' own reflection after attending OTT whereas KOTTP focused on program contents themselves. 2) KOTTP provided trainee-friendly technical functions but, in terms of interaction, OTT focused on interaction between trainees and trainers or among trainees whereas KOTTP has tools for contents-trainees interactions. 3) According to post training free descriptions, 77% of trainees showed their opinions about the contents of program and trainees also described their demands and needs for various aspects of program such as introducing practical materials for actual classroom instruction, making training courses relevant to real teaching and learning situation. 4) Trainees mentioned their changes in terms of their English proficiency, teaching skills, confidence and reflection of their teaching styles and so on. Finally, based on the findings, the paper discussed a few suggestions for developing glocalization versions of online in-service English teacher training program.
