      • 서로 다른 결정성을 갖는 Cellulose 에 대한 Trichoderma viride Cellulase 의 흡착특성

        서로 다른 결정성을 갖는 cellulose에 대한 cellulase의 흡착을 특성을 알아보았다. cellulose의 결정성은 cellulase에 의한 가수분해가 진행될수록 증가하였고, 다른 결정성을 갖는 cellulose에 대한 cellulase complex의 흡착은 Langmuir 등온흡착에 따라 흡착하였다. 미세결정성 cellulose의 결정성이 증가함에 따라 최대흡착량(A_max)이 감소하였다. 또한 최대흡착량과 흡착평형상수(K_ad)는 온도가 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. 또한 흡착에 대한 열역학적 파라미터, ??H_a, ??G_a, 및 ??S_a가 흡착평형상수 및 최대흡착량의 값들로부터 결정되었다. 모든 흡착과정이 발열반응임을 알 수 있었으며, 흡착반응의 엔탈피 의존성은 셀룰로오스의 결정성이 증가함에 따라 감소하였고, 엔트로피 의존성은 크게 증가하였다.

        Puljo chikchi shimch'e yojo˘l (佛祖直指心體要節) is the world's oldest existing book printed with metal type. This study was metal type printing and wooden type printing of the korea ink using light and scanning electron microscopes. The results were as follows: metal type printing of korean ink were discovered a spot and not a crack, wooden type printing of the korea ink does run on paper and observed a crack.

      • M(Cd , Ag , Cu , Fe) - 활성탄 및 셀룰로오스의 표면 특성과 항균성

        A studies on the adsorption properties and antibacterial effects of the Cd, Ag, Cu, and Fe-treated activated carbon and cellulose were carried out. From the adsorption on the series of these metal-treated activated carbons and celluloses, typical type-1 isotherm was observed. The surface areas of the metal treated carbon and cellulose obtained from BET equation were in the range of 1114-1402㎡/g for Ag-AC and of 12.7-16.3㎡/g for Ag-C. From the SEM study, it is also observed that many of micropores in activated carbon are blocked by window blocking effect of metals after the impregnation. Finally, antibacterial effects of M-activated carbon and cellulose against Escherichia coli were discussed. From the study, the area of antibacterial activity becomes larger with the increase of the amount of metal treated.

      • Adsorption activation energy of cellobiohydrolase and their core proteins from Trichoderma reesei on Cellulose

        Trichoderma reesei 속 cellulose 로 부터 CBH I, CBH II와 core I과 core II의 셀룰로오스에 대한 흡착특성을 조사 하였다 5℃에서는, 15분 이내에 모든 흡착이 끝나며, 분리된 CBH I 성분효소가 CBH II 성분효소보다 더 빨리 흡착 되었고, 더 많은 양이 흡착되었다. 또한 core protein은 작은 양이 흡착되었다. 성분효소의 흡착을 유사 1차 반응 속도식에 적용시켜 흡착 파라미터, 즉 흡착 속도상수와 흡착활성화에너지를 구하였다. 흡착 속도상수값은 CBH I이 가장 컸고, core protein들은 작은 값을 나타내었다. 흡착활성화에너지는 core protein이 가장 큰값을 나타냈다. 이것은 CBH I이 셀룰로오스 표면에 보다 더 강하게 결합하고, core protein 표면에 느슨한 결합을 하기 때문이다.

        결정성이 다른 셀룰로오스에 대한 Trichoderma viride속 Cellulase로부터 분리한 Endo I 및 II의 흡착특성

        The adsorption behaviors of two major cellulase components, endo I and exo II, from Trichoderma viride were investigated using $\alpha$-celluloses with different correlation crystallinity index(Cc) as substrates. The adsorption of cellulase enzyme components was significantly affected by the reaction condition and the physicochemical properties of the cellulose. The $\alpha$-cellulose was hydrolyzed in the presence of cellulase for various periods. The correlation crystallinity index of $\alpha$-cellulose increased with increasing the hydrolysis time. The adsorption was apparently found to obey the first-order kinetics, and the adsorption activation energy(Ea) was calculated from the adsorption rate constant(ka). The value of adsorption rate constant for endo I was larger than that of exo II. This means that endo I are adsorbed more rapidly than exo II. With the increase in correlation crystallinity index, the values of the adsorption rate constants for endo I and exo II decreased, respectively. The activation energy for the adsorption of exo II on the cellulose also was larger than that of endo I. Also adsorption activation energy of endo I and exo II increased with an increase in the crystallinity of sample cellulose.

        The complete title of JIKJI is Paegun hwasang ch'orok puljo chikchi shimch'e yojo˘l (白雲和尙抄錄佛祖直指心體要節). The book is currently preserved in the Bibliothe`que Nationale in Paris, France. Produced in a set of two volumes, only one remains. This study was identify components of metal type printing and wooden type printing of the korea ink using ESCA, microscope IR, GC and Mass. For determination of an chemical element by using ESCA analyses Calcium(Ca), Aluminum(Al), Silicon(Si) and Gold(Au). In addition, GC/Mass analyses revealed that long chain carboxylic acid metal type printing of korean ink.

      • Effect of Carbon Dioxide and Fluorine from Soft Drinks on Teeth

        탄산 음료 속에 Carbon Dioxide 와 Fluorine이 치아에 미치는 영향을 치아의 질량변화를 통하여 알아 보았다. 음료수 중 콜라 속에서 치아의 질량 변화가 가장 컸으며, 콜라 속의 Phosphorus의 양을 정량한 결과, 142 ppm 이었으며, Carbon trioxide와 Phosphorus가 치아에 영향을 주는 물질임을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 Fluorine의 농도가 진한 경우, 치아의 질량변화에 영향을 주었다.

      • Pueraria Thunbergiana Cellulose를 이용한 분자체 탄소 제조

        The investigation of manufacturing activated carbon from a Pueraria Thunbergiana was lab-scale preliminary experiments, optimum experimental conditions in each step and were obtained by varying the experimental parameters such as oxidation temperature, carbonization temperature and reaction time. The activated carbon is amorphous and its intraparticle pores are well developed at the activation temperature of about 900℃. Physical properties and other characteristics of activated carbon produced in this experiment were measured according to the standardized test methods and compared with those of commercial activated carbon. According to the results from experiments to compare the properties of carbonization and activation by time, adsorption amount of the samples 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12 didn't depend on time, but absorbed more 600㎎/g of iodine, The samples 5, 6, 7, 8 treated with ZnCl_2 absorbed about 500㎎/g of iodine. The sample 4 had the most adsorption amount 812㎎/g of iodine on the condition of carbonization (500℃/3 hs) and activation(900℃/4 hs). Decolorization test of methyl blue was conducted on each sample. It led to great results on sample 3 catalytic conditions of 900℃ and 4 hours of activation independent of carbonization conditions. While samples 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 activated carbons decolorized in the 100-136 mg/g range of methylene blue, sample 1. 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 only did 34-124㎎/g. It measured the specific surface area of activated carbons prepared. All the activated carbons have the specific surface area within 341-784㎡/g. The experiment was performed measurement of the adsorption value on methyl blue based on the specific surface area size. In the specific surface area increased form 300㎡/g to 800㎡/g, methylene blue was decolorized about 3 times more. The decolorization of activated carbons treated with N_2 separator was excellent. The micropore size distributed on activated carbons of Pueraria Thunbergiana measured by BET was identified in range of 19.46 Å-34.24 Å. According to the results of this experiment, it was proved that activated carbons of Pueraria Thunbergiana have micropore diameter. Judging from the experimental results on adsorption of iodine, decolorization of methyl blue, the specific surface area and pore size, activated carbons of Pueraria Thunbergiana produced on given different carbonization and activation condition did draw conclusion that it is possible to produce active carbons with quality even without chemical or physical catalysts.

      • 숯과 펄프를 이용한 종이의 금속 흡착과 항균성

        A studies on the adsorption properties and antibacterial effects for the paper ratio of charcoal and pulp were carried out. Pulp fillers and size particles have a repulsive potential which is electrostatic in nature. When these materials are immersed in water, they tend to acquire an negative electrical charge on their surface and therefore repel each other. In order to improve sheet formation and the retention of additives which endow the specific function and/or property to paper. From the adsorption on the series of these paper mixed charcoal and pulp, metal adsorbed amount increased with the charcoal. From the SEM study, it is also observed that many of micropores in charcoal are blocked by window blocking effect of metals after the impregnation. Finally, antibacterial effects of the paper mixed charcoal and pulp against Escherichia coli was dicussed. From the study, the area of antibacterial activity becomes larger with the increase of amount of charcoal.
