        한국 청소년의 수면 시간, 수면의 질과 손상과의 관계

        연구목적: 본 연구는 한국 중고등학생의 수면시간, 수면의 질과 학교 내 손상과의 관계를 확인하고자 시도되었다. 연구방법: 연구 자료는 제14차(2018년도) 청소년건강행태온라인조사 자료를 이용하여 중고등학생 총 52,928명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성과 건강 관련 특성 요인을 통제한 후, 학교 손상에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 다변량 로지스틱 회귀분석(multivariate logistic regression)을 수행하였다. 결과: 일반적 특성과 건강 특성 변수를 통제한 상태에서 수면 시간과 수면의 질은 학교 내 손상과의 관련성은 통계적으로 유의하였다. 즉, 수면 시간 8시간 이상에 비해 5시간 미만인 경우 1.29배(95% CI=1.207-1.379), 5시간 이상 6시간 미만인 경우 1.22배(95% CI=1.144-1.308), 6시간 이상 7시간 미만인 경우 1.17배(95% CI=1.095-1.247), 7시간 이상 8시간 미만인 경우 1.12배(95% CI=1.052-1.833) 학교 손상 위험성이 높았다. 또한, 수면의 질이 좋은 경우에 비해 보통 1.21배(95% CI=1.148-1.273), 나쁨 1.41배(95% CI=1.336-1.486) 학교 손상 위험성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 결론: 그러므로 학교 손상 위험에 취약한 청소년 집단을 위한 건강한 수면관리에 초점을 맞춘 손상 예방 및 관리를 위한 정책적, 사회적 노력이 요구된다. Pupose: This study examined the relationship between sleep duration, sleep quality and experiences of injuries at school among Korean adolescents. Methods: This study used the data drawn from Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey in 2018. A total data of 52.923 adolescents were included in the analysis. Multivariate logistic regression was used to investigate the relationship between sleep duration, sleep quality and experiences of injuries after controlling for demographic and health-related variables. Result: After controlling general and health-related factors, hours of sleep and quality of sleep were still significantly related to experiences of school injuries. That is, Compared to 8 hours or more, the risk of school injure was higher each; 1.29 times(95% CI=1.207-1.379) for <5 hours; 1.22 times(95% CI=1.144-1.308) for 5-6 hours; 1.17 times(95% CI=1.095-1.247) for 6-7 hours; 1.12 timesfor ≥8 hours(95% CI=1.052-1.833). Also, compared to adolescents with good sleep quality, the risk of school injure was 1.21 times higher for adolescents with normal(95% CI=1.148-1.273) and 1.41 times for adolescents with worse sleep quality (95% CI=1.336-1.486). Conclusion: Therefore, policy and social efforts are required to prevent and manage damage, focusing on healthy sleep management for youth groups vulnerable to school damage risk.

        보건교사의 차별인식과 직무스트레스와의 관계에서 자아존중감의 매개효과

        Objectives: This study examined the relationship between discrimination perception and occupational stress of school nurses to verify the mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationship between the perception of discrimination and occupational stress. Methods: This study was a secondary analysis of the data collected by the Public Health Nurses Association of D city from regular school nurses working in elementary, middle, and high schools in September 2017. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 Statistics Program, and multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the effects of self-esteem on the relationship between the perception of discrimination and occupational stress. Results: The occupational stress of school nurses was higher with higher discrimination and lower self-esteem, and the moderating effects of self-esteem (β=-.152, p=.016) was confirmed between the perception of discrimination and occupational stress (F=30.117, p<.001). Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to prepare a method for managing occupational stress due to job demands of school nurses as well as organizational measures to reduce discrimination in organizations. In addition, efforts to develop various programs focusing on improving the self-esteem of school nurses are required.

        도시 빈곤노인의 영양상태와 영양불량 위험 요인

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status of low-income urban elders by diversified ways, and to analyze the risk factors for malnutrition. Methods: The participants in this study were 183 low-income elders registered at a visiting healthcare facility in a public health center. Data were collected using anthropometric measurements, and a questionnaire survey. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, χ2-test, t-test, Fisher’s exact test, multiple logistic regression analysis were performed using SPSS 20.0. Results: Regarding the nutritional status of low-income elders as measured by the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA), 10.4% of the elders were classified as malnourished; 57.4% as at high risk for malnutrition; and 32.2% as having normal nutrition levels. The main factors affecting malnutrition for low-income elders were loss of appetite (OR=3.34, 95% CI: 1.16~9.56) and difficulties in meal preparation (OR=2.35, 95% CI: 1.13~4.88). Conclusion: In order to effectively improve nutrition in low-income urban elders, it is necessary to develop individual intervention strategies to manage factors that increase the risk of malnutrition and to use systematic approach strategies in local communities in terms of a nutrition support system.

        간호대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 전공만족도의 관계에서 교수-학생 상호작용의 조절효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of career decision self-efficacy on major satisfaction among nursing students, and to examine the moderating effect of professor-student interaction on career decision self-efficacy and major satisfaction. Methods: This study analyzed the data of 307 students among fourth-year university nursing students in A and C cities from May 2017 to July 2017 using the SPSS 24.0 statistics program. Results: There were significantly positive relationships between career decision self-efficacy, major satisfaction, and professor-student interaction. The professor-student interaction showed moderating effects in the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and major satisfaction, with 52.7% of explanatory power. Conclusion: This finding suggests the importance of career decision self-efficacy and the moderating effects of professor-student interaction to increase nursing students’ satisfaction in their major. Therefore, it is necessary to make diverse efforts in the field of education to improve students career decision self-efficacy and professor-student interaction.

        20~30대 군 간부의 건강상태, 건강행위 조사연구

        Purpose : This descriptive study aimed to identify the level of health status, the health behaviors among military officers in their 20s and 30s in the ROK Army, Navy, and Air Force. Method : The data were collected from 6,500 military officers in Korea from July to September, 2008 using a structured Questionnaire. Data were analyzed in SPSS WIN 12.0 window program. Results : The mean score of physical health status among military officers surveyed was 12.6±12.9 while psychological health status was 3.7±5.7. The mean score of health behavior was 84.5±13.0. The most frequent health behavior was stress management. The factors related to health status according to general characteristics, workplace characteristics were sex, education level, grade, type of military unit, working area, working hour, time of overtime, duty time. The factors related to health behavior according to general characteristics, workplace characteristics were marital status, length of service, grade, type of military unit, working area, working hour, time of overtime. Conclusion : The results of the study suggest that military officers in their 20s and 30s need to do healthy behaviors and take part in health promotion programs, as part of the organizational environment. In addition, personal health status needs to be implemented in order to improve overall health.

      • 장병들의 정신건강 증진을 위한 군 정신보건 조직 네트워크 모형 개발

        objective: Mental health problem is one of the major and rising issues in military. Considering Republic of Korea's compulsory military service system and the stressful living condition of soldiers, the soldiers are put at great risk of developing mental health problems. Despite the increasing need for mental health service in military personnel, the military mental health system does not seem to deliver required service effectively. Thus, this study aimed 1)to analyse the military mental health service and identify problems with the service, 2)to develop a network model for the military mental health service, and 3)to propose strategies to facilitate the mental health service network. Method: This descriptive study drew on a consultation with 33 mental health providers including psychiatrists, psych/mental health nurse officers, and military basic-human-right counsellors(MBHRC). Based on the interview with several mental health providers and exclusive literature review regarding mental health service networking, a survey questionnaire was developed and distributed to the subjects. The questionnaire consisted of ten items related to demographic data and six open-end question to investigate the status of military mental health service, mental health workforce, perception about the collaboration and cooperation among each party, difficulties they're facing, and etc. 33 out of 43 were returned and the return rate was 76.6%. Demographic data of the subjects were analyzed with SPSS WIN 12.0 and the answers for open question were proceed with content analysis. Results: Psychiatrists and Psych/mental health nurse officers in military hospitals, Psychiatrists and Public health & health promotion nurse officers in division health care units, and MBHRC were identified as major mental health service provider. The obstacles to providing effective mental health services included a shortage of professional mental health workforce, conflicts with leaderships, and the lack of understanding and sharing information among the service providing parties. Consisting of military hospital, division medical unit, and MBHRC's office, the proposed mental health service network emphasize soldiers' need and collaboration and cooperation among each party. We recommend several strategies to facilitate the network including training and continuing education for service provider, developing and utilizing mental health promotion programs, promoting teamwork of network components, determining assessment tools and documentation forms to maximize the efficacy of the network, including the performance of each service network into unit evaluation criteria, and utilizing mental healthcare resources in civilian sectors.
