        소아의 기도 폐쇄 평가에서 impulse oscillometry system과 폐활량 측정법의 비교

        Purpose:Measurement of forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) is usually difficult to obtain in children under six years of age because it requires active cooperation. This study evaluates the sensitivity of impulse oscillometry system (IOS) parameters for detecting airway obstruction in comparison with FEV1. Methods:We studied 174 children who performed the lung function and methacholine challenge tests to diagnose asthma by IOS and spirometry. Children were divided into two subgroups according to their PC20, which is a parameter for bronchial sensitivity. We compared IOS parameters with FEV1 at the baseline, post-methacholine challenge, and evaluated their correlation. Results:At the baseline, reactance at 5 Hz (X5) and resistance at 5 Hz (R5) significantly differed between the PC20 positive (PC20≤16 mg/mL) group and PC20 negative (PC20 >16 mg/mL) group; however, FEV1, FEV1 % predicted, FEV1_Zs (Z score) did not differ. FEV1 is correlated with X5 (r=0.45, P<0.01) and R5 (r=―0.69, P<0.01). FEV1_Zs is also correlated with X5_Zs (r=―0.26, P<0.01) and R5_Zs (r=―0.31, P<0.01). After the methacholine challenge test, dose-response slopes in FEV1 and X5 significantly differed between the two subgroups (P<0.05). Conclusion:IOS parameters were more discriminative than FEV1 for detecting decreased baseline lung function between two subgroups and have a good correlation with FEV1.         중장년층 등산복의 소재 및 기능성 만족도

        The purpose of this study is to examine the satisfaction for the material and functional properties of climbing suit among the middle-aged hikers. The research consists of a survey which took place in the Kwanak Mountains. 200 hikers participated in this questionnaire of 33 questions that were developed in this study. Total satisfaction score was about 3.0 which showed middle. The lowest satisfaction were shown at price, size, abrasion durability, climbing safety, and easy washing in the order. Consumer age was found to be related negatively with the satisfaction for product maintenance, sewing quality, and the number of detail part of climbing suit. In size dissatisfaction, the part of the buttocks, the width of pants tube were the most dissatisfied and the width of sleeve, waist, shoulder, in the order. Lower clothes showed higher dissatisfaction in size than upper clothes. Not only its thermal comfort property, but also the size, abrasion durability, washing convenience and upper-wear stretch of climbing suit were found to be important for satisfying consumer's needs.

        Coordinate Regulation of Neurite Outgrowth by LRRK2 and Its Interactor, Rab5

        Neurite outgrowth and its maintenance are essential aspects of neuronal cells for their connectivity and communication with other neurons. Recent studies showed that over-expression of either leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2), whose mutations are associated with familial Parkinson's disease (PD), or Rab5b, an early endosomal marker protein, induces reduction in neurite length. Based on our recent findings that LRRK2 co-localizes and interacts with Rab5, we tested the hypothesis that LRRK2 and Rab5 may functionally interplay while controlling neurite outgrowth. Firstly, we confirmed previous reports that over-expression of either the LRRK2 PD-specific G2019S mutant or the Rab5 constitutively active Q79L mutant, but not of dominant negative N133I mutant, significantly reduces neurite outgrowth. Secondly, when over-expression of either LRRK2 wild type (WT) or G2019S was accompanied with over-expression of one of the Rab5 variants (WT, Q79L and N133I), or with down-regulation of Rab5, the reduction extent of its neurite length was similar to that of cells over-expressing LRRK2 alone, regardless of Rab5's status. Finally, we observed similar patterns of neurite length regulation in embryonic rat hippocampal neuron cultures. Taken together, our results suggest that LRRK2 and Rab5 functionally coordinate their regulation of neurite outgrowth and that LRRK2 is a more critical factor than Rab5.

        아파트 옥외공간 감각자극 디자인 요소의 평가에 관한 연구

        This study aims to evaluate the design elements which provide the residents with pleasant sensory stimulations so that enhance their comfort in the outdoor space of Korean apartment complexes. Design factors of the outdoor spaces were categorized and transferred into the evaluative tools to measure the residents’ sensory comfort through literature review. The survey research was carried out to examine the residents" perceived satisfaction and importance of sensory stimulating factors. The sample data from 300 residents were discussed by the IPA analysis to determine which factors should be intensified in the outdoor space design. The results are as follows: (1) Design elements for the apartment outdoor space design were reclassified as the visual, the auditory, the olfactory, the tactile, and the psychological design factors. (2) The sensory stimulating design factors were divided into four realms by IPA analysis: the major design realm (1st quadrant), the intensive design realm (2nd quadrant), the tactical design realm (3rd quadrant), and sufficient design realm (4th quadrant). (3) Directly affective factors to the residents’ comfort such as lighting, noise control, odor treating, the durability of materials, and CCTV sets were settled on the major and intensive design realms. (4) The tactical factors such as diversity, natural sound and odor, use of natural materials, and visibility were also defined as the critical outdoor space design factors because their importance scored relatively low but still over the middle (>3.5).

        특성화고등학생의 성격강점과 주관적 행복 간 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과

        본 연구는 특성화고등학생의 성격강점과 주관적 행복의 관계를 알아보고, 그 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 2019년 7월 17일부터 이틀간 서울지역 소재 두 개의 특성화고등학교에 재학 중인 고등학생을 대상으로 수집된 227명의 자료가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 특성화고등학생의 성격강점과 주관적 행복 간의 상관을 알아보고, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 구조방정식 검증을 수행하였다. 주요 변인들간의 구조적 관계를 파악하기 위하여 AMOS 통계 프로그램을 사용하고 매개효과의 유의성은 부트스트랩 절차를 통해 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 특성화고등학생의 성격강점은 주관적 행복, 진로결정 자기효능감과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 진로결정 자기효능감 또한 주관적 행복과 높은 정적상관을 나타내었다. 둘째, 특성화고등학생의 성격강점과 주관적 행복의 관계에서 진로결정 자기효능감이 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 특성화고등학생의 성격강점이 이들의 진로결정 자기효능감을 높이고, 높아진 진로결정 자기효능감은 특성화고등학생들이 경험하는 주관적 행복감 향상에 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다. 끝으로 본 연구의 한계점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언 및 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of the research was to find out the relationship between personal strength and subjective happiness in specialized high schools, and prove the mediating effect of self-efficacy on career decisions in that relationship. As for the research subject two days from July 17, 2019, data of 227 students who were attending specialized high schools in Seoul at the moment have been used for the final analysis. A survey which asked about the scale of personal strength, subjective happiness, and self-efficacy on career decisions has been conducted to gather enough data. Afterwards, the Structural Equation Verification has been used to find out about the correlations between personal strength and subjective happiness, and the mediating effect. Furthermore, the AMOS Statistics Program has been used to identify structural relation ships with key variables. Whereas through the Bootstrap Procedure, the significance of mediating effects were proven. The results showed that first, the personality strength of specialized high school students showed a significant positive correlation with subjective happiness and self-efficacy on career decisions. Additionally, the self-efficacy on career decisions also showed high correlation with happiness. Secondly, the self efficacy on career decisions showed partial mediating effects with the personality strength of specialized high school students in a relationship with subjective happiness. These results suggest that the personality strengths of specialized high school students increase their career decision-making self-efficacy, and the increased career-determining self-efficacy can contribute to the improvement of subjective happiness experienced by specialized high school students. Finally, the limitations of this research, and suggestions and implications for further research were discussed.

        재발성 세균성 뇌수막염을 동반한 특발성 접형골형 뇌류 1례

        저자들은 외상이나 수술 병력이 없는 환아에서 1년내에 2회의 세균성 뇌수막염이 발생한 후, 자세히 병력 청취를 하여서 뇌척수액 비루와 연관된 해부학적 기형을 의심한 후 발견된 특발성 접형골형 뇌류 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Encephaloceles are congenital defects in the skull through which menings and brain tissues herniated. Basal encephaloceles are found in 1 in 40,000 live births. Transsphenoidal basal encephaloceles are very rare, accounting for only 5% of all basal encephaloceles. Currently, most encephaloceles are diagnosed antenatally and present at birth. Postnatally, infants may present with CSF rhinorrhea, recurrent meningitis, headache, hypothalamicpituitary dysfunction. Some, particularly trasnssphenoidal encephaloceles are often clinically occult and diagnosis of the disease may be postponed up to adulthood. Surgical indications and approaches for transsphenoidal encephaloceles have been remained controversial. We report a case of CSF rhinorrhea and recurrent meningitis caused by transsphenoidal encephalocele.
