The aim of this study was to describe how a teacher used technologies to improve underserved student’s learning in a low-resourced rural elementary classroom and provide implications for teachers’ use of technology. The in-depth case study was conducted in a one-student classroom setting that isolated the fifth grader from social and collaborative learning opportunities. The qualitative data was collected in forms of classroom observation field notes, teacher interviews, student interviews and student’s reflection journals. Findings are as follows: First, technology partakes an import role in a one-student classroom to support student’s collaborative learning. Second, to overcome a digital divide, the teacher created a technology-enhanced environment with alternative methods of her own and supplemented teacher-created resources. Third, the teacher used technologies to support adaptive instruction based on student’s needs.

The purpose of this study were to investigate how 1) IPTV was used in the classroom and 2) how teachers and students perceived the application of IPTV in the classroom. The researchers observed 15 classes and interviewed teachers and students from seven IPTV initiative schools. The result of study indicated IPTV was used in various ways in each phase of instruction. In preparation, teachers check equipment and prepare teaching materials. In introduction phase, IPTV was employed for induction of motivation, review of prerequisite, presentation of learning objectives. In development phase, IPTV was used for providing examples, practice, application of theory, storytelling, and managing class activities. In finish phase, teachers used IPTV for summary of classes. In terms of positive effect of IPTV, teachers believed that IPTV was beneficial for a variety of contents, students' motivation, students' concentration on classes, and enhancement of comprehension. Additionally, students indicated that increase of classroom interaction. In terms of negative effect of IPTV, teachers indicated no difference from traditional ICT materials, lack of high quality contents, lack of utility, reduce of classroom interaction, lack of usability, increase of responsibilities. Students also indicated no difference from traditional ICT material, technological problems, passive participation, lack of utility of materials as negative effect of IPTV.

The purpose of this study was to investigate diffusion strategy for blended learning in K-12 settings. The research question was what are teachers' actions in blended learning practice. The conceptual framework of this study was CBAM(concerns-based adoption theory). Semi-structured interviews and LoU(Levels of Use) were used for data collection. In terms of LoU, while leading teachers are over IVB level (refinement), non-user teachers are I level(orientation). Leading teachers employed various methods for blended learning but they were not willing to collaborate with colleague yet. Non-user teachers were interested in blended learning but were not ready to practice in their classrooms.
