The supply voltage has been drop rapidly and the total length of the wire increased exponentially in the nanometer SoC design environment. The ideal supply voltage was dropped sharply by the resistance and parasitic devices which stayed on the kilometers-long wire length. Even worse, it could severely affect the functional behavior of the block of the design. To analyze the effects of the long wire of the SoC while maintaining the accuracy, the modeling of the current and the RC conversion of the parasitic techniques are researched and applied. By these modeling and conversion, the multi-million gates HDTV Chipset can be analyzed within a day. The benchmark analysis of the HDTV SoC showed the superiority to the conventional methods in performance and accuracy.

Korea has accomplished the afforestation of its forest land in the early 1980`s. To meet the increasing demand for forest products and forest recreation, a development of scientific forest management system is needed as a whole. For this purpose the development of efficient forestfire management system is essential. In this context, the purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical foundation of forestfire danger rating system. In this study, it is hypothesized that the degree of forestfire risk is affected by Weather Factor and Man-Caused Risk Factor. (1) To accommodate the Weather Factor, a statistcal model was estimated in which weather variables such as humidity, temperature, precipitation, wind velocity, duration of sunshine were included as independent variables and the probability of forestfire occurrence as dependent variable. (2) To account man-caused risk, historical data of forestfire occurrence was investigated. The contribution of man`s activities make to risk was evaluated from three inputs. The first, potential risk class is a semipermanent number which ranks the man-caused fire potential of the individual protection unit relative to that of the other protection units. The second, the risk sources ratio, is that portion of the potential man-caused fire problem which can be charged to a specific cause. The third, daily activity level is that the fire control officer`s estimate of how active each of these sources is, For each risk sources, evaluate its daily activity level ; the resulting number is the partial risk factor. Sum up the partial risk factors, one for each source, to get the unnormalized Man-Caused Risk. To make up the Man-Caused Risk, the partial risk factor and the unit`s potential risk class were considered together. (3) At last, Fire occurrence index was formed fire danger rating estimation by the Weather Factors and the Man-Caused Risk Index were integrated to form the final Fire Occurrence Index.

Urguag Round(UR) has lots of implication in the forest product market as well as the other sectors of the economy. Chestnut, one of the major forest product in Korea, would be affected be free trade resulting from the agreement on UR. To establish effective policy measures dealing with negative effects of free trade, of any, the effect of UR on producers should be figured out. In this contest, the purposes of this study are Eli estimating the demand, supply- and its price functions of this market and t21 forecasting the effect of UR on growers. Using econometric method, demand, supply and price function of this market are estimated. The total amount of yearly money loss of growers due to free trade from 1992 to 2001 are estimated for four different scenarios. In each scenario, it is assumed that the tariffication reduction is 30%. 40%, 50% and 90%. Yearly money loss of chestnut growers at the year 2001 are forecasted such as 14 billion won, 18 billion won, 24 billion won and 25 billion won for the rate of tariffication reduction of 30%, 40%. 50%, and 90%. respectively.

본 연구에서는 에너지 및 환경에 대한 문제가 대두되면서 기술 개발의 필요성이 높아지고 있는 풍력발전시스템에 대하여 750kW급 Geared Type 가변속 풍력 발전시스템을 개발하였다. 풍력발전시스템이 급속히 대용량화됨을 고려하여 MW급의 기술 조합이 반영되도록 설계하였으며, 베어링과 같은 국내 인프라가 부족한 구성품을 제외한 모든 구성기기들을 자체 설계/제작하였다. 블레이드는 국내 풍황에 적합하도록 자체 에어포일을 설계하여 개발하였으며, 가변속 제어를 위한 이중 여자 유도발전기 및 제어기와 Down sizing 구현을 위한 유성 및 헬리컬 기어 혼합형 증속기를 개발하여 시동 풍속 3.5m/s, 정지 풍속 25m/s, 정격 풍속은 12.7m/s이며 IEC 61400-1의 Class I 에 준한 750kW급 풍력 발전시스템을 개발하였다.

As the exterior of building has been considered one of the important parts, the use of glass that is suitable to express various appearances gets raised. However, windows possess insulating quality which is 6~7 times lower than walls. Windows are the weakest parts as insulations and also it brings much of energy loss relatively. Lately, highly efficient windows are required as the needs for reduction of energy consumption come to the force. Therefore, Nowadays more people use cooling systems in summer, more the use of Low-E glass is increasing. Because it is good to block Solar Radiant Energy which can cause much of heat loss while cooling system is working. Accordingly, in this study, after making trial product in order to let the Low-E glass applied to windows, we evaluated insulating qualities with U-value measurement equipment.
