이 연구는 과학영재와 일반학생의 인성 특성과 학습방법의 차이를 보고, 그 두 변수의 관계를 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 수도권의 대학부설 과학영재교육원의 재학생 132명과 일반 중학생 135명으로 총 267명을 대상으로 하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 첫째, 과학영재는 대인관계가 원만하며 사회적 성숙도가 높고, 성취성향이 뛰어나는 등 인성적인 측면에서 일반학생들과는 다른 특성을 보였다. 둘째, 과학영재는 집중력이 높으며 학습전략과 학습 습관 모든 학습 방법적 측면에서 일반학생들보다 뛰어났다. 셋째, 인성요인은 두 집단에게서 모두 학습능력을 제외한 학습방법 변수에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 이러한 영향력은 일반학생들보다 과학영재들에게 더 크게 나타났다. The purpose of this study was to examine whether scientifically gifted students and non-gifted students differ in personality traits and learning methods. This study also looked for the relationship between the personality and the learning methods of the two groups. For the study, 132 scientifically gifted students who were enrolled in a university based gifted education center and 135 non-gifted middle school students participated. The instrument utilized in this study were the KPI Personality Inventory and the Learning Method Diagnosis Inventory developed by the Korean Institute for Research in Behavioral Science. The findings of the study were as follows. First, the scientifically gifted students surpassed the non-gifted students in interpersonal relationship, social maturity and achievement orientation. In contrast, the non-gifted students were more interested in various things than the gifted students. Second, the scientifically gifted students were significantly superior to the non-gifted students in terms of attention, learning strategies and study habits. Finally, this study showed that personality was significantly related to the learning methods in both groups, but higher in the gifted. The implications of the study related to the identification and education of the gifted students were discussed in depth.

Objectives : To find the factors affecting the fatigue and stress in naval workers. Methods; A questionnaire investigating general characteristics, lifestyle, job characteristics, fatigue and stress was distributed to naval workers. From 1,002 subjects, 994 were included and 8 respondents with insufficient replies were excluded. Using MFS(Multidimensional Fatigue Scale), SRI(Stress Respons Inventory), KOSS(Korean Occupational Stress Scale), we estimated the fatigue, stress, and job stress, respectively. The data were analyzed to investigate the factors affecting personal fatigue and stress. Results : Naval workers in this study had potential psychosocial stress and moderate level of fatigue scale. In this study, the fatigue related factors were stress score, sleep sufficiency, service area, job demand and organizational system. The stress related factors were fatigue score, exercise, coffee, smoking, job demand, job insecurity, lack of reward and occupational climate. Conclusions : Fatigue and stress were positively correlated, but the job characteristics that affected each were different. This suggests that for effective management of fatigue and stress, the details of job characteristics need to be considered individually for the intervention and prevention of fatigue and stress.
만성간질환을 가진 환자에서 중합효소연쇄반응법 ( Polymerase Chain Reaction : PCR ) 을 이용한 HBV DNA 의 검출

N/A Objectives: The detection of serum HBV DNA is important for the assessment of the disease activity and for the evaluation of the infectivity in chronic HBV infection. The goal of this study is to determine the detection rate of serum HBV DNA in Korean patients with chronic liver diseases by the PCR Southern blot analysis and to compare it with profiles of HBV serolosic markers. Methods: Serum samples from 306 Korean adults with chronic liver diseases(186 HBsAg(+ ) patients and 120 HRsAg( - ) patients)were tested for type B viral hepatits markers by RIA and HBV DNA by Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) Results : 1) In HBsAg(+ ) patients the detection rate of HBV DNA was 89.6%(164/186), Among these patients, in 96.1% of HBsAg(+), HBeAg(+)patients, 73.8% of HRsAg(+), anti-HBe (+)patiens, and 94.4% of HBsAg(+), HReAg( - ), anti- HBe( - )patients, HBV DNA was detected in their serum. 2) In HBsAg( - ) patients the detection rate of HBV DNA was 21,6%(26/120). Among these patients, 52.2% of anti-HBc(+), anti-HBs( - )patients, 13.0% of anti-HBc(+), anti-HBs(+)patients had HBV DNA in their serum. None of the HBsAg( - ), anti-HBc ( - ), anti-HBs( + ) patients had HBV DNA in their serum. Conclusion - HBV DNA was detected not only in HBsAg(+)patients but also in a significant portion(21.6%) Of HBSAg( - )patients, especially in anti-HBc(+)patients. Therefore hepatitis B virus may be related to HBsAg( - ) chronic liver diseases in Korea. Among anti-HBs(+)patients HBV DNA was detected in 13.0%, so that they may have some live virus even though they have obtained immunity against the virus. In 73.8% of HBsAg(+ ), anti-HBe(+ )patients, HBV DNA was deteced.
