        퍼포먼스, 시간 그리고 전복 : 김구림의 영화실험 키워드

        Kim Ku Lim(born 1936), who is recently evaluated as a potential artist and pioneer in experimental art, was born in Sangju , Gyeongsangbuk-do, and has a major position in the history of con temporary Korean art as a leader in experiment al art. Having maintained the spirit of denial of existing values and customs, he has continued experimental works, including painting, engraving, sculpture, installation art, performance, earth art, video art, and mail art, and has been involved in experimental plays, experimental films, music, and dance. In 1969, Korea"s first mail art, 〈Relics of Mass Media〉, was introduced, and major 〈Meaning of 1/24 Second〉 was produced in Korean experimental film history. In addition, he was a major founding member of the Korea Avant-garde Association (AG) and carried out avant-garde art activities emphasizing concepts and processes through AG activities. The artist"s individual exhibition "YIN AND YANG" was held at the Gana Art Center. Starting with the first individual exhibition in 1958, Kim Ku Lim has been considered the most avant-garde writer in Korea. This is because he has maintained a great trend in the times when he was mainly active and in general, Korean artworks that were popular at the time, and works that have largely deviated from the mainstream. It is no exaggeration to say that artist Kim Ku Lim rather maintains the trend of overseas art and the trend of the East than Korea at that time and now. In addition, Kim Ku Lim has been working on unfamiliar and experimental films such as 〈Meaning of 1/24 Seconds〉, 〈Untitled〉, and 〈Civilization, Women and Money〉, which are considered representative works of early Korean experimental films. The above experimental film works were created without exchanges with the Korean film industry, so they serve as precious Rosetta Stone that explains the history and characteristics of early Korean experimental films. In this study, This study would like to examine the identity of Kim Ku Lim"s cinematic experiment, which shows a world of work that is clearly distinguished from other artists. I would like to analyze what the avant-garde spirit penetrates his film works and what the main subject consciousness, formal implications, and characteristics are. This is because these questions can explain Kim Ku Lim"s avant-garde and experimental spirit, and can be a keyword that can converge his experimental film world.

        In this paper, we measured the processing time for fingerprint recognition and iris recognition technology among biometric devices. A test plan was established, tests were conducted and recorded, time was measured, and average processing time was derived. And we used the False Rejection Rate (FRR), which indicates the possibility of unauthorized users being improperly accepted, as the error rate and suggested the maximum processing time of the maximum worker at the peak time. Based on total processing time, we calculated the number of machines to process all workers within 30 minutes. Finally, we compared the processing time of RFID and QR Code with the processing time of fingerprint and iris recognition equipment and examined the economical efficiency.

        지역과 지역기반 영화제의 상생전략

        Since 2005, the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival has known as its uniqueness, introducing films related to music. Now, the JIMFF is one of the four largest international film festivals in South Korea. The Jecheon International Music and Film Festival is currently the only music and film festival in Asia. The theme of the JIMFF is “The World’s First Healing and Relaxing Music and Film Festival”. So far, there is no doubt about some benefits of the JIMFF among Jecheon citizens; however, as the festival is becoming bigger and bigger, citizens are paying more taxes. Some argue that the JIMFF should be able to boost the local economy since the city spends almost 1 million dollars a year for the JIMFF. This research begins with this controversial situation. Both the local community and the JIMFF are very important. The JIMFF does not belong to only one side. The JIMFF should give clear benefits to both sides. This paper explores what strategies make both the local community-based film festival and the community itself to be successful. First, I will research the prior studies on music and film festivals’strategies in terms of city branding. In conclusion, I will suggest the brand new strategies fitting into the JIMFF to make it much mature and unique.

        L 급전 및 Slot 급전을 동시에 적용하는 광대역 소형 패치 안테나의 설계 및 구현

        본 논문에서는 L 급전 및 slot 급전을 동시에 적용하는 설계 기법 및 안테나를 소형화하기 위한 fence를 설치하여 광대역(824~2,500 ㎒)이면서 소형인 패치 안테나(100(W)×120(L)×39(D) ㎜)를 구현하였다. 패치의 크기는 저주파수(824 ㎒)를 기준으로 일반적인 1/2 λ(dipole) 설계 기준보다 약 30 % 이상을 줄였으며(1/3 λ), 전체 대역폭 기준으로 약 100 %를 구현하였다. L 구조의 급전 방식은 저주파에서는 EM coupling 급전을 위한 방식으로 사용되었고, 고주파에서는 slot을 통해 전력을 공급해 주는 하나의 급전 선로의 역할을 하도록 하였다. 제안된 안테나는 광대역으로 설계 제작된 것뿐만 아니라, 전대역에서 배열화가 가능할 수 있을 만큼의 크기로 구현되어 초광대역의 패치 배열화 안테나를 개발하기 위한 기초를 마련하였다. 제작된 안테나는 전대역에서 정재파비 1:2.0 이하를 만족하며, 측정 이득 패턴이 계산된 것과 유사하였으며, 접지면 위쪽 방향으로는 등방성에 가깝게 나타났다. 최대 이득은 1,870 ㎒에서 8.9 ㏈i이다. 설계된 안테나의 시뮬레이션 결과와 실제 제작된 샘플의 결과가 유사함을 보였다. In this paper, the method of designing a wideband antenna has been introduced through the design technique that simultaneously employs L- and slot-type feeds. Using the two kinds of feeds and additional fence structure, a compact wideband patch antenna has been realized. The size of the patch has been reduced by about 30 % based on the low frequency(824 ㎒) and the full fractional bandwidth is wider than 100 %. The L-feed element is for the EM coupling feeding at the low frequency, while it functions as a feeding line for the power coupling through the slot at the high frequency. The proposed antenna has been designed not only for wideband operations but also for a proper array element with a reduced size. Thus, the foundation for developing the ultra wideband patch array antennas has been prepared. The fabricated antenna has been found to have good characteristics on V.S.W.R and the radiation patterns over the full bands. The experimental and computed results are shown to be in good agreement.

      • 대구지하철 화재 경우의 환기에 따른 열 및 연기 거동변화의 수치해석 연구

        The Daegu subway station fire on February 18th, 2003, was a disastrous incident that killed the lives of 192 people in Korea. In the present study, a detailed simulation was carried out to investigate the flows of fire and smoke in the underground subway station with consideration to factors including fire development, air flow induced by the moving train, and buoyancy of the fire. From the simulation results, higher concentrations of smoke were found to be near the staircase areas where many of the casualties were reported in the real disaster. The effect from ventilation operation in the station on the movement of smoke is studied to explore ways to reduce otherwise higher smoke concentrations in critical locations, such as staircases. The results of the present study provide suggestions on proper design of subway ventilation systems in case of a fire, in order to control smoke dispersion and ultimately assist in the safe evacuation of passengers.

      • 건설중장비용 카운터 웨이트의 시험평가에 관한 연구

        The counter weight is a heavy material installed in equipment to balance the center of gravity of construction machinery or special equipment. When the connection part of the counter weight, which is connected to the construction machinery such as a excavator or a fork lift, is broken to be separated, it can be very risky due to the loss of the center of gravity and its overturn. So, it is necessary to secure its reliability. However, to perform the life testing of the counter weight, it is required to have very large-sized exciter which simulates the vibration to the about 2-ton heavy material similar to that occurring in the real field. In this paper, the stress of the broken part of the counter weight is analyzed using FEM analysis and failure analysis is performed for the major components. The field data acquired in the site is applied to the life testing of the counter weight and the evaluation to secure reliability is performed by constructing test equipment simulating real service condition with a rotational vibrator using a electric motor.
