소멸과 재생의 순환 서사에 있어 시각적 상징으로서의 원(圓)에 관한 연구 -데즈카 오사무의 < 불새 >를 중심으로-

순환 서사는 현대 콘텐츠에 근원적으로 내재하는 경향이 있다. 많은 콘텐츠들의 서사에서 다양한 순환성을 발견할 수 있다. 이런 순환성은 원형(原型)의 발현으로 볼 수 있다. 칼 G. 융은 인간의 무의식에는 공통된 심상이 있다고 주장하고, 이것을 원형(原型)이라고 칭했다. 그는 원형(原型)은 꿈과 신화를 통해 드러난다고 밝혔는데, 이 접근법에 따르면, 많은 신화에서 나타나는 순환성은 원형(原型)이라 볼 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 원형(原型)으로서의 순환성이 시각적으로 표출된 콘텐츠의 사례를 연구하기위해 데즈카 오사무의 만화 < 불새 >를 선택했다. < 불새 >는 소멸과 재생을 하는 불사조를 모티브로 하여, 다양한 순환서사를 보여준다. 필자는 만화 < 불새 >에 나타난 다양한 순환서사를 검토하여, 작품에 드러난 시각 표현을 원형적 상징의 측면에서 분석하였다. 연구 결과, < 불새 >에 나타난 순환서사의 종류를 행위, 윤회, 고리, 시시포스, 원(圓) 순환의 5개로 분류하였다. 시각적 측면에서는 작품 전반에 걸쳐 순환의 상징이 내재된 원(圓)을 이용하여 순환서사를 시각화하였다는 결론을 내렸다. 원형(原型)은 인간 의식의 기저에 공통적으로 존재하는 것이기에 콘텐츠의 소재로 적합할 것이다. 특히 비주얼내러티브 콘텐츠의 경우, 이러한 순환서사를 원형적 상징을 이용해 시각적으로 표현하면, 수용자는 더 심도 있게 받아들일 것이다. 콘텐츠의 재료로서 적합한 다양한 원형(原型)을 연구하는 것을 제안으로 남긴다. A circular narrative tends to be inherent in the works of the modern contents. In the narratives of the works of many contents, there are various circularities. We can regard this circularities as a manifestation of an archetype. Carl G. Jung claimed that there is a common image in human unconscious which is brought to light through dream and myth. He called this an archetype, which is in the myth and the religious symbols. According to Jung``s approach, this circularity in the various myths is an archetype. In order to study an example of the contents that expresses visually a circularity as an archetype, I have selected Osamu Tezuka``s comics, The Phoenix. It shows various circular narratives with a phoenix of death and rebirth motif. The researcher in this paper has studied various cyclic narratives in The Phoenix and has analysed visual expressions in terms of the archetypal symbol by classifying 5 kinds of cyclic narratives, such as an act, reincarnation, a loop, Sisyphus, and a circle, and then drawn a conclusion that Osamu Tezuka has visualized the circular narratives throughout The Phoenix by using a circle that has its own inherent circular symbol from a visual point of view. An archetype is commonly at the base of human consciousness, it will be proper to use it as a material for the narrative of the contents. Especially, in cases of the visual narrative contents, the user will receive this circular narrative in depth when visualized by using the archetypal symbol. More studies about various circularities as a material for contents need to be done from now on.

본 논문은 마이크로웨이브 발열시스템을 적용한 터널라이닝 콘크리트 양생 기술에 관한 연구이다. 터널라이닝 콘크리트의 거푸집 탈형 시 요구되는 압축강도 3MPa 이상의 강도 발현 시간을 측정한 결과, 발열양생의 경우 4시간 이상, 일반양생의 경우 27시간 이상 소요되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 마이크로웨이브 발열시스템을 적용한 터널라이닝 콘크리트의 양생시간을 최대 85% 단축시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. In this paper, tunnel lining concrete curing technology using microwave heating system is introduced. The curing time to reach the required compressive strength of 3MPa in order to remove the tunnel lining form was measured. The measured times were 4 hours with the heat curing system and 27 hours with the conventional curing system. Thus, it is concluded that the curing time of tunnel lining concrete can be reduced up to 85% with the adoption of microwave heating system.

Tunnel excavation is an inevitable process for railroad construction in Korea and it being a one of the major issues of its environmental impact assessment. Ground water flow by tunnel excavation is an important parameter to determine environmental effects. The current method to determine the ground water flow is used a unit number induced a highway construction site. But it does not consider any site characteristics; ground water level, soil properties and others. The purpose of this study is to suggest the determination way of ground water flow considering site characteristics in tunnel construction.
