The purpose of this study was to find out the new directions of Korean rural village remodeling policy based on the representatives' needs in 32 rural villages. The villages were selected by accessibility, type of village construction, geographic characteristics of rural area, and administrative district. The interview data were collected from the representatives of each village. By analyzing the qualitative and the quantitative data, the following conclusions were derived: 1) The village remodeling program should be performed with a long schedule plan, flexible budget, and residents' participation. 2) In new villages, the post village management system should be set up in order to conserve the rural environment. 3) Above all, the expert service system based on government support should be done. The experts would guide residents by consulting about village tour, village viewscape of houses and facilities, and the merchandising of the village's specialized resources. 4) The rural village remodeling program should be carried out on the base of the sense of community and the elderly life.

The purpose of this study was to find out the residents' needs fur rural houses and to suggest the policy directions for developing Korean rural viewscape houses. The subjects were 386 houses and residents. They were selected according to accessibility, area characteristics, administrative district, and village types. The data were collected by using the interview and observation method based on the questionnaire. By analyzing the residents' needs for rural houses, the following conclusions were derived: 1) In order to preserve the rural characteristic, the government should lead to establish the yard space and the exterior design factors such as wall material and color, and the shape, material, and color of roof. 2) At the same time, the government should provide the residents with the subsidy for house improvement, so that they can build the desirabe size of house and the aged remodel their houses. 3) The contemporary design model of rural Han-ok should be developed and built. 4) The new rural house model improving roof design should be developed, because present houses with slab roofs and skirt roofs spoil the harmony with the rural natural environment. 5) The direction of rural houses for viewscape was defined as to satisfy residents' needs for convenient housing lift and to harmony visual and physical factors - building form, material and color - involving Korean rural housing culture.
아동을 고려한 대전시 대형할인마트의 유니버설 디자인 적용

This study was to investigate a child-centered universal design applicability of 5 Marts in Daejon City, and to suggest design improvements of it. The child-centered universal design in access & movement, convenience, information service and safety were examined through the field survey with the questionnaire of 5-Likert scale. The survey team were 4 students per a Mart, and so 20 students checked out them. As the results, the improvements of child centered design were as follow. 1) The information service design of access & movement to stores, parking, entrance, emergency exit/elevator/escalator, toilet & baby room was not easily visible anywhere to children-parents. 2) The physical safety was poor on walking to the entrance & a reading area of bookstore, and the psychological safety was very poor in a care room for missing child, a reading area of bookstore and a baby room.
'A' 유치원 실외놀이터 계획 사례에 대한 사용자 사후평가

The purpose of this study is to suggest a basic data of playground design that can arouse various curiosities and interests of children. The 13play areas 'A' kindergartem's playground that parent, music, play equipment, soccer field, water, sand, tunnel, maze, animal, plant, ground hill, bike road, and inner court were evaluated by 16 teachers and 165 children between the age of 4 and 5. POE data of teachers were collected by questionnaire. And children chose and rated very fun and interesting 5 play areas of 13 ones based on the photos. The results were as following. 1) 13 play areas were generally used evenly with diverse purpose. 2) the environment of the play areas was deemed very appropriate. 3) maze area and play equipment area were recognized as the most favored play areas by children. 4) teachers recommended soccer field, plants, maze, tunnel, music area as the most favorable play areas.
사용자 참여디자인에 의한 ′A′유치원 놀이터 계획과정에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to introduce the design process for the 'natural-friendly' kindergarten playground using participatory design method. The 'A' kindergarten in Daejon was selected as a case study. The concept of the design was decided by the user's needs which draw out the pictures of children, owner's educational philosophy, and request of the teachers. As a result, the concept approached to 'our neighborhood (Korean traditional village)' image, and was planned with a focus on open space, which allows rich in natural elements(earth ground, trees, flowers vegetable farm, animals, water and sand etc.) and various play activities. And a user participatory design method proved that it was proper to design a kindergarten playground.
광속법에 의한 조도계산에 있어서 실지수 0.6 이하에서의 조명률 적용에 관한 연구

현재 국내에서 실내의 평균조도를 계산하는데 있어서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 조도 계산법은 광속법이다. 광속법에 의한 조도계산은 거실(넓은방)에서는 어려움이 없으나 협실(좁은방)에서는 실지수에 따른 조명률 적용에 문제가 생긴다. 즉, 실지수가 0.6 이하에서는 광원고가 더 높아지더라도 조명률 적용이 같으므로 실제로는 조도가 떨어지는데 조도계산 상에는 조도가 같게 나올 수밖에 없다. 본 연구에서는 구역 공간법에 의한 조도계산을 하여(독일 LMT 회사의 ‘LMT GO 1900’ 프로그램 이용) 그 결과를 활용하여 작은방에서도 광속법에 의해 조도계산을 할 때 실지수에 따른 조명률에 계수를 적용하여 조명률에 실질적인 차이를 만들어서 실지수는 다른데 조도 계산치는 똑같이 나오는 불합리성을 다소나마 해소하도록 하였다.

산업사회의 발달과 더불어 신뢰성 높은 양질의 전기에너지와 운전 및 보수의 간편화, 계통 운용의 신뢰성, 안전성 확보가 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 각종 전력설비에서 SF6을 대체하여 사용되고 있는 친환경절연제 N₂-O₂ 혼합가스 고체 절연물의 절연파괴특성과 고체절연재로 사용되고 있는 테프론의 연면절연특성을 압력에 따른 특성을 확인하였다. 대기와 비슷한 성분비 일 때 상대적으로 절연파괴특성이 테프론의 연면절연특성이 안정화되며, Paschen 법칙에 의해 평등전계에 가까운 전극중의 기체의 절연파괴전압은 압력에 비례하여 높아지고 있음을 실험을 통하여 확인하였다. 연면절연파괴전압은 압력에 따라 선형적으로 증가하였으며, 혼합가스의 O₂ 가스 혼합비에 따라 절연파괴전압의 차이가 발생하였다. 이는 O₂ 가스의 전기적 부성기체의 영향과 분자 간 충돌거리에 의해 연면절연파괴전압이 달라졌고, 본 연구에서 분자 간 충돌거리의 영향이 더 크게 작용하였다. 연면절연특성에 따른 테프론에 적용 가능한 절연파괴전압 관계식을 산출하였다. 이러한 결과는 전력설비의 절연설계 시 기초자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이라 생각된다. With the increasing development of industrial society and the availability of high quality electrical energy, the simplification of operation and maintenance procedures is required, in order to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems. In this paper, the dielectric breakdown characteristics of N₂-O₂ mixed gas solid insulation, which is used as an alternative to SF6 in various electric power facilities, are verified. When the gas mixture has a composition ratio similar to that of the atmosphere, the dielectric breakdown characteristics are relatively stabilized. It was confirmed that the breakdown voltage of the gas in the electrode near an equal electric field increased with increasing pressure according to Paschen"s rule. The breakdown voltage of the surface increased linearly with increasing pressure, and the difference was caused by the mixing ratio of O₂ gas. This change in the surface insulation breakdown voltage was caused by the influence of the electrically negative O₂ gas and the intermolecular collision distance. In this study, the influence of the intermolecular impact distance was larger (than that in the absence of the electrically negative O₂ gas). The breakdown voltage relation applicable to Teflon according to the surface insulation characteristics was calculated. The characteristics of the surface insulation properties of Teflon, which is used as a solid insulation material, were derived as a function of pressure. It is thought that these results can be used as the basic data for the insulation design of electric power facilities.
학교 강의실 조명에 대한 에너지 절약과 균제도에 관한 연구

본 연구는 교육 환경 중 조명의 역할은 학생들의 시각작업과 학습효과의 향상 및 심신 형성 등에 매우 중요하며, 실내에서 생활하는 시간이 많아지므로 일정 수준이상의 조도가 필요하다. 적당한 조도와 휘도 분포를 적절하게 조절하면 눈의 피로를 줄이고, 휴식의 효과로 학습능률의 효율성을 높일 수 있다. 현재 수업중인 2개교를 선택하여 조도를 측정하고, 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 방법을 이용하여 조도분포에 따른 균제도와 휘도를 개선하여 경제성을 향상시키고 에너지 절약을 가져올 수 있다.
