        태충 침자가 간 미토콘드리아 내 Complex IV에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : The liver is rich in mitochondria and it plays a key role in whole-body energy homeostasis. Mitochondria is double membrane-bound organelle that supplies energy for intracellular metabolism including Krebs cycle and beta-oxidation. Acupuncture is known to stimulate and regulate the flow of energy. To explore the effect of acupuncture on the mitochondrial respiratory chain activity in the rats' livers, the activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain complexes I to IV was observed. Methods : The rats were divided into 4 groups; Normal 1 (no acupuncture treatment and anesthesia for 5 min), Normal 2 (no acupuncture treatment and anesthesia for 10 min), MA1 (acupuncture treatment at bilateral LR3 under anesthesia for 5 min), and MA2 (acupuncture treatment at bilateral LR3 under anesthesia for 10 min). All rats were sacrificed and the livers were examined for respiratory chain change. Results : There was no difference in ubiquinon oxidoreductase, succinate dehydrogenase, and ubiquinol cytochrome C oxidoreductase after acupuncture at LR3. Acupuncture at LR3 for 10 min increased the activity of cytochrome C oxidase compared with no acupuncture groups. Conclusions : Acupuncture at LR3 mediated mitochondrial respiratory chain activity via the cytochrome C oxidase signaling pathway in the livers of rats.

        홈 게이트웨이에서의 입력 트래픽에 관한 적응적 대역폭 제어 시스템

        이 논문은 VOD 서비스와 가전기기들의 제어가 가능한 홈 게이트웨이를 고려하였다. 홈 게이트웨이에서 출력 트래픽 제어를 통해 VOD 와 실시간 제어 데이터와 같은 입력 트래픽의 QoS를 보장하면서 CPU 연산 시간에 적게 영향을 줄 수 있는 PID 알고리즘 기반의 적응적 대역폭 제어 방법을 제안하였다. 제안하는 방법을 실제 테스트 환경에서 구현하여 검증하였다. This paper considers a home gateway(HG) that processes VOD services and controls home appliances. This paper proposes a PID algorithm-based adaptive bandwidth control method used in the HG, which guarantees QoS of incoming traffic such as VOD and real-time control data via control of outgoing traffic and have little effects on the CPU computation time. The proposed method is validated via implementation of real test environment.

        족삼리(足三里), 합곡(合谷) 침자(鍼刺)가 상치(上齒), 하치부(下齒部) 동통(疼痛) 억제(抑制)에 미치는 영향(影響)

        The pain was induced on upper and lower incisor of the rat based on the theory of 'connections of upper incisor pain with stomach meridian and lower incisor pain with large intestine meridian'. Such acupoints as ST36 and LI4 were used for alleviation of upper and lower incisor pain. The digastric myogram (dEMG) was utilized for the pain measurement. The upper incisor pain was gradually decreased during ST36 stimulation and significant differences were observed at 20 and 25 minute point during 60 minutes study. The upper incisor pain was gradually decreased during LI4 acupuncture and 20 minute was the only point that showed a significant difference. The alleviation of lower incisor pain was not obvious during the ST36 acupuncture. The lower incisor pain was gradually decreased during LI4 stimulation with significant differences at 15, 20 and 40 minute point. In conclusion, the upper incisor pain was relieved with ST36 and LI4 acupuncture while LI4 was effective on the lower incisor pain alleviation based on the theory of 'connections of upper incisor pain with stomach meridian and lower incisor pain with large intestine meridian'.

        인간 포배란의 유리화동결 융해 후 임신 및 분만에 관한 연구

        Objective: This study was performed to evaluate whether vitrification method could be used for the cryopreservation of human blastocysts derived from IVF program. Methods: Surplus embryos were obtained from consented IVF patients. Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation was done with midluteal GnRH agonist, gonadotropin and hCG. After oocyte retrieval and insemination, fresh embryo transfer was done at $4{\sim}8$ cell stage. The surplus embryos after ET were cultured in blastocyst medium up to 6 days after oocyte retrieval. Obtained blastocysts were cryopreserved with our vitrification method. Blastocysts were exposed to 1.5 Methylene glycol (EG) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) for 2.5 minutes, followed by 5.5 M EG plus 1 M sucrose for 20 seconds. Then 1 to 3 blastocysts were mounted on electron microscope (EM) grid and the grid was plunged into liquid nitrogen for storage. For thawing, blastocyst-containing EM grids were sequentially transferred in 1.0 M, 0.5 M, 0.25 M, 0.125 M and 0 M sucrose solution at the intervals of2.5 minutes. And blastocysts were cultured for about 6 hours and only re-expanded blastocysts were transferred to uterus of the patients on 4 to 5 days after ovulation in natural cycle or on 18 to 19 day of artificial cycle. Results: From Oct. 1998 to Jul. 1999, 34 patients were agreed to participate in this study. The mean age and duration of infertility of the patients were 31.6 years and 4.1 years, respectively. Among 34 cycles. replacements could be done in 20 cycles (58.8%). A total 93 blastocysts were thawed and 48 (51.6%) of them survived. Thirty-eight blastocysts, mean 1.9 embryos per patient, were transferred, resulting in 5 clinical pregnancies which consisted of 1 triplet, 2 sets of twins and 2 singleton pregnancies. The pregnancy rate per transfer was 25% and implantation rate was 23.6%. Five patients delivered 7 healthy babies including 2 sets of twins at term. Conclusion: Successful pregnancies and deliveries were established after transfer of vitrified human blastocysts. Vitrification using ethylene glycol as cryoprotectant and electron microscope grid is a rapid and simple method that can be effectively applied for the cryopreservation of human blastocysts.

        CMMI 기반 프로세스 지원 시스템 설계

        In this paper, I have proposed a design of process support system based on CMMI process which can support integrated management and repository for CMMI model processes. The system assists small organization to improve business process and offers institutionalized automatic environment to users for use of CMMI processes. The proposed system also can enhance quality and productivity of project by including features such as convenience of project management, planned project administration and steady process improvement.

        접근제어 정책구현을 위한 역할기반 XML 암호화

        XML문서가 웹 문서의 표준으로 자리잡음에 따라 많은 정보들이 XML문서의 형식으로 표현되면서 XML문서의 보안에 관한 요구도 커지고 있다. XML문서의 보안은 암호화, 전자서명, 키 관리, 접근제어에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 현재까지의 XML보안에 관한 연구는 암호화와 전자서명 같은 통신상의 보안에 관한 연구가 중심이 되었으나, XML문서가 방대해지고 복잡해짐에 따라 XML문서에 대한 통신상의 보안 뿐 아니라 관리적인 보안이 필요하게 되었다. 이러한 관리적인 보안은 접근제어를 통해 보장할 수 있다. 하지만 XML문서의 암호화는 단순한 통신상의 보안만을 제공할 뿐 관리적 보안 요소인 다양한 사용자와 다양한 접근권한 정책을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML문서의 보안을 위해 역할별 권한정책을 반영한 접근제어를 보장하는 주체기반 암호화 기법을 제안한다. 접근제어를 보장하는 암호화를 수행함으로써 다양한 사용자의 다양한 권한정책을 반영할 수 있다. 또한 제안하는 암호화 기법은 전처리 과정을 이용하여 기존의 접근제어 기법의 복잡한 접근 권한 평가 비용을 줄일 수 있다. As a large quantity of information is presented in XML format on the web, there are increasing demands for XML security. Research area of XML security is about Encryption, Digital Signature, Key management and Access Control. Until now research on XML security has been focused on the security of data network using digital signature and encryption technology. As XML data become extensive and complex XML security comes to involve not only network security but also managerial security. Managerial security is guaranteed through access control. But XML Encryption supports simple network security. So it can't support multiple users and multiple access control policies. In this paper, we propose an integration method of encryption and access control policy for securing XML documents. This methodology can support multiple authorizations of multiple users with integrating access control. And this can reduce the cost of evaluation process of the existing complicated access authorization with pre-processing.

        Atrium is largely designed nowadays to service a public space and to provide a pleasant space for the occupants. However atrium design is often focused only on aesthetic aspect overlooking environmental comfort. As a result, numerous problems were raised that involves overheating and local discomfort in cooling and intermediate period. Therefore it is important to plan proper openings to improve thermal environment in atrium.<br/> In this study, thermal environmental evaluation was performed to estimate possible issues in atrium and opening plans were presented that improve thermal environment in atrium. The results show that shading device is needed to reduce incoming solar radiation. Also, upper and lower openings are essential for natural ventilation and the larger the size of openings are more effective but the same portion of upper and lower openings should be maintained.

        신축주거의 실내공기질 제어방안 적용에 따른 에너지 소비량 비교분석

        The objective of the study is to investigate the effect of different control methods on indoor air quality and energy consumption in newly-built residential units. The control methods including ventilation and heating that can be applied before occupancy were chosen for this study. We carried out a field experiment to measure the concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and a simulation study to estimate the energy consumption during and after the application of the control methods in test units. It is found that simultaneous application of both heating and ventilation methods reduced the indoor VOC concentrations, while energy consumption was expected to increase. Installing heat recovery ventilators (HRV) was suggested to be one of the methods to improve indoor air quality and to reduce energy consumption during and after the application of the control method. Finally, we presented the correlation functions between the ratio of toluene concentration reduced and daily/monthly energy consumption after occupancy for residential units with and without HRV.
