        This study was performed the analysis on the final usage and the pattern type of Jacquard fabrics through the surveyed data from the domestic and foreign textile fashion magazines[Book Moda, Fashion biz, Vogue] during recent 5 years(2000-2004). The result of this study can be summarized as follows. 1 Jacquard fabric mostly applies to apparel followed by accessory, interior decoration and bedding. As classified by uses, in apparel, it applies to One-pieces most followed by jackets and coats. In interior decoration, Slipcover uses Jacquard fabric most and then cushions, curtains and carpets. In accessory, neck ties use it most and then hand bags, hats and mufflers. In bedding, Jacquard fabric evenly applies to sheets, pillows, blankets and coverlet. 2. As classified by uses above, flowered patterns apply to each use most followed by geometric patterns, abstract patterns, ethnic patterns, art patterns and animal patterns. In addition, flowered patterns apply to apparel most and then interior decoration, accessory and bedding. Geometric patterns apply to apparel, accessory, interior decoration and bedding orderly. It is researched that abstract patterns and ethnic patterns also apply to apparel partially.

        하이드록실 아민으로 처리한 아크릴 섬유의 중금속 흡착특성(Ⅱ) : 구리(Ⅱ) 흡착과 그 키일레이트의 성질 Properties of Cu(Ⅱ) Adsorption and its Chelates

        In order to investigate a practical application of fibrous adsorbents to heavy metal ions, amidoxime fibers, as a particular class of solid chelate agents, were prepared by hydroxylamine treatment for acrylic fibers in a recipe of neutralization. Among the important problems from plant effluents are toxic concentrations of heavy metals such as copper. Accordingly, the properties of Cu (Ⅱ) adsorption and its chelates were studied. The results obtained are as follows; The fibrous adsorbents have the property of increasing the swelling volumes by amidoximation. The adsorption of Cu (Ⅱ) ion is characterized by an endothermic reaction, which is estimated as the plus values in the enthalpy change (AH=1.30 Kcal/mol. and 3.14 Kcal/mol.). The Cu (Ⅱ) ions are adsorbed in the range of pH 3∼8 and the maximum adsorptions are occurred about pH 8. Owing to the anions (NO_3-,Cl-) of copper salts, amidoxime fibers form 1:1 and 2:1 (ligand:metal) chelating complexes with Cu (Ⅱ). The nitrate anion chelates to amide I (NH) of amidoxime groups and the chlorine anion does to nitrosyl (NO). These effects relate to the crystallization of the complex and the thermal property.

        Observation of Oversaturation-Induced Defect Formation in Tungsten Irradiated by Low Energy Deuterium Ion

        The type of induced material damage in the tungsten irradiated by using deuterium ions was investigated for various value of the fluence at low energy. Experiments were carried out in an electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma source that provided an ion flux of 2.8 × 1021 D+ 2 /m2s and a sheath energy of 100 eV/D+ 2 on the tungsten target. The energy of irradiated ions was much smaller than the threshold energy for generating cascade collisional damage ( 250 eV) in tungsten and was similar of the plasma at the first wall of KSTAR. The target temperature was kept as 700 − 800 K by using an active cooling system. Secondary ion mass spectroscopy (SIMS) was employed to observe the depth profiles of deuterium. The peak of the trapped deuterium concentration in the irradiated tungsten was located near 16 − 17 nm for 2.0 − 4.0 × 1025 D2/m2, which is far deeper than the 1.6 nm for ion implantation at 100 eV/D+ 2 ions. Thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS) data were analyzed to determine the binding energy (Eb = 1.45 eV) of trapped deuterium, which corresponded to an oversaturation-induced vacancy. This observation is very important for understanding the refueling property of the retained deuterium during steady-state fusion plasma operation.

        Chinju silk was studied on the background in a view of the industrial culture and history. From the era of the Tree Hans downward, Chinju Mok(晋州牧) was an ancient city which was continued to be the seat of a provincial government This condition of location had this region developed agrO-industrial society and the useful commodities such as clothing materials were marketed. The principals were confirmed to be ramie, hemp, silk, and cotton in the region of Chinju Mok and the divisional districts For the first time in the literature, Chinju silk was found to be mentioned concretely with the tributary payment to Royal families what was called a trouble about silk fabric yarn at Chinju(晋州 綾羅絲) in the brief of Korea Chronicle Especially the Chinju region is the town place where have the breathing of the Moon Ik Geom and the Jung Cheon II families who had spreaded cotton farming in the whole land from the last years of the Korea Dynasty to the beginning years of the Ri Dynasty.<br/> According to the historical records on Chinju region, it is considered the background that the weaving career in silk and ramie had effected on the technique to accept easily the cotton spinning and weaving at that time. And also it was cutted a conspicuous figure in the economic structure of Ri Dynasty that could be assigned the plebeians only for a manufacturing work, but the distinguished lineage had leaded to introduce, spread, and study on the cotton farming After that up to the last years of the Ri Dynasty, the records were too rare to state positively for the silk farming and fabric commodities As was well known, it was said in the civilized times that one hundred fifty odds of the households were engaged in the silk weaving at Mukok viliage of Sancheong county In Chinju region and they had taken the products to the Chinju markets to distribute in the whole land. The Chinju silk had obtained the fame to nationwide in the event and it is believed as the origin at present.<br/> Chinju silk were modernized by means of the power looms and the processing techniques introduced from Japan since the year 1910. The location was blessed with the water quality of the River Nam and the cocoons that was supplied in abundance and produced In high quality from the Sancheong and the Hamyang in the hem of Mt. Giri.<br/> Chinju silk was boomed with the crowning sales for the Chinju Niutong of which was occurred in an excessive demand across the nation in the 1960's An anecdote was told of Chiu Gyeom Ho, the head of Dong Yang Dyeing Works, who developed the processing and impressed on the memory as a great man in the silk Industry. Chinju silk is one of the specialized Industries in Kyongsangnam-do, for which is supported with the enterprising funds of the province and the government to develope But it is at issue that the limits are presented in the local conditions and the small-scales In this connection it is very important that we are in need of the understandings and the reviews for silk on the level of fashion and culture And also it is under consideration that the silk Industry is ought to be established the infrastructure of the claster.

        시험조건과 고강도콘크리트의 압축강도 관계에 관한 실험적 연구

        The strength and durability of concrete are affected by various factors such as the quality of material, mixing ratio, construction, the method of cure, time elapsed. the condition of test and etc., it is very difficult to pre-estimate the strength of concrete with the use of experimental specimen. The domestic standard of specimen cylindrical type and its sizes are both l0cm$\times$20cm and 15cm$\times$30cm, which are prescribed in KS F2405, and the loading speed is prescribed to test with 2~3kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ per second. The loading speed should have great effect on the compressive strength, but in reality in the construction site sometimes the loading speed is applied so dubiously that the value of the compressive strength can be unreliable. And the cross sectional area of a specimen should be level and smooth, otherwise it can be broken at a lower stress than the real strength through the eccentric or intensive working of the load. Capping should be carried out in order to measure the strength correctly. And used for capping are various materials such as capping compound, cement glue, plaster, mechanical grinding and etc. In this study, therefore, I have carried out an experiment on the relationship among the loading speed, the ratio of height to diameter of specimen, the method of capping, and the compressive strength, for the efficient quality control of concrete structures. So this study has been purposed to provide some basic data that can be used effectively at construction sites.

        Fabric handles are evaluated through mechanical properties to investigate hand factors and clothing performances in connection with polyester-wool blended fabrics and also its variations on heat-setting. In this study all the measurements are examined by Kawabata's evaluation system for fabrics and hand values are transformed from basic mechanical properties. Results obtained are as follows. The characteristics of blended fabrics are determined on surface properties rather than basic mechanical properties such as tensile, bending, shearing, and compression. Clothing performances are showed relatively soft, springy, and drape to surface performance. The handles of blended fabrics are dominated by SHARI (crisp ness) and FUKURAMI (fullness and softness). In variations of the handles on heat-setting, SHARI and THV (Total Hand Value) are increased in the case that are dried at 80˚C, but in other cases, FUKURAMI are only increased with increasing heat-setting temperature and other hand factors, such as KOSHI(stiffness), HARI(anti-drape stiffness), and SHARI trend to be gradually reduced with THV.
