폴리프로필렌 수지의 유변물성을 고려한 사출성형공정 전산모사

폴리프로필렌(PP)의 유변물성을 오프라인 레오미터(회전형, 모세관)로 측정하여 인라인 레오미터로 측정한 결과와 비교 분석하였다. 오프라인 및 인라인 레오미터로 측정한 유변물성 결과는 고전단속도 영역에서는 유사하였으나, 저전단속도 영역에서는 유의미한 차이를 확인하였다. 측정한 유변물성 결과의 유효성 검증을 위해 spiral mold 및 flat mold의 사출성형 실험과 수치 모사를 수행하였다. 종합적으로 판단하였을 때, 오프라인 레오미터로 측정한 PP의 유변물성을 반영한 사출성형 유동 해석 결과가 인라인 레오미터를 활용한 결과 대비 실제 사출 실험 결과를 잘 예측하였는데 특히, flat mold에서의 최대사출 압력은 실제 실험결과와 거의 일치하였다. 또한, 용융 고분자의 흐름성에 영향을 미치는 열적 특성 중 전이 온도와 냉각수 온도의 영향을 살펴보았다. 고분자의 고형화가 빠를수록 spiral mold 내 고분자의 흐름성이 약하였고, flat mold의 최대사출압은 높아지는 결과를 확인하였다.
퍼스날 컴퓨터를 이용한 Driver Aid System 개발

A computer aided test system is newly developed for vehicle emission tests. This system is designed for emission engineers and test drivers with the aim of being cost-effective and easy-to-use. The driver utilizes the system during EPA certification tests for catalytic converters together with a chassis dynamometer, and it is named an Advanced Driver Aid System (ADAS).<br/> Compared to currently-existing Driver Aid Systems (DAS), the ADAS has a couple of unique features. These features are 1) to be able to be connected to any existing IBM compatible PC with a CPU of 80486 or faster processing capability, 2) to provide post-processing capabilities with logged test data files, and 3) to employ mode making environment to create the own specific test procedures. The ADAS also maximizes the visual capability' of a personal computer using Turbo C's graphics library.<br/> During real-time experimental tests, the .ADAS shows satisfactory performances. However, higher resolution encoder signal from the chassis dynamometer is recommended to obtain better performances of the ADAS.<br/>
3차원 비대칭 철근콘크리트 구조물의 비선형 지진응답해석

본 논문은 철근콘크리트 구조물의 지진해석에 관한 국제 벤치마크 프로젝트인 SMART-2013을 통해 3차원 비대칭 철근콘크리트 건물의 고유진동수와 재료 비선형성을 고려한 지진응답을 계산한 결과를 제시한다. 이를 위해 콘크리트와 철근의 비선형 재료모델을 구성하고 대표부피요소에 대한 국부테스트를 수행하여 비선형 모델의 성능을 평가하였다. 이러한 SMART-2013 철근콘크리트 건물의 비선형 유한요소모델에 대해 모드해석과 저강도 지진하중에 대한 선형 시간이력해석을 수행한 결과, 구조물의 고유진동수, 변위 및 가속도 시간이력이 SMART-2013 프로젝트에서 제시한 실험값들과 유사하였다. 또한 Northridge 지진에 대한 변위 및 가속도 응답의 시간이력과 최대층간상대변위의 응답스펙트럼을 계산하여 고강도 지진하중에 대한 이 철근콘크리트 건물의 거동을 평가하였다. This paper presents the seismic performance of a geometrically unsymmetrical reinforced concrete building considering torsional effect and material nonlinearity of concrete and steel. The reinforced concrete building is a structure for seismic performance evaluation in the SMART-2013 international benchmark program. Nonlinear constitutive models for concrete and steel were constructed, and their numerical performance was demonstrated by various local tests. Modal analysis showed that the first three natural frequencies and mode shapes were close to the experimental results from the SMART-2013 program. In the time history analysis for low-intensity seismic loadings, displacement and acceleration responses at sampling points were similar to the experimental results. In the end, nonlinear time history analysis was conducted for Northridge earthquake to predict the behavior of the reinforced concrete structure under high-intensity seismic loadings.

An 8-week feeding experiment was conducted to evaluate three types of squid Sepia esculenta liver powder (SLP) as a dietary protein source replacing fish meal (FM) in juvenile olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus. To replace FM, six experimental diets were formulated with three types (A, B, C) of SLP at the 5 and 10%: SLP-A5, SLP-A10, SLP-B5, SLP-B10, SLP-C5, and SLP-C10. One control diet contained 100% FM as the main protein source and another was a commercial diet (Com). Fish with an average body weight of 22.8±0.4 g (mean±SD) were allocated randomly to aquaria in groups of 20 fish and fed the experimental diets in triplicate to satiation. The weight gain (WG) and specific growth rate (SGR) of fish fed the SLP-C10 diet were lower than those of fish fed the FM and SLP-B5 diets. No significant difference was observed in the WG and SGR among fish fed the diets other than SLP-C10. The feed efficiency (FE) and protein efficiency ratio (PER) of fish fed each SLP diet did not differ from those fed the control diet. However, fish fed SLP-C5 and SLP-C10 had a lower FE and PER than the fish fed commercial, SLP-A5 and SLP-B5 diets. Each SLP diet except for SLP-C10 could replace up to 10% of FM for juvenile olive flounder. The results of this experiment provide information that will assist in formulating an inexpensive practical diet containing SLP for juvenile olive flounder.

A test system for analyzing the shift pattern of a manual transmission vehicle was newly developed and tested. This system which is called a Computer Aided Shift-survey System(CASS) can be used to develop a representative shift pattern for the EPA fuel economy test as well as for the catalytic converter durability test.<br/> The CASS is a stand-alone system based on the 68HC11 microcontroller, and it also works with a personal computer. The CASS monitors and records the gear position, vehicle speed and engine speed by optical sensors. After finishing the test, the CASS can analyze the shift pattern. Both the real-time processing and the post processing function are available.<br/> During the test in the United States, the CASS is proved to be an efficint computer aided test system in terms of ease of use, accuracy of the data, and reliability of the system.<br/>

This is a study on a test system newly developed for analyzing the shift pattern of a manual transmission vehicle. This system which is called a Computer Aided Shift-survey System(CASS) can be used to develop a representative shift pattern for the EPA fuel economy test as well as for the catalytic converter durability test.<br/> The CASS mainly consists of a microcontroller(68HCll) and a notebook computer. It monitors gear position and vehicle speed by optical sensors. Whenever a driver shifts a gear, the CASS analyzes the shift pattern in real-time. The real-time processing test version is completed and shows satisfactory performances, and the final version which can perform post-processing as welt as real-time processing is being developed.<br/>
