탈북 청소년 지원체계화 방안 연구

이 연구는 탈북 청소년의 시혜적이고 수동적인 지원 대상으로 바라보던 관점에서 벗어나 탈북 청소년을 능동적이고 주체적인 대상으로 접근하고자 한다. 이에 탈북 청소년의 역량과 각종 지원 제도를 알아보고 효과적인 지원체계를 마련하고자 한다. 연구 목적에 따라 첫째, 탈북 청소년의 특성 및 욕구 파악, 둘째, 탈북 청소년 대상 정부의 지원정책 현황 분석, 셋째, 아동·청소년 지원관련 해외 사례 고찰, 넷째, 탈북 청소년의 역량 파악을 위한 면접과 FGI 및 설문 분석, 다섯째, 탈북 청소년 지원정책 개선방안 도출 등을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 국내·외 선행연구 및 행정자료를 분석하고, 탈북 청소년의 욕구 파악을 위한 2차 자료 분석과 탈북 청소년 심층면접과 설문조사, 전문가 의견조사, 초점집단인터뷰(FGI), 전문가 자문, 정책연구실무협의회 등의 연구방법을 활용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 해외사례로서 독일은 통일과정에서 청소년 정책과 관련한 법률, 제도, 예산, 기관, 프로그램 등이 청소년 관련 전반에 걸쳐 체계를 정비하였다. 미국은 난민 청소년을 위해 대상자의 강점과 역량을 파악하고 이를 지원하기 위해 다양한 제도를 갖추고 있다. 탈북 청소년의 면접과 설문 조사에서는 청소년 스스로 자신의 역량을 발전시키고자 하는 노력하는 모습을 보이며, 남‧북한 청소년 역량에 상반되거나 큰 차이를 보이기보다 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 그러나 탈북 청소년은 남한 사회의 편견과 차별적 시선 등으로 인해 자신의 가지고 있는 역량을 표현 또는 발전시키는데 어려움을 가지고 있다. 탈북 청소년 관련 전문가와 실무자는 탈북 청소년에 대한 입국 초기 정확한 사정, 심리 지원 체계, 가족 지원 등의 강화와 정부와 민간기관의 협력, 북한이탈주민에 대한 인식 개선 등을 요구하고 있다. 이를 통해 탈북 청소년들에게 자신의 삶에 동기부여를 하고 다양한 역량을 키울 수 있는 방안 마련이 필요함을 언급하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 탈북청소년 지원체계화를 위하여 역량 개발을 위한 기반 조성, 역량 강화를 위한 제도개선, 역량 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발, 탈북 청소년에 대한 인식 개선을 위한 방안 마련을 위한 세부 추진과제를 제안하였다. This research approaches from a viewpoint to regard north korean defecting adolescents as not those to be given benefits and passive but active and independent. Hence Id like to investigate north korean defecting adolescents competency and all sorts of support scheme and come up with effective support system. According to purpose of this research, I looked into five things as follows; First, grasping north korean defecting adolescents characteristic and needs. Second, current state analysis of government policy. Third, consideration of foreign cases related to children and youth. Fourth, interview and survey analysis for understanding their competency. Fifth, producing improvement ways of support policy. For these, domestic and foreign preceding research and administration date were analyzed. And also method of study was utilized such as secondary date analysis, depths interview and survey, specialist opinion investigation, Focus Group Interview(FGI), experts advice, policy research working-level committee in order to comprehend their desire. Main research result is as follows; Germany generally arranged law, system, budget, institution, program concerning youth policy in the process of reunification. America has various system for understanding strength and competency of displaced adolescents and supporting this. Through interview and survey I found that theyve made efforts to develop their competency for themselves. Also, similar tendency was observed between south and north korean adolescents competency. However, they have difficulty in expressing or improving their own competency because of prejudice and discriminative awareness of south korea. North korean defecting adolescents experts and hands-on workers require 3 things. First, strengthening accurate assessment in the beginning of their entrance to South Korea, psychological support system, and family support. Second, cooperation between government and private sector. Finally, improving awareness for north korean refugees. I mentioned that it is necessary to motivate for them to live their lives and prepare their diverse competency development plan for north korean defecting adolescents. On the basis of this research result I suggested competency development foundation construction, system reform for empowerment, competency improvement program development, awareness improvement plan preparation for north korean defecting adolescents support systematization

줄기세포로부터 퇴행성 황반변성 치료를 위한 망막색소상피의 생선 연구 동향

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is characterized by the loss or dysfunction of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and one of the major causes of irreversible blindness in the elderly. According to the presence or absence of choroidal neovascu -larization, advanced AMD can be classified into two types (dry AMD and wet AMD). Currenrly, no treatments can reverse dry AMD, regardless of the fact that dietary supplementation with defined vitamins and antioxidants has been shown to alleviate progression. Therefore, RPE replacement represents potential new approaches for dry AMD. Functional RPE cells could be generated from stem cells by spontaneous differentiation, coculture, treatment of the defined factors, or cell reprogramming. In this review, we summarize molecular and structural characteristics of RPE cells and discuss RPE-impairment, RPE-related diseases that will be amenable to cell replacement strategies and several stem cell sources to produce RPE in vitro.

Shift Work Is Associated with Metabolic Syndrome in Young Female Korean Workers

Background: Shift work is associated with health problems, including metabolic syndrome. This study investigated the association between shift work and metabolic syndrome in young workers.Methods: A total of 3,317 subjects aged 20–40 years enrolled in the 2011–2012 Korean National Health and Nutri-tion Examination Survey were divided into shift and day workers. We conducted a cross-sectional study and calcu-lated odds ratios using multivariate logistic regression analysis in order to examine the association between shift work and metabolic syndrome.Results: The prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 14.3% and 7.1% among male and female shift workers, respec-tively. After adjusting for confounding factors, shift work was associated with metabolic syndrome in female work-ers (odds ratio, 2.53; 95% confidence interval, 1.12 to 5.70).Conclusion: Shift work was associated with metabolic syndrome in young women. Timely efforts are necessary to manage metabolic syndrome in the workplace.

Parkinson``s disease (PD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative movement disorder involved in central nervous system. PD is characterized by progressive and selective loss of dopaminergic (DA) neurons in the midbrain substantial nigra. For study of the pathogenic mechanism and development of the therapeutics in PD, various animal models are widely used as an essential tool. PD animal models can be prepared some methods such as neurotoxin administration or genetic modification from normal animals. Suitable animal model must be properly selected according to the purpose of the animal study because each animal model has different specificities and limitations. In this review, we will introduce various animal models of PD and examples of their application.

한국 미기록종 푸른날개팔색조(Pitta moluccensis)의 국내 첫 관찰기록

2009년 5월 30일에 제주도 서귀포시 대정읍 가파리에 속하는 국토 최남단 섬인 마라도 해송숲에서 푸른날개팔색조(Pitta moluccensis) 1개체가 관찰되었다. 이 종은 중국남서부를 비롯하여 미얀마, 라오스, 캄보디아, 베트남 등 동남아시아 지역인 열대·아열대지역에서 번식하고 수마트라, 보르네오, 말레이시아 남부 등에서 월동하는 조류로, 이번 관찰은 한국에서의 최초 관찰기록이다. On 30 May 2009, a Blue-winged Pitta (Pitta moluccensis) was found at Mara islet belonging to Gapa-ri, Deajong-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do. This species breeds in tropical?Subtropical area such as southwest China, Myanmar, Thailand, north Peninsular Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and winters in Sumatra, Borneo, south Peninsular Malaysia. It was the first observational record of this species in Korea.
