라이브 커머스의 IT 어포던스가 상호작용성과 몰입감, 구매 의도에 미치는 영향

Live streaming is becoming increasingly popular as it is distributed through various platforms around the world. In particular, after the outbreak of the COVID-19, it has shown unprecedented growth in the domestic e-commerce sector. Building a theoretical model from the perspective of IT affordance, this study aims to examine how live streaming affordance influences users’ purchase intentions through perceived interactivity and immersion. An online survey was conducted among South Koreans who had experience using live streaming commerce. Our results show that IT affordance, such as visibility, metavoicing, guidance shopping, had positive effects on purchase intentions through the serial mediation effects of perceived interactivity and immersion. Our study highlights the importance of understanding theoretical and practical implications of IT affordance for live streaming commerce. 실시간 온라인 방송이 다양한 플랫폼을 통해 보급되면서 전 세계적으로 큰 인기를 끌고 있다. 특히 코로나19 대유행으로 인해 사회적 거리두기가 시행됨에 따라 국내 온라인 쇼핑 분야에서 전례 없는 성장세를 보여주고 있다. 본 연구는 IT 어포던스의 관점에서 라이브 커머스의 디지털 플랫폼 차원의 기술 어포던스 특성이 이용자의 상호작용성과 몰입감을 매개로 구매 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 했다. 이를 위해, 국내 라이브 커머스 이용 경험자 440명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식모형을 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 플랫폼의 메타보이싱과 쇼핑가이드 특성을 높게 인지할수록 이용자의 상호작용성은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 제품에 관한 가시성이 뛰어나다고 느낄수록 이용자는 쇼핑 상황에 더 몰입하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 나아가 상호작용성과 몰입감은 매개 변수로서 IT 어포던스 특성이 구매 의도에 미치는 영향에 중요한 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 라이브 커머스 마케팅 전략 수립을 위한 이론적실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

What Makes Consumers Use Mobile Touch ID for in-App Payments? A Study Focusing on Perceived Convenience, Security, and Privacy

Mobile fingerprint instruments are now actively introduced to consumers as a secure and convenient solution to problems related to identity control and authorization verification management in m-payment systems. The purpose of this study is to investigate consumer perceptions of, and motivations behind, using in-app payments with a fingerprint Touch ID to purchase products. It aims to reveal whether consumers’ inference about a tradeoff between convenience and security still influences today’s m-payment environments. A presumed research model was proposed and tested using structural equation modeling to explore the effects of perceived security, privacy, and convenience of Touch ID in-app payments on attitude toward and usage intention of the technology, mediated by perceived risk and trust. The results of a survey (n = 406) revealed that perceived privacy, security, and convenience of Touch ID in-app payments directly or indirectly influenced consumer attitude toward the technology. The tradeoff relationship between privacy/security and convenience did not exist in the new mobile payment settings, while trust and perceived risk significantly mediated the effects of such factors on attitude, predicting usage intention. These findings have important theoretical and practical implications, particularly for the development and marketing of retailer’s in-app payments.

키워드 분석과 토픽모델링 방법을 활용한 지역 신문 유튜브 콘텐츠 특징 연구: <TV매일신문><국제신문><부산일보><영남일보> 채널 사례를 중심으로

Recently, many local newspapers have expanded their channels to an online video platform, YouTube. The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare keywords and topic characteristics of video content across four local newspapers’ YouTube channels with the most subscribers: Yeongnam, Maeil, Busan, and Kookje Newspapers. We collected titles, descriptions, tags, numbers of view and comments of the recent five hundred videos from each channel, and performed keyword analysis and topic modeling. The result showed that the channels of Yeongnam and Maeil focused more on videos containing political content, and those were also the most popular content on the channels. On the other hand, the channels of Busan and Kookje provided not only content about political issues but also contents for more general audiences such as rescue cats and medical information. Also, non-political topics were more popular than political topics on the channels. The four channels have different content strategies to attract viewers, and user reactions to the topics were also different for each channel. 본 연구는 지역 신문 유튜브 채널에 업로드 된 동영상 콘텐츠의 키워드와 토픽별 특징을 비교 분석하고, 토픽에 따른 이용자 반응을 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 지역 신문이 현재 운영하고 있는 유튜브 채널 중 구독자 수를 기준으로 최상위에 해당하는 <TV매일신문>, <국제신문>, <부산일보>, <영남일보> 등 4개 채널을 대상으로 동영상 콘텐츠의 주요 키워드 특징 을 살펴보고 채널별 핵심 토픽을 분류하였다. <TV매일신문>와 <영남일보> 채널은 지역의 정치색 을 드러내는 콘텐츠가 상대적으로 많았으며, 정치 콘텐츠의 조회 수나 댓글 수도 같은 채널의 다른 토픽의 콘텐츠에 비해 많았다. 그러나, 특정 정치 성향의 편향된 정치 채널이라는 이미지로 인해 콘텐츠의 대중성과 이용자 확대의 한계를 안고 있다는 점은 다소 아쉬운 측면이었다. 반면, <부산일보>와 <국제신문> 채널은 정치적인 내용보다는 특정 주제를 선정하여 채널 고유의 기획 시리즈로 주제를 선정하고 콘텐츠를 제작하는 경우가 많았다. 이는 흥미 있는 콘텐츠로 시청자 의 유입을 확대하는 것은 단기적 성과에 긍정적인 전략일 수 있으나, 콘텐츠의 질이나 소구 형태 에 따라 시청자 이탈이 쉽게 발생할 수도 있어 지속해서 양질의 콘텐츠를 제공할 수 있는 기반이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

지역 언론 유튜브 채널의 특징과 개선 방안에 대한 탐색적 연구 : 지역 지상파 방송사와 지역 일간지 사례를 중심으로

This study aimed to explore the posibilities of local media utilizing and developing YouTube as a way to secure new distribution networks and enhance digital content capabilities in the rapidly changing new media environment. To this end, local media’s YouTube news chanels were reviewed through YouTube API data, and in-depth interviews were conducted with local experts in the field of digital media contents production to discus characteristics, improvement direction, and limitations of chanel operation. Curently, many companies had made numerical outcomes with digital-only content reflecting local colors or using their own video archive system, but most of them were focusing more on expanding the chanel’s external or short-term performances through TV replay videos. One notable feature was that despite the relatively por infrastructure, some local dailies had distinct chanel identity and customized digital content, making them even more competitive than local broadcasting companies. Although the interaction betwen users and media companies was above a certain level, there were stil many pasive forms. Digital media experts stresed that the YouTube chanel of local media should establish its’ own identity and have the ability to produce content based on users’ neds and desires. Also, the two-way communication capability should be strengthened to become a public forum for regional isues that anyone can easily participate in, and that such voices should be reflected through content. This shows the posibility of local media’s YouTube chanel developing as a modified community journalism in the new media era beyond the perception of one of news distribution chanels. 본 연구는 최근 급변하는 뉴미디어 환경에서 지역 언론의 유튜브 진출 사례를 주목하고 새로운 유통망 확보와 온라인 콘텐츠 역량 강화의 방안으로서 유튜브 활용과 발전 가능성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 지역의 지상파 방송사와 지역 일간지의 유튜브 채널의 현황을 유튜브 API 데이터로 살펴보고, 뉴미디어 분야의 시사․뉴스 콘텐츠 제작실무진들을 대상으로 채널 운영 특징과, 경쟁력 개선 방안, 한계점 등을 검토하는 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 현재 많은 지역의 언론사들은 유튜브 채널을 운영하며 수치적인 성과도 거두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 지역색을 반영하고 영상 아카이브를 활용하여 이슈를따라가는 등 다양한 방식으로 디지털 전용 콘텐츠를 제작하고 있었으나, 한편으로는 대부분이 방송 다시보기 서비스에 치중하는 형태로 채널 외연의 확장과 단기적 성과에 더욱 치중하고 있었다. 눈에 띄는 특징은 몇몇의 지역 일간지는 상대적으로 열약한 인프라에도 뚜렷한 정체성과 맞춤형 콘텐츠로 지역 방송사보다 더 나은 경쟁력을 발휘하고 있었다. 이용자와 언론사 간의 상호작용은 각 언론사의 여건에 맞게 일정 수준 이루어지고있었으나 소극적인 형태가 많았다. 지역 뉴미디어 콘텐츠 제작진들은 지역 언론사의 유튜브 채널로서 정체성과 중장기적 비전의 확립이 선행되어야하며, 유튜브에 맞는 콘텐츠 소구력을 갖춰나가야 한다고 강조했다. 또한, 쌍방향적 소통 역량을 강화하여 누구나쉽게 참여할 수 있는 지역 이슈의 공론장이 되어야 하며, 이러한 목소리는 콘텐츠를 통해 발현되어야 한다고 피력했다. 지역 언론사의 유튜브 채널이 뉴스 유통 채널의 다변화수단이라는 인식에서 더 나아가 뉴미디어 시대의 변형된 커뮤니티 저널리즘으로 발전해나갈 수 있는 가능성을 보여주는 지점이다. 그러나 저예산과 제한된 인력만으로 단기적이고 가시적인 성과만 지향하는 언론사의 내부 분위기는 여전히 극복해야 할 과제로 보인다.

라이브 커머스의 상호작용성이 구매 의도에 미치는 영향: 다차원적 실재감과 신뢰감의 매개 효과

최근 비대면 소비문화의 확산으로 라이브 커머스 시장이 급격히 성장하고 있다. 본 연구는 라이브 커머스의 상호작용성이 소비자의 구매 의도에 미치는 영향을 심리적 메커니즘을 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해, 사회적 실재감(시청자/판매자/플랫폼)과 원격 현장감, 신뢰감을 순차적 매개 변인으로 설정하고 구매 의도에 미치는 구조적인 영향을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 구매자가 인식하는 상호작용성은 라이브 커머스에서 구매 의도에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이때 여러 차원의 사회적 실재감과 원격 현장감은 모두 인식된 상호작용성과 구매 의도의 인과관계에서 중요한 매개 요인으로 간접 효과를 보여주었다. 또한, 이러한 심리적 기제들은 판매자에 대한 신뢰감을 형성하고 구매 의도를 결정하는 데 순차적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 즉, 라이브 커머스의 상호작용적 특징은 구매자가 시청자, 판매자, 또는 플랫폼에 대한 사회적 실재감과 원격 현장감을 느낄 수 있게 하며, 이를 통해 판매자에 대한 신뢰감과 구매 의도를 유발한다는 것이다. 본 연구는 라이브 커머스 이용자의 구매 의사 결정 과정에서 심리적 연결감인 사회적 실재감과 원격 현장감의 중요성을 다차원적 측면에서 강조하고자 실증적 증거를 제공하였다. 또한, 라이브 커머스의 이용 활성화를 위해 이용자의 심리적 기제의 중요성을 확인하고 향후 효율적인 전략 수립 및 관리 방안에 관한 실무적 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

지역 방송사 유튜브 뉴스 콘텐츠 특성과 이용자 반응에 관한 내용분석

이 연구는 지역 지상파 방송사의 유튜브 시사뉴스 콘텐츠의 특성과 이용자 반응 간의 상관관계를 살펴보고 대응 방안을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 유튜브 오픈 API를 활용하여 전국 31곳의 지역 지상파 방송사의 유튜브 뉴스 채널에서 한 달 간 업로드 된 3,950건의 동영상을 표본으로 추출하였다. 개별 동영상을 분석 단위로 설정하고 형식적 특성과 내용적 특성, 이용자 반응 등을 내용분석 하였다. 연구결과, 디지털 전용 콘텐츠를 생산하고 있었지만 매우 낮은 비율이었으며, 대부분은 제목과 형식이 그대로 업로드 되는 방송 다시보기 영상이었다. 또한, 상당수의 채널이 TV편성과 같은 종합 채널의 형태로 운영되고 있어 독자적인 플랫폼으로서의 전문성을 보여주지 못하고 있었다. 이는 지역 방송사의 유튜브 채널은 TV나 자사 홈페이지와의 차별성이 부재하며, 여전히 TV플랫폼의 보조적 역할이나 아카이브 기능에 편향되어 있음을 알 수 있는 부분이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 지역 전문성과 유튜브 감성을 반영한 소수의 디지털 전용 콘텐츠는 높은 조회 수와 반응을 이끌며 온라인 공간에서의 확장성을 보여주었고 지역 방송사 유튜브 뉴스 채널에 현실적이고 효과적인 방향성을 제시했다. This study aims to examine the characteristics of news content and users’ reactions in local broadcasting Youtube news’ channel, and explore how the local media should response in the new online video environment. YouTube Open API sampled 3,950 news-related videos uploaded over a month on 31 YouTube news channels nationwide. The content analysis was performed on the basis of the analysis of individual videos, such as characteristics of each content and users’ reactions. As a result, a few news channels have produced digital-only content, but the ratio has been very low, most were broadcast replay videos with titles and formats uploaded as they were. In some cases, it still operates as a comprehensive channel, which failed to show its expertise as an independent digital news platform. This shows that theses YouTube channels lacks differentiation from TV or its own web page, and is still skewed to the auxiliary role or online archive function of TV platform. Nevertheless, digital-only content, which can be a national issue based on regional expertise, has led to a higher number of views and users reactions, suggesting that is a realistic and effective strategy with expandability in online space in the future.

Evaluation of Flavonoids from Zostera asiatica as Antioxidants and Nitric Oxide Inhibitors

Zostera asiatica is one of the five members of the genus Zostera that can be found in Korea. Studies have reported the phytochemical properties and bioactivities of Zostera species. Current study focused on the antioxidant effects of Z. asiatica as a part of ongoing research for bioactive substances from marine resources. Results indicated that a crude extract of Z. asiatica not only scavenged on peroxynitrite in vitro and on intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) but also inhibited production of nitric oxide (NO). The crude extract was subjected to solvent fractionation for bioactivity-based separation using aforementioned three bioassay systems. From the active n-butanol fraction, two flavonoids were isolated and characterized as luteolin (1) and luteolin-3’-sulfate (2). Both flavonoids showed significant antioxidant effects. In conclusion, Z. asiatica was demonstrated to possess antioxidant effect partly attributed to isolated flavonoids, the first such effect reported from Z. asiatica, to the best of our knowledge.

염생식물 가는갯는쟁이 용매 추출물의 항염증활성

본 연구에서는 염생식물을 이용한 생리활성 소재 개발 연구의 일환으로 가는갯능쟁이의 용매 추출물 및 분획물을 제조하여 LPS로 염증을 유도한 마우스 유래 macrophages에서의 NO 생성 및 염증관련인자의 발현에 미치는 영향을 검토하여 가는갯능쟁이의 항염증 소재로서의 이용 가능성을 검토하였다. 가는갯능쟁이는 methylene chloride와 methanol을 이용하여 제조한 조추출물(crude extract, 48.3 mg)을 용매극성에 따라 단계적으로 분획하여 n-hexane 층(11.5 mg), 85% aqueous methanol 수용액층(85% aq. MeOH, 11.3 mg), n-butanol 층(n-BuOH, 11.2 mg)과 water 층(12.3 mg)을 얻었다. 가는갯능쟁이의 조추출물 및 분획물의 RAW264.7 대식세포에 대한 독성 여부를 측정하여 세포에 대한 독성이 나타나지 않는 처리 농도에서 추출물 및 분획물의 항염증 활성을 확인하였다. 조추출물은 LPS로 유도된 NO 생성을 유의적으로 억제하는 효과를 나타내었으며, 주요 염증 유발인자인 iNOS와 COX-2의 발현 또한 효과적으로 억제하였다. 분획물의 NO 생성 억제효과는 85% aq. MeOH> n-BuOH >n-hexane > H₂O의 순으로 나타났으며, 세포내 전사수준에서 염증관련 유전자의 발현 억제율은 H₂O 분획 처리군에 비해 85% aq. MeOH, n-BuOH 및 n-hexane 분획 처리군에서 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 항염증 활성이 가장 높게 나타난 85% aq. MeOH 분획층으로 부터 염증억제 효과가 있는 유효 성분의 분리가 기대된다. As a part of ongoing research to elucidate and characterize antiinflammatory nutraceuticals, the crude extracts from Atriplex gmelinii C. A. Mey. and their solvent-partitioned fractions were tested for their antiinflammatory potential in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 mouse macrophages. The crude extracts of A. gmelinii C. A. Mey. were fractioned according to polarity with n-hexane, 85% aqueous methanol (85% aq. MeOH), n-butanol, and H₂O. Their antiinflammatory activities were investigated in LPS-induced inflammation in mouse macrophages by measuring nitric oxide (NO) generation and mRNA expression of inflammation mediators, namely, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), and IL-6. As a result, we confirmed that the crude extracts of A. gmelinii C. A. Mey. inhibited LPS-stimulated NO production and mRNA expression of iNOS and COX-2 as important inflammatory factors. The inhibition of NO production through the downregulation of important inflammatory factors such as iNOS, COX-2, IL-1β, and IL-6 was found by treatment with all solvent-partitioned fractions. Among all tested fractions, 85% aq. MeOH showed the strongest antiinflammatory response. Based on the current results, A. gmelinii C. A. Mey. was suggested to possess natural antiinflammatory components, indicating that it could be used as a valuable source of antiinflammatory substances.

가는갯능쟁이 (Atriplex gmelinii)의 항산화 효과

In the present study, antioxidant activity of crude extract and its solvent-partitioned subfractions (n-hexane, 85% aqueous methanol, n-butanol, and water) obtained from Atriplex gmelinii was investigated using several different antioxidant assays. The tested samples possessed different antioxidant and radical-scavenging activities in different assays. nbutanol fraction showed the most potent radical-scavenging activity on reducing power while 85% aqueous methanol fraction exhibited the highest radical-scavenging activity on DPPH radicals and intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS). On the otherhand, n-BuOH and 85% aqueous methanol revealed the similar inhibitory effect on peroxynitrite-scavenging and genomic DNA oxidation. These results suggest that the Atriplex gmelinii can be used as the valuable source for developing a natural antioxidant.

염생식물 광나무(Ligustrum japonicum)의 항산화 활성

Dried samples of Ligustrum japonicum were extracted twice: with methylene chloride and with methanol (MeOH), respectively. The combined crude extracts were successively fractionated into n-hexane, 85% aqueous methanol (85% aq.MeOH), n-butanol (n-BuOH), and water fractions by liquid-liquid partition. Antioxidant activities of crude extract and its solvent fractions were evaluated by measuring authentic ONOO<SUP>-</SUP>, and ONOO<SUP>-</SUP> generated from 3-morpholinsydnonimine (SIN-1) as well as degree of occurrence of intracellular ROS in HT 1080 cells, and genomic DNA oxidation. The 85% aq.MeOH and n-BuOH fractions exhibited the good antioxidant activity. Further purification of the 85% aq.MeOH fracition led to the isolation of Oleanolic acid (1), Maslinic acid (2), and Ursolic acid (3). All compounds showed the significant antioxidant effects in all assay systems.
