        계절별 AERI 기준 스펙트럼 적용을 통한 구름에 영향을 받은 스펙트럼 자료 제거방법 개선

        국립기상과학원은 2010년 6월부터, 하향적외스펙트럼을 관측하는 고분해적외분광간섭계(FT-IR) 인 Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer(AERI)를 안면도 기후변화감시센터에 설치하여 운영하고 있다. 고분해 적외 센서를 이용한 AERI는 위성 기반의 원격탐사 자료를 검증하는데 유효하다. 본 연구에서는 계절별 AERI 기준 스펙트럼을 선정 및 적용(Seasonal-Cloud data Filtering Method, S-CFM)하여 구름에 영향을 받은 관측 스펙트럼 자료 제거방법을 개선하였다. S-CFM을 적용하여 산출된 최하층 메탄농도는 한 개의 기준 스펙트럼을 사용(Cloud data Filtering Method, CFM)하여 산출된 최하층 메탄농도및 지상관측 메탄농도와 비교하였으며, AERI 연직 메탄 총량을 산출하여 GOSAT 메탄 연직 총량을 통해 검증 및 분석하였다. S-CFM 방법을 적용하여 산출된 최하층 메탄농도는 CFM의 최하층 메탄농도보다 더 정확도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 지상관측 메탄농도의 연간 변화 패턴과 비슷한 결과를 보였다. 또한 GOSAT과 AERI의 연직 메탄 총량 비교에서도 비슷한 농도 분포를 보였으며, 매년 증가하는 패턴을 보였다. 뿐만 아니라 S-CFM을 적용함으로써 비교 가능한 자료의 개수가 증가하였다. 다만 여름철 AERI 스펙트럼을 통해 산출된 최하층 메탄농도 및 연직 총량 농도가 상당히 과대추정 되는 모습을 보이고 있기 때문에 기술적 보완이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. The Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (AERI) which is the Fourier Transform InfraRed (FTIR) spectrometer has been operated by the National Institute of Meteorological Research (NIMR) in Anmyeon island, South Korea since June 2010. The ground-based AERI with similar hyperspectral infrared sensor to satellite could be an alternative way to validate satellite-based remote sensing. In this regard, the NIMR has focused on the improvement of Cloud data Filtering Method (CFM) which employed only one reference spectrum of clear sky in winter season. This study suggests Seasonal-Cloud data Filtering Method (S-CFM) which applied seasonal AERI reference spectra. For the comparison of applied S-CFM and CFM, the methane retrievals (surface volume mixing ratio) from AERI spectra are used. The quality of AERI methane retrieval applied S-CFM was significantly more improved than that of CFM. The positive result of S-CFM is similar pattern with the seasonal variation of methane from ground-based in-situ measurement, even if the summer season’s methane is retrieved over-estimation. In addition, the comparison of vertical total column of methane from AERI and GOSAT shows good result except for the summer season.

        AERI 스펙트럼 분석을 통한 구름에 영향을 받은 스펙트럼 자료 제거 방법 개선

        국립기상연구소는 2010년 6월, 하향적외스펙트럼을 관측하는 고분해적외분광간섭계(FT-IR)인 Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (AERI)를 안면도 기후변화감시센터에 설치하였다. AERI는 고분해 적외 센서를 탑재하고 있어 위성 기반의 원격탐사 자료를 검증하는데 유효하다. 본 연구에서는 AERI로부터 산출되는 메탄의 품질 향상을 위해 맑을 때의 자료를 분류하는 AERI 스펙트럼 기준의 새로운 방법을 개발하였으며, KLAPS 구름 정보를 이용한 방법과 비교하였다. 맑은 날 관측된 AERI 스펙트럼을 기준 스펙트럼으로 선정하였으며, 구름에 민감한 대기 창 영역을 사용하였다. 임계값 선정을 위해 복사량 임계값 테스트를 실시하였으며, 선정된 임계값을 이용한 AERI 스펙트럼 기준의 방법과 KLAPS 구름 정보를 이용한 방법을 각각 이용하여 최하층 메탄 농도를 산출하였다. 각각 산출된 메탄농도와 지상관측 메탄농도를 비교하였으며, KLAPS 구름 정보를 이용하여 산출된 메탄농도보다 AERI 스펙트럼 기준의 방법으로 산출된 메탄농도의 품질이 더 좋은 것을 확인하였다. 뿐만 아니라 GOSAT 연직 메탄 총량과의 비교에서도 좋은 결과를 보여주었다. The National Institute of Meteorological Research (NIMR) has operated the Fourier Transform InfraRed (FTIR) spectrometer which is the Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (AERI) in Anmyeon island, Korea since June 2010. The ground-based AERI with similar hyper-spectral infrared sensor to satellite could be an alternative way to validate satellite-based remote sensing. In this regard, the NIMR has focused on the improvement of retrieval quality from the AERI, particularly clouddata filtering method. The AERI spectrum which is measured on a typical clear day is selected reference spectrum and we used region of atmospheric window. We performed test of threshold in order to select valid threshold. We retrieved methane using new method which is used reference spectrum, and the other method which is used KLAPS cloud cover information, each retrieved methane was compared with that of ground-based in-situ measurements. The quality of AERI methane retrievals of new method was significantly more improved than method of used KLAPS. In addition, the comparison of vertical total column of methane from AERI and GOSAT shows good result.

        탄소 기판을 이용한 박막 실리콘 태양전지의 배리어 층 효과

        We have investigated the characteristics of amorphous silicon (a-Si) thin-film solar cell by inserting barrier layer. The conversion efficiency of a-Si thin-film solar cells on graphite substrate shows nearly zero because of the surface roughness of the graphite substrate. To enhance the performance of solar cells, the surface morphology of the back side were modified by changing the barrier layer on graphite. The surface roughness of graphite substrate with the barrier layer grown by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) reduced from ~2 um to ~75 nm. In this study, the combination of the barrier layer on graphite substrate is important to increase solar cell efficiency. We achieved ~ 7.8% cell efficiency for an a-Si thin-film solar cell on graphite substrate with SiNx/SiOx stack barrier layer.

        Epiphrenic diverticulum is a relatively rare condition resulting from mucosal herniation through the muscular wall of the esophagus. This pulsion diverticulum is often associated with abnormal esophageal motility such as esophageal achalasia. Although pneumatic dilatation is recommended as the initial treatment for patients with esophageal achalasia, some authors caution against the use of pneumatic dilatation when esophageal achalasia is complicated by epiphrenic diverticulum. A 49-year old female patient was admitted due to progressive dysphagia for both solid and liquid foods, and weight loss and frequent vomiting. She suffered from Heller`s myotomy due to esophageal achalasia 8 years prior. She was diagnosed as having recurrent esophageal achalasia with epiphrenic diverticulum due to incomplete myotomy, using esophagography, esophagogastrodudenoscopy, esophageal manometry, and esopahgeal transit scan. The patient was successfully treated with pneumatic balloon dilatation, and her symptoms markedly improved.(Korean J our nal of Gastr ointestinal Motility 2002;8:185-190)

        위암으로 전위절제술을 시행한 환자에서의 비타민 B12 결핍성 빈혈

        N/A Objectives: We attempt to find out the decremental character of serum vitamin B12 level and features of patients with vitamin B12 deficiency anemia occurring earlier than 4 years after total gastrectomy. Methods: We studied 91 patients who underwent total gastrectomy and select 59 patients who evaluate serum vitamin B12 level within 4 years after total gastrectomy to characterize the features of vitamin B12 deficiency anemia group occurring earlier than 4 years after the operation. Results: 1) In 91 patients, the mean postoperative duration is 31.9(range: 0-135) months and mean serum vitamin B12 level 158.9(total 159 times, range: 20.0-806.2) pg/mL. Correlation equation is y=403.30×e-0.09x +175.93×e-0.02x (r2=0.804). The postoperation duration that serum vitamin B12 level falls below 200pg/mL is 20 months. 2) Among 59 patient, there were 20 cases of vitamin B12 deficiency anemia group(Group I), 21 cases of vitamin B12 deficiency(Group II) and 39 cases of non-vitamin B12 deficiency group(Group III). Preoperation symptom duration in Group I was longer than that in Group II(18.2 vs 9.6 weeks, p<0.01). Group 1 and Group II showed lower serum vitamin B12 level than Group III(126.7 & 96.0pg/mL vs 330.4pg/mL, p<0.01). 3) Eleven cases had associated diseases(9 alcoholics and 2 liver cirrhosis) with vitamin B12 deficiency anemia and these disease had significant influence on the incidence of vitamin B12 deficiency anemia(p<0.01) within 4 years. Among the 30 cases who could measure iron profile, 10 patients had an iron deficiency anemia, There was a higher incidence of vitamin B12 deficiency anemia in iron deficiency anemia group(7/10, 70%) than that in non iron deficiency anemia group(7/20, 35%) but no statistical significance(p=0.12). 4) Although anti-cancer chemotherapy did not have a significant influence on the incidence of vitamin B12 deficiency anemia, vitamin B12 level in anti-cancer chemotherapy group was higher than that in non-chemotherapy group(201.83 vs 127.66pg/mL, p=0.01) at similar mean postoperation duration(27.8 vs 27.7 months, p=0.97). 5) The independent predictor of vitamin B12 deficiency anemia within 4 years were associated disease(p=0.002) and preoperation symptom duration(p=0.004), Conclusion: Red cell indices such as Hb or MCV did not have any clinical significances in predicting the development of vitamin Biz deficiency. To prevent vitamin B12 deficiency anemia and promote better quality of life in total gastrectomized patients with stomach cancer, careful monitoring of serum Vitamin B12 level and replacement therapy should be necessary at least 20 months after operation, especially in patients with associated disease and longer preoperation symptom duration.

      • 위암환자의 복강내에 투여한 Mitomycin C-Carbon Particle의 Mitomycin 용출에 관한 연구

        Locoregional recurrence is the most common type of recurrence in surgical operation of gastric adenocarcinoma, and peritoneal dissemination is one of the most difficult problems in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma treatment. Because the peritoneal cavity is the most common site of the first recurrence after gastric cancer resection, intraperitoneal chemotherpy seems a logical choice for cancer chemotherapy. The Mitomycin C(MMC) adsorbed by the activated charcoal particles(CH) is relatively released when the drug concentration surrounding the carbon particles becomes low in the peritoneum of the peritoneal cavity. For the intraperitoneal chemotherapy on the advanced gastric adenocarcnoma, mitomycin C adsorbed on activated carbon particles was administered in the peritoneal cavity just before abdominal wall closure. The closed drainage tubes were inserted in the peritoneal cavity and clamped for tuo hours after completion of operation. MMC concentrations were serially measured in peritoneal fluid, plasma and urine at 2hour, 48 hour, 72 hour and 168 hour following its administration in order to study the efficacy of the MMC-CH as a drug delivery system. There were minimal toxicities in born marrow, liver, and gastrointestinal system after intraperitoneal MMC-CH administration. The data of this study suggested that MMC-CH may have a somewhat more beneficial effect than surgery alone when administered in optimal dose and schedules, but the MMC concentration of the peritoneal fluid was not sufficient to eradicate remnant cancer cells, and effective duration of maintenance was only below 24 hours in the peritoneal fluid and plasma.

        A common form of relapse in adenocarcinoma of the stomach is intraperitoneal dissemination, in fact, among gastric adenocarcinoma patients who have undergone surgery intended to cure, approximately 50% of the patients develope initial recurrence in the peritoneal cavity regardless of the anatomic site of the primary tumor within the stomach. The efficacy of systemic postoperative chemotherapy to prevent peritoneal recurrence of gastrric adcnocarcinoma is not satisfactory. There is still a great need for improved therapeutic strategies on the disseminated microscopic disease and small miliary nodules remaining on the peritoneal surface or lymphatics after operation. The authers have made fluorouracil-polyglycolic acid composite disks(Fu-PGA disks) with fluorouracil and biodegradable polymer: polyglycolic acid for more effective intraperitoneal chemotherapy. We inserted the Fu-PGA disk(s) in the peritoneal cavity of rat and pharmacokinetic study was performed to measure fluorouracil concentration in the peritoneal fluid, plasma, liver, kidney and heart tissue at 24 hour, 72 hour and 168 hour after insertion of Fu-PGA disk(s). Myelosuppressive action of this composite also was determined following its administration. The data of this study suggested that Fu-PGA composite will be a new device releasing drugs in a controlled manner and having targetability to peritoneum, and this device will be improving the efficacy of intraperitoneal chemotherapy for gastric adenocarcinoma.
