알칼리형 연료전지용 라니니켈 수소극에서 카본블랙이 전극 성능 및 촉매층 구조에 미치는 영향을 전기화학적 방법과 질소 흡착법 등을 이용하여 조사되었다. 본 연구에서 라니니켈 수소극 촉매층의 최적 카본블랙 함량은 2wt% 였다. 카본블랙의 첨가는 한계전류밀도를 증가시켰으며, 이는 기액접촉면적의 증가에 기인한 것으로 사료된다. 또한 한계전류밀도에서의 속도결정단계는 수소가 기액접촉면에서 녹는 단계일 가능성이 높은 것으로 조사되었다. The effects of carbon black on the electrodes performance and on the structure of the catalyst layer in Raney nickel hydrogen electrodes for alkaline fuel cells were investigated by using electrochemical and nitrogen adsorption methods. The optimum content of carbon black in the catalyst layer of Raney nickel hydrogen electrode was 2wt%. The limiting current density was increased by the addition of carbon black due to the enlargement of gas-liquid interface area. The rate determining step at the limiting current density was supposed to be a step where hydrogen dissolves at gas-liquid interfaces.

Ignition Characteristics can be changed when high volatile coal applied to blast furnace It is necessary to consider combustibility to apply high volatile coal at blast furnace. This study aims to identify specific effect of agglomeration to combustibility. To figure out the connection between agglomeration and combustibility, CPD modeling based on basic matter analysis, UBC and agglomeration experiment was carried out with drop tube furnace. Result shows that combustibility reduced when agglomeration occurred even if coal contains higher amount of volatile matter.

최근 시장 진입기에 들어선 연료전지는 가격과 신뢰성 문제로 도전받고 있다. 이러한 상황에 대한 해결책으로 주목 받기 시작한 기술이 바로 고온 PEMFC이다. 이 기술은 전해질 막의 프로톤 전도 메커니즘이 물에 의존하지 않아 가습기가 필요 없고, 높은 운전 온도로 인해 CO에 대한 내성이 강해 단순한 시스템 구성이 가능하여, 연료전지의 가격과 신뢰도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 고온 PEMFC의 기술적 특징을 자세히 살펴보고, 국내외 기술 현황 및 그 전망에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.
발전용 석탄의 원소 조성에 대한 개선된 ANN 기반 접근에 관한 연구

This study aims to predict the elemental compositions of 104 thermal coals with artificial neural network(ANN), which is based on proximate analysis properties. ANN model was optimized with six activation functions and four hidden layers after evaluating various performance. Best topology was set, and the relative impact on calculation accuracy was derived as a result to estimate chemical composition. performance was improved by 4.71%~0.91% from previous research. Then relative impact based on coal rank devision and optimized model was derived.

High volatile bituminous coal applied to Melter-Gasifier may change combustion characteristics due to agglomeration. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of high volatile coal bituminous coal agglomeration on the thermochemical behavior inside the furnace. The three-dimensional CFD model includes a pulverized coal injection system, raceway, and surrounding coke bed area. This results show that even with high volatile bituminous coal, the occurrence of lumps reduces flammability and that the Melter-Gasifier cannot supply sufficient heat for iron ore reduction.

Petrography analysis was performed on coal and petroleum coke. The purpose is to predict the combustion rate by applying the AI method to the petrography analysis. Drop tube furnace was used to analyze the combustibility, and the combustion characteristics according to the mineralogical characteristics were analyzed through petrography analysis. The strength of the prediction accuracy using the AI method was confirmed by comparing and analyzing the prediction accuracy applied to the AI method with other theoretical and experimental methods.
