In this study, performance based seismic design was performed on the shear wall structural system and the beam-column system as a variable general rebar and seismic rebar, and comparing the capacity of the two models of each system. From nonlinear analyses, the capacity of the shear wall structural system applying seismic rebar has shown a stable behavior after the maximum strength, but there is little difference. Furthermore, both models showed similar capacity between story drift and story shear force and capacity of members. These results are attributed to the fact that the seismic rebar, which is highly ductile under the seismic load applied to the target structure, does not render sufficient capacity.
장수명주택에 적합한 지하주차장 PC구조시스템의 경제성분석에 관한 연구

Precast Concrete (PC) construction method can be the one that is suitable for long-life housing due to its merit in respect of maintenance and durability based on crack-free from mass production with indirect construction cost-saving-effect due to shortening construction period comparing to the conventional construction method, but it has the problem that causes the raise of direction construction costs. So, this study analyzed its economic feasibility of PC method whose maintenance and durability are excellent for underground parking lot of apartment house for accomplishing cost-saving long-life housing by applying the various structural system. In evaluation of unit module structural system, two-way PC system requires 10 to 28% more costs for frame work than RC rigid frames, and, one-way PC system 98~112%. Although it varies depending on the method, the costs are similar to RC rigid frame structure, provided a proper method is adopted. Also, Model 11, which was most economical in the evaluation, was applied to an real parking lot and about 2 to 6% of construction costs was reduced than RC rigid frames. This seems to be because, although PC system has a higher production cost, introduction of P.S (prestress) reduces member depth and, therefore, height, as well as the number of members per unit module.

At present, the problem to secure seismic resistance capacity is one of the most important issue in school buildings. However, the range of facilities to consider retrofit or the proper direction of seismic retrofit haven't provided in details. Therefore in this study, a series of school buildings were chosen as established time, and the structure composition and the seismic performance of the school buildings were investigated to get the comprehensive features of seismic resistance capacity in school buildings. At result, it was presented that the member capacities were less than criteria and structure system was showed the brittle behavior at the collapse prevention level at the school buildings before 1990 year. At the school buildings after 1990 year, though it is hard to get general features for various compositions, it was presented that they have problems for seismic performance evaluation in some buildings at life safety level, specially in the direction of X axis. So, considering the introduction process of seismic criteria in Korea, the school buildings before 2005 year should be examined for seismic resistance capacity and the seismic performance should be examined as well as member capacity to resist seismic.
코어집중 인방형 제진장치의 효율적 설치방안에 관한 연구

For application to apartment house, which accounts for the vast majority of constructions in domestic, various studies on development of device for seismic control are being conducted by private constructors and public companies. Also, a device of lintel beam type has been developed based on structural characteristics of apartment houses and risk of earthquake in domestic, and applied to newly constructed apartment houses. Currently, in domestic, research on efficient installation method of device for seismic control is rare, as it is still in the early stage. Therefore, in this study, based on the damper for lintel beam that was recently developed, an installation method for efficient damper for lintel beam will be proposed according to installation capacity and horizontal position of dampers of different heights.

The objective of this paper is to suggest structural design for the long-life housing apartment complex to save the construction cost. The key is to use unavailable underground space due to bearing walls or bad configuration of columns in apartments as the parking space. Therefore, the structural plan of apartment buildings considering the parking section in the underground should be designed. After analytical resutls of three cases, it is significant effect in saving construction cost.
비인장 강연선을 사용한 접합부 일체형 PC 보-기둥 시스템의 휨성능 평가

In this study, a new moment-resisting precast concrete beam and column joint system was developed mainly for the use in underground parking lot in multi-residential building. It has attempted to devise connection details of the joint which will improve workability and provide effective stress transfer mechanism in the region of connection. The characteristics of the joint system is that the upper main reinforcements pass through the flanks of the column and the two pairs of the untensioned wire strands penetrate through the pre-scribed holes located at the upper and lower centers of the PC column. For the evaluation of the performance of this new joint system, two types of the specimens were tested. The first one is to investigate the behavior of beams reinforced by deformed bars and untensioned strands in combination. The reinforcement ratio of the wire strand to the deformend bar was selected as the test parameter. The test results showed that the flexural capacities of all five specimens were sufficient. However when the untensioned strand reinforcement ratio is exceed 43%, the deflection increased considerably. Secondly the behavior of this joint system under the negative bending moment was investigated. Two specimens differentiated by the type of the penetrating reinforcement (deformed bars or wire strands) were tested. The results showed that the both specimens have sufficient flexural capacities and the deflection and ductility was similar to each other. The study concluded that the new PC beam-column joint system has the structural performance satisfying the requirements, only when the reinforcement ratio of the wire strand is limited.
